Question Time LiveBlog 15th July 2010

Question Time tonight comes from Bexhill-on-Sea; famous for staging the UK’s first ever motor race and the discovery of the world’s oldest spider web encased in amber. The constituency of Bexhill and Battle is represented by Greg Barker (C)

On the panel we have Francis MaudeAndy Burnham, George Galloway, Nick Ferrari and self-confessed binge-drinking druggie slapper Sally Bercow.

For those playing the Buzzword Bingo, we will be using the Educashun Educashun Educashun Rulez which means that ‘graduate tax’, ‘school building plans’ and ‘two year degree‘ are worth double BiasPoints. Any references to Ken Clarke win a BBC Hidden Agenda bonus turn, and a successful pairing of Raoul Moat with Thatcher is an instant champagne win. Nothing said by Sally Bercow will be valid for point scoring purposes if she is visibly under the influence.

As usual the LiveBlog will also cover the entertainingly awful This Week, which sees the scary duo of Michael Portillo and Ed “Blinky” Balls partnered on the Sofa Of Despair.

David Vance, TheEye and David Mosque will be taking an axe to red-tape here from 10:30pm.

      Roland,

I was just about to post the same thing.  Why gorgeous George ?  He represents no-one, is a corrupt nutcase and crawls to all extremists , muslim or non-muslim.
Oh, just answered my own question. He ticks all the BBC boxes.

BBC self righteous East, for Islamic ethics and manipulation of hard left propaganda.

      Obviously.

I am appalled by that panel. Why are the BBC giving airtime to two people who failed to get themselves elected in May’s elections? It is amazing how they now seem unable to include an elected Conservative and Liberal Democrat on the same panel but if you are an unlected leftie you are welcome. But no doubt they will include plenty of unlected UKIP, English Democrat and BNP candidates in the weeks ahead.

  3. George R says:

To set the scene, BBC TV News has just had on BBC Welsh windbag, Huw Edwards, putting leading questions to one white student and two non-white students on the graduate tax (at about 17:30 on, today).

So where is the controvesy on Galloways apperence. Where are the protests?  How many people refused to debate with him?

This is the man who sided with our enemies.  Can people really refuse to debate with Nick Griffin yet they will sit down with  this nasty piece of work? The conservative and labour parties should have refused to go on any programme with this traitor. But they seem to hold the ethics of the BBC,.

I definately will not watch this piece of garbage. Instead of blogging it – we should refuse to add to their audience figures.

  6. Johnny Norfolk says:

How does theBBC select the audience?

How does the BBC select the questions ?

What is the rules for selecting the panel members ?

Its about time they explained their system as its always leftie biased.

The whole thing must be rigged if they do not explain all this.

I live in Bexhill and almost everyone here is Tory, it’s a Tory stronghold …. …. SOMEHOW the BBC have managed to round up all 100 non-tories and ram them in one space ….. amazing.

Question Time is a joke, totally biased. 4 Left vs 1 centre right, which does not represent the view of the country. Rhetoric followed by total BS and from the picked audience. I am so angry to watch this rubbish, please tell me I’m not alone

      Sam,

I gave up watching it months ago.  It is a farce and a parody of itself.  Means I sleep better on Thursday nights too !

    • Mark P says:

No you’re not alone Sam. I’m the same as Grant on this one. I too gave up watching a long time ago due to the anger it induced. The Griffin show was the nail in the coffin although I did watch Farage’s staged harranging, some months later, too. Nowadays I simply refuse to hand over the propaganda tax to such plundering filth.

I gave up with QT ages ago, it’s no longer relevant as is the BBC.
