Trust High in Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews.
What…you didn’t get that impression listening to the BBC all day?
No nor did I. In fact I didn’t hear those groups mentioned once….which is strange because you would think that the BBC would ‘celebrate’ that.
Instead we had an entirely negative story…and a unique interpetation of it, an interpretation which absolved the guilty and passed the judgement instead on those who had critical views of the ‘guilty’s’ behaviour, views which the BBC found unacceptable…rather than condemning those who behaved in a way that the Public find unacceptable.
What we had was the BBC pandering to the usual Muslim grievance industry carpet baggers….the pan handlers who come up with a figure for ‘Islamophobia’ and stretch out a hand for government money to help ‘further research’.
What I heard was the BBC telling us that in its poll of 18 to 24 year olds they found out that Muslims were perceived in a negative fashion by 60% of the poll…this the BBC obviously thought was as a result not of Muslim actions, but due to ignorance and prejudice on the part of the British Public.
However the BBC could have told us that only 29% believed Asians as a group were viewed negatively……. what wasn’t emphasised was that 43% of those polled trusted Muslims, 55% trusted Asians and 62% trusted Christians.
Hold the frontpage!
What else didn’t the BBC dwell on?
Who else is viewed negatively…almost to the same extent as Muslims at 53%….Roma/travellers and East Europeans…and teenagers at 56%….again no mention from the BBC on 5live.
Strange that all the BBC wanted to talk about was Muslims.
The poll was commissioned by Radio One and its webpage provides a fuller explanation of the findings…but still concentrates on the obvious:
Quarter of young British people ‘do not trust Muslims’
Listening to 5Live you would never have found out about the wider aspects of the poll.
What was the question asked that the BBC concentrated on?
‘Generally speaking do you think that each of the following groups of people have a positive or negative image among the British population at present.’
It should be noted that this poll was taken a couple of weeks after the death of Lee Rigby…something not mentioned on the radio….something which could well have had an effect on the outcome of the poll.
What’s wrong with that question?
The problem is that it means nothing on its own…so you find out that 60% of those polled think Muslims have a negative image in Britain….but then what? There’s no attempt to find out why that negative image is so prevalent….and bear in mind that the negative image might not be held by those polled..it is merely asking what they think other people think….odd when you think about that.
You could conclude that was the BBC’s thinking…not to investigate those reasons allows the BBC to speculate and interpret the data in its own way and to impose its own narrative on why Muslims are distrusted or ‘hated’.
The BBC brings in the usual ‘Muslim expert’ who spouts the usual drivel…racism, discrimination, the Media demonising Muslims, lack of understanding and failure of the majority to integrate and interact with Muslims.
We had one on Victoria Derbyshire’s show today discussing this…his solution….Muslims must interact with the population….er…by living their faith amongst us, bringing the knowledge to the unbeliever…showing us how wonderful Islam is.
In other words what we need is more Islam….once we get to know it we will love it.
Unfortunately most people know it all too well…and don’t like what they see.
What about racism or the Media, are they the cause of negative views of Islam?
43% trust Muslims, 27% don’t.
40% don’t trust Roma/Travellers.
55% trust Asians, 16% don’t.
62% trust Christians, 12% don’t.
So Christians and Asians get almost the same trust rating….In other words…it can’t be race that drives the negative perceptions of Muslims. What about the Media?
Clearly the evidence points to the fact that how people are perceived, how much they are trusted, depends entirely on how they act.
The poll shows that Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews all have a very similar image and trust rating despite being as ‘foreign’ as Muslims….they all have around 16% negative ratings…far below the 60% for Muslims…and there is a reason for that.
Blow up things, terrorize people, cause untold trouble and you will appear in the newspapers and on the TV.
It is your own fault, nothing to do with skin colour.
For the BBC to adopt the narrative that critics of Islam are merely ignorant, prejudiced and full of hate is a complete reversal of the facts……just who is it that is prejudiced, ignorant and full of hate for ‘the other’?
The BBC tells us that A report submitted to the Leveson inquiry into press standards last year concluded there was “a serious and systemic problem of racist, anti-Muslim reporting within sections of the British media”.
But it was a Muslim group that supplied that ‘report’. If you don’t want to be in the Media or on the front page don’t behave in a way that will get you there.
What Muslims seem to want is a complete blackout of any reporting of any Muslim behaviour that could be viewed negatively…perhaps Miliband will cap media coverage….and the BBC seem to be pushing that narrative.
What is really needed is new thinking…instead of tackling ‘Islamophobia’ the Great and the Good should be tackling Muslim attitudes, beliefs and values, closing down the Faith schools and madrassas that promote separation and hatred and investigating the Mosques that continue to allow the preaching of fundamentalist beliefs.
58% believed terrorism was the biggest threat to the UK.
At the end of the poll there was a section on immigration, the results were as you might suspect..and again ignored by the BBC.
66% believed immigration increased community tensions.
47% believed that such tension would lead to race riots.
57% wanted less immigration.
53% believed it led to higher unemployment.
47% says immigration leads to higher crime.
But, but but….Islam and Muslims bring nothing but delight to the world with their charitable donations of jihad and carnage on an almost daily basis
Why could anyone possibly have a negative opinion in regards to the religion of peace?
Allah bless the BBC for being right on the money again….(sic)

