Another forlorn mention to the dhimmi UK Government on the continuing operation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s 24/7 political propaganda against the West which operates from London
“Stop Iran broadcasting propaganda from Ealing” (2010)
The first propaganda item up on Radio 4 ‘World at One’ today was:
BBC-NUJ’s Robert PESTON, (son of Labour Lord Peston), talking about ‘devastating’ new evidence against Murdochs on phone hacking.
Peston, is apparently on a personal political mission in this, reflected not least in his political empathy for enemy of Murdoch and Fox News, none other than ‘leftist’ billionaire SOROS.
Of course, from a BBC-NUJ political viewpoint, the operation of News International media is worse than the operation by Islamic Republic of Iran’s of ‘ PRESS TV’, and its 24/7 political propaganda against the West from its Ealing, London studios.
Oh, PESTON couldn’t help laughing while giving his account of the situation of the Murdochs. Will this be edited out of i-Player version of ‘World at One’?
I know the BBC makes a lot of money off licensing their shows around the world, but a Persian version of Who Do You Think You Are is taking it too far.
I like this part, though:
The Iranian legislative study also launched into a tirade against the BBC, claiming that the British publicly owned media company serves the interests of the “Zionists.” Wahdat-Hagh noted the irony of the Iranian attack because the BBC is widely viewed as one of the most critical news organizations when reporting on Israel.
That’s an Iranian Brussels mandarin talking, not the Jews at the J-Post. But I’m sure it can’t be true because the BBC gets complaints from both sides, right?
Watched last nights Panorama programme which moved the analysis of the riots on not one jot, except in one area – we now know why they fizzled out almost as spontaneously as they had started.
It seems the end came in Birmingham with the death of the three young men. Tariq Jahan stopped it all. Having established his muslim credentials there was a line that was really the most curious line of the entire show.
“Tariq Jahan speasks for England….People listen, the rioting stops everywhere”
I don’t for one minute doubt the strength and gravity that Mr Jahan spoke with, given his circumstances. Personally I found his speech a simple cutting truth and that he showed true character and strength and summed up the feelings of many across the nation very well.
I also appreciate its a clever use of words to allude to the fact that his speech coincided with the the cessation of the riots, but didn’t it play beautifully to the narrative so loved by the BBC. When I heared it it jarred so much with the flow of the programme I was immediately struck that there was something very deliberate in its use. This one man had stopped the riots.
To the BBC it had nothing to do with the downpours that occured across Britain. It had nothing to do with a chnage in policiing tactics and it had nothing to do with the fact that the sense of revulsions and the fact that many in Britain decided that they weren’t going to let it stand any longer.
Admirable man Tariq Jahan. I caught the end of his interview with Sarah Montague on radio 4s Today programme. It struck me as astonishing that very few commented upon the fact that he looked upon the death of his son in a fatalistic manner. He cited the Koran , and said “what happened was written”. I guess the equivalent of Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit. But how many Christians today would illustrate such composure after losing a son telling us that “it was already written”. You have to go back a very long time in English religious thought and compare it with with necessarianism. To cut this ramble short what people found so admirable about him was nothing other than a fundamentalist interpretation of death.
Did anybody think of saying, well hey, if there hadn’t been any rioting your son would not have been killed? That it was not written, and that it was preventable.
Yes, that struck me too but religious people are often like that about death. On a television clip like that, it can come across as dismissive or too-easy acceptance and even trivialising what is far from a trivial thing. I don’t doubt, though, that grief and anguish will be felt by that father and family.
I noticed this but assumed it was part of the infantalisation of the BBC. Treating serious matters as soap opera and looking for a dramatic storyline. They did a great diservice to Mr Jahan who has lost his son.
Jahan’s Islamic fatalism doesn’t sit well with me, but other than that the man spoke as a participant in modern civilization and member of a local community, regardless of identity, and wasn’t lusting for revenge. I hope the BBC understands that.
He also made sure to tell us that he was a Muslim who spoke for England. Hah! How blatant are these Beeboids? They don’t often do that when there is a news item involving Muslims. Only when it suits a Beeboid purpose. In the Beeboid mind, that purpose usually requires some sort of propanda.
To some extent I can forgive the BBC this particular bit of biased narrative creation. I think that deep down even the commited welfare multiculturalists at the BBC realised that with that incident in Birmingham we came within a Mullah’s whisker of a real inter-racial bust up.
