Don’t worry, the BBC made sure they couldn’t be called biased because his Twitter says ‘the views contained here are not those of the BBC/endorsed by the Corporation‘…
Considering that bastion of left-wing activism, the ACLU, has even stated that the Obama administration has been more restrictive on liberty and freedom than the Bush administration, then perhaps Bob Ballard thinks that Obama might win?
Still waiting for a defender of the indefensible to show us a non-Left partisan Tweet from a Beeboid. Putting that “these are my personal views” disclaimer is surely part of what the BBC taught them in that social media training course, at £100 of the license fee per head.
If they are all of the Left – yeah, yeah, except Robinson and Neil – how can there not be an ideological self-affirming groupthink at the BBC?
Robinson has certainly been turned and I have my suspicions about Neal too, unless he keeps his real opinions quiet to ensure he carries on receiving his fat BBC pay-cheque.
I don’t believe that Robinson is really of the Left politically, but he is definitely compromised as an honest broker of news and information about Westminster. He’s made it obvious time and time again that he protects politicians and keeps shtum or passes false information along to protect his status as an insider, at the expense of the public.

“Ideological self-affirming groupthink” – perfect!
and 100% accurate.
If the Beeb is worried I’m happy. 😀
The BBC are certainly thorough – even sports reporters have to come from the left!!
Bob has seen the Republican line-up for next year’s presidential elections, has he?
What a scoop! Has he told Mark Mardell?
He’s clearly wasted in sport.
I kind of understand his sentiments, though – I feel the same whenever I see the Labour line-up.
