When I said “with no thanks from the likes of you”, GCooper, I was referring to you quite specifically, just in case that’s not clear – not the commentariat in general, many of whom do bring a great deal to the blog, many of whom do appreciate the efforts of those of us who run Biased BBC.
But you, GCooper, seem to think that you run Biased BBC. Or that at least you should. If only we were more grateful to you. Let’s make this absolutely clear for you – you are one long term spoilt, ungrateful, nitpicking little whinger that I really won’t miss, really, really won’t miss – so the sooner you take yourself somewhere else the happier I’ll be. Bye bye now, and mind the door doesn’t slap your a*** on the way out.
P.S. In response to you specific accusations, Slash is not me, but is a sometime regular contributor to the blog, who volunteered, without prompting from me, to do the necessary. Whilst I haven’t agreed with all of the deletions I’m glad that Slash did what was needed to reassert control over the comments here, hopefully to the benefit of all who care about standing up to the BBC. Seeya now.

It seems that BBC has reported that now..
But, the interesting thing is:
I have searched for Brazil win on Uruguay on BBC Site. I couldn’t find that until 11 July 2007, 06:17 GMT 07:17 UK.
The link here says:

Funny BBC

About 1,500 people have taken part in a rally against terrorism in Glasgow, organised by mosques and Islamic groups.
The Link given for the above news:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/highlands_and_islands/6272966.stm
On navigating through the link, I’ve found this story:
Teenager ‘threw lamb onto fire’
The incident with the lamb allegedly happened in May
Police have begun an investigation into reports of an incident where a lamb was thrown onto a bonfire by a teenager.
LOL. LOL. LOL.
1. There were about 400/500 who have taken part in a rally against terrorism. So, it is a Big LIE to say that there were 1500 people.
2. Out of 400/500, half were white non-muslims. So, it is just 200-250 out of 80,000 + muslims who took part in that rally.
3. The rally is not just about anti-terrorism; it is filled with anti-Us, anti-Israel slogans with Pro-palestinian stalls.
4. As pointed earlier, BBC couldn’t relate stories with proper links.

BBC=Biased Broadcasting Corpor, I was tempted to delete your comments because I didn’t get what the bias was supposed to be that you were referring to. Can you spell it out more clearly in future?

I think he was trying to say that the BBC had decided that a one-sided test match between two Asian nations was more important than the 3rd largest international football tournament in the World. I’m not sure I agree but I thought the point made was quite obvious. Sorry to disappoint you, Slash, I know you were so looking forward to pressing that delete button.

Personally I prefer a map to a photo of a severed head. The article uses the I word (Islamic) several times so I suppose this is an improvement on general BBC reporting.

Oh, is that all? Well, I doubt the BBC can be accused of generally preferring cricket to football!