What Tariq Jahan achieved, full credit to him, was the defusing of a Muslim/Black conflict in Winson Green similar to the Lozels disturbances. The rioters and looters in London, Manchester, Liverpool were not watching the media. They ran out of steam and faced effective police resistance by the fourth day inc. police using arrested looters Blackberries to break through the encryption among other things.
In response to reports that Iranian media have been claiming the recent riots here were anti-monarchy in nature, BBC journalist (and Green Party supporter) Piers Schofield (aka Inglesi) retweeted this observation from Canadian journalist Doug Sanders:
If only it had been an anti-monarchy uprising. We’d all have been out there with bricks in hand. Instead, it was just depressing.
I noticed this biased Beeboid also retweeted an artile from the far-Left Rolling Stone about how Rick Perry actually didn’t improve Texas’ economy at all, saying “expect to see more of this”. The article looks to Paul Krugman for guidance, so it’s obvious where they’re coming from. And the BBC will be eagerly promoting it.
Helen Boaden is fine with this, of course. No problem.
“If only it had been an anti-monarchy uprising. We’d all have been out there with bricks in hand.”
So what is stopping you then you BBC slimball? The Fascist police? Daily Mail readers? The fact that your cheques from the British taxpayer may not arrive?
The funny thing is that there is aboslutely NOTHING new or devastating about the letter…it just says someone high-up (well I think we had months of the same shit before but I guess the BBC need to keep pushing this agenda.
Note the BBC solely focussed on NI, no mention of The Guardian and it’s Police Mole sources, Mirror Group hacking, it’s like only the NotW is in the spotlight. Of course bBC are controlling where the spotlight falls, and 75% of the population don’t know any better, as the BBC won’t tell them.
While the BBC will undoubtedly enjoy collective tumescence at the prospect of another round of News International, Murdoch, Brooks and Coulson bukkake, it is not alone in its obsession. The pack is in full throttle.
The Mail (owned by Associated Newspapers), The Independent (Independent Print Limited, prop. Russian oligarch, media mogul and ex-KGB spy Alexander Lebedev*), The Telegraph (the Telegraph Group), The Express (Express Newspapers, prop. pron merchant Richard Desmond) and The Guardian (the heavily BBC- and state-subsidised Guardian Media Group) are all weighing in.
Now, why should these newspapers and broadcasters show any interest in the downfall of Rupert Murdoch? There couldn’t possibly be a modicum of self-interest involved here?
*It’s shocking that a bloody foreigner should buy numerous British newspapers to expand his political influence and use them as work experience for his kids, isn’t it? Well, isn’t it?
Today we have see the official rate of inflation rise to 4.4% in the UK.
Where is the BBC’s economics editor Stephanie floundering Flanders? Shouldn’t she be online telling us that there is no inflation and that anyway it does not matter because the BBC pension scheme is index-linked?
Whilst she is at it she could remind us of her view from May that the Greek bail out is going well.
The affirmation of the US ‘AAA’ sovereign rating reflects the fact that the key pillars of US’s exceptional creditworthiness remains intact: its pivotal role in the global financial system and the flexible, diversified and wealthy economy that provides its revenue base. Monetary and exchange rate flexibility further enhances the capacity of the economy to absorb and adjust to ‘shocks’.
Translation: As bad off as we are, the US isn’t the Eurodisasterzone.
The bBC, and how leaving out salient snippets of information from its so called News reports helps promote its anti-Semitic stance in the UK.
Israeli air strikes on Gaza after rocket hits Beersheba Israel has carried out a series of air strikes on the Gaza Strip, after militants in the Hamas-run territory fired a rocket into southern Israel. One Palestinian was killed and at least five others were wounded, Palestinian health officials said. Some of the pre-dawn strikes targeted an area east of Gaza City, they said
So the nasty Jews slotted a peaceful follow of Islam did they. I mean according to the bBC they did. Here is what the bBC doesn’t tell you. That rocket was a Grad. These are provided for by Iran and have a Steel-ball lethal and blasting warhead from 40 to 90Kgs.
OH I forgot to mention that man who died and 2 of those who were injured here’s what the bBC kind of left out of their little Israel is Evil article: In a fifth air strike, the IAF targeted a squad of terrorists planning to carry out mortar attacks on Israel moments before their attack. The IAF foiled those attempts, confirming a direct hit. Hamas sources said three gunmen involved in firing rockets at Israel were hit in the first air strike, east of Gaza City. One of the gunmen later died of his injuries, they said.
The bBC, and how leaving out salient snippets of information from its so called News reports helps promote its anti-Semitic stance in the UK.
