Just watching Nicky Campbell bigging up Paganism and Islam on his truly grotesque “Big Question” programme, Christianity is painted by Nicky as the great evil and the brave pagans and Islamists out there are fighting for our freedoms. Amazing. Nicky also took the opportunity to inform the audience that George W Bush was wanting to dig up “the whole of Alaska for oil”. Fair and balanced?

I wonder how long it would’ve taken ol’ George to dig up 663,000 square miles of land? He’d’ve needed a mighty big spade for that. Mighty big. Still, if a deluded, uneducated, lefty jerkoff like Nicky Campbell can rationalise it, then I suppose it can’t be impossible.

I wish he did dig it up we could bury 20,000 beeboids there.

Sorry, but I cannot respond with anything but to say that “Nicky” is a stupid, ignorant lying BASTARD.
For starters more than 75% of Alaskans support exploration and production on ANWR in the Coastal Plain.
The 19-million-acre Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) lies in the northeast corner of Alaska which is the US’s biggest state at 663,268 sq mi which is about 36 MILLION acres.
The Coastal Plain area comprises 1.5 million acres; and it is estimated to hold billions of barrels of recoverable oil and trillions of cubic feet of recoverable gas.
Of these 1.5 million acres of the Coastal Plain, less than 2000 acres would be affected by development.
That is 2000 out of 36 MILLION.
To put this in perspective Heathrow Airport is reported as 1200 hectares which is 120,000 acres.

Personally I don’t believe in the supernatural. Obviously not all religious dogmas are equally as dangerous, However, I find it funny how some who criticise Islam don’t see how there own beliefs in a man in the sky weaken their position. Well in my eyes and in the eyes of millions in the UK who have either trown it off or never been eexposed to religious indoctrination in the first place.
Nicky Cambell (Christian) for me is one of the few bbc presenters who can curb his own bias suficiently to allow him to ask questions that others won’t.
