How the bBC when it finally got round to reporting the riots in Sweden muddied the water so you can’t point the finger of blame at the religion of peace rioters:
Riots grip Stockholm suburbs after police shooting Rioters have lit fires and stoned emergency services in the suburbs of Stockholm for the third night in a row after a man was shot dead by police…Police in the deprived, largely immigrant suburb of Husby shot a man dead last week after he reportedly threatened to kill them with a machete. The founder of a local youth group told Swedish media the riots were a reaction to “police brutality”.
Ah, so according to the bBC, the riots are are a result of police brutality after they just went out of their way and slotted an innocent man who just happened to be inside his house using a knife in which to cook dinner.
Here is what the bBC doesn’t tell you about that shooting which transpired over a week ago.: Stockholm man shot dead by police Police fatally shot a 69-year-old man in an apartment in north Stockholm on Monday evening after responding to calls that a man armed with a machete was menacing the neighbourhood.Police were called to an address in the Husby district, north of central Stockholm, around 6pm on Monday following several reports that a knife-wielding man was roaming around the area. “He had a knife or a machete. When we arrived, this person disappeared into an apartment,” Stockholm police spokesman Lars Byström told the TT news agency. The man then stood on the balcony of the apartment and threatened police. “He screamed at police from the balcony that he wanted to kill them,” a neighbour told the Expressen newspaper. Negotiators were called in and police subsequently learned that a woman was also in the apartment. After negotiations failed to yield any results, police then decided to break down the door and storm the flat in hopes of securing the woman’s safety.”Then the person in question appeared holding a machete. Officers felt cornered and threw a flash grenade so they could overpower the man. That didn’t work either and they then felt forced to open fire,” said Byström.
Now It took me seconds to find this story , yet the bBC can’t instead they claim: Police in the deprived, largely immigrant suburb of Husby shot a man dead last week after he reportedly threatened to kill them with a machete.
Two Blacks have just murdered a white with machetes and cut his head off. The local Labour MP says it is ‘out of character’. Now this is my part of London, Labour MP lies again, this is totally within character of the local population.
Two people have been shot in Woolwich, south east London, after armed police were called to an incident in which a man wearing a Help for Heroes t-shirt was attacked with a machete-style knife and dumped in the street, eyewitnesses said.
Pictures published on Twitter show what appears to be two uncovered bodies lying in the street. They are surrounded by members of the public and construction workers.
Other images show a red air ambulance landing in the street. Local newspaper The News Shopper is blogging about the incident and has reported eyewitnesses describing shots also being fired.
It quotes one eyewitness as saying: “I heard they were trying to behead someone and were shot by police.”
One witness, identified as James, said he and his partner saw two black men attack the young victim with knives, including a meat cleaver. “They were hacking at this poor guy, literally,” he told LBC. “They were hacking at him, chopping him, cutting him.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers have responded to an incident in John Wilson Street, Woolwich, SE18, at 14.20 today. We believe at this stage that officers were called to reports of an assault.”
Eyewitnesses said they were “hacking” at the victim “like a piece of meat”.
The men were then shot after trying to attack police responding to the chilling incident.
Senior Whitehall sources said the attackers are thought to have tried to film their attack whilst shouting “Allahu Akbar” – God is Great. The men were said to have been of Muslim appearance.
That cartoonist is extreme Left-wing. If you’ve lost Tom Toles…..
All those like him ignored the complaints for years, and belittled the complainers. Now the shoe is on the other foot, and they’ve woken up just a little bit. For now, anyway.
St. Jon is just unhappy that the beautiful ideology is being ruined by a few bad apples. He doesn’t believe this is attached to the President in anyway, shape or form, and said the other day that he still believed in the government doing good works and helping people. They aren’t as angry at the very real political oppression that’s been going on as they are that this is fodder for the Tea Partiers they hate. It’s very clear when they keep bringing that up in their criticisms. In fact, he and the JournoListas now coordinating the media response are probably most upset that these IRS fools are hurting the President most of all.
It’s like when Left-wing luvvies had to accept that Stalin really did kill millions and that the Soviet Union wasn’t the workers’ paradise they believed it was. Ask any self-proclaimed Socialist or Communist you know, and they’ll tell you the ideology is great, thank you very much, it’s just never been done properly.
