What that ‘car crash’ was about was harridan Kirsty Squawk boasting ” look at me, look at me, I don’t take myself too seriously, I can do light and shade, the serious news and the comedy stuff, I can get down with the kids.”
I know this is a flight of fancy, but I would prefer Miss Squawk investigate something like, I don’t know, how about, Jimmy Savile abusing children at the BBC, instead of prancing about like an arse on Newsnight.
What little gravitas she had, which was zero to begin with, is now out the window. One isn’t upset by the dance troupe, they’re kids after all, and that’s what kids do, behave like halfwits.
But Kirsty Squawk is 58 years old, it’s like watching your dad dance, she should know better, but then, there’s no fool like an old fool, is there ?
Incidentally, I did note she didn’t need to put on any make up for the Halloween skit.
The Two Show, in deep trouble for some time, has ceased to be a serious news programme since the new editor took over.
The one time heavyweights, such as Paxman, are a shadow of their former selves, and the use of Victoria Derbyshire tells you all you need to know about the direction of the programme.
It really shouldn’t matter what Tom’s sexual orientation is – but that it makes the 1pm news (WATO) is the problem. The State broadcaster is so obsessed with ensuring equality for gays and women that it cannot properly evaluate the news.
Thanks for posting this vid. It explains to me where they get the regular contributors to HYS and audience for Question Time. Nice to give them an opportunity to entertain us.
Have you noticed how easily and how quickly the BBC caves in to Left-wing campaigners who want just their message put out and all other voices stifled at TV tax payer expence?
Some on the Left were uncomfortable that the BBC had given voice to indigenous discomfort over the mass-migration of the Roma into Britain recently. How do I know? The BBC tells me.
Stung by Leftist criticism the BBC is keen to make amends…
‘Photographer Ciara Leeming likes to work on long-term documentary projects, often working with sections of the community that receive little visual coverage.’
‘The tabloids may have led the charge but those from which I would hope for better – ie the Guardian and BBC – did their bit to add to the hype and sensationalism in my opinion, while ostensibly maintaining a somewhat loftier position.’
The Left do love their BBC – however they would like to see it ever more carefully censored.
I was amused by the George Orwell quote which Ciara proudly puts on her blog….
“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations”
I like the slogan that Ciara Leeming (Lemming?) uses in her Roma exhibitions: “Stay where there are songs”. Plenty of songs in places like Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria….
““Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations”

Indeed a great quote, and fine complement to the #prasnews hashtag that can easily apply to most BBC ‘reporting’ from the 8,000. That is, when not editorialising by omission.
Producer iPhones restricted to a very limited pool of guests, experts & reliable vox pop regulars, and then watertight oversight on top. A winning combo. And it only costs a compelled £145.50pa.
The Future of the BBC submission deadline is Friday, btw.
The arrogance to “adapt” the Lord’s prayer and make it her own by ending it … amen
Sounds like she ll soon be doing BBC R4s “thought for the day” along with A Choudary … I mean why not eh!
Baroness Warsi, a women ennobled solely because she was an Asian Tory Muslim!
I’ve tried to find the citation for her Baronesship but I haven’t been able to find any achievements or anything of merit which might have led to an impression of her actually deserving it.
Time the thoroughly discredited honours system was scrapped !
Pure co-incidence I know, but go into “about us” and “Staff” and “Board” and play “Count the Uddins”.
This may be why my British born daughter cannot get any cheap accommodation in London.
Wasn’t Lord Ahmed the one who thought he was the Grand old Duke of York? That time that Geert Wilders was about to visit the UK, & the Pakistani peer got a bit hot under the tailored Dishdasha & started making threats about his ‘street army’…
…He had 10,000 men.
He marched them up to the top of Big Ben,
And he marched them down again.
Well, in his head he did. He’s done chokey, too; dangerous driving. He has all the charms.
yep! … the old chip shop baron himself, remember he hosted a book launch in the House of Lords for that controversial writer Israel Shamir, Warsi surprise surprise … is daughter
of a close personal friend
There was something about a bounty on Obamas/ Bush s head can t recall it all now in some Pak national paper .. but hey …
Ahmed said he had no recollection of the interview … phew! so glad he s such an honest chap.
