SUNDAY EVENING…

So, one day after D-day and the site is still here and I have been closely following your comments. I want to let you know that we will try and follow up all your positive and thoughtful suggestions, wherever this is possible.

There are a few things that I have decided ARE staying on blog – such as the Twitter bar. The reason is that this enables me to post a quick comment which may be on the BBC whenever I hear or see it. If some don’t like this, tough. Furthermore, it may be that the blogger platform is imperfect but trust me there is no such thing as a perfect platform.

Some people have commented regarding the siting of A Tangled Web and All Seeing Eye at the top of this site. I would simply point out the huge behind the scenes work that Geoff from the Eye makes to this site (Ever wondered who makes the weekly Question Time session run smoothly) and just like ATW he also picks up on BBC related issues – so both blogs are staying, linked here – to be augmented with others. The broader blogroll will also develop. This is WORK IN PROGRESS – but progress it is. So my thanks to all who come here – hope the shock of the new is now wearing off – and from tomorrow on I only want to talk about the lousy BBC and the bias it exudes. Hope you agree!

Laban has two other blogs and contributes to biased bbc, Geoff is not a contributer here, but he help you so his blog is linked? Your blog is linked. Your twitterings (rants) are linked, but ed’s blog is not linked?

Seem odd… no not really when one comes to think of it. There is a massive ego involved.

All you have contributed to this site is a massive ego and imposed your personality upon it, now in cahoots with your side kick you have both managed to mess up years and years of archives. I wonder is that because you weren’t in them?

Natalie’s blog isn’t linked either, and I always enjoy reading it. Why isn’t it linked?

Is it only what passes the judgement of David Vance that gets linked here?

Quite obviously this is his blog it is not about bias at the beeb, it’s about what an Irish man thinks is bias at the beeb.

I don’t think there should be links to ANY other blog right at the top.

And I still think the Twitrter stuff is a dustraction – and it has the terrible effect on many browsers of pushing the REAL content way down off the page. (The current Twitterings, for example, are about 11 inches from top to bottom in the left column. Add in the very deep banner at the top (maybe an inch or so too deep?) plus the list of contributors – and the totall effect is that no-onew using a laptop sees any topic headings on the screen when they open the site. Probably the same effect on normal desktop PCs.

If David wants to post a quick comment about the BBC rather than making a formal post – what’s wrong with the comments section ? I am afraid the inclusion of the 11inch-deep Twitter stuff weakens the design of the blog.

    ………….

The biased BBC Label Cloud at the right hand side is OK – but the comments earlier about bringing up the statements by eg Antony Jay would be beneficial.

Can’t you comment in the general comment thread. I really don’t want to know what your followers are saying to you, or if you are looking at Buckingham palace. I look at it nearly every day, get over it, or do you not get out much.

Take it off here and stick it on your own blog.

    Cheers Anonymous.

We’ll be making sure no “anonymous” comments get shown here. Oh – and I’m not Irish. I know who you are pal, so sling your hook, you are an irrelevance here, away off to where you can gain access.

    John A,

Believe it or not I am not always sitting at a PC from which I can post. Twitter stays.

Laban, Natalie’s and other valued Biased BBC contributors will be linked when we get time.

Yes good point David. I often look at B-BBC from my Blackberry or other PDA.

David. Have you thought about actually creating a B-BBC Twitter account? I know you have your own that I follow, but I think a B-BBC one would be more appropriate.

Some people may think the site is not ideal – to me it doesn’t matter – what does matter is that the site exists. Lets concentrate on the dangerous misinformation and propaganda put out daily by the friends of anyone anti-democratic BBC.

The fact remains – every time I open the site – I see nil headings on screen about current BBC bias.

If Twitter has to stay – even though most of it is irrelevant – it should be repositioned so that it does not force the real content of the site right off the screen.