This latest IRS fiasco will be no different. It’s compounded by the fact that the IRS was already politicized, and previous Administrations have used it to go after opponents. I don’t expect St. Jon or any of the other liberal media elite will blame the President for it any time soon, or suggest that maybe the problem lies in giving the government so much power over people’s lives.
“I’m not good at Math”
“Thank you, lady who does our taxes”
Funnily enough, that is pretty much the exact same thing that Margaret Hodge came out with when on the spot about hounding politically chosen targets too.
Thank you, lady who chairs the Public Accounts Committee.
Sky reporting that the guy who was attacked with a machete was wearing a Help For Heroes t-shirt. And the scene is just round the corner from the barracks.
Could this be another celebration of multicultural Britain’s vibrancy? Possibly involving ‘men’?
If so, don’t expect to gain any insight from the BBC!
Reports are saying that it was an attempted beheading of a guy that was wearing a help for heroes shirt and was allegedly an ex soldier. If this is true then we all know the likely identity/makeup of the perpetrators. I don’t expect much clarity from the BBC.
Are we sure it’s not the anti-British Broadcasting Corporation itself, continuing its hatred for Help for Heroes? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22551914
The first guy goes for the female fed with the machete and she not even ramping she took man out like robocop never seen nutn like it— Boya Dee (@BOYADEE) May 22, 2013
If you want to experience BBC bias on environmentalism in its purest form, look no further than its regular updates on fracking on North West News.
Today it was a report commissioned by Cuadrilla, which was very upbeat about the number of jobs the new industry could create. The BBC reporter had it out with the Cuadrilla chappie – ‘you’ve paid for the report so it’s bound to find in your favour’ (paraphrased) as well as the usual guff about how VERY (it’s gone up a notch) controversial the fracking process is blah blah blah.
By contrast the environmentalist woman was allowed to say how harmful fracking would be for the environment and there’s no need for it because the North West is ‘awash with renewable energy’. No questions asked, no challenge, no nothing.
So here, BBC, next time you interview one of these tree-hugging, economy-destroying, humanity-hating, swivel-eyed Marxist eco-loons, try asking them any of the following:
1. What does ‘awash with renewable energy’ mean?
2. What happens to our energy supplies when the wind isn’t blowing?
3. Alternative to 2: isn’t renewable energy just a waste of time given we’ll need nuclear or fossil fuel power constantly on standby for when the wind isn’t blowing?
4. If fracking is so dangerous, how come it’s use is so far advanced in the US that wholesale gas prices are now a third of what they used to be?
5. If we adopt your renewable energy proposals, will you be prepared to take the blame when the lights start to go out in a few years time, take responsibility for the deaths which will inevitably occur and for the country ultimately crashing and burning?
6. Why should we still be trying to reduce our CO2 emissions when the climate models have been proved completely wrong on the issue?
7. What’s it like being a sanctimonious twat living in la-la land? (ok, no need for that one)
I await the next fracking feature with baited breath (not).
Fracking, nuclear power, GM foods,
get used to the idea hopey-changey, drippy-wippy, softy-leftie, liby-wibbies because they’re all coming, whether you like it or not.
The news is the victim was a soldier who was beheaded by followers of the religion of peace. If true, i wonder how long before the bBC comes out with a..Muslims fear backlash. article.
Looks like UKIP are going to win the next election.
Ed Balls drops into the World at One studio today for another cosy little chat.
A new IMF* report expresses concerns that the UK might be a bit too heavy handed with the austerity malarkey and maybe should be stimulating growth with more capital projects (no mention that more capital spending = less on NHS, education, welfare etc – but never mind).
So here comes Blinky (again) getting a nice easy ride from Karney (I would guess he’d been promised one – his tone a lot calmer than usual), given lots of time and space to repeat ad nauseam how the Coalition doesn’t stand a chance of reducing the (his) deficit unless it fires up growth……and of course youth unemployment is a disgrace (but mysteriously no higher than under Labour)……repeated several times.
Trouble is, we never did find out about Balls’ magic formula for growth or reducing youth unemployment as he was never asked. In fact, he wasn’t asked anything other than for his opinions (read mantras), which we are already only too familiar with. So none of the ‘it’s easy to criticise the government, but what would YOU do about it’ we heard every time a shadow minister was interviewed during the Blair/Brown Terror.
* Funny how the BBC never wonder why, if this lot are so effing brilliant, they haven’t written out individual recovery prescriptions for every failing economy in the world.
Your licence fee, helping to fund the Labour propaganda machine.
