I see that Vince Cable has once more been given great publicity from the BBC. They love him, don’t they? And all the time – the cold wind of being ignored blows over Conservative George Osbourne and even Ken Clark. One could be forgiven for thinking Vince Cable was Chancellor of the Exchequer given the scale and positive spin to the coverage he is afforded.

Prediction – VC/ Clegg exposure a pre-curser to next general election and bigging up of tactical vote stories to ‘keep the tories out’
It is a strange situation that the liberals have got themseleves into . Everyone has heard of Vince Cable, not many know who Nick Clegg is.
The BBC seem to use Vince Cable as some sort of “independent expert” which he clearly isn’t.

The BBC has him up against Ayn Rand. No fair guessing which one comes out looking better.
Cable is a prat. He claims that nobody but he foretold the credit crunch etc.
Well, I predicted the credit crunch and house market collapse 3 years ago. My prediction for early 2009 was a 25% average drop in prices.

just what is the circulation of the Guardian?
actually it’s not to be sneezed at.
The Guardian claims dead tree daily sales of almost 350,000 copies, yielding an average daily readership of 1,264,000 of the print edition.
But the Guardian has put real effort into its online presence and boasts 25 million unique users monthly, of which 10,221,468 are in UK.
The Guardian says it has the highest proportion of ABC1 middle class type readers. I don’t know what proportion of the UK working age population are uni grads – about 20-25%??? – the Guardian probably accounts for a healthy slice of them.
It certainly accounts for most of the currently ruling class of public-sector apparatchicks and statist commissars and it TOTALLY sets the agenda for the beeboids.
So we would be wise to take this org very seriously and not underestimate it.

Mr Vance has made a number of very polite requests to avoid expletives. It would be a great shame if he had to start banning people.
Funny thing is I can’t find any statements from Cable complaining about the light touch regulation from say 10 years ago.
Cable clearly has a diseased brain. He can’t remember what he says from one day to the next.
