That programme was at 10.30 this morning, Saturday, on Radio 4.
At about 9.10am there had been a long and utterly boring interview with a Muslim convert in the UK – another nonentity.
Thanks. BBC, for giving us well over an hour between doses of Islam brainwashing.
(But isn’t that how the Chinese water torture worked ? A steady drip, drip onto your forehead, hour after hour, day after day. You KNEW there would be another drip, you just did not know when it was going to come. That’s what drove you crazy.)
lf we are talking other parts of the world how come the bBC don’t mention that six million muslims convert to Christianity in Africa ALONE, that is EVERY year.
They can find one pot head who smoked one too many in South Asia but they never cover six million a year, every year – probably don’t count in the bBC’s books as they are mostly black.
That piece on From Our Own Correspondent is only for starters.
There’s also going to be a half-hour programme called It’s My Story: The Imam of Peace about the same man, John Mohammed Butt, on Monday night (Radio 4, 8.00pm).
The homepage of the BBC website prominently links (under the headline ‘Hippy Imam’) to a transcription of today’s FOOC piece.
So the BBC don’t intend for us to miss hearing about this guy.
And to think some people don’t think the BBC is pushing an agenda here!
“Beeboids still suggesting that eventually the Iraq War will be declared illegal. Stop giving your opinions and just tell us what happened.” David Preiser
Quite right.
Compare and contrast:
War with no UN resolution. War where NATO countries first intervened against their mandate of defending NATO countries. War where the attacked country had never invaded its neighbours, in fact it was deprived of its own territory without any international agreement beforehand. War where the reason for war (mass genocide) was entirely false and based on at the very most a few thousand killed, likely less. War where civilian infrastructure was repeatedly deliberately targetted. War where territory was taken from the defeated country.
Compare to War with a UN resolution War where the attacked country had invaded its neighbours War where the civilian infrastructure was not repeatedly deliberately targetted. War where no teritory was annexed from the loser. War against a country that used WMD on its own people. War against a country that previously had WMD and used them and made clear its intention to have them again and use them again.
The former was the Kosovo War, the latter the Iraq War. If there is a case for an illegal war it had to be the Kosovo War. So why did the bBC never mention it. We intervened on the religion of peace side in that one didn’t we, so no problem there, move along now.
Almost the best piece of reportage I have ever seen from Afghanistan, by Sonali Shah whom I believe is a BBC Newsround presenter.
Beautifully filmed, wide-angle assessment of what is happening to the children and young people in Afghanistan – including the sharp difference between Kabul and outlying regions.
This is the standard I used to expect from the BBC. But now so seldom see.
The young lady is just that – a young lady. But her understanding and outlook is light-years ahead of so many BBC presenters – the Eslers, the Naughties etc.
Could one imagine Jeremy Bowen taking a filmcrew around Gaza and TELLING THE TRUTH ? Just once, for God’s sake ? Then the BBC might start to stop being pernicious, biased, warped, sick.

Yet again the bBC pushes the ‘everyone is converting to islam the religion of peace’ line.
They managed to dig up this obscure guy no-one has ever heard of in India and tell you how impressive he is.
