And, another example of Islamic persecution of Christians in Algeria (the street-cleaning capital of the world) which INBBC censors today:

Algeria: Christians on trial for breaking Ramadan fast

And this ‘Jihadwatch’ comment is, I think, appropriate for INBBC:

“Here is yet another example of how non-Muslims are compelled to observe Islamic rules and mores when in Muslim countries. “And of course we see increasingly that when in non-Muslim countries, Muslims demand special privileges and accommodation for their practices. At no point is there ever any concession or gesture of good will from the Muslim side. Yet this unilateral intransigence is persistently ignored, downplayed or mischaracterized by Western observers.”

Here’s something you’ll never see on the BBC:  a right-wing loudmouth shuts down an anti-Tea Party demonstration by simply asking them to explain the signs they’re carrying.  They can’t, and the Union organizers herd the sheep away from the wolf.  One suspects the Beeboids would do the same thing if similarly pressed on statements they make about the Tea Party movement.

Andrew Breitbart Forces President Obama’s Protesters to Fold Up Shop

Breitbart is correct that this is a Union-organized protest, along with Organizing for America, which is directly tied to the White House.  The President is very closely tied to the SEIU and other trade unions (does that sound familiar?). The sign he holds up to the camera at the 5:00 mark was made by the Chicago Federation of Labor.  The one bearded activist who first refuses to answer Breitbart’s simple question by saying, “I won’t get drawn into your trap” and then later comes back to apologize on behalf of whichever of his minions called Breitbart a homosexual is not only a long-time political activist who uses religion for political purposes, but – and this is rather frightening – is associated with the ACLU.

This is Big Labor and the White House working directly to demonize political opponents.  The BBC will not report this.

That’s very revealing David. Thanks for posting those links.

What are the chances of Andrew Breitbart ever appearing on the BBC?

A search of the BBC News website (you won’t be in the least surprised to hear) brings up just 2 results for him – one a fleeting mention (“conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart” ) in an article about this year’s 9/11 events, the other a single mention in a long list of comments in response to an article by left-wing US writer (and BBC favourite) Michael Goldfarb. And that’s it! Amazing!!

Another prominent US conservative ignored by the BBC.

I don’t like Breitbart’s personality, but the point is that the BBC ought to be informing you about the President’s Union ties and the fact that He’s covertly using the White House and taxpayer money (Organizing for America) to slander political opponents.  We’re going beyond Nixon territory here, but the BBC will censor this information.

CORRECTION:  The sign in Breitbart’s video was not made by the Chicago Federation of Labour, but by a Union shop which is part of the Federation.  I apologize for the error.

I’m sure this is the fault of racists who hate the fact that a black man is President, but can’t figure out how to prove it just yet.

Key Obama economy advisor to quit

The White House said Mr Summers had been an architect of the 2009 Recovery act – aimed at jump-starting the US economy, and had also, among other roles, led an overhaul of the automobile industry.

“I will always be grateful that at a time of great peril for our country, a man of Larry’s brilliance, experience and judgment was willing to answer the call and lead our economic team,” President Obama said.

That’s the Recovery Act which cost more than the Iraq War and has left us worse off than if we had done nothing.  That “overhaul of the automobile industry” was more of a violation of contract law which led to the handing over of Chrysler to Fiat and GM to the Unions.

But the BBC doesn’t mention any of those negatives.  Instead they feed you a rehashed White House press release.

This is now the third economy rat to leave the sinking ship.  Any astute BBC analysts available for comment?

  5. David Preiser (USA) says:

BBC Middle East analyst Roger Hardy is either a little confused or a little dishonest.

Barack Obama applies carrot and stick to Iran

Hardy either saw or got a transcript of a speech that Stuart Levey, “chief architect” of the sanctions against Iran, gave on Monday.  Here’s what Hardy says about a key part of the speech:

Mr Levey set out three reasons why he believed sanctions were working:

        * The US had secured the co-operation of a broader coalition of governments and private-sector organisations than ever before.

        * This coalition now had, as Mr Levey put it, “the tools it needs to impose pressure on Iran” – through new UN (multilateral) sanctions and additional US (unilateral) sanctions.

        * The new pressures were being applied at a time when Iran was especially vulnerable because of “its government’s economic mismanagement and narrowed political flexibility”.

No, Hardy, the first two points are about why the sanctions will be effective.  Forming a coalition to impose sanctions is not proof that they’re working.  And how can assembling “the tools” to impose sanctions be proof that sanctions are already working?  If he means somehow that the fact that sanctions are working led more countries to jump on the bandwagon, then I’d like to know which countries were holding back that have now signed on for real and aren’t just dissemblers (I’m looking at you, Russia and China).

Only the third point actually demonstrates an effect of the sanctions.

Either Hardy just doesn’t get it, in which case he’s a pretty crap analyst, or he’s too busy trying to show that The Obamessiah is really going to lean on Iran and not allow them to get the bomb even though it’s looking more and more like they will and that He has screwed up yet another aspect of US foreign policy.

The last part of Hardy’s “analysis” shows how nervous he is about a positive outcome.

Now here’s a trip down memory lane to the comedy stylings of former BBC North America editor, Justin Webb on the topic of the BBC’s beloved Obamessiah and Iran:

    Obama confuses his enemies

How’s that working out now, Justin?
