Pregnant girl ‘pinned against post by racist road rage Doc in 4×4’
A GP drove her car at a pregnant nurse squashing her against a post in a road rage clash, a court heard yesterday. Sarah Chambers and her boyfriend chased Dr May Arnaot, 50, after she allegedly hit their Fiesta and did not stop. They ended up at a petrol station where Miss Chambers, 25, said she asked Arnaot for her details. She told the court that Arnaot called her “Tony Blair’s bitch” and drove her 4×4 Nissan X Trail at a no entry sign she was standing in front of… She told Blackfriars crown court, South London: “I couldn’t breathe. I was so scared for my baby.” Miss Chambers, who has since given birth to a healthy boy, went on: “I have never felt so much pain. I was convinced I had lost my baby.” She added: “I could hear her shouting at me: ‘You are Tony Blair’s bitch, all you white people are the same’.”… Miss Chambers said: “As I walked up to the open driver’s window I could hear a female saying, ‘Tony Blair’s bitch, you racist cow’.” She said she thought Arnaot was on the phone, until the doctor allegedly repeated the insult and added: “All you white people are the same, you all vote for Tony Blair.” Miss Chambers asked: “What are you doing? I’m pregnant. All I have done is stopped to ask for your insurance details.” She claimed Arnaot tried to drive off so she dialled the police. Then the car allegedly pinned her to the sign. Passerby Wayne Treveail said he saw the Nissan hitting Miss Chambers and heard the racist abuse. Ambulanceman Michael Andrew said Miss Chambers had been “calm and polite”. He heard Arnaot shouting followed by screams. He was handed Arnaot’s keys when she was parked 30 yards away. He told the court he offered to move her car to a safe position but she called him “an English racist pig”… |

Pregnant woman in ‘racist’ attack
A heavily pregnant woman was pinned against a post by a 4×4 and racially abused in a road rage incident, a court has heard. Sarah Chambers, 25, was allegedly attacked by doctor Mary Arnaot, 50, after a near miss on the A2 Kent Road in Bexleyheath, Kent on August 10 2005. Blackfriars Crown Court heard Ms Arnaot denied one count of dangerous driving and five other charges. Ms Chambers said she was left in unbearable pain after the attack. Ms Arnaot pleaded not guilty to damaging the Ford Fiesta Miss Chambers was in, causing her racially aggravated actual bodily harm, and inflicting ordinary ABH. She also pleaded not guilty to two allegations of common assault against Ms Chambers and her boyfriend Steven Boakes, 26. The court heard how the incident began at about 2000 BST as Ms Chambers’ partner drove her long the A2 Kent Road. Without warning, the doctor’s Nissan 4X4 veered towards them, forcing Ms Chambers to yank the steering wheel to avoid a collision. After Ms Arnaot sped away, the couple began following her to ensure there would not be a crash, the court heard. When the couple caught up with Ms Arnaot they confronted her. But she drove her Nissan into Ms Chambers, who was almost seven months pregnant at the time, and pinned her against a post, jurors were told. Ms Chambers, who claimed her “road rage” attacker called her “Tony Blair’s bitch”, said as the pain went from bad to “unbearable” she was left unable to move, barely able to scream and convinced her unborn child would die. She told London’s Blackfriars Crown Court: “I couldn’t breathe. I was so scared for my baby. The post was really digging into my stomach.” The hearing continues. |

Using your skill and judgement, determine which of these reports was from BBC Views Online and which was from that well known right-wing reactionary (shurely shome mishtake?) newspaper, The Daily Mirror.
Got it? Yes, the BBC Views Online report is the one that downplays the alleged racism of Dr. Arnaot, who, according her web site, The Ocean Park Private Clinic, was born in Baghdad in 1955, and who, according to this directory of expert witnesses, appears to be doing rather well in this apparently racist country where she has chosen to live. Even the BBC’s headline is ambiguous about whether or not the pregnant woman is the victim or the attacker.
The trial, at London’s Blackfriars Crown Court, continues.
N.B. The BBC report is quoted in full. The Daily Mirror Report has been abridged for ease of comparison. ‘Reasons of space’ is not an excuse for the BBC’s omissions.
Now change that story so it’s white middle class GP racially abuses a pregnant asian woman… I think the Beeb story might just read a little differently….and been slightly more prominent.

