Another open thread to kick the week off…the sun is shining, the day is beautiful and the future’s bright….but there is absolutely no connection to Islam I should make clear.
‘The extremists are the media, the BBC…who have bandied about the word ‘racist’ in an attempt to suppress any opposition to the Third World colonisation of Britain, in effect creating a society whose every second thought is now race…Things like the increasing imposition of multicultural totalitarianism & the Woolwich atrocity that it pathetically failed to stop are not accidents. They are the symptoms of a deep disease of the political system. This disease is extremism, but not as the mass media uses the term.’ http://www.westernspring.co.uk/extremism-and-the-displacement-of-the-political-spectrum/
There was a lot of discussion on the BBC yesterday about how difficult it would be to stop hate preachers and how banning them and their organisations would be a blow against an open society.
It is staggering that the people spouting this are exactly those who have succeeded in making it impossible to discuss the problems we have in Britain with Islam and with immigration, without being called a racist and visited by the police. So much for free speech!
There is no doubt that many white people in Britain are inhibited from saying what they think because they fear the law. A law which doesn’t seem to apply to Muslims.
If we had a respectable Front Nationale Party, as they have in France, I think it would sweep the board. Even UKIP , let alone the Tories, are too timid to really tackle immigration and the problems caused by Islam. But of course the BBC and the liberal left elite would do everything necessary to bury any attempt to form such a party. So a huge section of the British people are not represented on the most important issue affecting them , in fact they are not even allowed to express a view, and their License Fee is used to distort or cover up the truth and to provide apologies for terrorists and preachers of hate.
I wish some one from the liberal left or the BBC could explain why this is? Mind you, it is interesting because you don’t often see a nation commit mass suicide.
“distort or cover up the truth and to provide apologies for terrorists and preachers of hate”
this is what is so SO needed, here in the UK, yep!
its had to come from across the pond,(bbc eh!)
it is a truly excellent video.
UK assault on free speech – selling out freedom
bbcs non stop shilling for islam, again this morning just caught
5live VD. V. Drearybyshire
has a “former”? Mujahid, who radicalised others, sent hundreds to kill/die in Bosnia/Afghanistan, personally warped the mind of daniel pearl murderer so he decapitated him etc etc.
the erm “understanding”? tone, the “sympathetic”” ear?
this sh-tbag now rakes it in from the UK government, from schemes like Prevent, is now a member of Quilliam, he gets to dictate a 30min monologue … my blood pressure eh!
still not one … NOT ONE … single attempt to address the root of the issue.
The texts that he used, that mass murderers use
that preachers use, the internets uses all over the world – there is the fascism – there is the hate – there is the imperative.
When dregs of scum like him, or the islamic nutter who has just come back from Mecca and perpetrated another attack in France, yep after the soldier was stabbed in the neck, after the murder in Woolwich.
Every mosque, in this country has that manual there on the lectern, no surprise it inspired Hitler/Mein Kampf.
the Hadith it is all there, address that, seriously … and your halfway there, without the “fuel”, the reprobates
who spout it, will be powerless, expunge the bile, the “sickness” will subside, the issue of its totalitarian cult style approach can be approached in stages.
Seriously act, in the Prisons, in the Universities, in the Mosques now … and the issue of a islamic terrorism tide
can be turned … pandering and cowardice is never an answer, throwing money into an unregulated moneypit?
well just do the math?
Did she really speak with someone who sent jihadis to Bosnia way back when? If so, that puts the lie to the whole “US/UK foreign policy is the root cause” Narrative. We were saving Mohammedan lives by the tens of thousands there. We got attacked anyway.
Over the last few days I have listened to many BBC interviews with people of the Islamic faith who insist that violence is incompatible with their religion. Fair enough. I would suggest that the interviewers then press them with the question: do you renounce those specific passages in Islamic texts which call for violence against non believers? A simple question which resolve many misundestandings.
One might get the retort that similar verses exist in the bible. This would no doubt be considered an adequate response by the questioner. The fact that such passages exist in the OLD Testament and not the teachings of Christ always seem to be ignored.
i wanted to ask, on air last week, no dice i m afraid.
there is no comparison between new testament, and the quran so any argument on the bible are empty arguments.
There is only one verse that is common to both the Bible and the Koran.
The Muslims pinched it, and it`s relatively safe.
Unless , being a Muslim YOU think that YOU`RE the Righteous ones referred to!
Unsurprisingly, Muslims do just that.
So -more trouble I`m afraid.
And only a fool would dare to equate Sura 5, 8 and(especially in current times) Sura 9 with anything to be found in the Bible.
A few semitic verses you`ll need a fine toothcomb for in one Book…as opposed to whole screeds and diatribes of blood-curdling vengeance and threats to the untermenschen in the other.
As if that`ll stop the BBC from saying they`re just as bad!
Anybody heard from Shami, Trevor, Lee or George yet?….or is it one of their times for cool reflections?
There are no similar verses which are in the Old Testament so far as I’m aware. I’d love to see references to such verses, because the lefties love to trot this out.
My usual response is imagine that we have a Muslim prisoner I’m prosecuting & you’re defending. I stand up and say that the Muslim prisoner is accused of doing some bad things, you then stand up and say ‘yes he has your honour but Christians have done bad things too!’ It simply doesn’t work as a defence, the old two wrongs don’t make a right.
Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.
Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed.
Exodus XXXI: 14
Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death;
There are several instances in various books of blasphemers being stoned to death, as God commanded. And that’s without citing the usual Deuteronomy bits the Beeboids love to throw out. There’s also plenty of stuff about God ordering and empowering the Israelites to kill all their enemies – man, woman, and child – on the way to conquering Canaan.
Nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity, of course. And no Jews have wanted to do this stuff for a couple thousand years and more, either. It’s a fatuous argument because the context is completely different. That won’t stop the Beeboids from pushing it again, though.
