On a day when all political programmes are bound to be obscured by a certain televised debate between somebody who is shortly going to stop being Prime Minister, somebody who is about to start being Prime Minister, and somebody else; Question Time this week comes from London.
On the panel this week we have a six-pack of Ed Miliband, Michael Gove, David Laws, Nigel Farage Universal-Shami Chakrabarti and John Sergeant.
For those who wish to take part in the Biased-BBC Buzzword Bingo, we will be playing by the “Election Slogan Rules” meaning that anyone with “Fire Up The Quattro“, “Death Tax“, “Back to the 80’s” and “Job Tax” on a diagonal line should play their Jokers early. Special prizes will be awarded for blasts from the past such as these 100 year old Tory ones “Free Trade Victim“, “Build a Navy“, “Hurrah For Tariff Reform” and “The Lords Trust The People!“

My name is Chakrabarti, and I still think that the main issue at the British General Election should be the ending of the imprisonment of Islamic jihad suspects at Guantanamo. (The routine and massive persecution of Christians by Muslims around the world is a different issue, and I’m sure that my chums at the BBC will tell you the same.)
Never before have I witnessed a controlled media trying so desperately to force it’s short-list of “leaders” into the minds of such a disinterested, disgusted and disenfranchised electorate.

MY name is Chakrabarti, I think that every single person in the UK has borrowed too much and lived far beyond their means because if I have then everyone must have. I refuse to believe that there could be any hard working people that have lived within their means and who will soon pay the price for our excesses. Are you with me? how one sided and patronising john sergeant was. i used to think of him as a avuncular harmless type but he is really the poster boy of and embodies the insidious bbc bias. how he thought gorgon brown had done well and come out well is beyond me.
they could not wait to silence gove and farage. and shammy chakrabarti , god does she live in the real world. not everyone has racked up debts.
Is Nick Griffin appearing on QT in the run up to the election?
If not, why not?
He represents a tiny, 8,000 strong organisation with obsessive minority views which most people have no interest in at all.
So does Chakrabati, and she appears all the time.
At least Griffin is standing for election.
