THE KILLER PRINCE

So Prince Harry reveals that he may have killed Taliban when on active service in Afghanistan. Good. Well maybe not. This item from the BBC seems fairly neutral but the idea that our soldiers actually KILL Jihadists never sits easy with the preaceniks and dhimmis at the BBC and so I invite you to comment on any additional BBC coverage you may have heard as regards Harry’s interview..

He is there to do a soldiers job which includes killing the enemy when ordered to do so. In the final analysis he is carrying out the orders of T Blair and the Labour Government which sent the British Army into Afganistan.
If the BBC try to spin it any other way they should be heavily criticised and hopefully lose more public trust. It just shows how out of touch they and their chattering chums are with what British people really think , but are not allowed to say, about just about everything.

As someone on the Open thread called them, why don’t we all call them “Islamist Progressives”. After all they are supported by the self-styled “Progressives” in this country so it’s only fair to link them together.

If this becomes common parlance then every time Labour, the BBC, the Liberals, the Guardian call themselves “Progessives” maybe some voters might associate them with the terrorists who are trying to kill us or subject us to slavery.

Ryan, I hope you’re not going to throw that. Mohammed, put Aaron down please – not on his head. Now who wants to talk about our subject this morning ‘Do you feel sorry for Harry?’ (No of course I’m not serious, I want to give you all a chance to slag off the Royals!)

I do think the Army should have sent Harry on the “how to handle the media course, for officers who have to deal with the media.
It would have been far better for Harry to have said nothing, or if asked the direct question, “I’m sorry, but I can’t comment on any operational matters I’ve been involved in”.
Having said that, the BBC is having a field day on TV and radio, reporting that Harry has killed and generally hyping it up. Of course in doing this they are providing ammunition for Britian’s enemies. Be in no doubt those enemies will use this for incitement and recruitment purposes against our armed forces.

      Not an option.
From the bit I saw on SKY, the deal was he either said something or it was open season.
So far I have seen his talk ‘reported’ as him ‘shooting’ to ‘killing’ to, one presumes, pitchforking babies.
The media can’t lose on this one.
Don’t know if it was a pooled job but the guy asking the questions had only one sound bite in mind.
That was where media training could have helped.
Harry delivered several, and to the jackals of the UK media pack, they were all gold dust for either a cheap rating or very expensive agenda-based worldwide broadcast anger and protest wind-up.
That the BBC often acts as default PR for the killers of British troops seems ‘conflicted’.
ps: great name for this topic

I am afraid that the use of the word ‘admits’ has become completely trivialised in one sense, pertaining to any statement by anyone which reporters simply wish to cast in a negative light.

The usual connotation of the word is that the truth about some failing has been forced out of someone by some means, and that therefore implies the person is guilty of some nefarious act. In essence, however, this maybe simply a statement of fact, but one with which the reporter does not readily accept.

As soon as I heard this on ITN I thought that the BBC and their leftist pals would have a thorough go at this. Not of his criticism of the media nor his pride in his collegues; no just the bit where he sort of implied he had killed. AFAIK he said that he had shot at insurgents and he was OK with that because you ‘have to take a life to save a life’ sometimes. No direct ‘Yeah I mowed the fuckers down like it was Call of Duty maaaaan. Yehaw!’ as the BBC will soon have it spun as.

He should have kept his mouth shut as said above. A ‘I’m not sure I should comment on that’ would have been acceptable. I do however applaud his honesty, no mealy mouthed MoFo he.

Either way this aspect of his service will be used against him time and time again on the BBC. ‘Harry the Nazi’. will become ‘Harry the Murderer’. Signs coming to a public appearance near you soon.

Let’s just hope its not used as an excuse to kill him. I wonder if the mad mullahs have the sense, like the IRA , to realise the world of pain they will be in if they killed a major Royal?

As there is a bit of a difference between shooting at and hitting (in war, the distinction in intent is moot), did she mention where she garnered this information from?
And if incorrect, are not she and the source rather complicit in incitement based on propaganda?
It’s all semantics I know as I am pretty sure he was in an attack helicopter armed to the teeth to discourage opponents with extreme prejudice, but if the BBC can play silly buggers with words and definitions surely can the rest of us?

