MIDDLE AGED, GIFTED AND BLACK

Can’t wait for the BBC’s coverage of this story. He’s in the Tea Party  (ergo racist), he supports Sarah Palin (ergo racist and also hate inciter) and..oh yes, he’s BLACK. Mark Mardell, are you paying attention?

If you don’t attend Tea Party rallies or listen to political talk radio, the name Herman Cain may not register. Cain intends to rectify that. He’s planning to seek the GOP nomination, so he’s spreading his blustery, relentlessly upbeat right-wing social and economic message, which can be heard weeknights from 7 to 10 on WSB in Atlanta. Cain is so exuberantly confident of his message that he has upgraded its status: he bestows upon audiences not speeches or talking points but “The Hermanator Experience.” He’s even trademarked the phrase. Truth be told, what distinguishes Cain’s message is less its content—“From the standpoint of our conservative beliefs and values, Sarah Palin and I are probably identical,”

Listen, can you hear that sound? Yes, it is the sound of BBC prejudices popping as their bias is challenged …

The following article, written by a young Republican woman candidate (who happens to be black), criticises:

“The campaign by the NAACP [National Association for the Advancement of Colored People] and leading black journalists – all liberals – to paint the Tea Party movement, the push back against government growth and intrusiveness over the last two years, as motivated by racism is shameful.”

Like Allen West and before him Condoleeza Rice, Herman Cain must be the wrong type of ‘black’.

I actually wonder if the Beboids and their fellow travellers hate black conservatives even more than white.  The Beboid mentality dictates that as they are “fighting for Black Rights” then all black people should be beholden to them.  And any that don’t follow them are ungrateful to them and are a disgrace to their own “people”.

I believe that the Left Wing are exceptionally condescending to black people and others from ethnic minorities, and believe that these people owe them allegiance.  This is why the Left Wing is so much more racist than the Right Wing who believe in taking people on their merit.

If only we had a few Alan Wests in this country with guts and backbone. Ah well, back to reality.

We have Melanie Phillips and Douglas Murray.  But if you mean a great political leader emerging from the armed forces, no, sadly lacking there.  Colonel Richard Kemp is the closest, and his contributions to the cause of truth and justice are inestimable.

  5. RGH says:

The Right cannot be racist as it holds the individual as the highest value not the collective. The collective is racist as it classifies individuals into fixed groups and creates parallel societies and cements them into permanent catagories often setting group against group by nurturing victim culture. That makes it very hard indeed for a talented individual to break out of the ‘victim’ class as he is told that his victimhood is the result of the other and that his skills and talents will not advance him and his family.

The Leftist then offers himself as ‘righter of wrongs in perpetuity’ with an interest in appearing the advocate. Of course, the victim is NOT allowed to cease being a victim. He then becomes a ‘class traitor’ or turns his back on his own community (whatever that means) and has abandoned his ‘roots’ whatever that means.

Maybe he’s read up on the history of the Civil Rights Act, and knows that it was the Democrats presented the biggest obstacle to that act being passed.

They knew full well that its passage would, as Lyndon Johnson said on signing it, cede the South to the Republican Party for generations to come.

DP, I thought the Democrat domination of the South only started coming to an end in the 80’s??

Wouldn’t it be great to “out Black” the Democrats? The Hermator and West together would be “awesome”. Both highly intelligent brilliant speakers (Obama puts me to sleep).

Demon 1001 (comment below) what you say is so true…in the UK it’s the “poor” that should owe their gratitude to the Left wing.

Earlier today at work (I am a public sector who works on Sundays and less than £30000 pa!), I had a discussion with a mid-30s lefty. I was trying to explain to him the damage that Labour did in the 70s and that unemployment had risen in the early 80s because the nationalised industries and the public sector had to be cut back. Plus also I mentioned that due to high rate taxes, foreign firms would not come to Britain and entrepeneurs were leaving. Anyway, eventually we discussed society and the lie about Mrs Thatcher saying ‘there is no such thing as society’ came up. He was trotting out the usual lefty line about how bad she was. So he looked it up and there, in full was the statement given to a journalist that Mrs T gave. He actually conceded that he was wrong. I told him not to listen to the left-wing anti-bias towards Mrs T (especially the BBC) if he wants to know the facts.
