BBC BOURBONS
Reading Jay Hunt, the Controller of BBC1, describe Jonathan Ross as “responsible” made me think that the BBC hierarchy are like the Bourbons in that they learn nothing and forget nothing. How on earth can anyone describe the sniggering puerile cash grabbing Wossy as “responsible” when he has shown no evidence that he even understands the concept?
Jay Hunt? Isn’t his name just rhyming slang?

25 years ago I could see myself move from Germany (which I detest) to Britain… for good. Nowadays Britain is equally as bad, if not worse that Krautland.
All down to the EU or have people got dumbed down by the Leftie media? It’s probably a mixture of both.

If BBC were paid by performance …? Not that I’m sure how to measure it.
Press Association: Ross and Brand least popular comics
Of course, polls have their limits but it has to be embarrassing.

Inbreeding
The prevalent BBC inbreeding with the Labour Party, beginning in prior generations, had given many in the Corporation hereditary weaknesses and left the later generations prone to Marxism. In the BBC of 2008, it resulted in it being hypocritically partisan and “PC”, mentally retarded and disfigured with vile strutting creatures like Ross. A growing wave of public disgust and a few stories, miraculously broadcast despite the ‘message’, illuminating the depths of BBC/Left cross breeding brought odium on the Corporation. Consequently, the BBC of 2008 is known in broadcasting history as El Hechizado (“The Bewitched”) from the popular belief — to which the BBC itself subscribed — that its physical and mental disabilities were caused by “Tory sorcery” rather than the much more likely cause: centuries of pseudo-intellectual “inbreeding” within the liberal left (in which a tacit narrative and PC world view were commonly used to preserve the Lefts’ hold on its mendacious narrative).

Jonathon Ross is responsible: for the incremental normalisation of vulgarity and populist stupidity on the BBC; for the slow destruction of the once unmissable show that I still call Film 98; and for the fact that there is no general outrage when mediocrity is remunerated handsomely, beyond all proportion to its talents or worth.

What Ross thinks about anything or whether he is responsible or not is irrelevant. Ross merely accepted his £6m per year pay offer – we all would. The BBC was responsible for making it the offer, and with our money too.
All the decent programming on the BBC could probably be made for a licence fee of around £10. And we shouldn’t be forced even to buy that if we don’t want to.
As long as we give the BBC billions per year we’ll get dross like Ross, Radio 1, Casualty, Top Gear, Come Dancing, Spooks, Eastenders and Hole in the Wall manufactured for us whether we want it or not.

An incompetent woman at the BBC. What a surprise. So all these years of enforced feminism by the toadying male management of the BBC is now bringing about it’s downfall.
How very deserved.

Now then, would a chap named Eric Hunt, born in Rio de Janeiro, constitute an oxymoron?

Can I just say for a beeboid female she’s quite fit. Normally ‘wimmin’ at the BBC are fat, dumpy and have a bigger mostache than Peter Mandelson in the 1980’s.

I finally got around to reading this, and I have to say I think it’s hilarious that Jay Hunt is actually insulting Ross with her defense.
She says that Ross is “responsible” because, not only is he “contrite”, but ‘I genuinely think Jonathan had reason to expect that the BBC compliance processes would detect a point where he had overstepped the mark.’
In other words, Ross is a stupid, crass, irresponsible monkey, and it’s up to the BBC organ grinder to give a yank on the leash when necessary. How Hunt thinks this is a respectable defense is beyond me.
What’s so funny is that it’s the correct explanation for what happened.

Looking at her picture she reminds of the sort of selective feminism that most women in powerful jobs in the UK swear by. A bottle blonde with a shameless blingy rock on her wedding finger and crappy low cut tops from miss selfridges who would scream sexual harrasment if you so much as opened a door for her.
If that’s what passes for ‘fit’ in the halls of the BBC I thank Christ Im not a middle class liberal.

If you go to ‘Have Your Say’ on the BBC website, it says ‘No Swearing’. So we cannot put in writing the things that Ross says on TV all the time?
Hypocrites.
The moderators are looking for more than swearing.
Like was mentioned in the Newsnight blog below, their moderators are like that character in ‘1984’ who sits there cutting bits out of the newspapers.