I love the way that the only people they chose to interview were public sector types. Asking anyone working in education for their point of view is always going to result in a left-wing one. Hardly balanced!!!
I know quite a few teachers and most of them are right wing, in the libertarian way. The problem most of them face is that if they don’t toe the line they get it in the neck. Every teacher is observed every year by their line manager and it only takes a second to wipe out the next increment on the pay scale. The line is, of course, dictated by educationalists who are, for the most part, left wing.
Despite what most people think it is quite easy to ditch a teacher that won’t conform as there are plenty of newly qualified idealists out there ready to take their place, for a couple of years. They are cheaper too. A ditched teacher is simply offered a job they can’t or won’t take and thus manoeuvred into resigning.
Part of the BBCs bias on education is that it ploughs the same furrow and refuses to ask questions that will illuminate the parlous state of education, other than in the view of ‘cuts’ of course.
But then their kids don’t attend the same schools system as ours do they?
The example I heard on my local BBC Radio this morning was a Romanian student who pays her tuition fees, works and pays tax on her pay. She felt that Romanians are stereotyped as scroungers. We were not told what job she does – but it must be a good one to be able to pay her fees and tax and still allow time for her to study (university was implied but as I type this I realise we were not told.)
Saturday night TV is cr@p so we switched on Radio 2, only to find gob on a stick and 90’s ladette Sara Cox presenting ‘Sounds Of The 80’s’. The fact that Ms Cox was just 16 when the 80’s ended beats me as to why she is considered a authority on the period. Johnny Walker was there in the 70’s (presents Sounds Of The 70’s) as was Brian Matthew ‘there’in the 60’s (Sounds of The 60’s).
Maybe is all part of the dumbing down and ‘yoofing’ of my Mums old favourite Radio 2 (remember Ray Moore and Jimmy Young?) The BBC seem not to offer a radio station for the over 65’s, is it because a large percentage of pensioners don’t pay the licence?
Anyway back to Sounds of the 80’s, there is a section where callers recall ‘their 80’s’ amazingly they found a caller representing just 3% who waxed lyrical about ‘his 80’s’ but he fondly remembered the 80’s by repeating the fact that he was ‘waiting for the wrong bus’ and who else could they play but George Michael…
Obviously the 97% of straight callers were out on Saturday night ….
On the Sunday Politics Andrew Neil asked the Shadow Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, why Labour allowed several hundred thousand a year non EU immigrants into the country between 2000 and 2009 and showed graphs of the figures. This was the first time that i have heard on the BBC the truth about Labour’s immigration record actually was. he pointed out that none of these people had no legal right to come here , unlike EU immigrants so why did Labour let them? Was it a deliberate policy or an oversight?
Of course, Ms Cooper had no answer but went on about the error of letting immigrants from EU accession countries come here with no delay. She also rabbited on about how immigrants are of benefit to the UK. Just assertions with no hard facts to back it up of course.
So once again Andrew Neil shows what the BBC is meant to do , challenge both left and right and hold them accountable for their policies.
What a pity that the BBC , for its own political reasons, choose to remain silent over those millions of non EU immigrants. Indeed not just to remain silent but to actively participate in encouraging them to come here and try to calm our fears about immigration by lying to us on a massive scale over a prolonged period.
I hope that as it becomes clear how damaging the Open Door policy has been, that people hold Labour and the BBC to account for ruining our green and pleasant land.
I sympathise with your last sentence but very much doubt that Labour voters will take note. I live in a safe Labour area and I can tell you now they would vote for a baboon with a red rosette if that was the Labour candidate. Most of the voters are not in any way politically tuned in and more worrying they get their info from the likes of the BBC.
I’m thinking that you are in a Welsh constituency Mature. For the majority of my voting life I was in such a safe Labour Welsh Seat. Most voters getting their info from a combo of bbc and the mirror.
No need to say any more.
However, I am now in a Welsh marginal, and I cant emphasise enough how nice it is to tell the MP how thin a line they are walking.
I would draw the line at saying a baboon would get elected in a safe seat, but a bloody sheep sure as hell could.