Many BBC apologists claim that attacking the policy of the State of Israel is not anti-semitism, it’s just attcking a “rogue” state that desreves it. However, choosing Israel whilst ignoring the fact that ALL of their neighbours commit far worse atrocities can only lead to one conclusion: anti-semitism on the BBC’s part. Compounded by selectively reporting facts, and couching each sides claims in a different way to achieve a different effect in the listener, only increases their guilt. The BBC is an institutionally anti-semitic organisation and they must be stopped before they contribute to another holocaust.
If nothing else, it clearly fuels anti-Jewish sentiment, and re-inforces the notion that – contrary to the bien pensant declaration about Mohammedans and Islamic terrorism – all Jews everywhere should be held accountable if they support Israel, and deserve any misfortune that comes there way because of it.
After the “riots” it is at least familair to us all isn`t it?
No game-changer epochal stuff here now-back to anti-Israel diatribes-slyly of course-and to bashing Rupert.
It`s what the BBC are most practiced in…been doing it for years!
That Peston swans in as if he`s Alan Greenspan…without any business experience whatsoever I`d guess…only makes me glad to see that the “boys are here to entertain you”.
Glad to meet “the gang”…Orla, Pesto,Sweeney and Mr LaDiDah Gunner Graham!
It ain`t half hot mum…global warming you b*****s!
I think that somewhere deep down even the most commited of BBC welfare multiculturalists realised that with that incident in Birmingham we came within a Mullah’s whisker of a real inter-racial bust up.
There are more than a few every month in London…reported as gang scuffles of course.
Robert Peston had come back on shift to blow on the embers of the phone hacking scandal. Sounds as if he is pleased to be back at the office.
This story seems to be more important for the BBC than were the one’s about a PM and his top pressman faking up intelligence dossiers so as take us to war, or a PM and his Chancellor taking a direct bribe into Labour Party funds to change policy in favour of motor racing and the tobacco industry.
Now I believe I just heard BBC News 24 tell me that the size of the Polish community on Jersey is ‘considerable’. And how come there are underemployed rioters in Salford and families without employment opportunities in Tottenham?
Hey BBC! Is there no one working there willing to join some of those dots?
Lots of good theology on the previous page re Mr Khan.
Clearly a godly man, but the BBC are always happy to get the “this is no time for vengeance” aspect of religious people!
Anthony Walkers mum comes to mind from 2005…and the dad in Enniskillen who had his daughter killed at the Remembrance Day bombing by the IRA in 1987.
My grouse is not with these saints…but the BBCs convenient peddling this trope in order to dampen down a natural wish for justice.
And now that is no longer on the table, the need turns to vengeance…but the BBC want only the suffering martyrs not those who rage at no justice and no honest impartial analysis of whatever went wrong.
The BBC are nothing if not utterly cynical. Mr Khan, Mrs Walker and Gordon Wilson are as useful to the Beebs agenda as Milly Dowler!
Only wish their losses weren`t in vain…but the BBC sees only where the story might fit to get at Cameron, Murdoch or whoever…
Did like Camerons idea about testing all his Government do from now on in terms of its effect on the family!
If that doesn`t bleed the BBC to its unlamented death I don`t know what will.
Any Panorama-any Tracy Beaker-any Prank Patrol-My Parents Are Aliens-need I go on?
The BBC hates the family. Think Robert Robertson was the last employee they had who ever asked the family anything!
The BBC now know that families only need gays next door, neighbours of any ethnicity but white and crave only feral yoof doing drugs but deserving of Simon Cowells football boots…and nothing less either!
To be an ordinary parent not auditioning for Jeremy Kyle is somehow a force of conservatism that the BBC will not commission…and so it cannot be of any use to anyone.
And especially kids…they need more TVs and digital inclusion…which was only what the rioters tried to tell us, albeit with an inarticulacy that did us no credit at all.
“Did like Camerons idea about testing all his Government do from now on in terms of its effect on the family!”
Apart from the crushing weight of eco green taxes suffocating the economy and making the lives of ordinary people. Fuel costs too high for people to bear, electricity/gas/heating oil all rising so fast that ordinary people cannot cope for much longer. Oh and the effect of EU red tape, EU immigration from poor EU nations is off the table.
Like all Camerons empty promises and hot air, look closer and it means nothing to the ordinary people of the UK. The result of the riots will simply mean that the political class will gleefully spend billions of pounds doing the wrong things for the wrong reasons at the wrong time while ignoring the real genuine pressures on ordinary working people.
