I can’t believe the BBC are STILL droning on about David Miliband as he leaves the UK to spend more time with his ego. I think it may be a topic for Any Questions this week. A Reader posted this and I think it fairly well sums up BBC coverage.

Yes, it’s been a ridiculous overreaction to non event of half-rate has been changing jobs. Mind you he was New Labour so no doubt the best of somethingorother we’ve ever had.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the whole thing had been contrived for the media coverage.

Is his charity work unpaid? I doubt it. The man has never really had a proper job so I doubt the charity one will be much different.

Apparently he claims he is qualified to drive this gravy train “because my own parents were refugees” However he will still take the money – much better when its a personal mission.

I think the BBC are still hurt that he did not win the leadership election, they know they (Labour) would have won the 2015 election with David.
Such is the nature of Labour Party that, as it did with Mandelson, Labour would bring the unelected D. Miliband back into power:-