We know the answer. The left loathes the English working class. Always has done. Far too conservative and patriotic. The left is almost always a middle idle class led faction. Academics, writers, the usual non workers in any society. They need to feel themselves important. They have been a blight on the West since the French Revolution and have killed , by proxy, untold millions.
They are now dominant in this country and the West generally. New Labour is full of them. Cooper is a prime specimen .
To them the end always justifies the means. Hence they lie and they dissemble. The BBC is part of this way of looking at the world. This assault upon reality.
All we can do is wait and hope that reality will assert itself.
It always has done in the end.
Meanwhile we can take the wise words of Solzenitsyn to heart.
“Let the lie come into the world. But not through me”
Labour politicians are past masters of using all the benefits that our society can offer them, e.g. private education or the best specially selected state schools, privileged entry to the top universities (old boy network), on the distaff side benefiting from nepotism to get well paid positions etc. Once they achieve that they want to pull up the ladder to prevent other folk taking advantage of the same system.
Poll reported in todays times (yesterday now) bottom of page 12, on EU immigration. No surprise 64% of 2000 polled think it is a bad thing, only 14% thought it a good thing . – what was a surprise that even business leaders (whoever they are) thought it bad for UK 57% against 27% who think it positive
Polling repeatedly shows that the British public is overwhelmingly opposed to mass immigration ,even their own, the BBC must know this and, having admitted that they have got wrong on the reporting of immigration, know that we know they know. The weekly Question Time rally,is just another example of their contempt for the ‘great unwashed’, it is shameless triumphalism
The BBC has had a double hand in engineering the mass immigration of labour voters – the BBC world service is hardly ever discussed inside the U.K. it has been broadcasting to the World via shortwave radio in many different languages since the 1930’s . The result of 80 years of BBC World broadcasting has been to plant in the minds of people all round the globe that the U.K. was the place to go when home became undesirable.
Owen Jones was on Stephen Nolan’s 5Live show again last night (Sun) talking about the rise in the use of food banks and bringing into the conversation the ‘bedroom tax’ yet again.
There were various callers, one of which claimed he was on a salary of around £40,000 per year and had a ‘disposable’ income of £700 per month – yet he was still struggling to make ends meet! Eh? Really? I thought your disposable income was the money left over after you had paid for everything, including food?
But no one on the show challenged him about this.
However, there was a caller from north of Watford who talked some sense – he claimed that most people using food banks didn’t really need to use them and were spending their benefits unwisely. He was suggesting they were ‘greedy’ and just grabbing anything free they can get their hands on.
Perhaps he was being a tad over the top, but there was no chance for any proper debate on the possibility that at least some people might be taking advantage. Nolan pointed out to him that a lot (a lot? Maybe a few.) of people would be offended by what he had just said.
Yeah, because the truth hurts Stephen! Although, I actually believe Stephen Nolan likes to play devil’s advocate to stir up the panel.
So, of course, there was a spokeswomen (can’t remember her name or position) for food banks on the show too, who dismissed the northerner’s claims and insisted that each and every person who received goods from food banks are vetted before they are let in.
Vetted? We all know how effective government vetting is don’t we?
Going to bed just after midnight I made the mistake of turning the Radio on and Nolan and his guests were in full spate.
Someone called ‘The Bishop’ – I’m not sure if he is of the cloth, or not, as he was giving it the full , ‘Owen’s right on this…Owen’s right on that…Owen’s right on the other’ treatment.
Actually I’m not sure he was, but he might ask himself how those countries who have followed the economic and social model, so beloved of the BBCs favourite Trotskyite (Venezuela, North Korea, Zimbabwe), are doing now.
It beggars belief that apparently intelligent people cannot see the bigger picture and cannot understand that the creation of wealth is so important to all of us, including the disadvantaged that ‘The Bishop’ and the BBC constantly hold a magnifying glass up to, and on behalf of Miliband, try to co-opt us all in to their number.
The one thing that I did learn in the early hours of this morning is that Stephen Nolan is not conducive to a good night’s sleep.
I was listening at work until I finished my shift at midnight, so I missed the last hour.
I was working overtime. Now, there’s something kind of related to this. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people who refuse to work overtime, and yet they are always the same people who moan constantly about not being paid enough.
Double pay on a Sunday when there’s f**k all on telly? GIMME GIMME!!!