Sorry Cassandra!
I know Cameron is a blowhard who`ll do nothing…a gas bubbling phoney who would no more “help the family” than Robert Robertson in his current predicament…and at least Robert DID ask things of the familty!
My only point was to get the BBC closed on its sheer failure to support any family but the Dimblebys, the Brigstockes and all the rest of those clinging like limpits to the rusted hulk of the BBC-in fact, only the limpits hold the thing together for the moment.
Promise you that is all that I meant…any possible endorsement of Cameron I might have inadvertedly given is my error!
Just want cBeebies gone…honest!
You forgot to mention the Kinnock family who have grown rich over the years from leaching from the taxpayer.
Keep it in the family? A bunch of elitist grasping bastards among tens of thousands of hypocritical upper middle class parasites, nothing too good for them, best private hospitals and schools, nannies and holiday houses and a series of lavsihly paid nonjobs tailor made just for them and their families. Thieving parasitical vermin? And all feel entitled to feed off the taxpayer as though it is their right.
May well be a Graspers Index to be had here!
I myself would put Matthew, Laurie and Charlie Taylor up at the top of the Synchronised Family Trough Surfing Competition…that an Olympic sport yet?
The Kinnocks certainly score highly…but Prescott and Sons of ” Oop North”…can`t reveal their locations for “planning reasons”-may yet prove Team EuroGBs best hope for 20102 and beyond!
A national conversation-with Esperanto translation-surely is due!
“BBC Worldwide pursues a strategy increasingly focused on international video and digital services,” said the BBC Worldwide chief executive, John Smith”
So bBC WW are dumping print-based consumer mags, so they can concentrate on lying electronically. What has the existence of BBC Worldwide got do with the business of being national broadcaster? I know it makes a profit, but so would running a whelk stall. BBC Jellied Eels anyone?
Note, though, that they’re keeping Top Gear and Lonely Planet and only outsourcing the publishing, while licensing the rest, which means they still make money off it while passing the risk to others. Very smart move.
How many jobs will that cost, though? As long as they’re not NUJ, I guess it’s no big deal.
Personally the bit I found most fascinating (perhaps the book provides real rather than circumstantial evidence) that the French financed the Stern Gang. The King David Hotel was blown up by Lehi, a different group but perhaps France was financing both?
The BBC’s Nick Highamlays the charge that neither Britain nor France brought anything of positive value to the Middle East. Still that’s BBC dogma isn’t it?
That story about the gay finches kept Victoria Gill busy:
“13 BBC local radio interviews about finches today. It’s not just me who’s fascinated by birdie love in all its forms.”
They love a bit of that in the regions. The BBC Local Radio Friends of Dorothy float is always the most fabulous at the pride parade. It’s just a shame David Gregory didn’t get in there first with a gay falcon story.
He claimed only 200 of the 5MW Ormonde windfarm turbines would be needed to equal the output of a conventional power station.
Two problems with that:
1) He completely neglects the fact they only generate 5MW when the wind is blowing at optimum speed. Averaged over a year you’d be luck to get 30% of this due to wind speed variability.
2) He’s falsely suggesting 200 x 5MW = 1GW is a typical conventional power station output. But a quick check on typical power station outputs on wikipedia shows 2GW is a more typical size for a coal-fired station. So he’s vastly overstating the wind output.
The one good thing his report did give was an idea of the huge scale of these 5MW turbines and their obvious huge cost – and he did suggest without giving any figures that this would contribute to price rises.
What Shukman can’t explain is what you do when those turbines are turning away at 3am and no one wants that electricity.
In the comments above even that up time of turbines might not be accurate as they will produce electricity when it’s not needed and unless you have some form of energy storage device, they are useless. It’s all right sticking these things in the sea, but if you put them in large wind farms and the wind isn’t blowing then the whole lot shut down.
What bothers me is the huge investment (that we will end up paying for) yet the goal of producing a practical commercial fusion reactor gets very little UK funding.
Shukman doesn’t understand the technical issues of balancing the electrical requirements of the nation.
I’m so off the wall on environmentalists and effective renewables, they make my blood boil.
Greenpeace tried to ban elements of the periodic table… these silly wind turbines, however do have the ability to store generated charge in huge capacitors that can be switched to deliver current later, when required. Nuclear is the answer, and with research and political balls will utterly torch the renewable argument.
Over winter tge figures for energy generation went like this: Coal 30 GW: Oil 24 GW : Nuclear – 22 gW… wait for it… wind 30 Mw.. ie.. practically zero
pfffff!
