The rain in Spain may stay mainly on the plain but here in Britain it means we don’t have a BBQ summer and inflation drops as people don’t buy a new summer wardrobe….as the BBC’s Stephanie Flanders informs us….
Wet weather helps Bank’s inflation forecast
The Bank of England’s inflation forecast is looking better than it has for a long time – it may partly have the weather to thank.
So good news on inflation is nothing to do with the government…how different it was when the government said that the massive snowfall we had last year lead to a drop in GDP as people couldn’t get to work or to the shops.
That claim was roundly denounced and mocked throughout the BBC…Victoria Derbyshire even went so far as to put together a montage of clips of George Osborne talking about the weather just to mock him…because of course he was talking complete and utter nonsense and just making excuses for his failed economic policies….wasn’t he.
I’d put that BBC attitude down to blatant political bias…much the same as they treated Bush…but it could just be complete ignorance on Derbyshire’s part.
Racial loyalty?
So when whites in the UK shout out;
“There ain’t no black in the Union Jack”
That is now acceptable. Quite rightly obnoxious views like that are given short shrift.
Yet when Blacks play the racist card and lets be serious here it is racism pure and simple.
However that is deemed acceptable because they are deemed a minority.
That people is why people in the UK are gravitating to the far right . Because in this so called age of equality for all, Blacks and Asians (read Muslim) have more rights than anybody else and the majority population not only feel disfranchised . They are openly coming out with if you are going to call me a racist, I may at least be one.

You might be on dodgy ground there. I believe Clarkson et al, along with Dr Who, are the main reason the bbc make over £40m profit from their worldwide division. It could probably be argued that Clarkson is, or at least has been, a sound investment for licence payers.

“it could just be complete ignorance on Derbyshire’s part” Oh, it’s always safe to blame Thicky Vicky’s ignorance. She’s pretty dim, even by R5 standards

The rain must be having some sort of effect, a major one I would have thought: tourists are here anyway but nearly every pub and restaurant/cafe with outside tables will have had a massive drop in expected earnings.

Why would I ever listen to Flanders?…as wrong headed and serially stupid a “economics editor” as I can recall.
The Euro-Ireland-the Greek bail out…you name it and she calls it wrong.
If Stef tells you to look out for China…it`ll be Chad, she`ll have meant.
The poor sod not only slept with all manner of Labour suckups if rumours are true, but she doesn`t even know that polling stations open on Thursdays, not Wednesdays.
And-as soon as I recognised the other fool of choice for the BBC_Will Hutton-on the trailer(yes, that`s how narrow the pool of talent is that the Beeb asks for any “comment”); I knew that this stinker of a show comes in its own body bag.
And guess which politician of the moment was asked to explain her “place of her own” as I drove home tonight?yes, folks…Shirley bloody Williams.
Apparently she has a few places that she calls home-but the BBC radio car/TV studios weren`t mentioned.
That lazy liberal lollard is the dream girl for the BBC wannabe rebels and fik lefties….hence the pensioners pass for any BBC vehicle/car crash that she deigns to attend.
F888 the BBC….

Really?
“UK economy suffers 0.5% contraction.”
“The severe weather hit activity in the quarter…”

Or as Stephanie Flanders informed you at the time:
“As Joe Grice, the chief economist at the ONS points out, this figure needs to be treated with even more caution than usual – thanks to the weather.”
