Sounds like here we go again to me.Remember 45 minutes to impact,re Iraq.Soldiers being captured to help Israel start a war with Lebanon. Now we have the pretext for a war with Iran.No surprise really, most people have expected this scenario for months.Governments lie and the present government seems to have this as a habitual habit.Read up on Gulf of Tonkin also.

Damn cunning those Jews, getting their soldiers captured, and eight of them killed, just so they could ‘start a war’ that according to the BBC and no doubt ‘John Thacker’, they lost.

More sympathy for the devil, the terrorist as victim from the BBC:

    Australian ‘Taleban’
Building a new life after Guantanamo Bay will be tough

Hard times ahead for detainee Hicks

Not a murmur about any of this:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hicks#Hicks.27s_position
In the documentary Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land, Terry Hicks reads out excerpts of David Hicks’s letters, in which Hicks says that his training in Pakistan and Afghanistan is designed to ensure “the Western-Jewish domination is finished, so we live under Muslim law again”. He denounces the plots of the Jews to divide Muslims and make them think poorly of Osama bin Laden and warns his father to ignore “the Jews’ propaganda war machine,” [34]

Hicks allegedly told fellow recruits at his training camp he wanted to “go back to Australia and rob and kill Jews”, “crash a plane into a building”, and “go out with that last big adrenalin rush.”

“He once told me in Afghanistan that if he were to go into a building of Jews with an automatic weapon or as a suicide bomber he would have to say something like ‘there is no god but Allah’ ect [sic] just so he could see the look of fear on their faces, before he takes them out,” writes former Camp X-ray inmate Abbasi. [21]

“I got to fire hundreds of bullets. Most Muslim countries impose hanging for civilians arming themselves for conflict. There are not many countries in the world where a tourist, according to his visa, can go to stay with the army and shoot across the border at its enemy, legally.” Hicks stated in a letter to his father whilst serving in Kashmir.

I think this Gordon Brown thing on the pensions is a bit rich.

It was clear this was what he was doing 10 years ago.

It was not hidden and it was reported at the time.

Has everyone gone deaf blind and amnesiac?

I nticed wih considerable distast the politicians of other parties queue up to condemn Brown’s ‘raiding’ of the pension funds.

Where were they 10 years ago when something could and should have been done about it?

I noticed with even more distaste that nobody was asked if they would restore the 1997 dividend tax situation.
They already knew the answer would be a resounding no.

Its the sort of criticism that is popular with student union types.
Anyone who actually knows anything about life will know if you reimpose something that will cost the treasury at least £6 billion a year that money has to be made up somewhere.

Perhaps the Dave & George Conservatives will make a promise on this, they are very fond of promising tax cuts and new expenditures if we follow all they have promised already then we would find ourselves begging at the IMF’s door in no time at all.

    Archduke
Thank you SO MUCH for the transcription.
I’ve been away all weekend, and haven’t had a chance to read or post.

Here’s the text of my official complaint to the BBC, which I just sent. I don’t expect any kind of response.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    The Now Show (30/3/07)

In a week when the families of 15 kidnapped British citizens are paraded on the state-run television station of an Islamo-Fascist regime; a week when the families of 15 kidnapped British servicemen wait nervously by the phone, unsure whether their loved ones will be just humiliated yet further, returned, imprisoned for life, tortured, or even executed; it is revealing to see the response of the British Broadcasting Corporation to this extraordinary situation.

Its response: the satirical warriors of The Now Show (30/3/07) swing into action to deliver a sickening example of the BBC’s current obsession with moral relativism.

After a completely unconvincing disclaimer, read in a flat unemotional monotone– a cynical attempt to cover his own back — we get a rant from Marcus Brigstock, informing us, the British public — his employers — that the kidnapping is our own fault.

According to Mr Brigstock, the actions of the Iranian government are not only completely understandable, but are morally indistinguishable from the actions of our government. He explains this is because of our policies on Iraq and Guantánamo Bay. To quote him: “… they’re as different as a peach and a nectarine.”