God I hate the BBC! In fact, it winds me up so much that I try to avoid it like the norovirus. Sadly however, “accidental exposure” does occasionally occur. Just after midday I was unfortunate enough to hear 5 mins of Bea Campbell spouting total bollocks until I was forced to leave the room in search of a sick bag. Then, at about 1.45pm, I was on my way home when, in an effort to re-tune the radio, I was subjected to another few mins of the Jeremy Vine show. This time the subject was chain saws. Apparently, if you use them incorrectly, carelessly or too casually, they can cause serious injury and even death! Shock horror! Who knew?? Of course the answer has to be…Ban Them!

Robert “killer” Runcie MC, Archbishop of Canterbury won his MC by saving a tank crew whilst under heavy fire and later driving his tank into an exposed position to destroy three German anti-tank guns.

This did not taint his moral or spiritual character at all.

The context is important, WW2 was a war of necessity but the current war in Afghanistan suffers from its Labour Party origins which are rooted in political positioning and not strategic thought. I recall ‘Dr’ Reid making his pontifical statement that the British army would not fire a ‘single bullet’ and sending out an ill equipped army to do what? – never really told us did they? This from a supposed historian too!

The BBC will not even characterise the enemy as morally wrong, and when ‘Islamists’ blow buses up in London there is no appetite to state the bleeding obvious – that there are links with global islamism and the real threat is here at home and not in Afghanistan – a place that has defeated the British Army three times before. (mainly of course because we were following similarly ridiculous ill defined policy objectives)

I am sick of the BBC with its barely concealed moral angst and much worse Islington intelligentsia sneers. I listened to the BBC World Service phone in about Killer Harry, WHYS, and got a dose of sneering patronising twaddle from one particular guest who stated that Harry was ‘stupid’ and ‘lacked education’ and needed to be protected from himself. I do hope that he meets a chap enforcing the London Sharia zone when he is on his way back to his flat from the vintners. That half case of Margot ’99 will take some explaining

This would be a bizarre reaction from the BBC if one didn’t already know they were biased on the issue. They don’t have to literally take sides on who’s morally right or wrong. But to act as if it’s some sort of shocking confession for a soldier whose job it is to fire a very large gun in the direction of the enemy to, you know, actually be successful at it once or twice seems childish and unbecoming of professional journalists.

Ah the leftwing twit has a website:
        http://www.beatrixcampbell.co.uk/

and here is what Wiki has to say on her:

Campbell joined the Communist Party of Great Britain around the time it was turning itself from a bulwark of trade union officialdom towards a more feminist and multi-culturalist programme. She joined a reform faction founded by university lecturer Bill Warren in 1970 and was one of the ‘Gramscians’ who “took leading positions in the party”when she joined the National Women’s Advisory Committee. She worked as a sub-editor on the Morning Star newspaper, with critics noting she received state subsidised holidays to Communist East Germany during this time and praised the country. At that time, Campbell excused the party membership’s identification with Stalinist oppression in Eastern Europe: “… in the main it is a solidly working class part of the Party which is called Stalinist … only by virtue of the fact that they thought the CIA was about to take over Czechoslovakia and it was therefore politically correct that the Russians moved in.”
However i did love this about her:
“In June 2009 Campbell was made an OBE. She argued that “by clinging to symbols and rituals that belong to a cruel imperial order the government compromises the gonged” but defended herself on the grounds “getting gonged confers recognition of ‘citizens’ contributions’ to a good society – in my case equality – and the gesture affirms our necessity; the radicals – not the royalists – are the best of the British”

            BEATRIX POTTY
FOLLOWERS of the career of Marxist feminist Green party candidate and republican journalist Beatrix Campbell were astonished when she was awarded an OBE for services to equal opportunities in the Queen’s birthday honours last month (Eye 1239). Campbell was one.ofthe first proponents of a belief in the Satanic ritual abuse myth in the early 1990s and remained resolutely vocal in support, together with a network of believers, long after government commissioned research by Professor Jean La Fontaine, concluded in 1994 there was no evidence to support the claims. Before and even since that report, dozens of families were devastated by false allegations that they were devil worshipping paedophiles sexually abusing children in Satanic rituals that included drinking blood and urine and sacrificing animals and babies.’
The woman is so dangerously deranged I thought she had lost credibility even with the far-left and other militant deconstructionists (like the BBC)

It was an outrage that Virginia Bottomley appointed this woman to conduct this investigation. She already had an entrenched position that Satanic Ritual Abuse did not exist.

Say what one will about Bea Campbell (much of it richly deserved I’d say) but the notion that ritual childd sex abuse is incompatible with Satanism and couldn’t possibly exist takes the credulity to believe tha Mo Begg and Binyamin aren’t Al Qa’eda terrorists.