Everyone except the BBC seems to know that two Somalians drove over a British soldier, then attempted to decapitate him today in Woolwich.
The BBC are talking about an “altercation” between “three men”!
The BBC is trying to be subtle and sensitive here and fails at the first hurdle. The clue is using the word “men” as a descriptor for the probable perps. In reporting this type of situation “men” is almost always code for either “dusky hued, probably Moslem” or “black, probably gang members”. It’s not difficult to interpret but, more interestingly, you wonder why the BBC bothers. Nobody’s fooled for more than about 5 seconds and, come the reports later in the paper press and from other broadcasters, the cultural background of the alleged perps is disclosed anyway.
I’m all for the BBC being cautious and a person’s religion isn’t necessarily immediately identifiable so the silence is possibly justfied.
However note that the BBC happily gives out the gender and the ages of all three involved yet is as of this moment, entirely silent about race, something perhaps easier to determine than a persons’ age.
The BBC are therefore clearly withholding information and failing to report the news properly.
I see the bBC is still refusing to say that Muslims carried out this disgusting murder. But as I said above, within minutes they will knock out a ‘Muslims fear backlash article.
I have had enough of the left defending Intolerant Islam every step of the way.
I think your info and opinions are important but could you tone down your language please!!!! – it detracts from what you are saying . I can’t believe I’m the only one that thinks this way!
I can understand the use of bad language as like me he is probably extremely angry about the situation.
So they were Somalian, attempted to behead an alleged soldier and shouted Allah Ackbar. Time something extreme was done back to these savage Bast***s.
Noted,
Just peeved off at how for years we have seen how intolerable Islam is and yet for the left, Islam can only be a victim.
My gripe:
I am coloured
I am Green,well MTP
Robert, there are other sites for you to post that stuff. Not here, please. You’re entitled to your opinion but you’re not entitled to associate others with it.
David; I will express my thoughts here, they are honest and earnest, and you are starting to act like the very BBC you despise. Scared of a muslim reaction, shame on you, grow some as well.
I’m not scared of a Muslim reaction. I’ve just got a sense of decency, and am foolish enough to believe that this blog was not founded to be a forum for calls to violence. I will not sit by quietly while years of good work is thrown away by this crap. There are plenty of other places for you to call for violence. You have no right to destroy all the effort I and others have put in here.
Oh yes you are, and as for a sense of decency, a poor man lies dead, butchered by muslim savages, and you castigate me, and others on this site, yes there are other more ‘strident’ comments here, for speaking our minds and wishing for retribution? I am a decent person, but faced with the savagery of Islam now and since 636AD, retribution will be inevitable, sometimes you have to stand up and be counted.
If you are genuine Robert then you first need to control yourself and take stock. It is easy to sound off and show rage, which we most ALL feel about what’s happened. We are looking to the long term and how best to deal with the forces within our society that contribute to these kind of incidents. This we see predominantly as the BBC, which is why we invest so much time and energy in combating its bias and misinformation – to alert others so that they can be alert and mindful as well. If we fail to do this then we lose – simple as that. Ranting and raving is going to deter others from visiting the site and perhaps stop the message getting through. Please try to understand we are on the same page but we need to use wisdom – and self control.
Problem with vigilante violence is that with all the low intelligence morons we’ve bred in this country, they’d probably start attacking Hindus and Sikhs, who’ve no love for the Religion of Peace as well. Remember the BBC have been describing Muslim sex offenders as “Asian” and that’s all that our low intellect countrymen will see, just as racist idiots identify all Asians (and some Arabs) as “P*kis”.
Robert Is your post a MOBY attack or genuine? In any case David is right, calling for a pogrom against muslims is completely unacceptable and I believe is actionable. It may be your opinion but I don’t want to be associated with it and I don’t want it used as an excuse to get this site (and everybody who has ever posted on it) a “hate site”
“I am just as angry as you Pounce but posts like that play into the hands of our opponents”
Our opponents you say: The Left: Who hate me for being a British soldier
Muslims Who hate me for being an Apostate.
The right Who hate me for being dark skinned.
I can’t fucking win, whichever way I turn. I have to walk through town tomorrow and risk some twat having a go at me. Backlash I can put with, what i can’t is how the Pricks who berate this board, defend the pillocks who murdered that poor lad will find some excuse in which to absolve them of their odious crime.
