TORTURE TIME

As we all shiver in the November cold (remember how, according to the BBC, snow in the UK was going to be a thing of the past?), the impact of the government’s insane climate change measures could not be clearer, as is reported this morning by the Daily Mail. Because of artificially-escalating fuel prices (which madman Huhne seems to want to crow about), 3.5m pensioner households are now forced to spend more than 10% of their income on heating bills, and they are terrified of the cost. Not only that, 25,400 English pensioners died of cold related illnesses in the four offical months of last winter, making our death rate from lack of adequate heating the highest in Europe. It makes my blood boil that such injustices are being perpetrated because our political class have sold out to the global warming lie factory.

In the midst of this Everest of human misery, what does the BBC do? Find evidence to show how insane these policies are? Speak to pensioners to see what sort of pain they are enduring? Ask nutjob Huhne why he persists in his policy of torture? Expose the lies told by the energy companies as they rub their hands in glee at the unqualified permission they have been given to extract the maximum amount of money from the most vulnerable? Er, no. It gives maximum prominence without question to the latest UN fantasy handout about how temperatures are going to rise by four degrees this century. Richard North deftly explains why such nonsense should have been treated with a huge dose of salt and then binned. Note how among the weasel words in the BBC reporting is the implied threat that energy prices and taxes must go even higher than they are now. I weep.

The EU is leading to crisis in several nations in Europe, as well as this impending impending fuel poverty, perpetrated by crooks of the EU and their minions in regional governments. All for acquiring money for themselves and patronage for corrupt dictators in the Third world.

There must be some way to deal out just retribution to these politicians who are the cause of needless deaths. The punishment must reflect the crime – deaths not by accident or negligence, which is understandable, but with knowledge aforethought.

I feel much the same way as Robin, especially about the pensioners who cannot afford heat. That is a scandal and a problem that could be solved if our ruling classes gave half a damn.  Have just received a letter from British Gas about a 7% hike in prices which is full of lies and propaganda from start to finish.

I love the BBC approach to graphics… “emissions… emissions… um… WATER COOLING TOWERS! THAT SHOWS CARBON EMISSIONS!!!”.

If the BBC is going to harp on about a non-existent problem, at least get the graphics right.

Standard MSM misconception – cooling towers = CO2 – you can’t tell ’em, God knows how many people have tried.

You can see how they refuse to disbelieve man-made climate change when even their graphics are out and out falsehoods.  If they don’t listen now, and take stuff on board, they probably never will.

Actually, I don’t think the BBC graphics people have made a mistake at all. Not being visable at normal enviromental temperatures, the Beeb are stuck for a picture CO2 spewing into the atmosphere.  A picture of water vapour serves as a substitute. It is   a quite deliberate policy, in my opinion.

In a rational world, these reports would be enough to see the likes of Huhne strung up on lamp-posts.  But we seem to be extraordinarily supine in this country about this sort of thing.  Is there something in the water?

Politicians must invent sticks to beat us with.  Without them creating or inventing problems, we would not need them at all.  I can’t forget Dianne Abbot confidently announcing that recent floods in the north of England were caused by global warming, how does she know, is she a scientist? but she goes unchallenged therefore she must be right.

I have tried to obtain from the Met Office the average  annual mean temprature for Britain for each year since 1995. They are unable to give me these simple figure. They are hand in glove with the BBC. They do not want us to see these figuress as it does not show the increase ther would like I believe.

BBC unveils UK’s first carbon calculator for TV

It has long since been obvious that BBC are very good at self-inflicted mission creep in order to maintain and expand the empire.

Anthony Jay, one of the writers of ‘Yes Minister’ and Yes, Prime Minister’ once accused the BBC of acting like a ‘..higher moral authority’

I would go further and accuse the corporation of acting as ‘The Conscience of The Nation’

There is one person at the BBC who at least does not hide the reason for high fuel prices.
