You really must hone those reading skills. Did I suggest he was a Moslem?
Let’s try again, shall we? What I wrote was:”…they are Labour supporters and their presence placates Moslem opinions (or so the dhimmis at the BBC like to believe).”
Vaz is the MP for Leicester East – one of the cities this country has handed over to immigrants – most of whom are Moslems. They may hate his religion, but they vote for the oleaginous lawyer – hence the BBC’s refusal to expose him for what he is.

One of the things that has puzzled me over the years I have heard Vaz shilling for one or another Islamist cause, e.g. the disgraceful ban on Geert Wilders, is that Vaz’s Leicester East constituency is not a Muslim stronghold.
Indeed, Muslims only account for 10% of his voters, while Hindus account for 30% and Sikhs a further 6%.
Given the distaste many Hindus and Sikhs often have for some aspects of Islam, Vaz ought to be careful.

Credit where credit’s due: I emailed them to make them aware of this, and received a reply this morning, “Thank you for reminding us of this – we have amended our article”. Success, and – for once – thanks to the BBC!

I appreciate that she’s sick and congratulate her on her marriage as much as I can for someone I’ve never met. Still isn’t the fuss over Jade Goody’s wedding something for the celebrity gossip mags rather than the BBC?

Another expose of the BBCs AGW bias.
“It was another bad week for the “warmists”, now more desperate than ever to whip up alarm over an overheating planet. It began last weekend with the BBC leading its bulletins on the news that a “leading climate scientist” in America, Professor Chris Field, had warned that “the severity of global warming over the next century will be much worse than previously believed”. Future temperatures “will be beyond anything predicted”, he told a Chicago conference. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) had “seriously underestimated the size of the problem”.
The puzzle as to why the BBC should make this the main news of the day only deepened when it emerged that Prof Field was not a climate scientist at all but an evolutionary biologist. To promote its cause the BBC website even posted a video explaining how warming would be made worse by “negative feedback”. This scientific howler provoked much amusement and derision on expert US blogs, such as Anthony Watts’s Watts Up With That • since “negative feedback” would lower temperatures rather than raise them. The BBC soon pulled its video. ”

Some dreadful Labour sock puppet (Professor Justin Fisher, I think) on The Westminster Hour spouting on and on that Jacqui Smith must ‘be allowed to do her job’ (used repeatedly, that phrase) and to slag off the Tories taking money from Lord Ashcroft without a single countervailing voice allowed. Astonishing.

Of course, the BBC hasn’t a clue who the perpetrators of the Cairo bomb killing are:
“Tourists hit by Cairo bomb blast”
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7904731.stm
There is not even any historical background provided by the BBC to indicate the significant role played by Islamic jihadists in Egypt.
But, for the BBC’s edification, the ‘Telegraph’ has this:
“Cairo market blast: Bombers ‘targeted Western tourists'”
[Extract]
“This market suffered a bomb attack in 2005, which killed two tourists and wounded another eighteen. In the same year, explosions in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh claimed more than 60 lives.
“Overall, however, Egypt’s security forces had been able to claim some success against the terrorist threat. During the 1990s, two extremist groups fought to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak’s regime and they made large areas, especially in the southern regions of Upper Egypt, almost ungovernable. Gama’a Islamiya and al-Jihad waged an Islamist insurgency which claimed thousands of lives and saw the murder of 62 European tourists at a temple near Luxor in 1997.
“Since then, terrorist attacks have been far less frequent. Tourism is the central pillar of the country’s economy and so many livelihoods depend on the presence of foreign visitors that popular support for violent extremism is low.
“However, Egypt has a special connection with the brand of Sunni fundamentalism championed by al-Qaeda. Many of the intellectual fathers of this movement were Egyptians, including Ayman al-Zawahiri, the unofficial deputy to Osama bin Laden. Others, notably Sayyid Imam al-Sharif, now a prisoner in Cairo’s Tora prison and better known as Dr Fadl, have recanted their support for terrorism.”

Pope John Paul II – read the comments.
Not an area of general BBC bias though. Have you ever heard of a beeboid turning down a trip? 🙂
The BBC is careful not to blame the Islamists because the culprits may be renegade Catholics 🙂

Is there a Mark Regev fan club I can join?
The Israelli spokesman did a great job of destroying the TOADY comrades ridiculous conflations and pro hamas drivel! The IDF has never denied using WP, the TOADY droid must have been getting his questions direct from hamas!
The BBCs resident islamist Aleem Macdrool was his usual grossly biased and dishonest self peddling the hamas lies and propaganda as actual fact, he would thrive at hamas TV, the lying scumbag should have been taken off the airwaves months ago!
What is the BBC trust doing while a lying islamist sympathiser spreads his lies, at what point will they do their job and deny him and his jew hating islamist chums a world media platform?

CAIRO bomb murder
The BBC is keen to propagandise ONLY the views of ‘a lawyer for Islamic extremists’, who comes up with excuses for the likely Islamic jihadists:
“Suspects detained in Cairo blast”

Stefan,
THERE IS NOT CREDIT! Calling HM the Queen the UK Queen is INEXCUSABLE for the BBC!
Honestly, who the hell doesnt know the Queen is also the Queen of Australia?
That level of ignorance is inexcusable, especially when its coming from Al Beeb!

I agree with Mailman. It is simply appalling ignorance, not only that the BBC “journalist” who wrote the article refers to her as the UK Queen, but that none of the editorial checks and quality control systems within the BBC picked up this crass error.
