As esteemed B-BBC contributor David Preiser has repeatedly noted, one of the main BBC denigrators of the Tea Party movement is the US bureau’s Katty Kay. See here for an explanation of her venom. Ms Kay, as an activist liberal and Obama lover, is also – naturally – a climate change zealot, as David points out here.
But that’s not Ms Kay’s only involvement in greenie/lefty issues. Donna LaFramboise does excellent work on No Frakking Consensus tracking down linkages of greenie activists, and in this item she has pointed out that the Pew Charitable Trusts are pumping millions of dollars into training scientists who will spout climate change lies to order. I did a bit of digging, and before too long, up popped the name of Ms Kay.
During last autumn, she was “moderator” at an event that, even by the standards of eco-loonery, was rather intense fare. The title?

Not many signs of climate change dissenters in those ranks. So Ms Kay, as well as taking the award for the most vehement anti-Tea Party BBC reporter, is also in there fighting with the sisters on the Pew gravy train for an end to nasty CO2 emissions. One of the signficant contributory causes of economic meltdown is the adoption of greenie anti-industrialist and anti-enterprise measures; the BBC, as usual, has an activist at the heart of the action.
Thanks Robin – these wheels within wheels never fails to surprise me. Pew Charitable Trusts appears to be funded by money from a company called Sun Oil and was one of the US’s wealthiest foundations. Pew was according to Wiki ‘heavily involved in Republican Politics.
It doesn’t sound to me as though as though the Pew Charitable Trusts are following through on the ideals of their founders.
All Trusts are subverted by Leftists eventually.

Yeah I followed the Donna Laframboise links to Pew. FFS the stink. Showering £100k a head funding to armies of new PHDs, basically corrupting the next generation of scientists and policy makers. And what sweet irony that the charitable foundations that fund Pew come from the children of the founders of the Sun Oil company. So now you know, its the environmentalists who are funded by Big Oil and not the Sceptics.
Many of these NGO World Peace foundations and Environmental Activists are funded by “guilt money” originating from obscenely rich hedge fund couples.

I looked up her article. She explains that
“On my way to Harrogate [for an expenses paid conference]…I am late, so rush on without a ticket..I decide to go First Class….staff ask for proof that I am entitled to be there. I inquire politely why the others aren’t having to produce their tickets….There is no other black or Asian passenger in these coaches – just an observation….The humiliation cost me £248. Thank you, Northern Rail, for a lesson I will not forget. I should know my place.”
So it seems that she did not upgrade herself from a standard ticket (as I originally thought) she was on expenses and got on the train without any ticket, and complained that she was repeatedly asked for proof that she had purchased a First Class ticket. Her conclusion was that the train company was racist.
Pity we can send her sorry arse back to Uganda.
