Question Time tonight comes from London.
On the panel we have ex-spook and future Foreign Secretary Rory Stewart MP, the “ginger rodent” Danny Alexander MP, newt-loving nutter Ken Livingstone, rocker-druggie Mick’s ex-wife Bianca Jagger and historian Niall Ferguson.
Red Ken on tonight, eh? Doubtless Boris will be on next week for Mayoral election balance? No, thought not. On a positive note, though, QT will follow a Party Budget Broadcast by Red Ed which should cost him a couple of points in the polls.
The LiveBlog will also cover the insane This Week, with Andrew Neil, Michael Portillo, a random lefty politician and a veritable smorgasbord of hangers-on. Let’s see if they can top the owl-eyed and off-her-face fashion designer from last week who mumbled some disconnected views about nuclear power.
TheEye and David Mosque will be cutting fuel tax here from 10:30pm.
Bianca Jagger? FFS.
But of course, I forgot. Like so many Z-list slebs deservedly fading into well-earned irrelevance, she’s now an “activist”, isn’t she? The fading sled’s vocation de nos jours.

Better do it quickly, while she’s still alive.

How can the British, French and the Americans go to Libya, where as a country where democracy is like Ivory Coast the have gone to the polls and voted for a new president with international recognition, yet Bagbo is not stepping down and killing his people, why wouldnt the SO CALLED UN step in. Zimbabwe is been there for years why wouldnt they step in. the reason they are in libya is for oil. im not in favour of Gaddafi but if they can sought all these problems then that is fine. I THINK WE HAVE AFRICAN UNION SO WHY THE UN HELP THE AFRICAN UNION TO SOUGHT THIS PROBLEM AMONG THEM SELFS.

People lie.
Especially politicians.
Sad, but inevitable.
What is of interest is where some lie, why and the consequences.

Given the predisposition of the BBC to stack its ‘guest’ commentary lists with less than honest individuals from less than representative ends of various spectra anyway, one wonders how many blatant porkies sail through by not being aired live or having a rare person present to catch ’em out.
Because one thing is for sure, and that’s the market rate talents chairing, moderating or interviewing sure as heck won’t, either through ineptitude or complicity.
And I am compelled to co-fund this?
Unique.