That was a day the wind didn’t blow much… The biased bbc angle is simple. On BBCs Look North 6 pm it was reported as fact. at 11 pm the figures were completely removed from the report.
i kid you not
Fine stuff!
When the banking crisis first hit us in 1910( the year of Men!) you will recall Mr Banks eventually DID manage to go forth and fly a kite up on the Heath…albeit one battered and torn!
Our Fred the Shreds these days would get a vast payoff from us lot-make us buy them a wind turbine then go up to the Heath and stick it somewhere that the Travelling community don`t require.
Would a blade turn?…even if all those BBC blowhards all puffed at the same time up there by the cottage?…nah!
Think I prefer Mary Poppins as she was…
I thought it was very generous of Shukman to let that wind power rep take as long as he needed to explain the dangers of continued use of fossil fuels. A commercial broadcast for his firm in the guise of news, all at your expense.
It might have been informative for Mr Shukman to tell us how much existing windfarms have actually produced compared to their theoretical output. Then we could have put this new white elephant into perspective.
Not a good couple of days for those of us who wince as Tory Ministers give the BBC what they wish.
I’ll just highlight one : Home Secretary May.
It’s like she’s fresh out of an expensive Swiss finnishing school and remarkably makes female characters from Shameless sagacious.
It’s not often you see Chief Constable’s loosing the will to live, but in keeping with them, watching BBC news – I felt sorry for the thin blue line.
Cameron is a gift to the BBC, but May is double wrapped double buffooned endowment that makes any hope for her salvation some-what “iffy”.
Or if you like : She hasn’t got a clue what is going on, and when the BBC finally work that out, they will no doubt report about her in a friendly unbiased fashion.
But I’m sorry – but she deserves it !
The turbines pictured above are now part of the Ormonde wind farm, built by Swedish-based energy firm Vattenfall. The site, located off the Cumbrian coast, has 30 of the five-megawatt turbines in total and should be able to power around 100,000 homes.
A new offshore windfarm, a hugely expensive white elephant with turbines made offshore, blades made offshore, towers made offshore, profits from the gigantic subsidies going offshore. It really is an offshore windfarm isnt it? A tiny handful of jobs created for the hundreds of millions of taxpayers money squandered.
Does the BBC explain the mechanics of the deal where a foreign firm rips off the British taxpayer? The BBC does include a graph on relative costs FROM 2009 and inludes the now well known lie about reduced costs for windfarms in the future, the costs will not go down they will go up. “the government hopes that costs will go down to one hundred pounds/MWh by 2020” Huuuh? A halving of relative costs in just 8yrs? Are they mental or what! And after that impossible promise it will still be more expensive than gas.
It is left to EUFEFERENDUM to fill in the gaps left by the BBC, why A BILLION POUND news empire leaves such gaps is beyond me.
What is remarkable about this project is the massive cost. Built at an estimated £500m, that is equivalent to roughly £3.3 billion per GW of installed capacity. Furthermore, while the developers – the Swedish power company Vattenfall – are claiming an optimistic load factor of 38 percent, with the annual production of 500 GWh, that still works out at less than half the average load factor of a nuclear installation, giving a net equivalent cost of £7.4 billion per GW.
If one were to deliver the entire renewables quota of 20 percent by this means – roughly 20GW delivered – the cost by 2020 would be in the order of £150 billion, not counting the infrastructure cost and the provision of spooling back-up – bringing the overall total close to £180 billion.
Those figures somehow left out of the BBC report are tuly staggering and those are based on the extremely rosy figure of 38% load factor when th real figure will be around 25%. And even the tiny amount generated at massive cost will be useless because a conventional power plant will have to be online backing up the windfarm 24/7 and for long periods the windfarm will be a net user of electricity.
“Strangely enough, while the BBC is keen enough to supply data on building costs, it provides no details on the subsides extracted” says EUREF. A foreign profiteer ripping off the UK taxpayer and the BBC are silent. The BBC slavishly pimp the fake statistic of the windfarm poweering 100.000 homes, it will of course do no such thing, if you tried to hook up a windfarm to a town you would be subject to constant power cuts and spikes that would blow every fuse in the house. The 100.000 figure will in time work out at about 20.000 or less and whts worse is the BBC knows this working on figures available from existing windfarms.
Why is the BBC allowed to get away with what amounts to bare faced lies and a cover up of a giant fraud? Once again a one man band in the form of EUREFERENDUM manages to find the truth where a billion pound news empire cannot. This is why the BBC are evil, this is why the BBC are criminal in intent and action.
