Justin Webb and Co always have a pop at the American ‘Right’, or what they categorise as ‘Right’…..those who like to hunt, fish, like pickup trucks and hamburgers…and are Christian. If they come from the South, and are white, or from the ‘Bible Belt’, all the more fun for the city slickers on the Today programme.
I know who I would rather chew the cud with given the choice:
The Cowgirl from Oklahoma ‘Born and raised in the country, I Love wide open spaces. Enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, and any form of outdoor cooking, hot, warm and cold smoking. Preserving what I hunt, catch, raise or forage. I enjoy being able to provide food for my table. I’m thankful for each day and will never take anything for granted.’
And she is a great cook. (Scroll right down).
Blond, white and coming from Oklahoma, the ‘Beltbuckle’ of the Bible Belt, having dubious hobbies and interests she is clearly someone to be denied a vote and a voice. Can’t really see her being invited onto the Today programme for her views on politics unlike the string of left wing actors, writers, artists and singers who are brought in to provide a human face and ‘street cred’ to the BBC’s anti-Bush/Romney or pro-Obama machinations as nobody really trusts dodgy journalists however famous they are.
The BBC ethos is, “All men are created equal”, this Creationist ideology is also the founding principal of the American civil rights movement. So the BBC differs from my opinion that Evolution through the process of natural selection has no exceptions. So yes BBC, Creationists are idiots.

Beeboids do not believe that ‘all men are born equal.’ They may occationally support such nonsense but they definately do not believe it.
Oh no. The BBC believes it is way above everyone else and everything it does and says is for our own good. That’s the greater good, you understand.
They believe they are our superiors in every way. Never forget that.

For the best-ever send-up of sanctimonious, self-aggrandising, intellectually-challenged, left-wing American actors, watch ‘Team America – World Police’.

Not recommended if you have a weak heart or weak bladder. FAG etc, great stuff. Best vomit scene ever 🙂

I have to agree with the vomit – the comic timing is superb.
However, it is the only ‘right-wing’ Hollywood film you are ever likely to see.

I just don’t know how the BBC get away with their ludicrous bias; it’s getting bloody worse as well, especially after the Olympics. They have a renewed Left-wing vigor, and have begun what can be only called an all-out multicultural assault on the British people.
PS. Did anyone bother to watch that program on BBC 1 tonight, Is Football Racist? For goodness sakes, why can’t they just bloody leave it alone… we are all ‘waycist’ according to the BBC… and they will not rest until the white, heterosexual, England-supporting, Christian male is consigned to the dustbin of history; over my dead body!

Not sure the BBC will be discussing this on Newsnight…

Looks like she got it… all.

Wonder how many of those taxi fares were to get her from Manchester Piccadilly to Salford Quays – a route, as lot of people know, which is served by a very good public transport system (one of those ‘faves’ of the BBC).
As for claiming that 2-quid cash machine fee back – how much is she on again?

For the sake of my blood pressure, I just didn’t bother watching it as I know exactly where it would be coming from.

Webb and co have always written cliches about the American south – summed up by their indiscriminate use of the word “evangelical”. I’m sure he, Mardell and co don’t really know what that term means. But they are slightly out of date. Think about this: if Mitt Ronmey (Mormon) and Paul Ryan (Roman Catholic) win the White House they will join four Catholics and four Jews on the supreme court – making this the first time in US history that a Protestant has not been leading the United States.
(For the record, Obama’s First Church of Christ is pure liberation theology thanks to Jeremiah Wright and Biden is a “Catholic” in name only.)
Webb is like a beached whale, out of touch with the twenty-first century – or as Joe Biden calls it “the twentieth century”.

If you want to see real viceral dislike, try introducing a beeboid to a charming ex public school pupil, with perfect manners, who just happens to be a redneck by choice.
There are some very bitter and twisted puppies working for the bbc !

Nothing to do with BBC fear of the American ‘Christian right’ but on the subject of Light Relief…..or comedy…
The weather has been fairly benign in recent weeks so BBC reports have had to forgo all that These-Are-The-Last-Days, The-Worst-We’ve-Ever-Witnessed, Since-Records-Began.
Last night I decided that I would forgo Newsnight fronted by whispery earnest plump and pink-tied Eddie Mair lecturing me on what the Government had done wrong today.
Channel 4 were screening a show with cheery northern comic Peter Kaye.
His routine about his Father’s reaction to a sudden rain storm struck a chord. He would insist his kids join him at the window to observe the downpour. ‘…Come and look at this, it’s coming down in buckets!’
And then there was Peter Kay’s Gran….’It’s the worst rain I’ve ever seen!’
‘What do you mean the worst rain you’ve ever seen….how can it be the worst rain you’ve ever seen?….you’re 89!’
Think about that the next time it rains a bit and the anorak-clad BBC foot soldiers stick a microphone under the nose of some old dear oop north whilst global warming enthusiast news editors keen to enforce a meme put such unqualified nonsense to air.
Next up a repeat on BBC4 of a show about Bob Monkhouse which revealed how the lefty media establishment of the 1980s mugged his career because he supported Margaret Thatcher.

Surely you have confused media. It’s the Daily Express which constantly runs preposterous weather stories. The BBC use the Met Office who are probably as objective as it’s possible to be unless I’ve missed the pinko islamic loving subversive message in colours they use.

Indeed.

So you have never noticed any BBC news reports on the subject of unusual weather conditions? Beeboid under an umbrella reacting as if he/she were in Vietnam? Interviewing some local rambling on until the Beeb get their money shot – “The worst I’ve ever seen, and I’ve lived here since I was a lad!”
All backed up with a quote from the Met Office…”The worst wet Wednesday in Arbroath since records began!”

Also – watch out for their proof of the gathering ‘global weather catastrophe’ with the use of phrases like “…and it’s been the worst [insert weather condition] for nearly 60 years”.
Presumably that means there were even worse conditions 60 years ago, then.

The Daily Express runs preposterous weather stories for both sides of the argument. The BBC runs preposterous weather stories for the warmist side only, silly JAH.

But any court trial for Ferdinand as well though, like Terry? – No, of course not, don’t be bloody daft! Terry’s a yuky vanilla coloured honky, there’s a difference.

Now the Olympics are done and dusted I would like to analyse a couple of programmes the BBC showed prior to the games. The theme was higher faster etc. and concentrated on African/American West Indian and Kenyan athletes.
The first was about the dominance of the aforementioned athletes in sprinting. The model for this was the excellent Michael Johnson a bastion of common sense and gravity compared with the wittering Lewis and (whatsisname?) Jackson in the BBC commentary team.
Disappointingly, the programme was not so much about science and explanation but more a ‘Who do you think you are? And we had a history lesson in slavery.
The conclusion was that survival of the fittest had produced a race of sprinters. The only science of the programme revealed that Johnson’s DNA was 7/8 s from Senegal.
We were not told where the remaining eighth came from, which is a pity as Senegal has not produced a single Olympic sprinter as far as I know!
So no mention of fast twitch fibres which East Coast Africans have a greater proportion of than other Africans and the rest of us; no mention of foot length in particular longer toes and relatively short tibias all of which contribute to superior leg speed and leverage.
So, no real science, it is due to surviving the truly terrible conditions of transportation and slavery.
Should be some fit Australians!
A quick summary of the programme about the dominance of Kenyans in middle and long distance running. This was all due to hard work and dedication. Living at altitude was brushed over, and no mention of those lithe muscles having a higher tolerance of lactic acid than other races which is the real reason, or was when I read about some 25years ago.
Are we not allowed to know the science behind the achievements of these wonderful atheletes? What is the BBC scared of?
