Warmists have been at it for at least a decade: publishing dire predictions that heatwaves are going to kill us by thousand, we’ll all drop like flies as the mercury rises. Here’s CNN in 2000. And here’s the BBC yesterday. Note the similarities, the same strident language, the same ‘we are all doomed’ rhetoric. Like a cracked record.. When I see this statistical hogwash – which comes from the school where if you pay people to find a problem, they will find it – I ask if heat is such a problem, why do Brits flock to Greece and Florida and Spain every year? And why does California continue to grow? Is it so those involved will increase their chance of a heart attack? Er, I don’t think so.
WE’RE DOOMED!

Nobody – certainly not the BBC – has the guts to declare the real threat to the future of civilisation in the coming decades – the population growth that’s exploding in the poorest parts of Africa and the Third World in general and the Muslim world in particular.
All the Thirld World should have enforced sterilization programmes. Without exception.

The only theory even more bogus, discredited & debunked than man-made global warming is the eugenics and population explosion theory.
History shows as countries become more wealthy and better educated, populations stabilise and even decline. So the real enemy is poverty – which, of course, is exactly what proposed CO2 taxes will produce – more poverty – as developing countries have their economic growth stunted by posturing politicians and eco-facists diverting $Trillions to corrupt subsidy farmers running green non-energy scams.

Well your argument rests on countries becoming wealthier and their populations stabilising, when the poorest are growing at such a rate that economic growth is negated by population growth. Of course if population growth exceeds economic growth, per capita incomes would decline.
If it wasn’t for external aid, some countries (Somalia comes to mind) would long ago have been confronted by Malthusian catstrophe and population growth halted and reversed by starvation.
The real issue is whether the poorest and least developed countries will be able to become wealthy enough for their populations to stabilise in a reasonable time period. I rather doubt it myself.

No one really takes any notice of the mongs at the BBC on this subject now, Harratwat and co are just seen as human jokes.

Actually California is not growing, except in the sense of Mexicans flooding in to accelerate the slide towards state bankruptcy. There is a continuing loss of skills and talents and jobs to states with lower taxes like Texas. But Texas is hot too !
Within the US there have been massive movements to the warmer and lower-tax states from typically Democratic-run states. But that would not fit the BBC groupthink.

Just so you know how the ‘climate experts’ manage to make things look so bad, the following makes interesting reading:

Frightening how they get away with it!

Great link!
The WATTS UP WITH THAT science website is perhaps the best site on the internet serving up the finest science and climate news anywhere in the world today.
Its how science should be presented in the media but instead we are treated to fraudulant rubbish and mumbo jumbo scare stories, I urge all people of good faith to go and visit and stay a spell and even put a couple of dollars in the tip jar!
WATTS UP WITH THAT and CLIMATE AUDIT(if you are a real brainiac) and GREENIEWATCH(for a fantastic news roundup) are doing the essential service that the science community has failed to perform, so eager to chase grant cheques yet so reluctant to tell the truth.
Without real genuine science done by honest inquiring confident scientists then we are finished as a civilisation, the current Lysenkoist scum we have now with their hands on the purse strings and an eye on the largesse of the political bosses are dragging us to ruination.

WattsUpWithThat has of course now become the most popular science site on the Internet. It is informative, actually allows both sides to post articles updated daily – by far the best source of real news about climate matters. Knocks the BBC propagandist team into a cocked hat.

Yes, great link. You don’t even have to be a scientist to see how the warmists are cheating.