Angry, you bet your bottom dollar I am, My windows cost me £1200 each, I don’t really want to start replacing them. But at least I can replace them, we can’t give that poor lad his life. If the bBC had done its job and exposed the ugliness that is pisslam then we wouldn’t be where we are today. I say again, I hope to god that Mosques gets burnt down, Muslims get attacked on the streets And for those that feel I am out of line. I have dark skin I live in a virtually pure white market town. In otherwords this effects me more than it does white leftwing wankers.
Well said Pounce, with you all the way, do not listen to the lily-livered fools here who urge caution, they have sold out and are as cowed of Islam as the Left and BBC. We have 250.000 bloody Somalis in Bristol alone, most are on benefits and get into fights with West Indians on a regular basis. If the useless police bothered to search these people, they would find thousands of edged weapons. Enough is enough…..
Just read an article by Melanie Phillips that describes the moronic low intellect of Guardianista “BBC Idiots” perfectly.
“the serial incompetence of public servants, the growing inability to process evidence in a rational manner, the vacuity and degradation of so much public debate”
Woolwich – until anyone knows for sure, nobody knows anything.
I await sensible news that has the facts, as confirmed and substantiated, as they are available.
I will likely not be too trusting on anything emerging from our MSM, especially if ‘analysis’ is deployed to substitute for ‘no clue and nothing to add’ in filling the 24/7 news maw.
The word provocation has cropped up a bit of late; and sadly it seems to serve well, if entirely the wrong people and their perverse interests.
Have you seen the item of film shown by itv at 6 30 pm? Where the killer stands holding the meat cleaver in his blood covered hands?
No room for doubt after that, can’t wait for Charlie stayt on breakfast tv to ask an eye witness ” but what did he look like?” As he did in response to the Brevik killings.
Now then, what has that got to do with bbc bias?
At the time… no. It was an hour later given your timing. Hence my point.
Some projections were being made… by media as much as social media… that I felt were precipitate.
Hence my expression of caution.
I was also asking MSM outlets how it was that we were being served manifesto propaganda as ‘witness statements’ so quickly. Ch4 ran a tweet that frankly handed a megaphone to the perpetrator to shout his message out in sick complement to his actions.
This seemed to me to be playing straight into the hands of any who seek profile through shock value.
As to your Breivik comment, I understand the BBC is already into comparison and understanding motivation mode as only they can, and somehow feeling this is appropriate to raise.
I agree this is too typical and not going to serve them well.
However, as this whole thing seems to be seeing even the merest slip of the tongue pounced on, and even the most usually cautious making remarks that can inflame or be unjust, I take your point and to avoid expecting any to see any more of mine (or see any of mine make things worse) have decided to withdraw for now.
One thing is for sure, our media is not serving us well in such matters.
I was living in Brazil when Michael Jackson died. O Globo, and every other channel confirmed it. The BBC didn’t. I tuned in to 5live at the time (never again) Richard Bacon was aroused that this was happening on his shift.
My point is I’m glad that BBC wait before speculating. I would rather see the BBC crumble than for it to become The Daily Mail with moving pictures.
Tx. As apposite a place as one could hope to wish you and all others well in holding the BBC to account on accuracy and objectivity in its professional efforts.
I’m with the US on the right to bear arms. WE must have the means to defend ourselves against these madmen who are declaring open warfare on us.
When will the politically correct empty minded blind fools who tell us they know best and we should all make allowances and live with alien cultures stop defending the indefensible and put the indigenous people first.
We will no doubt be told by the BBC and their allies ‘that it is an isolated incident and not representative blah, blah blah’. That our society is richer for being diverse etc, etc..
People have been forecasting this and been told they are extremists. Oh! Really? Are we the extremists?
Technically, originally, the right to bear arms was instilled in the Constitution with the idea of citizens having the right to defend themselves against tyranny (e.g. the government). The founders were under no illusion that the new country and system of government they were creating was going to be perfect and safe and nothing to worry about forever. Anyone who has a hard time imagining that and laughs at us for it need only look around at what’s going on today and do the math.
There was even concern about Washington turning tyrant/king early on. There’s also a bit preventing the government from commandeering somebody’s home and billeting troops there. It’s not really about defending against crime.
Of course, there is the very real concern that, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away, and we shouldn’t forget that.
BBC’s Nick Robinson reporting that the “People carrying out the attack were of Muslim appearance and cries of God is Great or Allahu Akbar were heard”.
