The BBC have been caught red handed flying the flag for the Reds.
This is an update of this.
The BBC passed off a Socialist Party member, Matt Whale, as an ‘ordinary’ member of the public, albeit unemployed.
In fact he has appeared on 5Live before and as an activist for the Socialist Party. (Thanks to Beeboidal)
The 5Live show’s producer, editor and researcher would have known of Whale’s provenance and clearly decided that it wasn’t relevant to tell listeners that he was an anti capitalist activist.
Essentially we had a spokesman for Labour/Occupy/Communists given a platform to spout his socialist propaganda and to push the Balls’ agenda.
This is the BBC working to undermine the Coalition policies.
This is the BBC no longer reporting the news but trying to shape it and the nation’s political and economic policy.
This is the BBC corrupting Democracy.
Some information from Wikipedia on the Socialist Party:
The Socialist Party is a Trotskyist political party in England and Wales. The Socialist Party was founded in 1991 as Militant Labour, its members having previously been organised as the Militant tendency within the Labour Party.
“Marxist voice of Labour and Youth”.
The Socialist Party’s first issue of 2010, headlined “Rage Against Unemployment” and written by Youth Fight for Jobs national organiser Sean Figg,[10] who took part in the Jarrow March for Jobs, argues that young people are likely to suffer ‘permanent psychological scars’ from unemployment. Figg calls for the right to a “decent job for all”, with a “living wage” of at least £8 an hour, and an end to university fees. Figg demands that the government “bail out young people” as it had the banks, stating that “capitalist politicians” will claim the cost would be ‘too high’.
All that kind of puts a new light on this story from the BBC about the recent ‘Jarrow March’….note Mark Serwotka of the PCS union being interviewed….the PCS being heavily ‘infiltrated’ by the Socialist Party, and the ‘innocent’ sounding ‘Youth Fight For Jobs’ closely tied to the Socialist party.
‘A group of young unemployed people have begun a walk from Tyne and Wear to London in a recreation of the Jarrow March which took place 75 years ago.
Campaign group Youth Fight for Jobs said it hoped hundreds would take part.
Students and young trade unionists also joined the march.
Mark Serwotka, general secretary of the PCS, said: “Three-quarters of a century on, the young people recreating this famous march are sending an important message that our communities must never again be abandoned to pay for an economic crisis they did not cause.” ‘
Excellent detective work. BBC bang to rights. Hope lots of complaints are flowing in from Conservative HQ.

Indeed. And even if they did complain they’d get an IDS blow off anyway.
I was moved to ask how a very articulate ‘Mum’ pontificating on what women are feeling on political issues on a Newsnight panel was not more correctly flagged as a tribal elite mover and shaker, coincidentally married to the Graun high-command.
I was dispatched to ‘who we invite’ department vs. ‘what they then say’ department, where it was decided that it was all part of the rich diversity of opinion that needs to be shared, and if those they choose to invite happen to parrot what they want to hear that’s simply the way of things.

The same bad penny types are on the producer’s speed-dial. Derbyshire has a few from this camp, whenever she needed a ‘far lefty’ comment to legitimise her stance.

Yes, the truly anything BUT impartial bBC has been found to have done this far leftie crackpot planting crap with QuestionableTime audience members before as well.

Off topic… but in a way, not I suppose. Does this strike anyone else as being a revolting piece of propaganda and self-advertising, by the BBC? Do we really need to know this?

From your link I find this paragraph inserted in their puff piece:
“Her brother James delivered the lecture in 2009, and notoriously described the BBC’s size and ambition as “chilling”.”
I’m sorry but who actually thinks his remarks were “notorious”. Since when has been stating the truth been “notorius”

That’s very true. It really is a truly awful piece of ideologically charged and loaded propaganda crap. The justification for posting this ass-seepage on the main website is beyond me.

And surprise! :- Going by the Paper Review on Sky tonight, the Guardian is going with the same story about splits in the Murdoch family over the speech.

The Red Button news headline just had this as “Murdoch supports BBC licence fee”. The cheeky sods.

Right on cue, Naughtie and Davis were reading out her words with such reverence this morning you’d have thought they were freshly-minted tablets of wisdom handed down from the Eduadorian heights occupied by St Julian of Assange. It might have been my early morning hearing still getting into gear, but I swear Naughtie was close to tears when he got to the quote about humanity being more important than profit.
Preening self-indulgence on steroids.

The BBC believe in consumer choice about as much as they believe in working for free.

Does look suspiciously like young Mr Whale could be a go-to lefty on the BBC producer list:

Nice work, Beeoidal and DB above. They really do think they don’t have to inform you, and what they’re doing is fine because you know in their minds he represents the good will of the majority of the public.

This lazy fat tosser will be unemployed all of his life (unless something exceptionally easy comes up in the public sector.) If he had a job and some money it’d be one less thing to whinge about, and these SWP members (Sponging Workshy Parasites) live to whinge.
Not short of money for junk food and lager though, judging by his figure.

Not on BBC ‘News Health’ webpage:
‘Telegraph’:-
“Nigerian ‘health tourist’ flew to UK for caesarean birth on NHS.
“A heavily-pregnant woman from Nigeria flew thousands of miles to have her baby at a Manchester hospital costing the taxpayer around £10,000, it has emerged.”

-Will BBC-NUJ make an ‘Olympian’ propaganda film on this for its wonderful NHS?

As long as the jobsworth civil servants in the Department of Health insist on defining maternity as “NHS non-elective treatment” (= “Emergency”) and therefore free to everyone on the planet who gets themselves here, why be surprised? Perhaps Danny Boyle would like to pay for them, or Ken Loach, like all Socialists keen on spending other peoples money. Instead of being charged for private treatment as non-residents, they get a free UK Passport for little Abayomiolorunkoje.

The NHS should have bounced her on one of Danny Boyle’s trampoline beds; she wouldn’t have needed a Caesarean then.

NHS staff are scared shitless of being accused of racism they let this spongeing African away with it. Again and again it happens. Who cares about a trust being cashstrapped when it pisses money up the wall on “non-residents”. Dopey Cameron still has the back door wide open for free NHS care for anyone who claims to be “a student”. That would include “Bible Studies”? They don’t even have to turn up at their registered college, everyone in Africa knows how to work the NHS trick. You are being “Afri-caned” if you didn’t already know it.

They tried something similar after the rail fare increases on Radio 4. They declared they had spoken to some “rail passengers”, giving the impression they were all ordinary members of the travelling public. I started to smell a rat with one of them who seemed to know, quite by accident I’m sure, chapter and verse on how the system worked. After some other comments the same voice was there again declaring, “When we ask rail travellers we find that what they want is ……” “We”? How many members of the public do you know who use the Royal “We”?
Now, why do I suspect that the “ordinary member of the travelling public” was either a Union Spokesman, a political activist or a spokesman for some pressure group?
If he was then fine, but to try to pass him off as just an ordinary traveller is intentional deceipt. I could be wrong, but, with the BBC’s track record, I very much doubt it.

5 Live arranged a gathering of people in Salford on 15/2//2012 to discuss UK unemployment. BBC News Online spoke to some of them. Naturally, Matt Whale, 19, from Hull” was one of them.-

Great detective work to smoke out the BBCs choice of windsock puppet to speak on behalf of “we, the people”.
Any chance of a BBC list of approved voices as used by them…start at Polly, Yasmin, Shiley down to Owen, Laurie and the likes of “Matt Whale fron `ull”.
Possibly a “Craig Index” in honour of the man who quantified BBC bias in their interruptions etc.
Now why the hell aren`t IDS etc giving quantifiable evidence for the BBCs bias…they are so mathematically and scientifically illiterate that it woud be easy to PROVE that Flanders, Davis, Webb etal sneer and pop at any Tory…but don`t treat Labour in the same way?
It`s as if the whole political class don`t actually WANT to anything other than manage decline…when Gove and IDS are seen as radicals, maybe we have to accept that it`ll be the new generation of Tories that will have to do it for us…Raab, Reckless, Davis etc
Can`t wait that long though…

Because the Tories are shit-scared of Labour and them making an accusation of political interference. The Labour spin and lies machine is still dictating public opinion, and the Tories are pathetically short of something or somebody to fight it.

Unfortunately Cameron’s bright idea to fight Labour was to employ – Coulson. Can anybody spot a good decision made by our Head Boy?

3 or 4 months back, Gameshow had Charlie Kimber from the anti-capitalist, marxist SWP on his show 3 times in two weeks.
On one occasion he was countered by a Tory MP, who Gameshow introduced as being ‘from the other end of the political spectrum,’ FFS. It’s not just the left that the BBC are attracted to – it’s the hard left, reflecting the victory for the hard left in Labour’s (unreported) civil war.
