THAT DAMNABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH

Have you been enjoying BBC exasperation today that the economic figures have been BETTER than they were hoping for? All day long there has been a series of pundits having to repeat the GDP growth through gritted teeth before reverting to the Ed Balls mantra inanity that the growth isn’t really growth and the ONLY way we can get our economy going forwards is…Vote Labour!

If compared the the 100 years after the Norman invasion, or the reign of henry VIII, it hardly counts as growth at all.

        Or something.

Hilarious that, when Labour were in power , they always accused the Tories of “talking the economy down ”   !

Yes I noticed the BBC gave us a brief sound bite from the Government then we got THREE negative views, the former Labour party bike Flanders, Ed Testicles himself spouting the SAME old rubbish and then some bloke from the MPC.

Old Labour bike Flanders keeps prattling on about how we will never get back the growth we lost. Well yes Steph that’s because it’s a recession, we never got back the growth from any recession as any uptake in the economy will always be that minus what you lost in the recession. Not very bright is she?

I’m sure she’s good in the sack though, well at least if your name is Ed.

Two Ed’s Steph continues to peddle the Liebore line that we need MORE public spending to grow the economy, sure let’s borrow even more money.. oh hang on we’ll end up like Greece, but that’s OK. Greece is a great socialist model.

The current growth might be slow but it’s REAL growth and not based on the Labour party simply handing out billions to employ more lesbian nappy advisor’s.

I’m also still waiting for the BBC to ask the unwashed scum outside St Paul’s why they were not protesting back in 2008 when the one eyed queen from Fife was bailing out the banks by the billion, the only protesters were the thousands lined up outside the Bradford and Bingley and Northern Crock.

I do not remember the BBC being as negative when the figures were so bad in 2008, 2009 when we were at the depths of the worst, longest and deepest recession since the great depression.  I have noticed commentators now ignoring reality completely and talking about how families are trying to cope with the recession, as if we are still in such a thing.  Oddly enough back in 2008 the BBC were at pains to announce that it was not a recession unless we had two consecutive quaters of negative growth.  When we did have that 6 months of negative growth, they were still not sure we were actually in a real recession.  Then when it got even deeper, they were at pains to blame the Americans.

Now the BBC are blaming the tory savage cuts and austerity for the lack of confidence that their 24/7/365 doom-mongering combined with the EU economic incompetence, has created.

So does this mean that the last half dozen times the BBC gave Balls free air time to say that the economy was stagnant and the Tories got it wrong, it was just a load of Labour crap?

The Eurocrisis?…St Pauls twaddle?…and now the economic figures.
The BBC-along with their bedfellows in Nulabor-would never let facts get in the way of their “message”…the script is written and they themselves can do no other.
They have no Plan B for themselves…after thirteen years of the greatest economic collapse in history, after endless wars, after losing tax discs, after the greatest series of incompetents and malicious misfits EVER to be let loose on the nations finances…need I go on?
And yet…after eighteen months or so…albeit a useless bunch of tossers as well…it is all the Coalitions fault?
Those last thirteen years?…we are where we are…Balls and Co know nothing about any of it…draw a line under it all and vote the firestarters back in to finish the arson!
Luckily, these oilrags just chirrup pointlessly to themselves…but we should NOT have to pay to hear them take the mickey out of us all!

Unfortunately they do not just chirrup to themselves. The vast majority of the British public still believe what the BBC tells them is the news. They have been brought up to believe that the BBC is unbiased and the BBC know and use that misplaced faith.

And this morning on Today they were speculating on the figures – 15mins in an evil banker from Deutsche Bank gets the optimistic figure to be released later right and explains clearly why NO plan B is necessary.

Strange how this “Stefanomics” analysis misses this.

BBC-NUJ conveniently forgets to mention the enormous elephant in the European Union room, when referring to UK’s economic growth situation.

It’s as though BBC-NUJ compartmentalises both geography and history (including Labour’s economic failures) in its blinkered approach.

Of course, we get Mason’s Marxism on Greece, but there’s more economic insight here:
