    I cannot believe that you have not blogged about this hysterical hypocrisy from the BBC.

    I came over here to see your thoughts on it, and I was surprised you did not mention it.

    The pro-terrorists are afraid of terrorists! Hilarious.

    Hey BBC — don’t you know they are not “terrorists”? They are “freedom fighters” or “militants” desperate for “justice”! Come on, let yourselves be blown up for the good of the cause. They don’t have any other way to make themselves heard. Why, if you had to live their lives you’d probably become a bunch of splodeydopes too.

    Consider the “root causes.” Ask yourselves, “Why do they hate us?” Remember, BBC, a bully with a bloody nose is still a bully.

    On second thought, maybe you can get Yasmin Alibhi-Brown to ask those questions for you on Question Time.

    Were the two terrorists on the Today show some kind of promo for a sick upcoming,bad taste comedy?
    Do the British people need a BBC? I thought state funded media was for authoritarian regimes! Oh, wait a sec!
    the UK has a monarch, a state church, a house of lords, no Freedom of Info., a semi-democratic party acclamation election system, etc. etc.

    Taiwan is already paying the price for Zapatero’s behaviour.

    (It is not his pulling troops out of Iraq, but his immediate announcement of it, that played into the hands of not just Al Qaeda, but every lunatic and nutjob on Earth).

    I wonder if Anti-Abortionists would be regarded with the same impartiality by the BBC?

    After, all, surely we should deal with the “root causes of” their anger?

    WAY OFF TOPIC
    Is Nick Robinson, political editor of ITV News, still a BBC man at heart?
    He wonders in today’s Times whether Spanish & perhaps UK voters are less resolute to resisting al-Qaeda than their homegrown terrorist organisations. He concludes
    “Could it be that many voters saw the struggles with Eta & the IRA as wars that their countries had not chosen whereas the fight with Islamic terrorists was a war their governments had started.”
    What on earth does he mean?

    Has Western Foreign policy been shortsighted? Yes.

    Is it what motivates Al Qaeda? No.

    Islamic fundamentalism has been around for centuries. It is not a new phenomenon, there have been numerous governments, with very different policies, yet the pattern has remained consistent.

    Bin Lid has referred to “Andalusia” in numerous times.
    The destruction of the Buddhas in 2001 shows AQ’s agenda.
    (What has Buddhism done to Muslims?)
