BBC ignores Labour’s continuing mass immigration.

BBC has apparently decided not to report Labour’s ‘policy’ of mass immigration into England, during the run-in to the General Election:

    BBC, Mr.Blair and Iraq Inquiry.

BBC Radio 5 is covering ex-PM Tony Blair, live at the Iraq Inquiry.

At a break in proceedings, Radio 5 rightly pointed out how often Mr. Blair used the phrase ‘9/11’ to explain his thinking on Iraq, and how Mr. Blair saw the impact of 9’11 as being global.

But the BBC then showed its political priorities by giving propaganda space to the ‘rent-a-mob’ couple of hundred people outside who seem to support Islamic jihad Hamas.

    ‘Telegraph’ has ongoing coverage:

Funny.  It’s some sort of bizarre conflation of emotional Puritansim and proto-Marxism.

*Sigh*.  I just heard an ad on the World Service for an upcoming BBC series of reports entitled “Opposing Obama”.  No points for guessing how it was introduced.

Dark, brooding music, ominous intoning of the title, sound bite of a white, Southern male – “Obama has dun nuthin’ that aahh lahk” – Female Beeboid voiceover using the tone normally reserved for reporting on danger and tragedy reading out the intro “People who oppose Barack Obama and all he stands for”.  Gosh, BBC, I wonder what perspective you people have?

A hit job in the making on the BBC, beginning Feb. 1.  Can’t wait.

If that’s a hit job David, then I guess you could call this target practice?

This is just about the most biased, condescending piece of ‘reporting’ I have ever seen.

This is exactly what I was talking about yesterday regarding the BBC’s reporting on the US health care issue.  Across the spectrum of BBC broadcasting, every single Beeboid approaches this as if ObamaCare is correct, and that those who oppose it are wrong, controlled by nefarious interests, racist, etc.  In other words, opposed to what’s “in our best interests”.

The BBC has no credibility when it comes to reporting on anything in the US.  I will continue to call them liars and propagandists.

Anybody know why the BBC have been reporting all day that a Labour MP has been let off repaying £18,000 whereas Ann Cryer has been let off repaying “a considerable sum”?

Why is it one rule for Labour?

    Astonishing piece of prop-obama here:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8474611.stm

    entitled

“Why do people often vote against their own interests? ”

    beginning with:
“The Republicans’ shock victory in the election for the US Senate seat in Massachusetts meant the Democrats lost their supermajority in the Senate. This makes it even harder for the Obama administration to get healthcare reform passed in the US.
Political scientist Dr David Runciman looks at why is there often such deep opposition to reforms that appear to be of obvious benefit to voters.”

In other words ‘Here at the BBC we are pathologically left-wing, and we won’t even pretend to be balanced, because this is happening in the US, and everyone knows Obama is the saviour, so why should we make a pretence at balance’

With a national tax-funded broadcaster like this, is it any wonder the ‘Conservative’ party have lurched to the left?

More wonderful news from Venezuela that the BBC doesn’t want you to know about:

Check out especially the last slide, and then ask yourselves why the BBC doesn’t feel the need to report this.

The BBC won’t report on their beloved Hugo Chavez bashing skulls in Venezuela, but they will go the extra mile and make a video report about police in Davos using a water cannon on protesters.  Oh, the humanity. One is worth reporting, the other isn’t.

And the Davos report is on the front News page.  The political priorities of the BBC News Online editors are clear for all to see.  Shame.

Oh, dear.  More typically bigoted, backwards, puritanical United Statesians blocking gay rights.

Hawaii nixes same-sex civil unions bill

Shocking.  Not even letting gays have basic legal human rights that the rest of us have.  And it’s an AP feed, so the Beeboids get this information just like every other news outfit.

Hawaii lawmakers declined to vote Friday on a bill that would have allowed same-sex civil unions, effectively doing away with the measure.
State House leaders said a narrow majority of representatives would have voted for civil unions, but they decided to indefinitely postpone a decision on whether to grant gay and lesbian couples the same rights and benefits the state provides to married couples.
Civil union supporters in the crowded House gallery on Friday shouted, “Shame on you!” while opponents cheered.
“It’s an election year, and they’re more concerned about keeping their seats than doing what’s right,” said Stephen Nagle of Kaaawa, wearing a rainbow lei in support of civil unions.

So the Hawaiian legislators are bowing to pressure from their ignorant, probably Evangelical Christian, homophobic citizens, right?  The BBC will report this in due course, seeing as how they’ve recently come under scrutiny for their handling of homosexual issues, right?

Yeah, that must be it.  Seeing as how the Hawaii House of Representatives is nearly 90% Democrat, all those Dem pols must be worried that the hordes of nasty, white Republican voters in Hawaii will turn them out in November, right?

Er, no.  Less than one third of voters in Hawaii are Caucasian, and Democrat voters outnumber Republicans by about 10 to 1.  So it must be all those Asian and Polynesian Democrats who are the homophobes.  Oops.  Don’t tell the BBC.  It’s only fair, as they wouldn’t tell you, either.

I’m beginning to think the complainers are right:  the BBC’s record of handling homosexual issues is appalling and needs sorting out.

Here’s an amusing take on the media’s attitude towards those of us who are against ObamaCare.  Naturally, this applies to the BBC as well, as their attitude matches up exactly with that of the mainstream Leftoid US media.