Owen Jones is not the slightest bit interested in any reality other than his own ideological narcissism. He is a professional Leftist. That he seems to be a permanent fixture on the BBC tells you a lot about about the BBC and absolutely nothing about Britain. His wisdom consists entirely in repeating Leftist mantras. It is not hard to imagine his family a few generations back raging against people who put their washing out on Sundays. His contribution to the world – zero.
The BBC producers think they need “A Young Voice”, and Jones fits the bill because he’s young, has a published book on his CV, and is capable of stringing a large number of words together in a row, mostly in the correct order for English syntax. He may talk absolute crap, but most of his ideology is shared by the majority of BBC staff, and so he can get away with whatever he likes.
If there was another, equally on-message and verbally excessive Young Voice, the BBC would have them on a lot as well.
I forgot the other key factor: Of The Populist Left. That’s actually the most important factor of all. Are there any Young Voices on the Right? Is there a new young William Hague sort of thing out there? I imagine the BBC has as difficult a time finding that as they do non-Left comedians.
Murray doesn’t meet the criteria, though, does he? He’s not posing as an activist, didn’t make his bones on a single hot-button (to the BBC) issue. Also, and perhaps more importantly, Jones got popular in his mid-twenties, whereas Murray is past the Logan’s Run sell-by date.
Owen Jones rose without trace after writing a book on the demonisation of the working classes. Yet he has frequently championed a party that has set about destroying the white working classes by mass immigration, & allowing Left-wing educationalists to ruin the prospects of millions of school children from the poorer end of society.
Given that kind of inability to see the irony, we can see why he fits in so well at the BBC, where the rarefied air is often 100% hallucinogenic, cultural Marxist dioxide.
And he’s got Evan Davis eyes.
Expect the use of food banks to be up this month, people have been getting their priorities right and picking up some Black Friday bargains at Asda …..
http://order-order.com/2013/12/02/patten-of-cover-ups-at-bbc/ ‘Lord Patten continues to claim the report was all above board despite two weeks ago being played a tape recording of Nick Pollard admitting his report is deeply flawed and that he made “a mistake”‘
BBC cover ups by a Tory?
Hmn. Be interesting who goes large on this one and who suddenly goes… oo.. look…squirrel!
Not perhaps the best timing 5 days before their future gets a review outside the in-camera, in-ternal bubble overseen by, well, golly… our Chris. ‘Stay tuned, there is more to come this week…
Maybe worth holding fire on the submissions ’til Thursday then?
(Have to love the calibre of knee jerk getting in with a… well nothing factual of course… already. Those 147 earning their keep to try to desperately feed the 8,000… 20,000).
The Marr show yesterday was a travesty. That nut actor from Downton Abbey given his chance to screen a propagandist, unscientific, untrue and miserablist Greenpeace video in the middle of a “what the papers say slot”. Quite frankly, Mr Marr, I’m sorry you have been ill and am glad to see you better but you seem to have a lot of influence at the Beeb and even you baulked at this event. Quite frankly,If you are going to invite unqualified and biased people like this to come on your show to give their questionable “sixth form-like” opinions then I demand my chance since I am far more informed than either of the numbskulls that you had on yesterday.
It looks like the BBC and other media outlets are determined to keep blaming the energy companies for price rises while turning a blind eye to all the Liebour imposed stealth taxes.
The Tories have remained true to type and done just what I predicted, attack the poor and let then take the heat. They have changed the definition of fuel poverty so fewer people if any will qualify for the government grants which will allegedly come out of taxation. (so no change there then)
The majority of stealth taxes however will remain in place adding a colossal 35% to the average bill.
They are: (and this is not a comprehensive list!)
Levies for:
Renewal and improvement of the national grid.
Feed in tariffs
Stealth spying smart meters
Warm home discount, given to the vulnerable
Carbon offset tax
And then to cap it all there’s VAT, in other words tax on the stealth tax!
Politicians have learned nothing what so ever from this episode. Millipede has continued to wear the blinkers and rose tinted glasses of socialism, refusing to see that stealth taxes push up bills at all, and Scameron has left all of the stealth taxes in place which benefit the wealthy while attacking the poor again!