Unless the perpetrator(s) was wearing something that only Mohammedans wear, or a t-shirt that said, “Kiss Me, I’m Halal”, Robinson’s statement is a problem. Islam isn’t a race anyway, so it’s doubly dopey.
According to senior Whitehall sources the people carrying out the attack were heard to say: “Allahu Akbar [God is Great]”, BBC political editor Nick Robinson reported.
1741: Nick Robinson Political editor
Senior Whitehall sources have told the BBC the Woolwich attackers are thought to have tried to film their attack whilst shouting “Allahu Akbar” – God is Great. The men were said to have been of Muslim appearance.

This is being treated as a serious terrorist attack by Islamist extremists on the streets of Britain.
The Prime Minister is expected to speak to the home secretary at 18:15 from a train to Paris about what is now being treated by the government as a suspected terrorist attack. Theresa May will chair a meeting of the COBRA emergency committee at 18:30.
Once the animals who have perpetrated this atrocity gave been jailed for a brief spell no doubt they’ll stay in our country to protect their human rights.
I understand from the eye witness twitter report that Pounce linked above that a female police officer shot one who attacked her with a machette and then another attacker was shot (by the same WPC?) who blew his hand off with a miss firing hand gun.
Listening to Evan Davies giggling like a besotted school girl this morning whilst he fawned over – sorry, interviewed – the atheist philosopher Daniel Dennett was too nauseous to stomach. Nice of them to give some promotion to a man who’s built his career on hating Christians.
Got to love the bBC:
they report: “People carrying out the attack were of Muslim appearance and cries of God is Great or Allahu Akbar were heard, said our political editor.”
Ok, how long before the bBC knocks out a ‘Muslims fear backlash article?
If there was a backlash more often to this kind of atrocity perhaps it would concentrate the minds of the Muslim community and they would get off their asses and sort their own kind out.
I apologise to the site admin as yet again I am commenting on an issue and not so much on BBC bias, sorry.
Govt sources say it looks like the soldier was working out of Woolwich, but was not based there, which suggests he was followed at random.— tom bradby (@tombradby) May 22, 2013
bbc continues to incorrectly state allahu ackba as god is great … as it is only spouted by muslims, it should be “my” god is greater … greater than who?
greater than your guy … ultimate fascist supremacism.
God is great? the quran says that allah was the greatest, that is the greatest of the 72 pagan idols of Islam. Moh said that the greatest idol was Al Illah, the Moon God and was above all the other stone idol ‘gods’ and who’s statue is still inside the kabbah in Mecca today.
Allah is nothing more than a lump of stone statue with a carving of the moon on it’s chest which beggars the question why is their so much murdering and terrorism in the world today carried out in it’s name.
…when they’re running round the street with blood drenched hands clenching a meat cleaver, approaching members of the public…I think deadly force is justified, don’t you BBC.
BBC have had to report this:
1744: Senior Whitehall sources have told the BBC that the Woolwich attackers are thought to have tried to film their attack whilst shouting “Allahu Akbar” – God is Great, says political editor Nick Robinson.
That must have hurt but presumably the excuses – Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel etc. are being readied.
It is about time there was a serious backlash against the Muslim leaders in this country. THEIR flocks are doing these things – and are planning scores or hundreds of attacks all the time. The Imam from Oxford spoke very fiercely last week about Muslims being in denial on Muslims grooming/sex-trafficking gangs. Where are the Imams who will denounce this atrocity from the rooftops ?
Will every mosque on Friday preach in absolute terms against terrorism ?
Will pigs fly ?
Time we stopped being so squeamish about Muslim sensitivities. This stuff is in their communities, they need to be called out to stamp on it. Sod the PC nonsense the BBC is forever preaching at us.
And meanwhile – there should be an absolute stop on further immigration from Muslim countries, and a much more effective weeding out and deportation of all the illegal immigrants. And any young men choosing to go back to places like Somalia, or on tourist trips to Pakistan, should damn well stay there. Enough is enough.
Agree, how many thousands are now, right now, in this country alone, cheering on and giving thanks to Allah for the actions of these filth? It is happening. Time to get ‘medieval’ on the muslims here, now.
The blood is not just on the hands of the savages who committed this crime. It is equally on the hands of every politican and every media pundit who promotes multi-culturalism, mass immigration and appeasement of those who will not be appeased. Such people should realise that failure to condemn and to act forcefully is akin to condoning what is going on. They are, in effect, collabarators and should expect to be treated accordingly at some point, whether in this life or the hereafter.
Interesting that your comment, Ian, is directly below one that will get this site equally condemned as condoning it if we don’t speak out against it. Ironic, no?
More mealy mouthed comments by you David, is this personal? Ians’ comment mentions’ treatment’ at some time or another, i read ‘punishment’ there. Are you going to smack Pounce as well? I call a spade a spade, but as you are American, you probably do not understand the meaning.
David, I agree (again) whilst I am arngy beyond words at this vile and contemptuous attack (as with everybody here) some posts are going way too far and have little or nothing to do with direct BBC bias. Much more of this sort of material and this site is in severe danger of losing all credibility by being branded by the left as an enclave for the most swivvel eyed of racists.
The Human rights crowd (Yes I am looking at you Dez,Scott,bBC) keep on telling me that people like this cannot be deported because of their human rights.
And the same BBC apologists have the nerve to come on here and complain about us. They call us right wing nutters, angry old men and anything else that insults. They nit-pick over the minutia of posts and call us racists but where are they now?
Will they stand up and condemn this and other terrible acts of violence against the indigenous British people by these Muslim murderers?
We ask again. Where are you now the BBC defenders?
I watched the 6 pm BBC news and by 6.45 I have to say that the BBC was being honest and, as far as we know, telling the truth and making it clear that this was a barbaric and evil Islamic terrorist attack on a soldier.
Will they keep up this level of honesty over the next hours and days. Will they give space to how ordinary British people feel about this and other attempted attacks? Will they be asking the Muslim community how it proposes to help stop such attacks in the future?
Time will tell.
I watched it unfold on News 24. It happened too quickly for the relativist spin to be applied.
The footage of the murderer however is quite clever; it gives the apologists the material to turn this into a moral question about foreign policy, Iraq etc. So standby for the BBC to lap that up.
The comments have been disabled on Guido’s site.
What is going on here?
oh yes and drum roll please…
‘A spokesman for Labour leader Ed ‘Milipeed’ said he would be cutting short a visit to Germany to return to the UK as soon as possible’..BBC proudly announces,
Who the **&^% cares!
He probably will hold his guardianesta friends hands after the ‘backlash’ of one white gentleman who comments that this sort of thing is not on in this country or any other civilized country.
For a bit of much needed levity, this is an example of Clint’s justice which might be needed here:-
Skip to 2m. 12s
The response to this Islamic jihad beheading of a British soldier in
broad-daylight in London should NOT be left to the British political class (inc BBC).
We will get the usual mixture of obfuscation, said and unsaid:-
‘this terrible criminal act;’
‘not representative of any religion;’
‘here we have several representatives of the “religion of peace” to explain that;
‘The perpetrators are only a tiny minority’;
‘all British people must behave with restraint;’
‘our deepest sympathy to relatives and friends of the victim;’
‘this terrible incident must not deflect us from continuing to build our multicultural society’;
‘immigration continues to be desirable from the world over;’
‘Let us hope that this terrible incident will somehow bring us together as a nation;’
‘we must do more, as needed, for our immigrant friends.’
“MUSLIMS SCREAMING “ALLAHU AKBAR” BEHEAD BRITISH SOLDIER ON PUBLIC STREET”
…and ITV News has had actual footage up since their 6:30 bulletin – of a black man with blood soaked hands and a meat cleaver saying “Your people will never be safe”.
Frank Gardner on BBC News24 giving a masterclass in mendacity dressed up as journalistic rigour. Nothing has been confirmed, apparently. At least one of the savages had a London accent, if you know what I mean.
Frank Gardner would have to be literally shot through the spine by a muslim before he would admit there is a problem with the religion of peace, oh hang on,erm.
“‘We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you’:
” What man holding bloody cleaver said after ‘hacking soldier in Help For Heroes T-shirt to death just yards from Woolwich barracks'”
To mirror some BBC reporters covering the Boston bombings: let’s not dismiss the possibility the attack was carried out by disaffected right-wingers. Maybe thuggish UKIP supporters?
So the Huffington Post had more details up about the murder and decapitation of a soldier by two Islamic nutjobs BEFORE the BBC? More proof of the disgraceful decline of a once great news organisation under the jackboot of political correctness.
If the Islamic jihad beheading of a British soldier in broad-daylight on London cannot get the British political class (inc BBC) to see the political light about the nature of Islam, nothing will.
The BBC’s handling of this is beneath contempt. Even on Five Live at 6.30, they were wringing their hands, dancing around the subject, censoring their material.
And now it seems Robinson is busy backtracking, hiding behind others description of the men.
And now starts the first questions about why the ‘men’ had to be shot.
Tonight and tomorrow the BBC will be in full blame mode. ‘Why were these men not known to the security services?’, will be where the BBC will be going with this.
As I say the BBC are beneath contempt, their coverage of this has been very different to other broadcasters and highly censored.
“And his cry of Allahu Akbar is translated as God is Great to render it more acceptable to readers. But like so many Islamic translations, it’s right enough to be wrong. Allahu Akbar doesn’t mean Allah is Great, in a ‘Isn’t ‘Allah and the Virgins of Paradise’ a great band’. It’s more like Allah is Greatest or Superior. And if you’re on the right side of the cockpit door, the one doing the shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ means that Allah is superior to your country and to you. And one of his followers is about to do his best to show you why.”
‘The BBC’s security correspondent, Frank Gardner, says there are still a lot of questions to be answered about the motivation behind the Woolwich attack.
People should keep an open mind until more information emerges, he adds.’
Mr. Robinson seems to be rather reaping the dubious benefits of trying to walk along the fence of being a reporter and being a ‘BBC-complaint’ reporter, and slipping with each foot either side.
No wonder they have selectively-applied watertight oversight to try and ensure that when they have to report they do so in ways the upper floors won’t get upset with.
Seems he felt he had to say something and… ended up failing on just about every level.
It would be funny if not tragic.
I seem to recall a time when Gardner knew all about that kind of motivation. It sounds cruel to say it, I know, as he was gravely wounded. But what he said is still baloney.
Dr Brooke Rogers, academic from Kings College is being interviewed by BBC as an expert, and she is stressing that people involved in this kind of crime will be a miniscule part of the community, akin to a needle in a haystick.
To quote someone on another forum, in another place:
“How about some intelligent debate about the finer points about multiculturalism? Like, how it’s a nice idea but only if some discretion is applied. If the culture in question is fundamentally at odds with our own (and far less tolerant let’s face it) then how can one claim cultural enrichment? It’s irresponsible.”
The BBC’s coverage of this appalling incident is, as expected, lamentable in the ‘truth in reporting’ department.
It is being called a terrorist attack by the BBC and the government as if it were planned by outsiders. It isn’t, it looks as if they were ignorant and violent opportunists who have been indoctrinated here in this country to hate non-Muslims. Us!
This has happened due to appeasement, liberal cowardice and Labour’s stupidity for 13 years. Unfortunately the heir to Blair, Cameron is no better.
Our so called leaders have allowed our soldiers to be insulted on the streets of this country for courageously doing their duty on behalf of us all. And now this terrible act of murder of an off duty soldier on the streets of London.
I accuse our governments past and present along with the BBC, and anyone else who has persistently excused these people for years, of cowardice and of being traitors. No other words will suffice.
Our political elite have spent decades importing backward, third world trash into our country telling us that it was “enriching” and “vibrant”. Those poor souls that had to live with it told a different tale and were immediately condemned as “racist”. This cultural cancer can’t be hidden or excused any longer; there’s barely a day goes by without some ghastly revelation regarding members of this repulsive superstition.
I wonder if the UAF will have a demo about the Islamist fascism that is sweeping through Europe? No, maybe not…
The BBC at it’s most unbelievably useless.
This “incident” is reported to have occurred at 14:20BST.
At 18:52 ITV reveals that it has footage of a perpetrator saying: “”We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you.”
At 19:36 Frank Gardner is quoted as saying: “…there are still a lot of questions to be answered about the motivation behind the Woolwich attack.People should keep an open mind…”
I’m sitting here at 20:03BST and I am following @BOYADEE on twitter.
I – we – know more than the BBC does – or rather, more than the BBC is prepared to broadcast.
BOYADEE for head of news at the BBC! Right now he’s doing a better job than the whole lot of them put together.
He’s ‘just’ and eye witness but the BBC nor anyone else can prove or corroborate what he tweets, HOWEVER, ITV have had the film footage for hours and it is on dozens of sites so the BBC has no excuse.
