In recent days, the BBC has been leading the charge against what it alleges is our evil arms trade. Nicky Campbell is currently running such a debate on his dreadful Big Question programme. The meme is that we need to wind up this awful immoral trade, sack all those involved, and give peace a chance. Such 1960’s hippy tripe is evidently deeply embedded in the BBC DNA. The leader of the Respect Party, Salma Yaqoob was on to lend her heavyweight insight and denied that the UK should have ANY Arms Industry.

And how much “respect” does she, or any other woman, actually get from her fellow party-members?

What these leftist twats fail to recognise is that they only way peace can be guaranteed is through the use of force. Someone threatens your peace, you smash the f8ck out of them…UTTERLY! Make them think twice about threatening your peace again…or remove them from the equation altogether.

Nonsense. Hitler could’ve been halted with flowers folk songs.

Where on earth do these stupid people get their ideas, the weak never get the peace they expect. That is a fact for all to see all too plainly. It applies from the schoolyard on into adult life. In any case, do we have an arms industry, I thought it had been sold off long ago.

Perhaps Ms Jacoob could approach the Egyptian High Command after Friday Prayers sometime.
Perhaps she could comment on the following as experienced at the Coptic Monastery of Anba Bishoy in the Wadi Natrun just 3 days ago in which gives us the heart-warming evidence that revolutions come, revolutions go, but the essentials remain.
Perhaps the monks just get on the nerves of the Moslem soldiery for not pulling down a wall that a week before they were asked to erect BY THE ARMY to protect them against the hundreds of prisoners released just up the road.

The Egyptian Armed Forces issued a statement on their Facebook page denying that any attack took place on St. Bishoy Monastery in Wady el-Natroun, “Reflecting our belief in the freedom and chastity of places of worship of all Egyptians.” The statement went on to say that the army just demolished some fences built on State property and that it has no intention of demolishing the monastery itself
“When we tried to address them, the army fired live bullets, wounding Father Feltaows in the leg and Father Barnabas in the abdomen,” said Monk Ava Bishoy. “Six Coptic workers in the monastery were also injured, some with serious injuries to the chest.”

A shambles of a programme with Nicky Campbell failing to moderate and impose a disciplined framework on the discussion when certain individuals kept interrupting and speaking over the person who was making a point.

I enjoyed the question Campbell put to Salma Yaqoob “Didn’t your prophet Mohammed use weapons?” though in my opinion he gave this shrill far too much leeway to incessantly prattle and interrupt others.

Is that a direct quote? Usually Beeboids use the definite article when talking about Muhammad. Maybe Nicky is starting to grow a pair. Or maybe the cold truth of what’s going down is starting to grow on him like mildew on Christian Weston Chandler’s shower curtain. Assuming one or both of those is true, I’m not sure what we can attribute this change to, but I like to thing Martin had something to do with it.

I don’t know if this was said absolutely verbatim, but the words “your prophet” and “weapons” were definitely used in close juxtaposition.
I’d like to think Campbell is becoming a little more sceptical and forensic in his questioning these days, who knows.
But all too often, he allows leftist windbags to monopolise the proceedings, when what he should be doing is ensuring that guests of all persuasions get have their say, rigorously enforcing it if necessary. Having said this he was comparably even handed during the adoption debate. Or is this because the counter-argument (blacks shouldn’t be adopted by whites) is so gloriously, unbelievably STUPID, that no sane person would want to give their proponents a platform to stand on.

Nicky Campbell’s question to Salma was “War is a reality Salma. Your prophet Mohammed, for example, he was a warrior. He fought lots of battles. He had to get his arms…If he were around now, where would he buy his weapons from? Russia?”

You obviously dont listen to NC on the radio. Doesn’t suprise me at all that he should put this question.

Why is it that Yaqoob, Galloway etc, are given carte blanch by the BBC to peddle their self righteous bile, where as Nick Griffin is seen as an evil “Terrorist” and reviled as such? Wheres the impartiality regarding this issue?
Why don’t the EDL protest outside to the BBCs broadcasting house in a similar way to that of the loathsome UAF when Griffin did “Question Time”? Why are Yaqoob and Galloway any different to him regarding “Extremist politics”?
If Yaqoob took in a foster child of which ever race or creed (another issue on Dame Nicky’s God awful show) she would indoctrinate fully as a slave to Allah, but of course I heard no mention of this by Al Beebs esteemed panel.
The BBCs propaganda programming is currently moving further to the left than it ever has done before. Perhaps they’ll soon be attempting to manipulate the British public that Martin Smiths Socialist Workers Party, and Yaqoobs “Respect” are wholesome mainstream political movements for the coming age…..It’s just never ending manipulation from the “Impartial State broadcaster”.

Isn’t the Big Question programme just a shoddy revamp of the old ‘Central Weekend’, hosted by Nicky Campbell from about 20 years ago?
It seems to follow the exact formula – audience plants to spice up the ‘debate’, and the same old protagonists wheeled on, week in, week out.
It was laughable then, and still is now.

As people may have presumed by now, I’m something of a spotter when it comes to Military equipment. While the people baying for blood are quick to say this ,that and the other in which to slate the Uk. In the year up to Sept 2010 the UK exported £214 million of special licence goods to Libya. Of which £33 million comprised of military exports. So what did the Libyans purchase off the UK;
Tear gas, Body armour, Smoke grenades for armoured vehicles. armoured glass/plate for armoured vehicles. Helmets.
So what about all these armoured vehicles. Well the UK sold 10 riot wagons such as these.
And those snipers weapons? Here is what Sky News has to say on the subject:
An export licence was granted to let “a small quantity” of long-range weapons be shipped out in November for an exhibition. But the firms that manufactured and bought the weapons said they could not be fired and were only used for display purposes.Four licences were approved for the rifles, along with assault rifles and semi-automatic handguns, with cleaning kits. They were not fired and were only used for display purposes, the firms added.A spokesman for RPA International Ltd – the company which bought them – said at no point were the weapons handed to the Libyan government or their agencies. They were displayed at a trade show before being placed back into secure storage and taken to an airport depot, where they remain. All of the weapons were disabled and could not have been used, they added.
So what did we actually sell them, well the latest EU report pertains to exports in 2009 and for the UK is broken down as so: (All figures are in Euros)
Weapons smaller than 12.5mm: 10,648
Ammunition: 3088
Bombs torpedoes and accessories :77,726
Fire control and warning equipment:185,562
Ground vehicles: 38,134
Riot control agents: 210,795
Aircraft and spare parts: 810,664
Electronic equipment: 20,692,950
Well seeing as a half decent shotgun comes in at around £3000, you are not going to purchase much for £10,000 never mind mind€ 10,000. The same goes with ammo. Game cartridges for shotguns gives you 1000 for £179. In fact the largest by far category of military exports in 2009 for Libya was for Military Electronic goods
In the same period Russia (Libya’s largest military outfitter) sold over $1.3 billion of military exports
This was followed by Italy (€112 Million)
Malta (€80 Million)
Germany (€53 Million)
France (€30 Million)
UK(€25 million)
I hope that the following info is helpful to others.

They don’t, but it is used as a middle man for the shipment of arms to the middle east.
Here is how the EU observer reports on Maltese arms exports.
And here is a story from 2007 from the bBC which everybody appears to have forgotton

From the donkey’s mouth:
“More on the checkpoints BBC Arabic’s Feras Kilani was telling us about earlier: “At each checkpoint, there are some soldiers with their Russian Kalashnikov weapons. They search the cars and check passengers’ documents, because this is the main road that leads to all the cities of the east. There is also a Russian tank at each checkpoints [on the] side of the road and an armed vehicle with an anti-aircraft machine gun on the other side.”

Don’t destroy the BBC’s narrative; we are evil exporters of arms and anything that happens in a country that we have supplied any arms to is entirely our fault. Just because the Russians supply more arms is of no relevance to the BBC and indeed will not be mentioned.

There’s no value-added in the mass produced kit for the army and police for the high-tec British manufacturers.
The arms for ‘internal security’ are everywhere Russian, Chinese or East European and CUBAN.
Direct copies of the AK47 are Bulgarian AKM, Cuban AKM, Egyptian Maadi Misr, Hungarian AKM, Iranian KL-7 and Polish AKM.
Nothing Made in Britain.

Just for your info, while the AK47 is used by Libya, its main assult rifle is the (then) Czechsolvovakian made Sa vz. 58. Which while looking very much like the AK47 and uses the same 7.62 x 39 short round is actually a very different weapon under the dust cover.
Here is the wiki stub on the weapon, its much easier to read than the above link.
The weapon is very well made and along with the Bulgarian copy is deeemd to be one of the best AK47s clones on the market. (better even than the russian models) As for the Chinese copies, I’d rather own a cheap chinese watch.

At last.
According to a survey, 39% of Asian Britons, 34% of white Britons and 21% of black Britons wanted all immigration into the UK to be stopped permanently, or at least until the economy improved. And 43% of Asian Britons, 63% of white Britons and 17% of black Britons agreed with the statement that “immigration into Britain has been a bad thing for the country”. Just over half of respondents – 52% – agreed with the proposition that “Muslims create problems in the UK”.

The BBC are no different than the CND movemnet was in the 60s and 70s. They wanted the West to disarm to allow the communists to take over. It was nothing to do with peace, if it had been they would have seen that disarming the wests deterant would not have lead to peace.
The BBC and “respect” case is to allow the enemies of freedom to take over. The BBC because of their “guilt complex” and “Respect” because they are fith columnists aiding and abetting the enemy.
