The BBC has its own clear agenda on crime which is advanced on a daily basis. Here we have a Biased BBC reader picking up on one strand of this bias.

These are the lowest rates since 1983, which is not something I anticipate the BBC connecting with Thatcher being in government. Not only do they hate the woman (as confirmed by Mark Thompson) but it would also seem to cast doubt on the theory that poverty causes crime. And we are often given accounts of what a terrible Dickensian society Britain turned into in the 1980s. In fact, one look at the graph shows crime at its very worse under New Labour.

A friend of mine had her number plates stolen.
She went to report the crime at the police station, but the person at the front desk could accept her crime report because she was off duty and there was nobody “on-duty”.
That would kind of help to keep crime statistics down.

Daughter’s friend had her bag picked in London on the underground. As she couldnt state precisely between which tube stations it had been picked the police claimed they couldnt file a report! Outrageous. Luckily being tenacious she took the online route which accepted her report and allocated a crime number.

When ZaNuLieBor were in misgovernment Al JaBeeBa were forever pushing the BCS ‘thought crime’ statistics as they appeared then to be on a downward trend, whilst under-reporting the actual violent crime figures, which were rising. They did the same with burglary/car crimes, where better security reduced crime across the civilised globe. To them, the reduction was always the result of the actions of the misgovenment of the day.
No surprise now that REAL violent crimes are falling, despite many more being committed by immigrants, that Al JaBeeBa says that it is due to worldwide factors.