The liberal/leftist paradigm requires that all cultures are equal. In such a paradigm, the view is that there are bad apples in all cultures, particularly Christianity.
To prove that this is the case, the BBC will do everything to under-report, or not report at all, the ongoing terror attacks by Muslims on everyone, mass FGM, honour killings, gang rape of tens of thousands of young girls in the UK, at the same time vilifying Buddhists or Hindus for any misdemeanor viz pulling a hijab of a Muslim woman.
]When it becomes impossible to ignore the mass murder by Muslims of non-Muslims, the usual excuses are trotted out
Extremists, radicals, “Islmists”, misunderstanders of the koran etc
At the same time, anyone who states that the core problem is the koran and Hadiths, becomes an extreme Right winger, worse then the Nazis, or, heaven help us, the EDL.
Then the BBC commentators can sit back with smugness written all over their their faces, content that they have shown themselves to be full of tolerance and virtue.. and hang the dead and dying in Kenya, Pakistan, or remember Beslan.
A true liberal distinguishes good from evil, and has the courage to say so. Islam is evil, because it is violent- root and branch.

Attitudes to Muslims would improve if
1. Muslims were seen to act against Muslim terrorism and to support its victims and recognise there is a problem.
2. People like the PM didn’t make such obviously untrue and inflammatory remarks about Islam having no connection with these attacks
3. Media like the BBC describes criminals as Muslim when they are, not as ‘Asians’ or ‘men’.
4. All religious groups are shown equal consideration and criticism and none plays the victim card.
5. And finally, if Muslim terrorist attacks stopped then that would help attitudes!

Yes, INBBC uses a phoney ‘survey’ as an excuse to propagandise FOR Islam, and AGAINST those non-Muslims who are negative about Islam.

BBC2 Newsnight.
A ‘debate’ centered on youth opinion on involvement in politics.
Not one native Brittish face among the youths and only one male.
Am I missing something?

Beeboids’ enact political role as:
-activists, and propagandists for the colonisers of Britain, achieved via mass immigration; applauding Islam; attempting to re-educate indigenous British youth to embrace its colonisers and the concomitant ‘multiculturalism.’

Can’t disagree with that.
I was just wondering if I’d missed the point of the Newsnight package.
Should it have been ‘mostly mixed race and black, mostly female’ youth views on political involvement?
I’m not being funny – just wondered if I had misread the while point of the item.

Newsnight under Guardianista Katz has now become a comedy show. Leftwing middleclass porn. You really can’t take it seriously at all. The segment feauring a dozen black female teenagers in a pool hall setting the world to rights was introduced with the jokey comment ‘entirely unscientific’. I had to admire the way that Shanice, Jazmine and Jada thought they should tax their own grannies to pay the deficit. Their attitude to defence spending was also rather special ‘cut it, cut it…. we only need one gun’ Yeah…. that will Mark Duggan’s ?

“So Christians and Asians get almost the same trust rating…”
It would probably be even closer if Asians hadn’t been so widely smeared by the BBC for the crimes Muslims committed.
BBC indulges in racism – just add that to the long list of activities it shares with Islam.