Even the European Union (so beloved by the BBC) has accepted that there is no justifiable excuse for the detention of our soldiers. But, never mind that, we are in the presence of superior moral beings: Marcus Brigstock and the BBC. All us silly ordinary people are just too stupid to understand a criminal act when they see one. We need moral exemplars like Marcus Brigstock; a man who only the previous week harangued us to do more to combat global warming and then jetted off to France to go snowboarding.

So just remember, tonight, at your self congratulatory dinner parties — when you slap each other on the back; pause for a moment over the organic free-trade coffee and think about the knife you’re sticking in YOUR country’s back.

    1) Violent demos outside the British embassy
And the BBC commenter tries to direct the argument that these demos are all because of what President Bush had to say last night. Get (Look at me I’m a Muslim) Harrison to play the victim card because she is British. (Kind of left out you are a Muslim girly) living in the den of Evil.

    2) Falkland war 25 years on.
And what does the commenter have to say. That the war mongering Maggie Thatcher embarked on such an adventure (against the wishes of the labour party they added) so as to divert public opinion away from her brand of government.

    3) Terrorist allowed home
Get a Paki BBC (Before anybody shouts racism, when I look in the mirror I see a paki looking back. I’m brown skinned) reporter to sing the praises of this so called innocent man. Then talk about compensation and how the rest of the so called British detainees are denied their Human rights.

As I said on a former thread Hicks is precisely the kind of anti-semitic thug realising his militaristic fantasies that in former times would certainly have been a Hitler supporting fascist. Had he joined an Aryan group (as he so easily might) the IBC would have been full of indignant fury against him. Instead, as a Muslim convert, we get this sickening sanitised ‘victimhood’ with not a murmer about his well documented anti-semitism.

Meanwhile there is nothing on the IBC news website about government measures to be taken against the rising wave of anti-semitism in Britain.

Phil Woolas (the Labour MP leading on it) was given a very short interview on this morning’s Sunday show at 7.15am (how many were listening to that?) and sounded embarrassingly grateful for some media exposure. Islamization down at the IBC clearly rules out ‘sympathy for the Joooos’.

PS: Apparently there were some ‘discussions’ of the report (that I didn’t catch) that gave rise to this interesting intervention on the IBCs religious (Jewish topic) notice board ‘ ‘The BBCs crocodile tears’ (worth reading).

I expect you will get a reply but it will be meaningless.

When complaining about the BBC output there is a dillema – If you complain to them directly they seem to ignore it or say they will “speak to the editors” or “programme makers to remind them of the BBC guidelines for such a contraversial topic” etc. . This approach certainly does not work – even if the programme or item is not repeated because it has broken some guidleline – the damage has already been done and it does not seem to stop others doing the same thing. If on the other hand the BBC receive no complaints then they justify their output by saying that no-one has complained. Maybe the best thing is to cc your emails to the BBC to an MP. The difficuly is that as archduke says no MP is going to rock the boat until they have the power to take on the BBC – but it will at least provide the ammunition for the future.

At a time when we have a captured British servicewoman paraded on television by a foreign power, we need politicians of courage and conviction to make a stand on the global stage. I am from Yorkshire and came down to London for the demo outside the Iranian Embassy to free the hostages. It seems that there are too many rules and regulations governing free speech in the UK. It is as if self censorship by the media, and in Britain the BBC in particular, is not enough. It seems to me that those in, and those that work for the establishment, don’t care a jot for those falsely incacerated sailors languishing in some Iranian jail cell.

The BBC is a pillar of the establishment and does not seem to me to be promoting the interested in aggressively promoting the rights of our sailors with enough passion and determination.

A few MSM journalists did turn up to the cancelled protest, but I didn’t notice any from the BBC. Were they not told or were they not intersted? Or was it a case of looking at the BBC record and assuming that they would not be interested and therefore not asking.

