    Just read this…

Milibands shake hands on plan for ‘army’ of 10,000 activists
    The Guardian, p14

Ed and David Miliband are joining forces to put together a group of around 10,000 community organisers. The campaign, ‘The Movement For Change’ was started by David Miliband but there are plans to restart and expand it in March this year. The idea behind the campaign is that people are encouraged to resist state or private sector imposed change. The campaign is financially supported by Lord Sainsbury and it seeks to contrast with Cameron’s Big Society.

All well and good, and what oppositions do, one supposes.

It’s even got the word ‘change’ in it, which is what worked for Mr. Obama.

But one suspects that now a few score Grauniots have decided it’s a movement for hope, Aunty will not be far behind.

    Impartially of course, eh, Helen?

Lot’s of delving questions on the quaint notion of these two being at the forefront of attacking state intrusion.

Plus the dark background world of rich funders manipulating folk with their ill-gotten gains.

ps: Naturally, in this context, in Beebworld, ‘change’ will be good. If it is climate, then of course….

Caught Andrew Neil on Richard Bacon talking about ‘Posh and Posher’ his Tory bashing series.

I say Tory bashing because clearly from what Neil said, his attacks seem to be mostly aimed at the Tories and not Nu Liebour.

Neil attacked the demise of the Grammar school yet fails to highlight just which political party abolished most of them and the fact that Nu Liebour politicians like Hattie Hatemenperson and fatty Abbott both use Grammar and private schools for their own kids.

In fact Neil didn’t mention Harman at all in his discussion with Bacon, she of course went to one of the top private schools in the Country.

No doubt Neil will also ignore all the top beeboids who went to Oxbridge and Eton.

Bacon then had another go at Murdoch and Neil stated that if you want to know what Murdoch thinks, you read the Sun, yet Kelvin Mackenzie stated the other day that Murdoch NEVER interfered editorially with the Sun.

Andrew Neil has jumped the shark me thinks.

Also, do you remember when Neill was on the previous week with Bacon, Neill says his sources close to Murdoch say he has very little to do with the output of Fox and isn’t happy with a lot of it?

I’ll try to catch Bacon’s interview with Neill.  The portents of what I’ve been hearing from Neill lately aren’t good.

I have commented on this before but I see that it continues . Notice that all labour pronouncements are still reported by the BBC as-  “labour says” yet when the conservatives were in opposition it was always “The Tories claim”.

Bob Quick the ex-head of the Met anti-terrorist squad who revealed details of Al Qa’eda surveillance operations and connived with the New Labour Government to arrest the Shadow Home Secretary for receiving leaked documents with the bogus use of anti-terrorism legislation was on 5Live this morning as well, interviewed as if he was someone who can be taken seriously.
