Last week as the BBC were praising Mohammed Morsi for having removed the Army from powerful government positions the Muslim Brotherhood supporters were on the rampage against Christians and those who dared to leave Islam.

What they did was a calculated act of inimidation ‘pour encourager les autres’ and frighten non-believers (an extreme form of a more general modus operandi acceptable to many- possibly most -Muslims) and legal, under sharia law.

No thanks. Out of curiosity about Islam and its anything BUT equality preaching book, I watched such a video (of an American hostage) on the internet years ago, or somehow managed to stomach watching about 95% of it anyway. – Never again!

The BBC makes no secret of its hostility and contempt regarding the EDL and gives less than minimal information about the grievances it expresses. It seeks o discredit the EDL while giving ample time to Muslim propagandists and going well out of its way to prevent Islam from being criticised. This sanitising (and, occasionally, glorification of of an ideology, many of the tenets of which the British public would not even regard as respectable, if they were told the truth) extends to its coverage of foreign affairs.

The title “Maybe the EDL isn’t so bad after all” is clearly a reference to the hostile way in which the Leftist BBC report the (generally working class) EDL in contrast to the relatively sympathetic way they report (or do not report) the views and activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, but since you can read you already know that, and pretend not to understand.
Many of the comments (including my own) are a response to Nicked Emus’s reaction to Earl Court, but (as I previously pointed out) since you can read you already know that, you are trying (somewhat desperately in my view) to sound like a defender of a free society instead of one of its enemies.
And a religion that recommends the beating of disobedient wives, has a social, political and military philosophy that strikes many people as a kind of ur-fascism, and which supplies a disproportionate number of the country’s jailbirds has a splendid future in the UK?
