Pienaar’s analysis seemed to bear little resemblance to the words and content that I heard. Pienaar suggested it was all a big mistake, confusion not conspiracy on Clark’s side…..I heard a man desperately trying to avoid any blame being attached to him, one who did not maintain a consistent story, one moment saying he allowed in passengers on grounds of health and safety, the next on the pretext of increasing higher security checks on higher risk passengers.
Pienaar seemed to be enamoured of Clark…..’The very model of a Whitehall civil servant with his steel grey hair and metal rimmed glasses. He’s choosing his words very carefully and the measured, cool Scottish accent just adds to the impression of a safe pair of hands who was doing nothing that he shouldn’t have been doing.’….and seemed determined to present him in as good a light as possible….essentially a good man doing his best to do a good job in difficult circumstances until unfairly having his reputation and professionalism brought into question by a scheming Tory politician.
This is Pienaar massaging the truth and subtly changing the perspective to give a radically different view of events favourable to Clark and designed to sandbag Theresa May by implication.
Pienaar does not shout his allegiances from the roof tops but they are there if you care to look…and I would judge they are clearly championing Labour’s narrative.
Need to take an s out of Osborne in the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs.
Pienaar does sound cool, calm and collected; perfect to fool the listeners.

Well like Dame Nikki (also someone who fancied himself as the new Paxman) Pinhead hands out lots of oral blowjobs to Liebore politicians on Radio, he like Campbell uses first names for Balls and other Liebore dross but Tories are just addressed by surname.
Um I think you will find I dump on Pinhead most days of the week. He’s the natural lefty cheerleader on Radio 5. Pinhead’s politics on a Sunday is a real hoot.
It was Pinhead who stated on Radio 5 after the coalition formed that it was ‘their job’ to find tohse cracks in the coalition and foce them wide open.
The BBC with Radio 5 leading have been at it for 28 months, often making up stories and exagerating ‘splits’
Pinhead was interviewing some people about the public sector strikes etc. When some woman he did a vox pop with was opposed to the strikes he shouted her down with “you’re a Tory!” as if somehow that was like being a kiddie fiddler.
Pinhead never outs people as being Liebore supporters when they attack the Government.

Pienaar is typical BBC, he pitches his tent firmly on leftist territory. His idea of political discussion tends to run along the usual BBC lines of an in-house left-wing debate that only ever agonises about where the left goes from here.
He supports all the BBC great truths: Public good, private bad, the NHS is sacrosanct, membership of the EU is the only option, immigration is a good thing, etc….
Any ideas falling outside of these guidelines are to be stiffled.
Like the rest of the BBC he has switched from a position of acting as propaganda wing of Government to unofficial opposition.
Today for example he was again indulging his recent habitual trait of joshing the Libdems.
He chats with Paddy Ashdown and of course the only question Pinhead is dying to ask is ‘would you go into coalition with Labour?’
The Beeb will do all they can to attack the Libs now but – mark my words – come the General Election campaign they will let up on Cleggy and give him a helping hand (most Libdem MPs are in straight fights with Tories).