The word for word reporting of vitriolic abuse is what we expect from rags like the Mail. I don’t expect to read it on the BBC website, whether the persons conceerned are black, white or green

The Daily Mirror is hardly a right wing rag….yet it quoted some of the insults…

Has the BBC ever published a story where the racist is a Muslim or black?
No seriously I can find loads of stories on the BBC about white racists. But not many when the shoe is on the other foot. (or should that be flip flop)

When is a Racist murder not a racist murder?
When the BBC reports ona crime in which the Victim is white.
Second arrest over street killing
David Lees suffered fatal head injuries
Police in Manchester are questioning a second man over the murder of a 23-year-old who was knocked down by a car after a street disturbance.
David Lees was hit by a car, which was then driven off, in Middleton Road, Prestwich, after trouble flared among groups of white and Asian people.
A man, 25, was arrested on Saturday and a 27-year-old was arrested on Sunday.

Pound to a penny the Racist murderer is a Muslim. Now constrast the above with how a Muslim woman had her veil ripped off by a so called 60 year old bloke. Why the BBC couldn’t shout racist loud enough…

Aggression by muslims is always reported in the passive tense. “This happened; that happend.” Aggression /self-protection by indigenous Britons is always presented in the active tense. He did that to him.
It is so obvious, and so illegal.

Get a grip:
I don’t expect to read it (sic, word for word reporting of vitriolic abuse) on the BBC website, whether the persons conceerned are black, white or green.
Surely the very least we should expect in a report headlined Pregnant woman in ‘racist’ attack is what allegedly made the attack racist as opposed to an ‘ordinary’ attack?
However the Mirror also drops the ball by not specifying that the Dr May Arnaot was an Arab, if in fact that is the case. It is possible to be born in Iraq and not be an Arab, e.g. daughter of German diplomat, Belgium tourist, etc.
From the name I incorrectly assumed she was French! As Dr Arnaot says on her website “Life is a never ending quest, the more I know the less I know”. :o(

Why the surprise? Like the Commission for Racial Equality, the BBC is not “neutral on multiculturalism”. It even admitted so just last week. With that in mind, anything that casts multiculturalism in a bad light will tend to be played down by both organisations.

“Like the Commission for Racial Equality, the BBC is not “neutral on multiculturalism”. ”
Really?
Do you think the BBC’s against it too?
“Multiculturalism no longer provides the right answer to the complex nature of today’s race relation issues, according to Trevor Phillips, Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality”

jeff Randall thinks otherwise and would take the BBC to task on this issue.

Yes, Trevor Phillips did indeed state that multiculturalism was a failure…..but only after the organisation of which he heads has spent the last 30 years trying to impose it on the rest of the country. What’s actually changed at the CRE, and which policies they or their successor will now promote, remains to be seen. A tarted up, multiculturalism mark II is my guess.
As for the BBC, they’re still firmly supporting multiculturalism mark I.

From the BBC we get
Pair (of plumbers?) bailed in car killing probe
at para 10 we are informed
“For this reason, the incident has a racial element to it, however…we cannot confirm at this stage that this was racially-motivated.”

The local paper, the “Bury Times” omits the racial element completely.
It’s owned by the Guardian Media Group.

It’s the same with stories involving black kids shooting each other outside nightclubs, robbing people or whatever. The air terror plot really showed the discraceful apartheid on news being promulgated by Auntie Beeb, the only name and picutre they published for a long time was that of some English toerag who converted to Islam later in life.
Any crime involving black people shooting one another on the Beeb is reported in the vaguest terms, with the sentence “this is being investigated by Operation Trident detectives” at the end.
I notice Dr Arnaot’s website isn’t exactly quick with the news of her convictions either, nor does it seem to list details of her previous conviction for racially-aggravated assault. I’m sure it’s just a technical problem.

Will @ 8:46pm – sounds like you’re slating the Beeb for reporting facts instead of conjecture, which is a little unfair.

He went back to India to get married (arranged) and he sent us a wedding invitation.
Great bloke. Love to meet him again

I don’t think that anyone is a racicist whatever that means. It really means that we would be be much happier if they would all go back to their unstable societies from whence they came and let the indigineous folk in this country live peacefully and crimefree LIVES