And the Muslim Council of Britain knows more than the BBC does now, they’ve issued a statement saying ” “This is a truly barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this unreservedly” .
Which they wouldn’t do unless they were convinced that the attack was perpetrated by… erm …er… I’m trying to guess…
Yes, utter crap! My point, not at all well made, is the speed at which comparatively cheap technology allows information to become widely available and, if you are a world class news organisation, to be collated and compared to other sources, something that the BBC with all its tax-payer funded budget seems incapable of delivering.
Correction. For incapable, read unwilling.
Ah, see what you mean, yes, myself and DP and a few others have mentioned this before, and David has a extensive archive of the BBC on Twitter suddenly ahead of the game when it suits them.
Not sure this is a smiley face comment issue.
Especially if the perpetrator motivations were in any way connected with shortcomings in help to wounded veterans, which I doubt (but don’t know).
For sure the timing will not look good or help an entity with an already poor record in selection of subjects to inform and educate about, from a broadcaster whose coverage of matters military is at best obsessively often empathetic to all ‘sides’ to near propagandistic levels for some at times.

How the bBC when it finally got round to reporting the riots in Sweden muddied the water so you can’t point the finger of blame at the religion of peace rioters:
Riots grip Stockholm suburbs after police shooting
Rioters have lit fires and stoned emergency services in the suburbs of Stockholm for the third night in a row after a man was shot dead by police…Police in the deprived, largely immigrant suburb of Husby shot a man dead last week after he reportedly threatened to kill them with a machete. The founder of a local youth group told Swedish media the riots were a reaction to “police brutality”.
Ah, so according to the bBC, the riots are are a result of police brutality after they just went out of their way and slotted an innocent man who just happened to be inside his house using a knife in which to cook dinner.
Here is what the bBC doesn’t tell you about that shooting which transpired over a week ago.:
Stockholm man shot dead by police
Police fatally shot a 69-year-old man in an apartment in north Stockholm on Monday evening after responding to calls that a man armed with a machete was menacing the neighbourhood.Police were called to an address in the Husby district, north of central Stockholm, around 6pm on Monday following several reports that a knife-wielding man was roaming around the area.
Now It took me seconds to find this story , yet the bBC can’t instead they claim:
Police in the deprived, largely immigrant suburb of Husby shot a man dead last week after he reportedly threatened to kill them with a machete.

From huff post

If so, don’t expect to gain any insight from the BBC!

Unless the perpetrator(s) was wearing something that only Mohammedans wear, or a t-shirt that said, “Kiss Me, I’m Halal”, Robinson’s statement is a problem. Islam isn’t a race anyway, so it’s doubly dopey.

From the BBC report on it:
According to senior Whitehall sources the people carrying out the attack were heard to say: “Allahu Akbar [God is Great]”, BBC political editor Nick Robinson reported.
So maybe he meant that they sounded Muslim?

Wow, the Beeb mention the ‘M’ and ‘I’ word:

This is being treated as a serious terrorist attack by Islamist extremists on the streets of Britain.
The Prime Minister is expected to speak to the home secretary at 18:15 from a train to Paris about what is now being treated by the government as a suspected terrorist attack. Theresa May will chair a meeting of the COBRA emergency committee at 18:30.

We will get the usual mixture of obfuscation, said and unsaid:-
‘this terrible criminal act;’
‘not representative of any religion;’
‘here we have several representatives of the “religion of peace” to explain that;
‘The perpetrators are only a tiny minority’;
‘all British people must behave with restraint;’
‘our deepest sympathy to relatives and friends of the victim;’
‘this terrible incident must not deflect us from continuing to build our multicultural society’;
‘immigration continues to be desirable from the world over;’
‘Let us hope that this terrible incident will somehow bring us together as a nation;’
‘we must do more, as needed, for our immigrant friends.’

The BBC cannot be trusted.

For INBBC:-
“ALLAHU AKBAR”

‘Guardian’ frantically trying to relegate the Islamic jihad nature of the beheading of British soldier in London:
E.g. one of those headlines, beloved of INBBC, to disguise it-
“Man killed in deadly terror attack in London street”
Omissions in above headline:-
1.) there is no subject, no perpetrator;
2.) ‘Man’ is British soldier;
3.) ‘deadly attack’ is Islamic jihad;
3.) the ‘deadly attack’ was a beheading;
4.) ‘in London street’ is excellent.