“Interesting” item on BBC Look North last night about underaged girls being groomed for sex and in some cases bing kept drugged in flats. There were some interviews with victims family members and a charity that works in this area. However the Beeb seemed unable to identify which group of the population is responsible for these crimes or to ponder why. Instead we were told the culprits were MEN with no more detail than that. Oddly this crime takes place the most in West Yorkshire and hardly ever in North Yorkshire which is weird given both counties population is 50% men. For some reason the Beeb wasn’t going to think to deeply about that one 🙂
Incidentally the charity appeared to be doing good work but appeared to get most of its money directly from the local council who were going to cut its funding. The charity was outraged and I do wonder if they were the driving force between the item in an attempt to pressure the council. Like many “charities” these days they didn’t even seem to comprehend that they could raise money directly from the public.
To me, bodies that get their funding from money forcibly extracted from taxpayers are not charities, regardless of how worthy their work is. They are simply extensions of the social services. A true charity asks people directly to fund it.
Yes; Islam Not BBC (INBBC) does not investigate the nature of many sex crimes committed by ‘Mxxxxx’ gangs ( to INBBC, the ‘M’ word becomes, inaccurately, ‘Asian’).
If INBBC were to do so, it would realise that the English Defence League is on to something, and that would never fit the INBBC presumptions.
“2,000 EDL protesters gather on Blackpool Promenade”
George – I was waiting for them to be identified as “Asians” but they weren’t even going to do that this time and weren’t going beyond “men”. You would laugh it weren’t so serious.
BBC up to its old tricks again. Miffed at being unable to keep calling rioters “protesters”, payback time, “Some sentences too severe” for those riots in nasty old England
“Some of the sentences given to those involved in last week’s riots in England are criticised as too harsh by MPs and campaigners”
Let’s see who says “too severe”
Three professional bleeding hearts:
The Howard League for Penal Reform (CEO improbable name of Frances Crook)
Prison Reform Trust
Justice (quoted from the Guardian)
One MP: Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake
One lawyer: John Cooper QC – “shortlisted as Human Rights Barrister of the Year 2008”
Out of this confection bBC contrive one headline “(Some) sentences too severe” Perhaps “Public say some sentences not severe enough” might be more appropriate but that is not how bBC thinks.
Wet blankets, bleeding hearts, soggy tissues and leaking tear ducts screaming “consciences for sale or rent”…won`t somebody collect all this moisture and squeeze it all into the BBCs pond?
Should raise the reservoir levels…and if we add all the wee produced as they try to showhorn “Toricutz made me do it Jeremy” into the mouths of thugs outside court-then the lilies won`t wilt for lack of the wet stuff!

Another revealing tweet from a BBC journalist.

No problem.

Still no blog for a week good value…

The Fitch ratings agency (one of the top ones) has re-affirmed a AAA rating for the US.

Israeli air strikes on Gaza after rocket hits Beersheba
Israel has carried out a series of air strikes on the Gaza Strip, after militants in the Hamas-run territory fired a rocket into southern Israel.
OH I forgot to mention that man who died and 2 of those who were injured here’s what the bBC kind of left out of their little Israel is Evil article:
In a fifth air strike, the IAF targeted a squad of terrorists planning to carry out mortar attacks on Israel moments before their attack.

More eco-lies from Shukman on BBC news at 10pm.
So by any fair analysis, to match the output of a 2GW coal-fired station you’d need:
( 2GW coal-fired output * 85% uptime ) / ( 5MW x 30% availability ) = 1100 turbines.
And of course you’d still need the 2GW conventional station to provide backup power for the 70% of time the wind is blowing too fast or too slow.
So Shukman’s lying by a factor of 550%. He’s a 550% lier.

Over winter tge figures for energy generation went like this: Coal 30 GW: Oil 24 GW : Nuclear – 22 gW… wait for it… wind 30 Mw.. ie.. practically zero
pfffff!

I thought it was very generous of Shukman to let that wind power rep take as long as he needed to explain the dangers of continued use of fossil fuels. A commercial broadcast for his firm in the guise of news, all at your expense.
But at least your wind turbines aren’t decimating the population of golden eagles every year like they do near San Francisco. Green is murder!

It might have been informative for Mr Shukman to tell us how much existing windfarms have actually produced compared to their theoretical output. Then we could have put this new white elephant into perspective.
But that might have destroyed the narrative.

The BBC upto its old tricks again?
