SAILING

Gay advocacy is another perpetual BBC theme and it is picked up in this story being given great prominence on the main news portal this morning;

“Two female US sailors have become the first same-sex couple to share the traditional dockside “first kiss” since the US ended a ban on gays in the army.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta, who had been at sea for 80 days, won the right to be the first person to kiss her partner on shore in a raffle. The couple said the moment had been “a long time coming”. The US Army’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy was lifted in September, after years of debate.”

Now, I have nothing against Petty Officer Gaeta or her partner, but the entire tone of this BBC story is all about presenting the axing of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” as the very epitome of enlightenment. And that is only one side of the story. It seems to me that the BBC sees gay advocacy as central to its mission to inform and that is something that should be relentlessly challenged.

    I have no problem with women who prefer fish fingers to meat and two veg or the other way round for men. What I do object to is this wall to wall promotion of an idilic homosexual lifestyle you know the one the beeb try shoving up my arse and down my throat any chance it gets and tells me not to complain about the pain as I would be a homophobe if I do.

    Just to show how much of a non story it is, it is legal in the western world for same sex couples to live together. Now compare how the bbC reports that story with this story about how a gay Muslim who got married in Ireland has lead to the malay government demanding he be brought back for……re-education.

    Of course, its far easier to accuse western countries of homophobia by the likes of the bbC than whispering about how homophobia is written into the DNA of Islam.

    Meanwhile the bBC continues with its manta of just bend over and take I what I give you in which to promote its gay agenda everywhere that is other than Islamic countries.

    At the end of the day this is only allowed so long as the military authorities ignore the law. Homosexuality is still illegal under the unifrom code of justice and only an act of Congress can change that, not the President.

    I`m guessing that Australia, USA and Britain have decided that Islamic nutters will fear a gay or woman on her peroid far more than our iPod matelots that Iran did well to show us all in 2007.
    A cunning ploy here…and we might lose Allan Carr for a few years as well, as he does his Bob Hope schtick to the boys(and of course, all manner of other rainbow genders and levels of disabilities too).
    If we could lose Carr, Norton etc….then we could do a reprise of the Falklands with a chorus of Evita….that ought to scare the macho men of Rosario etc!

    Not only did it give BBC the chance to do the usual to advance homosexuality but they also realise that lesbians titillate a sizeable proportion of male readers.

        Well clearly David Vance cares, or he wouldn’t have brought it up. I agree though, his repeated dismissal of gay people is very boring.

    Of course homosexuality is ‘normal’ just like alcoholism is ‘normal’ but you wouldn’t go around promoting the virtues of being an alcoholic, would you?