The really frightening thing is that these idiots are so out of touch, not just with the people, but with reality itself, that they believe that utilities can be taxed in the same way as Petrol and diesel. An average utility bill of £10K pa seems perfectly reasonable to them.
You have to ask yourself what kind of nutters are representing us at Westminster, and why it is that our media (not just the BBC) aren’t screaming out the warnings?
The nutters in Westminster have surrounded themselves with activists, renewable-shills, green gravy-train riders, and placemen who assure them black is white: DECC, FoE, Greenpeace, Time Yeo, Davies and Milliband – Mr Climate Change Act, Lord Stern, SIR Paul Nurse, the evil lot are locked in.
Listening to a 5 Live news bulletin last night, the announcer said something along the lines of ‘it is thought that Labour will accuse the government of using smoke and mirrors’. Why so coy with the ‘it is thought that?’. They obviously had Labour’s briefing note last night because, sure enough, Milliband says in a speech today
“That’s what we need to see in the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement this week. Not smoke and mirrors on electricity and gas bills or cosy deals with the Big Six that mean bills still rise this winter, but a real price freeze and action to reset the market to stop them overcharging again in the future.”
Could have been wor… even more po-faced.
They could have tried ‘The BBC has learned’ or, always a hoot, ‘a BBC investigation has uncovered..’.
Both code for, as you say, the duty sub picking up the press release from Labour Central.
Getting to the point of DQF (Dross Queuing Forever) where they may as well just set up a mic over there and let Ed practice his new, surgically-enhanced Alvar Lidell timbre (which every will know is a plant as these days if it isn’t some barely comprehensible accent it could not be the BBC) pretending to be an announcer.
Actually, thinking it about it, it may be the new weasel after they (Pesto & Toenails?) got truly hosed credibility-wise for doing exactly the #prasnews run and Labour’s finest then veering off script as it wasn’t going to fly.
Hence the BBC was left promoting a Labour policy punt even Labour couldn’t stand behind.
Unique as always.
This morning on radio five a reporter said, almost in passing, “the government has performed so many U-turns recently its beginning to look like they are clutching at straws”. This was either the reporters opinion – which should not have been given air time, or more likely a line fed to them by Labour which they willingly regurgitated.
Apparently Alistair Campbell is back working at the heart of labour in the run-up to the next election. So much of the recent Labour tactics reminds me of his seedy techniques during the Blair years . And as far as the BBC is concerned, Campbell says jump , the BBC says “how high?”.
Come to think about it’ I can’t understand why the Conservatives aren’t attacking labour over their re-employing of Campbell. Labour attack the Conservatives for spin doctors, but no one has a worse record Campbell with the blood of thousands on his
The Conservatives should insist that Blair and Campbell are thrown out of the Labour Party. Especially Campbell, because despite his ghastliness he is an extremely effective political campaigner. The Tories should do everything possible to undermine him. But I don’tthink they’ have the killer instinct.
So when it’s the evil Tories, they’re accused of malfeasance and U-turns, but when it was Labour it was just something accidentally left in the PBR paper that nobody was meant to see and didn’t really mean.
TWATO shilling for a new political party called ‘left unity’ and bemoaning how hard it is for a small party to make it against the big parties.
The name ‘Left Unity’ is said over & over to drive it home. http://leftunity.org/
Of course if this was a new right of centre party the Biased bunch would never have mentioned it.
if it was a new right of centre party then the bbc would be horrified and be asking what can be done to stop the rise of the far right, which their racism, bigotry, islamophobia, xenophobia etc
I saw Ken Loach, small time Lefty film director, and a noise in the movement being interviewed. When I saw him I thought Michael Foot has been dragged back from the dead. For those much younger than me, Michael Foot was a Socialist and leader of the Labour party way back. He was a disaster and a laughing stock.
It’s got Len McCluskey’s fingerprints all over it. I checked the site and lo and behold, ‘advisors’ to Mr McCluskey in the forefront. Must be his Plan B if Milliwit f***s up the G.E. in 2015.
Like the normal vicious cowardly mugging, but with the word honour applied, that makes acts of violence sound so much easier to report upon. Or, simply ignore.
Apparently.
Also, as it appears they’d been drinking, there’s a get out of anything free right there, if you are not used to it or something.