This was a demonstration to protect British citizens. All British citizens who value freedom and are able to attend should have done so. All British media organisations who value the freedom of the press should also have been there. It was their opportunity to make a stand for freedom and for liberty.

I am a member of the 910 Group / Center for Vigilant Freedom. I would urge all people who contribute to this blog to join up. We have a developing UK Group on the forum and it would be good, as far as I am concerned, to have an anti BBC voice over there. As far as I am concerned the BBC is anti-British and therefore I think that the word ‘British’ should be removed from the corporation’s title.

Why is it that the BBC is not demanding on its 24 hour news service on the hour every hour that the kidnapped sailors should be released.

My position on the kidnapped sailors issue is that far from been too hard on this matter, the Prime Minister is being to soft and accomodating. We should not be negotiating a release we should be demanding it.

How the Pro Terrorist BBC reports on Past British Victories.

    Brian (I despise the British) Hanrahan talks about the Falkland islands and how 25 years on he airs his views;

“After the war the islanders were, understandably, gloomy. They were grateful but also disgruntled about the way their lives had been messed up.”

Disgruntled BBC about what, that the Brits travelled 8000 miles in which to free their fellow country men. Or the fact that a bunch of spic generals decided to avert the economic crisis back at home by (seemingly) picking an easy fight. Big Mistake.

    But the real pacifistic statement to come from the BBC’s goon is this one;

“On the other side of the equation, after Iraq (twice), Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan, we as a country, have more experience of what it costs to use military force. So was it worth it? I suppose the answer depends on whether, knowing what we know now, we would do it again.”

Err Brian what you forgot to mention is the projection of British military might 8000 miles from home and defeating a well entrenched enemy who outnumbered them made the Russians and their allies think twice about invading Western Europe. In other words in a way it contributed to the fall of the Iron curtain.

Of course the BBC must ensure that the message that fighting for a cause is wrong unless of course that cause is Islam.

Re: Iran 15 and steyn’s article — I thought this para particularly apt –

So we live today in a world of one-way sovereignty: American, British and Iraqi forces in Iraq respect the Syrian and Iranian borders; the Syrians and Iranians do not respect the Iraqi border. Patrolling the Shatt al-Arab at a time of war, the Royal Navy operates under rules of engagement designed by distant fainthearts with an eye to the polite fictions of “international law”: If you’re in a ”warship,” you can’t wage war. If you’re in a ”destroyer,” don’t destroy anything. If you’re in a “frigate,” you’re frigging done for.

“What the hell happened to England? Why are they ashamed of their history and culture?”

It’s not just about Britain, it’s pretty much all Western countries, to some degree. According to the West Indian writer V. S. Naipaul, “[Islam] has had a calamitous effect on converted peoples. To be converted you have to destroy your past, destroy your history. You have to stamp on it, you have to say ‘my ancestral culture does not exist, it doesn’t matter.’” It is striking to notice that this is exactly what is going on in the West. When Muslims enter our lands, they thus discover that much of their work has already been done for them by Western Multiculturalists

Rise in radical Islam last straw for Lebanon’s Christians
By Michael Hirst in Beirut, Sunday Telegraph

“….more than 100,000 have submitted visa applications to foreign embassies….

….About 60,000 Christians have already left since last summer’s war between Israel and Hezbollah…”

Where’s ‘war crime’ Bowen’s outrage over this exodus of refugees from his beloved Lebanon.

Tumbleweed rolls along street, wind blows gently, crickets chirp softly … nope nothing, as I thought. He’s probably up in Syria kissing Assad’s Knob end.

It seems that the BBC actually said:

“The protesters, whose demonstration was allowed by the Iranian government, were chanting “death to Britain” and calling for the deportation of the British ambassador, she said.”

But for some reason this was taken out – Why? – it is a pivotal part of the piece.