The Jews are unable to stone anyone to death since the Temple was destroyed 2000 years ago, and will not be able to again until a new one is built – and there’s a rather large mosque in the way.
But none of the Exodus quotes are as specific or far reaching as the Jihadist quotes from the Qur’an. Also remember that the Israelites escaped from the Egyptians and that was around 3500 years ago!
With 10% of the population under 25 now Muslim – surely it is time to stop. This is truly an “alien wedge” with too many fellow-travellers / condoners of terrorism even here in their adopted country. Too many people with a dual loyalty. No nation can work like that, it is simple logic that integration is going backwards rather than forwards.
Great article by Mark Steyn. He deals with the horrific and rapid apology by Nick Robinson about using the term “Islamic appearance” to describe the murderers who were shouting Moslem slogans and thus appeared Islamic to anyone within earshot or knife range.
If, for nothing else, the BBC should be made to pay for that apology.
So then…how do we list the excuses?
1. Soldier in Help For Heroes T-shirt( stop selling them or make sure that NO uniform appears on the streets?…anybody tell me how that idea came out on the BBC?)
2. Foreign policy, Tory cuts, poverty and anger of young males?
3. MI5/6 were supposed to know?…police slowness to act.
4. No intervention, lack of co-ordination from Kenya?…trauma of Kenyan community payback sentencing?
5. Lack of a snoopers charter that John Reid would have done when he was letting Muslims howl him down in 2006?
But he didn`t
There may be many more….but there`s only one reason for it.
Sura 9 ordains it so-and our good Muslim Nigerian just carried it out for us…the living sword of the Koran comes to Woolwich.
Oh dear-too simple eh?…too scary?
Would Warsi like a trip to meet Anjem somewhere outside the M25…let a task Force sail with Heseltine carrying olive trees and hummus for his Garden Centre City of Leicester?
Sorry bubs..too late.
Other excuses, red herrings, canards and lightning conductors are available for hire until the Nigerians get released back into the Muslim Community in prison for a couple of weeks(the Huhne Option).
Boy, we`re in schtuck!
Had the good fortune to have not had any wi-fi connection since Thursday night, and notbhad a single view of a tv screen, just got back to civilization and found the new Gospel written in plain and simple enough language stickied to the top.
Not able to dispute the logic, but bothered it may seem somewhat too authoritarian for some, and sincerely hope that our Pounce continues to post his experience led wisdom here about the ROP.
(Thinks, need to get a mention of bbc bias in every post? )
Seriously, It is truly difficult to lay down hard and fast rules, having previously seen appeals by mods against what they saw as a preoccupation with the ROP, only to have that appeal self ignored the very next day, and then excused by the phrase ” events dear boy, events”
I have for some time recommended this blog to anyone and everyone I am able to, via twitter or whatever means available, and would hope to continue to do so.
I have to accept the gospel, as written above, and would accept the mods decisions of course ( is there any choice? )
But all must remember, not one of us is perfect, and whether anyone thinks of me as a one trick pony, well that’s of no consequence to me.
So, long may the blog continue.
Pakistan muslims tried to hijack an airplane over Manchester, BBC called it an ‘incident’ and swept it under the carpet. Tired of the propaganda ?
Here’s Lawrence Auster who passed away at Easter, discussing islam, it’s so refreshing to hear the honest truth.
1. The problem of Islam.
2. Why do we deny the problem of Islam ?
3. And if we did stop denying the problem of Islam, what would we do to solve the problem of Islam.
Can anybody enlighten me on the BBC policy for webpage headlines? From today’s UK web page (I can’t be bothered to link)
1) In relation to the murder of Lee Rigby “Woolwich police release three men”. Scanning this headline I thought that the police had released three men without charge etc – I got the impression thet the police had made a mistake.
2) “Women bailed over fatal dog attack”. I understood this headline instantly as it included the word “bailed”.
3) My proposal “Woolwich police bail three” has seven fewer characters and accurately reflects the story
I find that BBC headlines and stories now largely resemble a random collection of web key words that make no sense or are wildly misleading – the BBC insisted that their “EDL Bomb Plot” headline was accurate and informative.
Personally I think they need to replace a few sub editors (at least!) with people who have at least a GSCE grade C pass in English, who understand what words mean and how to construct meaningful, grammatical sentences and to hell with net presence – the point is we need to be informed accurately; the objective is not to accumulate web hits -if this was the case why not just go to the logical conclusuion and add in porn related key words into headlines too.
Already posted this on another thread, sorry for doubling up, but it’s a good read…
Good article here from Quentin Letts about the BBC, who are more than willing to give an open mike to Islamic extremist radicalisers, yet consider it appropriate to effectively ‘no-platform’ other proponents of views that are far less ‘controversial’, or even mainstream…
Defenders of the BBC will say it is important that we know such violent sympathies bubble under society’s facade. Society has, in its darkest pockets, men and women who believe in all sorts of Satanic misdeeds.
But liberals, rightly, would never contemplate giving them a platform on prime-time network television.
…
Indeed, I find it more difficult to feel disquiet about Channel 4, whose news reporting has long been testing and rigorous, even if it often dresses to the Left. It is harder to give the BBC the benefit of the doubt. This is a Corporation which for years has promoted political correctness at the expense of journalistic truth.
This is a Corporation whose news editors have been bullied into silencing criticism of working-class views about multiculturalism and immigration.
You agreed with Enoch? Your voice went unheard. The middle-class snoots of the BBC hierarchy would not hear of such intolerance.
You support the death penalty, English nationalism, a flat tax rate, an end to the welfare system? No airtime for you.
Would Anjem Choudary have been given such a comfortable ride on primetime telly if he had been attacking wind farms; if he had been calling for Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union; if he had been questioning the MMR vaccine?
Precisely. Because Mr. Choudary is not a recognisable part of that most dangerous of groups – ‘the far right’ – he’s considered to be less serious a threat to the nation than Mr. Griffin and his unpleasant mob. This in itself is a dangerous form of denial, enthusiastically propagated by the BBC.
Anjem Choudary himself may not be a danger to anyone, but the products of his life’s work most certainly are.
There is nothing the BBC and the liberal left enjoy so much as national (English, that is) self-loathing, which explains their support for mass immigration – in their eyes the sooner our culture is destroyed, the better. Orwell wrote some wonderful pieces on this theme.
Every other kind of nationalism though (leaving aside the US and Israel, obviously), gets their full approval even when – bizarrely – it is expressed so openly and aggressively on our own streets (and I’m not referring to terrorist acts – just the way they choose to report, or not report, certain incidents amounts to a kind of approval or support).
the bbc has taken a rest from Shilling for islam, and all costs protection re woolwich, to …….
Shilling for islam, re those militant/freedom fighter/arab springy/”men” jihady chappies in Syria, trumpeting the good tidings that arms are soon to be, on their way-hey!
and (boo-hiss-spit) its Assad agogo.
sheesh! can t they remember Egypts “carnival” atmosphere.
Hague is a real disaster. Much as I dislke Russian autocrats I hope Putin puts a stop to his nonsense. Before the rebellion in Syria the place was no worse than most ME hellholes and in some ways a lot better. Christians were protected by the state.
There is an agenda here by the EU that we are missing.
““I don’t go interfering in things by and large. But I do think if you see somebody doing some- thing really, really awful and you could stop it, you’ve got a duty to step in. I don’t think you can say, ‘I’m a journalist,’ and do nothing.” http://goo.gl/RtQvk
John Simpson recalls how he enjoyed stopping a US Marine from shooting an innocent civilian…
What an utter bastard that Simpson is.
“Woolwich attack aftermath: EDL supporters march through London.
“Supporters of the English Defence League took part in a march through central London on Monday.”
I noticed on the BBC evening news tonight that the EDL march did get a mention – two seconds of film and a one sentence report. The BBC website didn’t give any mention until later in the day.
It seems to me there is a formal BBC policy equivalent to the old Trotskyite one of ‘No platform for racists’.
This means BBC news doesn’t include anything about the EDL or the growing tide of anger.
When will Prince Charles be obliged by the tabloids to turn up with a wreath?
Well the BBC won’t be leading the pack on that one.
Today’s ‘Thought for the Day’ segment was presented by Canon Dr Allen Billings, Labourite, enemy of Margaret Thatcher, and a man whom Norman Tebbitt once called “the Marxist deputy leader” of Sheffield Council.
A regular contributor. The BBC sure knows how to find them.
Politicians will never address issues that one of the the biggest and most influential news broadcasters won’t cover.
Whilst the BBC plays down events and the causes of those events nothing gets done to prevent such events in the future at a structural level…all that is done is firefighting….killing the man whilst the idea lives on….for more men to take up.
not bbc, but the reason apparently is because of an affiliation between the Brit Freedom Party and the EDL makes it a political donation
and the charity apparently does not accept any political donations.
“‘Plane Threat’ Pair Remanded In Custody.
A taxi driver and waiter from Lancashire are accused of threatening to blow up a plane flying to the UK from Pakistan.”
That has to be one of the biggest jokes ever! Much as many of us would love to see some non discrimination from the Muslims, there is absolutely no chance what so ever of them blowing up an aircraft full of fellow Muslims. Such an act would send them straight to hell , without any virgins.
In addition the chances of them destroying their number 1 weapon of war – the means to get more Muslims into the West are also nil.
Equally, the national carrier of Pakistan?
Had this been almost any other carrier there might have been a pretty good chance that they were about to do what is being alluded to, but not on this flight – not a chance !
Which reminds me…
If you wanted to die in such a manner that you would be guaranteed immediate entry into paradise, and would be gifted with 72 virgins, would you necessarily pick Woolwich….?
That BBC report has a number of problems, doesn’t it? The Scotsman mentioned that those involved were thought to be “Somalis” and gang members as well as the color of their skin, while the BBC merely mentioned the color of their skin. Which aspect is more important, BBC? I suppose people should at least be grateful that BBC journalists have at last learned that the BBC’s commitment to diversity doesn’t mean they can’t report that ethnic minorities commit crimes.
Plus the BBC said that the police wouldn’t say whether or not either the victims were actually shot, or if a gun caused the fatality. Yet the BBC sub editor ran with “firearms death” in the headline anyway, and not even with attribution quotes. Defenders of the indefensible have taken us to task for less.
The Scotsman report left me a little confused about Abdi’s involvement, as it spoke only of the six Somali men being from rival gangs and not about how he was connected to any of it. But reading the BBC report and noticing the glaring omissions about what they were probably up to pretty much answered that for me. The Scotsman version even did a better job by adding the obligatory sympathy/ “our hearts go out to the family” stuff, while all the BBC did was reiterate the police statement that this was a rare occurrence, followed by the “we’re on the case”, routine. They also left out the thank you to the community from the chief inspector.
It seems that the BBC website staff could easily be replaced by a news aggregator when it comes to local stories as well.
‘Jean-Luc Solandt, the society’s senior biodiversity officer, said divers were reporting water temperatures of 10˚C or 11˚C when it should be nearer 13˚C.’
The BBC does not yet have this story on line. Slow or is it just that the report simply does not fit with their ‘global warming’ agenda?
BB 5 Live radio mention it in passing – a very casual reference – which peaked my interest. A box-ticker of a report no doubt.
BBC Radio 5 Live this morning were pushing a story based on their own research (apparently). The story is that a significant amount of people are on police bail for long periods of time. Why would they commission such research in the first place? What was the editorial decision making process that led someone at the BBC to conclude that this should be done? It can only serve to show the police in a bad light with the potential spin off that the government ‘cuts’ are adding to the police’s inability to process matters faster. One wonders what the research would have revealed had it been done three or four years ago.
I found a rather nice little website which believes the opposite to the usual nonsense. The blog pages provide an interesting insight into the state of the cooling planet.
where do you find :-
neema, mina, taha, abnad, moh, ali, and tarek at 9 oclock on Tuesday morning, for 50mins? (and no its not the panel on the big questions 😀 )

oh … attacks in prison by muslim inmates, after being asked to pray for murdered soldier Lee Rigby.
bbc
“POA spokesman said the union had received conflicting reports about how many officers were involved in the incident and the seriousness of their injuries – She would not confirm reports that one of the warders was held hostage and stabbed, or give details of the identities of the prisoners involved”
the truth …
“Muslim extremists led an attack on a prison officer at an East Yorkshire jail, the Mail understands – believed three Muslim prisoners held the warden hostage for four hours at HMP Full Sutton, near Pocklington, on Sunday”
a truly excellent video, had to come from across the pond though
UK assault on free speech – selling out freedom
The BBC reporter on their News Channel states that the BBC are prevented from giving more details of the prison hostage story yet certain facts have been widely disseminated. The Telegraph can quote from an email sent to prison staff. Perhaps the BBC are hoping the story goes away before they have to utter the M word
An email sent to all staff in the prison service says the warden was chosen by the three Muslim prisoners because of his links to the Armed Forces.
It said: “Three Muslim prisoners took an officer hostage in an office.
“Their demands indicated they supported radical Islamist extremism.
“The officer taken was an ex-serviceman and, throughout the incident, threats were made to kill him.
“All staff are reminded to remain vigilant to the increased risk of potential attacks on prison officers inspired by these and last Wednesday’s events.”
I was partially listening to the Quisling Today programme at about 8.50 this morning when Evan&Justine ‘addressed’ this issue. Obviously, 8.50 is a non-serious slot so the pair merely noted that 2 newspapers (which) had conflicting reports. So no Quisling Broadcasting Corporation [sic] journalist was able to ring the prison, or POA, or look at respective websites. Evan&Justine shilly-shallied as to whether or not there may or may not have been an enriched, and what sort, element to the incident. Curiously, unlike their initial speculation about Boston and how it all pointed toward a white-Redneck-far-right-tea-party-and-definitely-not-Religion-of-Peas perpetrator.
Since information had been out on Monday then they could have made a direct quote from both papers, so the particular enriched segment of our happy-klappy may have been mentioned directly. Though not judged. Heaven forbid.
This struck me as not merely the usual ‘please, please don’t let it be the Religion of Peas’ but a deliberate attempt by them to kick the can down the road. Let someone else at the Quisling Corporation first use the ‘M’ word and risk their career. But not Evan&Justine.
Prison officer has been taken hostage and attacked by three … “inmates”
The North East Counter Terrorism Unit, which is investigating, said two of the … “suspects” were aged 25 and the other 26.
The … “men” are not in prison for terror-related offences, a spokeswoman said
occasionally the bbcs sloppy reporting , lazy control on live shows can yield a small kernel of fact emerging. http://www.bbc.co.uk/i/b01xpt5q/
(39mins)
As David Cameron, world renown Koran scholar and expert on the life of the prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, would say,” This has nothing to do with Islam !!”
Meh, people in the region have been butchering and conquering each other by the tens of thousands for millennia before Mohammed was a twinkle in his uncircumcised father’s eye. Nothing new or unusual here. Mohammedanism is window dressing for it.
I watch 30mins this morning and note that a novelty coffin-maker from Ghana (‘..over here to drum up business…'(!)) produces ‘beautiful’ themed coffins. BBC approved art and culture always seems to get…. well how can I put it? …. words of approval.
Then I am introduced to a female Indian nightclub bouncer. That’s right folks… a female Indian nightclub bouncer.
Any news out there BBC? Or when things are slow do you simply hand over to the Diversity Unit?
Put this stuff on a subscription channel and give us the option – please!
Or at least give it a separate channel and we can check how many viewers it gets.
If kids shows have to be on CBBies then I can’t see why we can’t relegate these diversity puff pieces.
“A potential collapse of
the Syrian state greatly increases the risk of a regional sectarian war that al
Qaeda could greatly benefit from.
The challenge for those seeking regime change in
Syria is thus how to rid the country of Iranian influence while not opening the door
to transnational jihadism.”
Pannell can say “human rights activists” (practically a meaningless term these days), but I agree “opposition activists” is pretty questionable at this point, seeing as how we know at least one main group has declared allegiance to Al Qaeda. The BBC knows it as well.
It must be very difficult for the BBC to find where to draw the line between dutiful reporting of civilian casualties and appearing to make the case for regime change, which in turn can appear to be support for, in this case, jihadi opposition. But they could at least be more honest about who is who here. Pannell spoke of regular troops and the NDF doing the killing, but then further down described it as Alawite militias massacring the local Sunnis. Be more clear about the connection, BBC.
Pannell also spoke of a “leaked video”, possibly from a Syrian soldier, showing some of what happened. If it’s so revealing, why hasn’t he done a Donnison with it, I wonder? A sudden need for verification before publishing?
The President may have lifted His moratorium on sending Yemeni Guantanamo POWTs back home, but it looks like nobody’s leaving any time soon and it was a gesture for show and not much else. Fortunately, the BBC is on the case for the defense.
US President Barack Obama has lifted a moratorium on the transfer of Yemeni prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay as part of a renewed push to close the detention camp.
Nearly 800 detainees have passed through the centre since it was set up under the Bush administration in 2002 to hold “enemy combatants” from the war in Afghanistan – and 166 are still being held there.
More than half of these inmates – 89 men – come from Yemen.
They were largely picked up around in Afghanistan or border areas 11 years ago on suspicion of involvement with al-Qaeda.
But of the 86 men in Guantanamo who have been cleared for transfer or release, 56 are Yemeni. They are no longer considered enemy combatants or a threat to US security.
So why are they still there? It’s not His fault, you see. The Yemen government wasn’t an effective advocate for them the way European and other governments were on behalf of their own countrymen/residents, so the Yemeni POWTs never stood a chance. Plus, there was the Underpants Bomber, and critics were ready to attack Him on the whole security issue anyway. The BBC found an expert to tell you it was a wise move to forget about releasing them. Can’t remember Bush getting an assist like that. After that, the political situation in Yemen got worse, and there was a concern that the agni innocenti would stir up trouble once sent back there. Oddly.
Now the President is doing the same thing Bush did: saying He wants to release them all and close down Gitmo (yes, Bush actually did say that). Yet the BBC curiously offers less critical remarks about how the world is scowling at us for this human rights violation, or how it undermines the fight against terrorism. The recent hunger strike is mentioned as a bad PR issue, but no quotes from any actual critics.
Remember when the BBC used to offer more critical reporting and less water-carrying for a US President on this issue? Good times, good times……
Can’t imagine why there are no quotes to be found from Euro leaders or human rights advocates this time around.
The butchers of Woolwich were prepared to admit to their acts on video, yet remain “suspects” & “alleged” killers according to the BBC. Propaganda needs require a different approach in today’s BBC story of deaths in the Syrian civil war. The corpses in Al-bayda are those of “innocent” victims according to the filmed report.
Until a court finds them guilty they are suspects! Once they are charged they become ‘the accused’, but I would remind you of that great tenet of the British legal system, that everyone is innocent until found guilty.
Michael White Guardian editor on the PM program gave a disgusting interpretation of the murder of Lee Rigby saying that it should be treated as ‘just another murder’ and that people are in more danger from the street gangs (never mentioned most of them are black though!).
Dan Hodges another leftie was more measured and told Eddie Mair that people were genuinely angry – more so than they were after the tube bombings. Mair was incredulous he found it difficult to believe that people were angry at all & couldn’t understand why they would be.
It just sums up the left wing cocoon the BBC apparatchiks operate in.
British Broadcasting Corporation radio where this evening Peter Alan is much amused by ‘texts’ poking fun at ‘typical* egg-and-chips English couples’ on holiday in France and struggling with the language and the food.
(*Typical or national stereotype – the mainstay of the good old fashioned low comedian)
Oh deary me! There and then I nearly laughed my sneering liberal elite low fat derrière right off! Oh the faux pas!
Now for some jokes about Indian call centre wallahs?
Chinese takeaways?
Pakistani corner shops?
Thought not.
You go give those typical English hell – that seems to be the mandate.
I have some sympathy – with the food at any rate. Took a holiday in Provence a couple of years ago and the food was boringly repetitive – pasta, steaks, omelettes and fish (if you were lucky), all cooked to a very average standard. Not all it’s cracked up to be but hey, suits the BBC’s anti-English agenda doesn’t it – everywhere, everything and everybody is better than England and the English.
Funny thing is, talking to Pakistanis very few of them have tried or are prepared to try any different foods. Even Arabic foods are too much for them, so no Hummus or Meze which I found quite surprising.
One issue which the BBC doesn’t seem able to link is that of the muppet we call a foreign secretary looking to arm Jihadist militants in Syria. We know that Michael Adebolajo was trying to recruit jihadists to fight in Syria, and there are reports that he at least attempted to get there himself. And now Hague wants to give people like this heavy weapons?
The platitudes are offered that they will be heavily supervised so they don’t fall into the wrong hands, but as the expert says the weapons given to the Afghans ended up being used against us.
A government & government minister who has left the path of sanity, and a broadcaster unable to broadcast the entire picture because of its terror of saying something not politically correct.
I know INBBC is concerned for the welfare of Muslims, including those it variously describes as ‘activists’ or ‘militants’, (and whom others call ‘Islamic jihadists’), but how concerned is INBBC for the welfare of Christians?:-
“Melkite Greek Catholic Archbishop on Syrian jihad: ‘Many are dying, but those who are losing the most are Christians.’
[Opening excerpt]:-
“The Arab Spring that has lauded by Obama and the mainstream media as a wonderful flowering of democracy and pluralism is now completely exposed for what it really is.”
Ho hum Normal service is resumed at BBc North west Tos**te. Their political correspondent is doing a 3 piece report on militant in Liverpool in the 1980’s. Opening the piece in the 60’s & 70’s Liebour were right wing. WTF!!!??? More right wing than Blair? More right wing than edl? More right wing than what? History re-written before your very eyes.
Spot the missing facts about the physical assault which prompted the shooting in this BBC News Online breaking story about character evidence being prohibited from opening remarks in the upcoming trial over the death of Trayvon Martin:
Mr Zimmerman had been sitting in his vehicle watching a neighbourhood street when he saw Martin and deemed him suspicious. He telephoned authorities, then left his vehicle to pursue Martin.
Florida police did not arrest Mr Zimmerman for six weeks after the shooting.
He has denied he intended to shoot Martin, claiming the teenager became aggressive and threatened him and that he drew his legally carried gun and shot in self-defence.
The case drew national attention because the state’s controversial “stand your ground” law grants individuals wide latitude to use deadly force if they feel seriously in danger.
There is police report evidence of assault, an eyewitness to back up Zimmeran’s claim that he was assaulted, as well as photo and video evidence of his injuries. ABC initially doctored the video to hide the evidence, until getting called out on it.
The BBC censored all news of this evidence at the time, and censored all news of the surrounding controversy over NBC doctoring audio of Zimmerman’s call to the dispatcher with the intent to make him sound racist. As far as the BBC audience knows, the kid was shot from a distance in cold blood. The BBC has form on misrepresenting and hiding key facts about the reality of this story.
Zimmerman, the most famous “White Hispanic” on the planet, won’t even be a case if The Messiah Himself wouldn’t interfere before an investigation was even started.
Just another example on how the celebrity man-child and His racism functions. It was self-defense but since The Wohn laid other direction on how Justice should be done, all O-cultists jumped on it only to see the whole thing blown to their faces. Right now they just try to sweep the whole story quietly under the rug.
Credit to the BBC for “One to One” on Radio 4 from 09:30 to 09:45 this morning (Tue 28/5/13). Clive Myrie interviewed Alp Mehmet about his life in the diplomatic service and role in Migration Watch. Mehmet made some good, sensible points about immigration and population growth in the UK.
The BBC is caught between a rock & a hard place on this. Alp Mehmet is a member of an untouchable ethnic group which must never be criticised. On the other hand he is putting forth views which are anathama to the BBC so they dither and do nothing.
‘Welsh political establishment luvvies Rhuanedd Richards and Elin Gwilym had a good old chit chat at the Urdd, a nationalistic welsh language youth festival, this weekend. Rhuanedd is a former BBC Wales political correspondent turned chief executive of Plaid Cymru, while Elin is a current BBC Wales hack in the running, some say, to become their new political editor. Rhuanedd and Elin are mates, so much so that photographs together in a tent at the rainy campsite were posted on Facebook. For some reason the photos uploaded to Rhuanedd’s Facebook page were mysteriously deleted after Guido pointed out the cosy relationship yesterday. BBC Wales and Plaid Cymru are getting ever closer…’
If you want a vision of the future, imagine the BBC ramming a leek into an English face – forever.
Echoes the point I was making above – any nationalism as long as it’s not English gets BBC approval, but especially if it’s putting two fingers up to England.
nearly all of those incidents, of “hate” (islams favourite word), comprise of contrived somebody shouted something, pulled a hijab,
wanted to remove a veil, a mosque window got broken, absurd tabs re the internet etc …
and when anyone mentions the crock, the nonsense word, the lie intending deceit, the entirely false construct, the orchestrator of victimhood, “islamo -faux- bia”
sadly, suspicions should rightly be aroused.
A piece on BBC TV news today about how outraged environmentalists are by the government trying to meet its renewable targets by burning wood grown thousands of miles away in US forests.
Funny, though, the zombie spoutings of the eco-fascist they interviewed were not challenged at all. For example, Harrabin (for it was he) could have asked:
‘Well how would you meet renewable targets and keep the lights on?’
or
‘Is there any point to reducing carbon emissions when the AGW theory is looking dead in the water?’
or even
‘Should the government have kept Drax burning coal until an alternative could be found, especially as temperatures aren’t rising?’
Nothing.
Just………*tumbleweed* (and the unstated assumption that AGW is still the ‘settled science’).
How odd was that, then, guys n’ gals, coming from the home of the world’s greatest investigative journalists, committed to educating and informing, with trust and impartiality at its core.
No reporting either as to the role Tony BLiar played in signing the UK up to ridiculous CO2 targets lower than any other country, and on a faster time scale, with huge financial penalties for failing.
For this reason Drax could not be kept running on coal, and the countries ultimate solution is smart meters which will cut people off if they use too much!
Oh no, Hampstead HARRABIN has flown all the way to the United States and back to prepare us for his next high-cost campaign: to stop the burning of imported wood pellets in UK to keep the lights on.
“Renewable energy: Burning US trees in UK power stations”
By Roger Harrabin
Environment analyst, Georgia, US,
So for Harrabin and high-cost ‘greenies’, it’s-
no coal, no oil, no gas (and especially no gas from fracking process), no nuclear power, and coming soon – no imported wood pellets.
Is that Ed West of the “Torygraph”, who has long been critical of BBC bias and I think has even cited this blog once or twice?
Just saving defenders of the indefensible the time and effort of coming up with a snide remark and sparing us having to read it. Whether or not the study actually used all the relevant data and was done properly won’t matter to them.
Having said that, I think it’s unfair for the Mail to have Tim Willcox in that picture associated with this kind of bias. He’s ex-military (has said so on air) and I think is a secret non-Leftoid, and doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with the likes of Stage Performer Maitlis, one of the worst of the biased Beeboids. After all, he’s only sharing the desk with her because he left his wife and children for fellow BBC News co-anchor (what a shock, eh?), Sophie Long, and they split them up once it came out.
Good article – thanks. But it omits to mention that the BBC never discuss the hidden agenda of the Blair government which was to open the floodgates to mass immigration without giving us a vote on it.
President Obama said the government would be there for the “folks in Monroe, Oklahoma after the devastation of last week” during his address on the Jersey Shore Tuesday afternoon, making him the second Democrat Tuesday to call Moore, the city crushed by a tornado May 20, by the same incorrect name.
Curiously unremarked on Twitter, never mind the BBC News website, by Beeboids who pounced on even the tiniest slip by Sarah Palin, even when she held no public office and wasn’t running for one.
‘Curiously unremarked on Twitter, never mind the BBC News website, by Beeboids who pounced on even the tiniest slip by Sarah Palin..’
This is one of the more pernicious of political biases in the media and it is busily at work within those twin pillars of our Left-leaning established mind-set : Twitter and the BBC.
Part of the problem has been apparent since Leftism ceased to be a working class movement.
It is the concept : Left = clever, Right = dumb.
This may be a UK centric explanation but I am sure something similar has happened in the US. Labour politics was once conducted in Fred Kite’s back parlor (ref : Peter Sellers). But now Labour politics are plotted in the likes of Prof Miliband’s missus’s Islington salon.
And there’s another thing: the huge influence that exposure to Left-leaning Ner-ner Ner-ner-ner anti-establishment alternative comedy has had over mainstream news and current affairs broadcast presenters.
Every BBC Nicky Campbell and Richard Bacon now thinks he’s a budding Ben Elton or Graham Chapman.
The BBC ought to be rebalanced to flush out some of the ‘national treasures’ – we all know who they are. Lift them off the public teat and let them make their own way out on the roads of the nation of which they are supposed treasures.
the bbc in rampant “far right far right” mood this morning,
an upcoming england football match, brings dire warning
and concerns about this match … because of the far right? EDL? and racism?, cor lummy! which part?
jewish part?, the sikh part?, the black and white, mixed heritage fellas who make up the majority? the womens section perhaps?
The release of the EDL members list by the hacker group anonymous appears to have been done with the help / collusion of the BBC. All stories appear to link back to the BBC story which appears to be the original.
The University of Nalanda…a great revival of a Medieval Centre of Learning that for centuries had been the focus of Buddhist culture … in Asia….China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Burma…wherever Buddhism is part of the cultural landscape is to be revived by the newly confident economic powers of East Asia.
The BBC goes into great detail…quite a good deal of information…rather longer than the standard article.
Right at the beginning the BBC tells us…destroyed by ‘invaders’ in 1193.
That’s all. ‘Invaders’…just slipped in.
Who destroyed this cultural jewel of centuries old learning and civilisation? This University ‘was an eminent centre of learning long before Oxford, Cambridge and Europe’s oldest university Bologna were founded.’ ther BBC tells us.
The BBC does not tell us.
Another source tells us….
Nalanda was ransacked and destroyed by an army under Bakhtiyar Khilji in 1193. The great library of Nalanda University was so vast that it is reported to have burned for three months after the invaders set fire to it, ransacked and destroyed the monasteries, and drove the monks from the site’
Who was ‘ Bakhtiyar Khilji’?
A Moslem hero in poetry and song…a Golden Age Moslem by date. A hero to moslem poets.
He promoted religion and destroyed idols and false knowledge by burning down the ancient Nalanda University.
The whole of Asia knows what happened…but the BBC skirts over this inconvenient little truth.
I want balance…but wont get it from the BBC…on Islamic history at least.
Some guy, who was ex BNP in his youth, now a member of an anti fascist group called ” Help not Hate ” or is it ”Hope not Help,” can’t remember the title, was on Radio 5 this morning, talking about the BNP, EDL, NF, etc etc.
It was like all his Christmases had come early for Nicki Campbell or should that be Ramadan since they all detest Christianity at the BBC.
Campbell went into full Roland Freisler mode and squealed ”What’s so British about aggressive Englishmen of the EDL throwing bottles at police officers ? ( Unlike say, muslims beheading people in the street ?) note no euphemisms here, no ”men, suspect, alleged ” but Englishmen.
I’ve never met a member of the EDL, BNP, KKK or th SS, but the mindset of Nicki Campbell was that Britain was crawling with Neo Nazis and waaycists, from John O’Groats to Lands End, just itching to establish the Fourth Reich and hoist the swastika over Buckingham Palace by lunchtime, and install Nick Griffin as Prime Minister !!
Nicky Campbell’s ‘Your Call’ segment yesterday asked the question ‘should we be arming anyone in Syria?’. Nicky opens up with ” In the past ,of course ,we know about the history of this country and the West arming the Saddam Hussein in Iraq during the Iraq-Iran war…”. Yes Nicky, whatever you do, don’t tell your listeners that Iraq was armed overwhelmingly by the Soviet Union and her allies.
Or that Saddam used chemical weapons against Iran – you know, the weapons of mass destruction you BBC lefties were keen make it appear he never had – ever.
‘Josie Long spent her early life in Orpington, South East London and began performing stand-up comedy at the ridiculously young age of 14. At 17 she won the BBC New Comedy Awards’
‘She contributed sketches and one-liners to BBC Radio One’s 2004/05 comedy show, The Milk Run with Andrew O’Neill. One edition of the show was entirely given over to a script she co-wrote with her friend Dan Harkin’
‘Her radio series Josie Long: All of the Planet’s Wonders was broadcast on BBC Radio 4’
‘She has also been involved in BBC Switch, on a weekly mini-feature called Josie Long’s Confuse the Teacher Feature’
Pretty much a BBC comedy apprenticeship.
It would be unfair to attempt to judge her talent for comedy – but I think it is safe to say that she has hardly had to build a career in a traditional sense. Fringe awards and regular BBC Radio 4 gigs are certainly not the way that Les Dawson or Ken Dodd flourished.
And as so often with the modern BBC and its so-called comedy it really isn’t (Josie) long before we come to politics. Our Josie joined the HIGNFY team recently.
Our Josie does do her fair share of political comedy. She does Trade Union sponsored activist shows telling the young (and vulnerable?) that the evil Tories are busy closing their youth centres.
Is our Josie an honest child of the humble toilers?
‘My parents are … My mum just retired and moved to Tenerife. She’s obsessed with Tenerife and her dog, it’s very cute. When he worked, my dad had something to do with the Dartford Tunnel. Now he’s just obsessed with Facebook.’
‘The house I grew up in … Until I was 12, it was a semi-detached on an estate – half council, half owned – in the dreary suburbs of Orpington, south London. There was a mix of people – one girl on our road had a pet pig; we did stuff like carol singing and collecting for charity.’
‘Long spent her early life in Orpington, Kent, where she attended Newstead Wood School for Girls in Swift House. She also attended GIFT Ltd. summer schools’
‘At 18 she gave up stand-up whilst attending Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford’ ‘She read English Language and Literature’
Posh single sex girl’s school and English at Oxbridge – how uncool!
‘My house is … My boyfriend and I rent half a terraced house; it’s untidy but full of love.’
Something tells me she’s slumming it considering all the BBC fees she must have banked.
‘My secret crush … is [the rapper] Mos Def..’
Ah… he sounds well cooool! (On several counts) Suffice to say I hade to look him up.
‘In 2000, Mos Def performed a benefit concert for death row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal’
(Mumia Abu-Jamal was once a Black Panther)
‘Mos Def said that he did not listen to any of Osama Bin Laden’s messages because he did not trust the translations’
Right on Man! (Wo-man!?)
I can’t help but feel the BBC is forcing the likes of Josie Long on the British public. Consequently they are helping her to spread her views.

