Wonder if you caught this item on the BBC this morning on the situation in Nigeria? It is a remarkable instance of pro-Islam propaganda. It talks about the “increasing tension between Christians and Muslins” but the fact is that it is Islamic Jihadists in Boko Haram that is driving the violence and the Emir interviewed talks of an Islam that is not recognisable in this country.

They seem to be enthralled by their false vision of benign Islamic exotica, and whereas a protest will be held in this country demanding one secular law for all next month, I somehow feel that this, if it attracts any attention from the BBC, will be covered dismissively and defensively. The clue is in the name-Boko Hamra means “Western views are forbidden”, according the BBC man there for us in Kano.

I know its off topic but given that the Radio 2 mentioned the 370,000 immigrant benefit recipients yesterday morning I was surprised (well not really) actually I was disgusted that, as far as I can recall it didn’t even rate a mention on the 6pm news. Though they did manage to mention the hardship caused by the rent cap to some (presumably) Portuguese (though probably Brazilian) national that had to move out because she couldn’t afford the rent.

1.) a refusal to record the centuries long history of ISLAMIC IMPERIALIST violence and conquest from the north;

‘Tensions between Christians and Muslims’ is an interesting way to describe the systematic slaughter of Christians by Muslims.
Imagine this headline in WWII to describe the rounding up of Jews and sending them to concentration camps:
