It sounds like the Beeboids are more upset about the the leaked plans of Palestinian leaders to cede territory in “illegally occupied East Jerusalem” to nasty old Israel than are the actual Palestinians themselves.

Give one single concession to Israel?  Heaven forbid!  Thank goodness it wasn’t St. Julian who released these disturbing documents.

BBC doing a slightly hysterical couple of segments about efforts to fight against food shortages. as we’re in a global crisis, don’t you know.  While the Beeboids drone on about “sustainability” (no finances invovled, so they can use the word with confidence), they sure as hell aren’t talking about a key factor in these global shortages.

Actually, the real problem is prices, not shortages.  Replanting leek waste in Wales isn’t going to keep corn prices from doubling, as they have in the last year.

In reality, it is the pressure from environmentals which has caused, for example, an increasing percentage of the corn produced in the US is inedible “dirty corn” meant for biofuel.  This drives up prices of animal feed, which in turn drives up prices of meat, etc. That’s why food prices are up and countries are struggling, not because we need more sustainable farming practices.  Subsidies further encourage this trend, and subsidies are certainly not “sustainable”.

But the disgusting BBC isn’t interested. Governments “must take action now.”  What a joke.

Here’s an accompanying bit of activist propaganda on the BBC website.  Sure, the report was commissioned by the Government, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t ask an activist to do it.  Call Me Dhimmi Dave is as mentally green as any Beeboid.

No mention of subsidies or biofuels or land prices.  Nope, instead they want a top-down system immediately which looks way, way too much like what Mao tried to do for my comfort.

Melanie Phillips on the BBC-NUJ-Pink News propaganda for homosexuality; the case of MARK EASTON:

    ‘Daily Mail’

    [Extract]:

“But as soon as his appointment [to Adisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs] was announced, Dr Raabe was targeted in an astonishing attack.
“For he is also a leading member of the Manchester-based Maranatha Community, which is dedicated to re-establishing Christian values in society and which campaigns against gay rights.
It was the BBC’s Home Editor Mark Easton who led the charge. On his BBC News blog, he announced that Dr Raabe’s views on homosexuality were causing such fury among (anonymous) members of the Advisory Council that at least one member was threatening to step down.
“Well may you rub your eyes at that. Just what have his views on homosexuality got to do with illegal drugs? Well, according to Easton, more than one member of the council is gay or lesbian.
How extraordinary. Just imagine if the boot were on the other foot and Dr Raabe had refused to serve on the drugs council because some of its members were gay. He would be out on his ear within the hour. ”

Huge Pym sits beside Kate Silverton (looking very frosty faced because of the Sky2) to tell ” The outgoing boss of the business body CBI accuses the coalition of failing to explain its vision for economic growth in the UK.”

This apparently is “embarrassing” for the government. Thank the Lord such matters are usually “humiliating”.

(PS This chap Sir Richard Lambert is a hot tip to be the next BBC Chairman. )

Yep, peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians will now grind to a halt because someone suggested giving a concession to Israel.  Giving one single concession means that Fatah is destroying the Palestinians hopes and dreams.  Yet, we’re still supposed to believe they want it.

The BBC hasn’t yet accused Israel of leaking these documents to undermine Fatah’s credibility so they can claim there is no Palestinian partner for peace and keep their boot on the neck or whatever, but it’s still early days.

Government faces cat calls as No 10 tackles rat”

Or how the BBC can apply spiteful spin to an innocuous story about the ‘Downing Street Cat’

I bet some sub editor thought it was brilliant – how many negative memes are in that one headline.  Well done BBC, Associate the Government and No 10 with abusive ‘cat calls’ and ‘rats’ at the same time.  Would it have killed them to say “Calls for new No 10 Cat after rat spotted” (same number of words

“CBI Boss: Coalition lacks Vision” Odd isn’t it, the coalition lacks vision, it is blinkered and clearly has no idea what it is doing.  At least that is what I get from the headline.  However the first sentence of the report says “He accuses [my emph] the coalition of failing to explain its vision for economic growth in the UK.”  So it doesn’t lack a vision at all BBC, perhaps it is a vision that you do not like though.

“Counter-terror review Shambolic” says LABOUR press release backed up by Yvette Balls.  Tell me BBC just how many Home Secretaries did the Labour Party go through when they had a Home Office that “was not fit for purpose”

“Communities Threatened by cuts”  Says a party with a very one sided vested interest – Unison “Government spending cuts threaten local communities and economic recovery, a public service union has warned.”

“Recovery unevenly spread in UK, says Centre for Cities” – a ‘non partisan’ think tank I have had a look at its web page and it is an interesting read….

“Labour urged to pull together” Labour are “determined to pull together” after the resignation of Alan Johnson, a senior shadow minister says.  That’s nice – why no BBC style headline here, couldn’t this be spun as “Labour split over appointment of Balls” which is how it would be ;presented if it were Tories in question

Every headline is pitched in a certain genetically unbiased form isn’t it.  May re post this in a new Open Thread as this one is way down.

As George R would say, not for INBBC:

English Common Law Videoing debate ends with Muslim death threat to Englishman (Leicester)

I suppose this guy was radicalized by the Iraq War too?

Channel hopping, I just caught a classic BBC number on the ONE SHOW reporting on the government’s plans to sell some forestry land to help pay off Labour’s debt.

Heavily loaded against the Coalition, the segment ended with personal opinion galore, including a pointless and ill-informed rant from Dermot the Talentless.

Last word went to the female presenter on the topic of access to forests:  “It should be free”.

    Indeed, so should watching television.