Mind you, it is interesting because you don’t often see a nation commit mass suicide.

still not one … NOT ONE … single attempt to address the root of the issue.

Seriously act, in the Prisons, in the Universities, in the Mosques now … and the issue of a islamic terrorism tide
can be turned … pandering and cowardice is never an answer, throwing money into an unregulated moneypit?

Here are a few for you:
Exodus XXII: 18-20
Do not allow a sorceress to live.
Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.
Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed.
Exodus XXXI: 14
Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death;

Mark Steyn on the ball again – how stupid Britain appears to people overseas :
http://nationalreview.com/articles/349308/slaughter

In short, would Anjem Choudary get the Nick Griffin Question Time treatment, or would they put together a 9/11 audience for him or someone like him?

Precisely.

I suspect these ‘rebels’ want to turn Syria into a Jeffersonian style democracy, bit like Sweden, yeah, that’ll be it. The madness continues.

Interesting report on 10 O’Clock news that most people in Britain are not angry over the murder of Lee Rigby – just saddened and sympathetic.
Obviously they have’t got a clue what people are thinking outside of the Guardian reading news office.

If people aren’t angry, why is the BBC spending so much energy trying to calm everyone down? Agenda? What agenda?

Hard not to comment eh David?
Politicians will never address issues that one of the the biggest and most influential news broadcasters won’t cover.
Whilst the BBC plays down events and the causes of those events nothing gets done to prevent such events in the future at a structural level…all that is done is firefighting….killing the man whilst the idea lives on….for more men to take up.

Two alternative reports:
1.) BBC-NUJ-
“Edinburgh firearms death man named as Mohammed Omar Abdi”

2.) ‘The Scotsman’:-

INBBC’s Pannell’s word for Islamic jihadists is the euphemistic, deliberately misleading word, “activists”.
INBBC is politically attracted to Sunni Muslim Islamic Jihadists, and it shows in the propaganda.
“Syrian activists document al-Bayda and Baniyas ‘massacre'”

For INBBC:-
“Jihadists and Syria”
http://www.defenceviewpoints.co.uk/articles-and-analysis/jihadists-and-syria

Conclusion to above:-
“A potential collapse of
the Syrian state greatly increases the risk of a regional sectarian war that al

Guantanamo Bay: Why are so many inmates from Yemen?

Blair in the person of Milliband, in fact.

In which the teleprompter betrays Him again, obviously, as He’s far too intelligent and cool and capable to do this on His own:
Obama: We’ll Be There for Folks of ‘Monroe, Oklahoma’

EDL? and racism?, cor lummy! which part?
jewish part?, the sikh part?, the black and white, mixed heritage fellas who make up the majority? the womens section perhaps?
bbc bias … you betcha!

I never heard anything quite like it, I think Nicki Campbell was practically having an orgasm in his anti EDL rant.

The release of the EDL members list by the hacker group anonymous appears to have been done with the help / collusion of the BBC. All stories appear to link back to the BBC story which appears to be the original.

What clearer demonstration of bourgeois leftist hypocrisy could there be?

The University of Nalanda…a great revival of a Medieval Centre of Learning that for centuries had been the focus of Buddhist culture … in Asia….China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Burma…wherever Buddhism is part of the cultural landscape is to be revived by the newly confident economic powers of East Asia.
The BBC goes into great detail…quite a good deal of information…rather longer than the standard article.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22160989
Nalanda is being revived…
What happened to the original Nalanda?

‘she wishes she knew more about politics but knows she doesn’t like Conservatives’
Josie Long is a BBC nurtured and sponsored comedian.
http://www.comedycentral.co.uk/comedians/josie-long
‘Josie Long spent her early life in Orpington, South East London and began performing stand-up comedy at the ridiculously young age of 14. At 17 she won the BBC New Comedy Awards’
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josie_Long
‘She contributed sketches and one-liners to BBC Radio One’s 2004/05 comedy show, The Milk Run with Andrew O’Neill.
Our Josie joined the HIGNFY team recently.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b021454x/Have_I_Got_a_Bit_More_News_for_You_Series_45_Episode_8/
(Series 45 episode 8! Goodness me. Time for a rest perhaps? I digress)
At 1.47 our Josie is introduced in this way ‘A comedian who says she wishes she knew more about politics but knows she doesn’t like Conservatives’
Oh dear. Where to begin?
http://www.josielong.com/alternative_reality_tour.htm
Our Josie does do her fair share of political comedy. She does Trade Union sponsored activist shows telling the young (and vulnerable?) that the evil Tories are busy closing their youth centres.
Is our Josie an honest child of the humble toilers?
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/my-secret-life-josie-long-comedian-28-2037464.html
She would have us believe so….
There was a mix of people – one girl on our road had a pet pig; we did stuff like carol singing and collecting for charity.’
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josie_Long
Is that the whole story Josie?
(On several counts) Suffice to say I hade to look him up.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mos_Def#Social_and_political_views
‘In 2000, Mos Def performed a benefit concert for death row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal’
(Mumia Abu-Jamal was once a Black Panther)
‘Mos Def said that he did not listen to any of Osama Bin Laden’s messages because he did not trust the translations’
Right on Man! (Wo-man!?)
I can’t help but feel the BBC is forcing the likes of Josie Long on the British public. Consequently they are helping her to spread her views.
