    News of the 18 and 19 year sentences handed out to 6 Muslims for their intended murderous attacks on an EDL rally goes straight to the top of the Sky news site.

    Not so at the BBC site, however. Maybe because it overshadows all the bleating on the Today programme about mostly pretty minor insults thrown at Muslims dressed as peasants following the murder of Lee Rigby.

    As others have said, the Today programme was wall-to-wall with the claims of Islamophobia. Far less space and attention given to MPs report on the heinous crimes of Pakistani Muslims grooming very young white girls.

    I saw a report in the Times last week that these grooming cases have been tracked in 37 towns. DOZENS of towns. And that this is the tip of the iceberg. Probably THOUSANDS of young girls involved, apparent;ly.

    Can’t the BBC get it into its collective skull that child grooming and murders or intended murders on the streets – plus many previous incidents of Islamist terrorism acts and plots are the root cause of “Islamophobia”. Phobia means fear. A quite justified fear of what this barbaric religion has brought to this country.

    just saw a report on BBC website about a bomb going off in a Conservative MP surgery … no one injured and not linked to terrorism.

    went to look if it was on other sites… no sign, came back to BBC can’t find it???

    anybody heard anything about it..

    Derbyshir ethis morning ha sbeen trying to muster sympathy for the view that the new immigration rules are too tight! ROFL!!!

    She managed to find several gullible ethnic British fools who clealry takne in by passport hunting partners are now stressed to find themselves unable to import them.
    1. A slightly dim naive sounding man who made the Rookies error of marrying a Nigerian and impregnating her.
    Oh dear, he can’t go and live with her in Nigeria, can he, and he doeant earn £18K a year.
    2. A disabled woman with two children vainly imaging that her Iraqi ‘boyfriend’ is in love with her, rather than the idea of life in Britain.

    BBC-NUJ + Erdogan + Labour’s JACK STRAW = Turkey’s E.U entry.

    In its reporting of Muslim Erdogan’s return to Turkey, INBBC goes out of its way to report this (7 June):-

    [Excerpt]-

    “But Mr Erdogan has repeatedly said the project” [on the park] “would go ahead, and that the historic Ottoman-era military barracks would be rebuilt on the site as planned.

    “The protests come as Turkey prepares to host an international conference focused on its relations with the EU on Friday.

    “Mr Erdogan is to make the opening speech at the event, which will be attended by the EU’s Commissioner for enlargement, Stefan Fuele, British ex-foreign minister Jack Straw* and representatives from other member states.”

    (* Note: BBC-NUJ does not state in which capacity Straw was with Erdogan.)

    Labour’s Jack Straw, MP for the Islamising constituency of Blackburn, is of course, a leading political propagandist for Turkey’s entry into the European Union.
    Not least of Straw’s political motives for getting Turkey into the E.U. is that Turkey is a “Muslim nation”.

    *Straw, who is co-chairman of the lobbying British-Turkey Forum, has this in today’s ‘Times’:-

    “It will be the rest of Europe, more even than Turkey, that will suffer if it continues to deny this extremely important European and Muslim nation a seat at our table.”

    Of course, the lobbying for the entry of 80 million Muslim Turks continues strongly from the E.U. in Brussels, Obama, and from Britain’s political class inc three main political parties, TUC and BBC-NUJ.

    For all of them: Islamisation of Europe must be speeded up.

    This is their unquestioned political imperative.

      Of course, it doesn’t matter which political side of the conflict one is on re-Turkey, the political bottom line for BBC-NUJ, and for the many Jack Straw-type lobbyists, is that Islamic and Islamising Turkey should be in the E.U. as soon as possible.

            Is there really nothing else on this site worth your attention, Pob? Like, for example, how the BBC censored the news that the Tory MP whose office just got vandalized was at the centre of controversy over planning reforms, which campaigners argue will lead to destruction of green spaces. That bit of information might offer a clue as to the motives – and political ideology – of the perpetrator(s), no? Now, why do you suppose the BBC left that out when they offer speculation without evidence on certain other crimes. The incident has been brought up here twice already, but you saw nothing of interest. If your concern is really to help this blog become a proper forum in which to hold the BBC to account, this is an instance where you can really help.

            Seems like George made a pretty obvious connection between the BBC reporting without a raised eyebrow that Erdogan was reviving an Ottoman symbol – loaded with meaning – while letting Straw’s promotion of bringing Erdogan into Europe go without mentioning just how Islamified Turkey will be if Erdogan continues along his current path.

            If you disagree with George’s assessment, make your case. But it’s no good saying it has nothing to do with the BBC when there’s a link to one and quotes from two BBC articles.

    Congratulations to the BBC: I ran a wordsearch from within Firefox on this piece and I found no mention of ‘Islam’ or ‘Muslim’ – not even once – throughout the entire story.

      And of course the EDL are always labelled as “the far-right” EDL…which is a come-on from the liberal media to try a little harder next time, and set your watches…even learn to tell the time: if that`s better!
      The Centre for Social Justice were also described as “right-leaning”.
      Maybe so…but I`ve never heard the IPPR, Demos, Work Foundation ans all those other Blairite quangos being described as “looney left”, or “left-leaning”!
      That monocular vision again eh BBC?….simply not possible to be labelled as lefty when that is all you steep yourself in, by way of virtuous history…so easy to be a lazy reflex lefty liberal isn`t it?
      Yet again its the right that thinks and does the work of actually thinking , about anything these days.
      The left are lazy freeloaders, and spongebobs…psychic vampires all!

          That clearly skewers my theory that the EDL are “the far right” as far as the Beeb are concerned, but the IPPR are only “Left leaning”
          And , the context basically attacks the Coalition for not being Heseltiney enough…going on about cuts as opposed to investment no doubt.
          Not that anybody would regard this as a story.
          Yet I daresay the “Right Wing” epiphet for the EDL will stay round their necks for the next few days.
          Well done James…balanced reporting from the BBC as I`d have expected!

      Yes the story is headlined ‘EDL’, and there is a substory ‘Did police miss EDL bomb plot?’

      Yet as you say no mention of Islam, or even the more specific term, ‘Islamism’.

      There is also another substory, basically blaming the whole thing on the EDL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22814936 for insulting Islam.

      Perfectly normal behaviour, to blow people up. I mean every time someone insults Christianity, a bomb goes off. Same with Jews, Sikhs and Hindus. You can hardly be surprised when Muslims react the same way, can you?

      ‘As explained by our not-at-all-Leftist Professor in his grovellingly apology for British civilisation outlawing paedophilia and even outlawing slavery, so thereby offending some really peaceful and religious people who just have a different culture,
      apparently the far-right EDL were rumoured to be thought to be possibly accused of thinking of trying to blow up the far-far-right EDL,

    So now the Biased lefties have decided that the EDL are an Extreme right wing group! In their hatred of anyone with beliefs different to theirs, they seek to demonise those who dare to criticise Muslims, a groups which we know the left believe “must never be criticised no matter what they do”.
