Today marks the 25th anniversary of the bombing of the Grand Hotel in Brighton by the Irish terrorist group the INLA. (Good article here by Lord Tebbit, btw for those who care to read)
Yesterday, the BBC covered the news that this terror group was “renouncing violence” just in time for Hillary Clinton’s arrival in Northern Ireland. Now I am glad when any terror group ceases to kill and maim BUT isn’t it odd that the BBC does not report the allegations that the INLA claims it will be in receipt of £7 million from the British Government for graciously agreeing not to kill us?
Hate to be a pedant but the Grand Hotel Bombing was the work of the provos not the INLA. You may be mistaking the Brighton bombing with the Droppin well atrocity by the INLA. Either way still a case of BBC bias but you got the wrong republicans on this occasion.

I’m sure you’re correct about the different organisations of thugs in NI. It is though the distinction without a difference that gave East Germany a ruling “coalition” of the Peasant’s Party and the Socialist Unity Party. They are all part of the same crowd of criminals. Further, neither we nor the BBC should be confusing ourselves or the listening public by believing for one moment the politicians’ lies to the effect that the ones currently in the tent pissing out are different from the ones currently outside the tent pissing in.
Interesting that on 6 o’clock news BBC gives air time to Sir Antony Berry’s daughter, the lady who has taken up dialogue with the man responsible.
Forgiveness plays a large emphasis on the report. Fair enough as a Christian, I accept that this is important to people to get on with their lives and I dont judge Ms Berry as a result.
However it is obvious to those who follow the BBC’s narrative, that Christianity and Christian values are only valid and given air time when giving succour to the BBC’s fellow marxist travellers. In this case the IRA. More often than not to Islamofascism.
Christianity to the BBC is only acceptable as a means of giving ground to our enemies. It is seen as a method of pacification, in this case to terrorists, but never acceptable in real terms unless it is seen as a weak vapid entity.
That is an excelent piece by Lord Tebbit – but he is of the old school, you know the patriot who has some backbone. Not the limp wristed “politicians” (not leaders) we have today.
