Well, the BBC may be giving us lots of coverage on the situation in Iran but it’s interesting to see how they spin it! Reading this report, it seems the main points to consider are that this might be bad for Obama whilst playing into the hands of Israel. What a curious way of looking at it!

The BBC's report says that:
The poll, conducted three weeks before the vote, indicated that Mr Ahmadinejad would win by a ratio of 2:1, slightly higher than the actual declared outcome.
Now, before I again call the BBC a lying shower of sh*t, can someone link to the BBC stating that the turnout was 85% and not the abstention rate. Because 2/3 of 15%is the kind of mandate that Gordon Brown has. BTW, both Mousavi and Ahmadinejad are scum and if the regime feels endangered, the bullets will fly.

David Vance,
Nothing is ever bad for The Obamessiah. The New York Times – a paper which sold what little soul it had left to help enable His Ascension – has already said that He's going to continue doing the same thing He's been doing regarding Iran: talk.
Sure, He sent out Bumbling Joe Biden to express concern over the election, but little else. The fact that the White House sent out the VP as the face of the Administration on such an important international issue shows two things. On one level, this shows that all those Administration geniuses don't have much of a plan, cannot think on their feet, and put all their eggs in Mousavi's basket. More importantly, this is evidence that The Obamessiah is actually a lightweight. A more cynical person like myself would say that He actually doesn't care much about all this international stuff, and that He really only cares about advancing the Socialist, Chavez-like agenda. Frowning at the mullahs isn't worth His time. He gave Sermon from Cairo already – what more do we want?

"He won some 62.6% of the vote in an election marked by a high turnout of 85%, official figures show."

Someone commented on a previous thread on the Editors' Blog Stop the blocking now, re the Iranian government blocking of the courageous and impartial BBC.
Now have a look at the comments to this blog entry, most of which say: 'This comment was removed because the moderators found it broke the House Rules'

Absolutely most of them.
I don't think the Beeb grasps the irony of it.

Ah, but one is state-controlled suppression of free speech, and the other is, er, different. Or should I say, 'unique'.

The report states pretty flatly that the result makes Obama's Iranian policy pretty much a basket case – which is what you've been saying all along isn't it?
It also implies that Israel's "hardline government" has pretty much the right idea on where the real threat lies, although that seems to be a bit more grudgingly admitted.
Where's the bias?

More Beeb liberal usage of the word conservative to describe Iranian fascist wackjobs. According to them probably Himmler would have been a wet conservative.
May I suggest we all now term Stalin and Castro etc as "Labour supporters" and see how the cap fits.

OT I know, but I think you might want to publicize this.

Richard Dale is trying to help the Iranians crash government websites.
I hope you and your readers will take a look and maybe spread the word.
This is one in the server for Amahdidinnerjacket and his girl-hurting pig-fuckers.
Pardon my Spartan.

Look at the changes to this story of the BBC;
http://www.newssniffer.co.uk/articles/227445/diff/1/2
So first it is Mousavi "Iran poll loser"
No quotation marks in this story so there is no doubt that Mousavi is a loser.
It seems like the BBC chooses always the undemocratic side; The tamil tigers, the Farc, the Sadr militia, Hamas etc. etc.
The BBC and their love of totalarian dictatorship and their hate of democracy. It is what they do.

You'd have a point David, if this was the only article covering the story. Muppet.
The idea that the BBC is biased in favour of Ahmadinejad and that the're involved in some kind of mutual conspiracy is stretching it beyond even the realms of your paranoid mind. Funny how the Iranaian regime don't want the BBC broadcasting there and regularly try to block it. Inexplicable eh?

Yes, or the side which David Vance opposes, funny that?

I am not David. But glad that you agree that the BBC has taken sides with the tamil tigers, Farc, Hamas and the Sadr militia.

Presstv.ir has just reported that the Tehran Correspondent for the BBC, John Leyne, has been expelled with immediate efect. They quote:-
Iranian officials have accused Leyne of "dispatching fabricated news and reports, ignoring neutrality in news, supporting rioters and trampling the Iranian nation's rights", the report added.
Sounds like a typical BBC employee to me!
Also, check out John Leyne's bio @

Thanks Anonymour.
I especially liked this bit:
"He was in Israel for the early part of the current intifada, witnessing the attack on two Israeli soldiers in Ramallah, which played a decisive role in stalling the peace process."
That naughty old 'attack' huh? Just up and stalled the peace process like leaves on the train track.
Best we find where these attacks live and stop them with the stalling already

Except for that last part, it sounds pretty much like what I've been saying about him for the last week.
