Victoria Derbyshire has been talking (11:09) to a senior police officer, Detective Chief Superintendent Mick Duffy, from the Metropolitan Police about its reforms and efficiency drive.
Two things of especial note that he said:
1. The Met. will be putting 26,000 constables on the streets of London….more than at any time in its history…due to its efficiency changes.
2. The main priorities for police are gang crime, foreign national offenders, proceeds of crimes and sexual exploitation.
Terrible Tory ‘cuts’ reducing police on the frontline?
‘Foreign national offenders’….A ‘priority area’?… makes you wonder just how much crime is being committed by these ‘foreign nationals’….. good old Labour Party open border policy…actively supported by the BBC.
Still, at least we can deport them when they’re caught can’t we?
But crime is going down…didn`t Kingston Unis “Institute of Peace and Happiness”( Emeritus Professor Kenneth Dodd) do one of their survaze the other day-did NO-ONE hear dear Evan Davis reassure you all?
No problem…why spoil a nice decade or so by quibbling over a bit of blood on your spats…over exuberance in pursuance of a Religion that is as peaceful as that Unis Faculty.
What`s that nice one the BBC keep telling us to take up?….begins with Iz….

“But crime is going down…”
When I heard that I was reminded of Ken Clarke smugly repeatedly saying (on the BBC I think) that gaoling burglars obviously did not work because the rate of burglaries did not change.
Realistically there are only two possible reasons that gaoling burglars didn’t change the burglary rate:
1- Many burglars have a strong professional ethic and work more to keep figures up when their brother burglars are incarcerated (not sure which Union they must be members of);
OR
2- Someone is fiddling the crime figures to support a story they want to push.
When you find out that for many years Muslim groomers and rapists of white adolescents were not investigated by the police, I think it is fair to say that they did not feature in the crime figures.
If Muslims were not investigated for crimes against non-Muslims, do you think that would deter or encouage more such crimes?
Also, if victims outside their own sub-culture were not investigated, I think it is fair to say that pretty much all sex crimes within their own sub-culture would not be investigated. So why would any victims within that sub-culture even report those crimes, just to be ignored by the police (if they don’t prosecute the victim for some racist offence) and to be further physically attacked by the criminal.
What ideology might have been pushed by such fiddling of the figures, such distortion of the truth?
Crime is going down!… so we need more armed police, with more powerful assault rifles
Crime is going down!… so armed ethnic groups are allowed on the street to defend their neighbourhoods, while unarmed groups of white people patrolling their neighbourhood are targetted by the very same police who will not deal with rioters, looters and arsonists.
Crime is going down!… yeah, tell that to the ideologically inconvenient victims and their families

London’s just going to end up like Chicongo or Detroilet.
A crime-ridden Turd-World slum.

You mean London will be run by Democrats for two generations?

Outside of the bustling city centre, Manchester is a third-world craphole. It has been Labour-controlled for 68 years.
That’s almost as long as the lifespan of the old USSR.

Not quite as simple as that. It’s a big place.
I’m always struck by how its appearance changes according to where you are and what you’re doing. Yes, some parts look like ….. well …. better not to say. Other parts and some events and entertainments don’t seem to have changed much in 50 years except, perhaps, more European accents overheard.
I dare say you can say the same about Manchester. On the other hand, my home town of Bradford, which is much smaller, was wrecked years ago.

The part of the piece that amazed me was when the police officer started talking about the crime team as a Brand!! Also his objective to provide good service to his clients: I assume he meant victims or criminals but one does wonder. Is he on the same planet!!!!

When this guy said they were putting 26,000 constables on the streets, was he referring to foot patrols? Or did he mean that they would be patrolling the streets of London in cars? The main priority of any Police Force should be the prevention of crime. They can only do that by putting a visible presence on the streets, and that means regular foot patrols.