I agree. If I were an ‘Asian’ I would be mightily peed off to be lumped together with the primitive, murderous cretins who commit vile atrocities in the name of Allah.
Asia is a huge continent with many and varied peoples. How the BBC can define people as simply ‘Asian’, as if Japanese were the same as Pakistanis, is beyond belief.

“…Trust High In Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews”
Yes, on SkyNews from Nairobi I saw a Sikh telling how he was approached by a Brit ex-army man who identified the Sikh as “a warrior”, and so together they went into the mall to help people.
I am not in the least surprised by either of them.
The lines are being drawn, and not on race as the BBC and the rest of the Lefty LibLabCon EU cabal would desperately like to make out, but on behaviour – that’s right, on what you actually do, which sooner or later will show.
So if it’s:
– sex-crimes against children
– grabbing public money
– poisoning public debate
– inciting violence
– misusing and corrupting the law
etc.
in the internet age when secrets are hard to hide, we get to watch the watchmen, and we know the reason they have deprived us of weapons is because they are very very scared.

LOL, I heard Vicky D mentioning this poll on R5L this morning and then she blamed Islamophobia.
The BBC slyly had a Muslim reporter (probably a jihadi?) interrogating white youffs. When the reporter asked an English sounding girl whether she would allow the reporter into her house, the English sounding girl said “probably not”.
After that I switched off, because you could tell the Beeb blamed English Islamomophia for this poor perception of Islam.
So the Beeb tried to make English people look bad for being Islamophobic. To redress this, here is a video by one of the BBC’s Islamic chums, the moderate and mostly secular Muslim brotherhood.

Well why would you let a stranger into your house ?
Seems a sensible girl to me.

i am sick and tired of these muslims who always phone up 5 live dictating to us that we should embrace islam and should be educated about what a peacefull religion it is,no,you should embrace english culture and learn are traditions and not impose on us your islamic culture and that was imported from countrys where you have no freedoms or democrasy and thats why you come fleeing to the west and england in your milions.the prophet mohammed ( peace be upon him) stated in the koran that muslims living in non muslim lands must and i repeat must abide the laws of that country, that is not to must to ask is it.

The term ‘islamophobia’ is a problem in itself. People who don’t like the atrocities being committed by muslims in the name of Islam don’t ‘fear’ the religion, they rationally dislike aspects of it.
Its a way of painting any rational criticism as knee-jerk, gut-based emotion, and it means that those criticised are not held to answer their critics, but instead are given a free pass.
The co-opting of language by the left is well documented, and I think we should be careful not to play into their frame.

Just heard the Act of Worship this morning.
The vicar gave us a quote from Galicians 6.22…she`d have meant 5.22( the nice bit!)…and , although she called it Galatians(correctly)….a recent TV history on Christianity DID refer to Pauls letter to the Galicians.
When Christians on the BBC can`t even get their scriptural references right-the BBC must feel perfectly entitled to distort and skew a faith that means so little to those who`d prefer a Welby to a Nazir-Ali.
Oh-and she (but of course) prayed for those minorities caught up in those unfortunate incidents in Kenya and Pakistan-but lobbed in the victims of the Pakistan earthquake too, lest she be seen to be bothered about Muslims slaughtering her “brothers and sisters in Christ”….who Paul wrote about, she talked about…but obviously wasn`t going to apply to todays world.
The BBC seem to have a problem with Galatians then-which means we maybe need to know it better!

If Muslims stopped killing Christians-maybe God would hold up on the earthquakes.
An O level Question for the likes of Anjem Choudhury perhaps?…not a question the BBC will be asking him though.
Not when the BBC are saying that he gets his undies from Anne Summers…”people are saying that now” are they not?

If Muslims want to be taken seriously and perceived well in this country then the solution is to stop acting like victims all the time when they’re the ones bombing offices for printing cartoons with Mohammed on them and so forth. There are still plenty of good Muslims around, I know one of them. Lovely gentleman and most importantly he doesn’t shove his religion down other people’s throats. He integrates but chooses not to drink, that’s about the extent of his beliefs. We need more like this and fewer of the scum that the BBC continues to promote.

More importantly though, we need secularism ASAP.
