GERRY ADAMS – KING OF PEACE.

Great to see that BBC Northern Ireland have been showing a programme called “Adams” tonight – plotting the “path to peace” chartered by Grizzly Adams. Yes, we discover tree-loving Gerry is a deep thinker who reached out to his enemies in order that we may all live in peace. Except, that is, for all those thousands murdered by the cut-throat gang of terrorists he commanded. Next week – Hitler – Champion of the Oppressed?

The way the BBC’s Israel coverage has been going for the last 15-20 years one wouldn’t be suprised to find sympathetic coverage for Hitler coming up soon.  Terrorists and tyrants.  They’re all the rage at the BBC now.

Left-wing terrorists and tyrants are all the rage at the BBC. Frankly I’m waiting for Che Guevarra to replace the globe on BBC news. Along with other student union icons.

once again – i think this is going to make me very unpopular on this site

but i cant help that this posting was less about BBC bias and more about the posters dislike of Gerry Adams and what he stands for.

as i have said before – this site walks a very fine line between reporting BBC bias and just moaning about subjects it does not approve of. most of the time its gets it right. especially about climate change and the treatment of israel. but when it comes to northern ireland politics. i feel as an observer the line becomes much more blurred.

There may be an element of politics here,  – but if you look at the BBCs output, they invariably side with the terrorists. This is not new it has been going on for years.

      “Mr. Conway

During the course of her busy day, will my right hon. Friend take time to speak to the chairman of the anti-British Broadcasting Corporation about the “Panorama” programme that was screened last night, which showed a Sinn Fein spokesman, with an actor’s voice dubbed over, attempting—pathetically—to justify the murders of Light Infantry soldiers last year? Will my right hon. Friend ask the chairman of the BBC when the widows and children of those murdered are likely to get a right of reply?

      The Prime Minister(Margeret Thatcher)

My hon. Friend has made his own point effectively and I have no doubt that it will be noticed in the appropriate quarters. I well remember the letter that I received from the mother of a soldier who has been murdered. Referring to the electronic media she stated:

“They talk about the freedom of the press and the media. Where is freedom of my son?”

Kevin – you must speak as you find. There may well be some political angle to the post, but you should look at the BBC output as a whole. They invariably side with terrorists (especially anti-British or anti-Isreali ones). They used to be anti – American until there candidate won.

The BBC has years of form on justifying terrorists.

John Smith Adams is not a member of dail eireann, he is an MLA/MP/and Sinn Fein party president, he is not a triple jobber but a double one, collecting a salary for MLA and MP.

Kevin Law, I may not like Adams but like most of what he stands for. The programme was rubbish, I invite you to watch it on the iplayer to see for your self. It was total adulation, with no lights shone in dark corners.
