Watching the BBC’s blanket coverage of the announcement of forthcoming peace talks between Israel and Fatah, I noticed that requirements for a possible peace deal consisted exclusively of concessions that must be made by Israel.
What has happened to recognising Israel and renouncing violence? Without these, accomplishing any kind of peace seems a very tall order.
At least Mark Regev was given a slot, which is bound to stir up those who see the slightest peep out of him as a sign that the BBC is controlled by the Jewish lobby.
Will Islam Not BBC (INBBC) interview Abbas weeping at a funeral of Fatah Islamic jihadist killer?

National Union of Journalists instructs its thousands of members at Islam Not BBC (INBBC) to put out pro-Hamas propaganda, on British licencepayers’ money:
Senior NUJ Activists plan BBC protest against journalistic freedom

The NUJ?
Yes, they would feel right at home in North Korea/Cuba/Venezuela, all Marxist comrades together fighting against the evil Western Imperialist running dogs of capitalism?
Power to the people, let the revolution free the masses to crush the warmongers and profiteers, all hail the red freedom fighters of the NUJ, the vanguard of the new socialist order!
These fruitcakes love their Marxist fantasies but only in so far as doesnt affect their freedom or their standard of living or their private healthcare and private schooling for their own young pioneers eh? Isnt Cuba a wonderful example of the power of the workers? Er….uhmm…is it f*ck! Poverty stricken unemployed workers forced to send out their children to prostitute themselves to rich Westerners in order to eat, forced by the point of the AK47 to watch the commissars take the best of everything while the rest live in abject poverty.
OOooh Yeah comrades, the life of the masses in a Marxist paradise is just great isnt it? well yeah just as long as you yourself dont have to live that life but can just have the occasional holiday there to enjoy the young flesh only a Marxist paradise can provide, this young flesh is pliable and will submit to any degradation as starvation looms for them if they do not! Its all so funny and entertaining for the NUJ/union barons able to partake of this specially laid on treat. Whaaaat? You didnt actually think the NUJ plastic comrades and the union barons went to Cuba for the political rallies and political speeches did you?
I never met a Marxist I didnt want to shoot in the head!

Shooting is too good for them.

Fascinating emails George R! Really puts one into the spooky mindset of these truly Orwellian freaks.
That link must be seriously spread around.

The NUJ is only enforcing the anti-Israel movement’s policy of zero tolerance towards any opposing view. It’s what they do.
🙁

Interesting how many NUJ members were commenting, and effectively telling the “activists” to fcuk off.

After 60 odd years or so, isn’t it comforting to know that at LAST someone has come up with the idea of “peace talks”.
I am sure they will be as successful and long lasting as the BBC’s impartial coverage of them is.

Come off it , everyone knows the BBC is merely a mouthpiece for the Israeli government, er, I mean Labour government. Wait a minute, what I really mean is Obama government. Whew, got there eventually !

As Pounce might say, the BBC and half a story.
Israel and the Palestinians to resume direct talks
Odd headline wording isn’t it?
Not Israel and the Palestinian Authority nor Israelis and Palestinians.
Vital information not included.
1) Abbas is no longer legally President as his term has expired and the required elections haven’t been conducted. If any agreements were made they wouldn’t be enforced.
2) According to every survey and analyst Abbas doesn’t have the support of the Palestinians or even his own Fatah organization.
3) Hamas has consistently stated it will not honour any agreement that may be reached.
4) Statements in Arabic by Fatah reps that the military option has not been abandoned.

On Today they dragged in anti-Israel Israeli journalist Gideon Levy to discuss the hopelessness of peace talks with Raanan Gissin and James Naughtie.
Gideon Levy contributed: ‘most of ze Israel government declared zay don’t want peace wiz ze Palestinions’ and opined that peace talks are a waste of time because Oslo ‘brought the horrible intefada!’.
Yup. It was those pesky peace negotiations that imposed that ‘orrible intefada upon the helpless Palestinians.
Raanan Gissin then had an acute attack of verbal diarrhea. All three were so busy speculating over whether or not Mr. Netanyahu would ‘change’ they completely forgot to mention the intransigence of the helpless Palestinians.

I thought Gissin spoke like a has-been. He was far more disappointing than Levy – he can’t see the wood of Palestinian intransigence for the Osloid trees of Israeli politics. And to see the conflict as a clash of two national iberation movements seems to be a bit passe, nowadays…

You guys are aware are you not that an occupied people have a right to resist that occupation?
And these so called ‘concessions’ are a joke. By stopping house demolitions, land theft and expulsions you are not conceding anything. You don’t concede something by abstaining from doing something you shouldn’t be doing in the first place.

You are aware that the occupation only happened because the Arab countries, including the Gaza/West Bank territories, wanted to destroy Israel

Gaza is not occupied. The West Bank can be considered “occupied” only if you think that Jews should not be allowed to live there. Can we stop pretending now?

Mr. Stones,
Are you the sage who penned the following declaration of solidarity?
“As a non-muslim, i hope you accept my support in your struggle against the neo-con zionist oppression being inflicted in the lands of the Caliphate by these idiots. Im irish, so we have some shared understanding and i hope to see Hizbollah destroy the zionist occupation. Shookran ! RepublicanStones”
then someone called you a zionist agent and you retorted:
“Who is the idiot who called me a zionist agent and then proceeded to mis-spell the word Gaelic????? We irish support the resistance against zionist agression.”
You couldn’t make it up! You gun-totin’ irish! With your spelling and your funny garlic. What are you like?
(Found it by googling your moniker. )

And why weren’t the Palestinians fighting against oppression back when Jordan was “occupying” their territory, or when Egypt was “occupying” their territory? Were they good oppressors and occupiers or something? It’s all very confusing.