Plus a few other criteria.
But if the woman had complained about immigration, as did Emma West, she would have massive coverage, followed by two years of psychiatric reports, and a BBC inspired frenzy about a racist white woman on a bus.
The usual rubbish will be trotted out- wrong place at the wrong time- This type of attitude is an insult to this man’s family.
He was a law abiding citizen. Killed by merciless scum.
Yet, the BBC prattle on with their top story of a Helicopter crash. Terrible though it was, the coverage has all but pushed out other news items. BBC News is really poor and almost totally unwatchable. Poor content, bias views, you all know the rest.
BBC-NUJ, Kearney, and BBC political propaganda today on ‘Radio 4 ‘World at One’:-
Item 1:-
-A vox pops ‘interview’ with someone/anyone who was moaning about his energy bills. Kearney did not challenge him politically. This was followed by an interrupting superficial interview by sing-song voice Kearney with Government rep on ‘green’ (i.e. high-cost) taxes, and energy prices, with the non-economist Kearney apparently pleading for both green taxes and low energy prices!
Item 2:-
The second most important news item for BBC-NUJ, Kearney and the entire Beeboid world is, apparently, the private life of a swimmer.
At this point, I must have re-gained my presence of mind, because I switched off BBC Radio 4.
There was a discussusion on Radio 4 this morning about the fact that not many people since the birth of the royal baby George had given their babies that name. Instead apparently they prefer to name their babies after characters in popular TV programmes eg Homeland, etc They mentioned the name Skylar and John Humpries commented “will they have to explain that name in the future?”. To which Sara Montegu responded and for once ironically she may have got it right !!!”will they have to explain the name John in the future ?”
An accusation frequently levelled against this site is that it’s obsessed with Muslims. But just who is doing the obsessing?
As I write, the BBC News front page has, prominently:
“Born different
Marvel’s female Muslim superhero fights villains and stereotypes”
Am I the only one who couldn’t give a Castlemaine XXXX what religion Batman, Superman and even Mr Incredible are? I never even considered it. In a world of fantasy I see no need to add another layer of fantasy.
But, of course, add a buzz word and you have the BBC’s rapt attention.
Get the lass diversely gendered as well and she could dive off (see what I may have accidently done there?) tall buildings with a single bound, straight into the toppiest of market rate top floors, at least Salford way.
Even Dr. Who, Sherlock & Strictly couldn’t knock her off that perch in the schedules ’til way after Winterval is over.
I do apologise, but in checking this out I stumbled across something that may have had my sense of the ridiculous almost overcome my innate desire not to give the High Dudgeon Staffel of the Flokker station any reason to swoop.
I merely share, if perhaps also struggling to wipe back the odd tear as I bite my lip… http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25114565 ‘a niqab-wearing mutant who could transform herself into a cloud of dust’
‘Arabian Knights is an animated segment of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour, created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The series is based on Arabian Nights, a classic work of Middle Eastern literature.’
‘Set among the fantasy-set lands that surround the high city of Baghdad, the show follows the adventures of a group of extraordinary people, who have banded together to fight against a corrupt ruler of Baghdad.’
‘Princess Nida (voiced by Shari Lewis): A lovely teenaged girl, cousin to Turhan and daughter of the Caliph; she is far from your typical ‘damsel-in-distress’ (though she can be and is captured often during the series). She can fight, but her real talent comes from her ability to disguise herself and alter her voice to mimic others.’
The writer is a typical convert. They just cannot be a humble Muslin, they’ve got to be a a Super-Muslim.
And her character in not wearing a Hijab. What self respecting Female Muslim superhero would venture into the world of men without her trusty head scarf. Its like Batman without his Utility Belt.
yeah they got to put the green propaganda on the back burner while high fuel prices are major news. They have to try their best to keep the 2 issues separate, otherwise sheeple might cotton on
In reporting the outcome of the referendum in Croatia, the BBC report that Croatians have “backed proposals to ban same-sex marriages”. How can you ban something that doesn’t exist? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-25172778
the beeboids on the news last night were gutted to say the least. Their solution was that people just need to be educated.
Sorry beeboids, when people actually get to vote on matters that you hold dear to your hearts, they usually dont agree with your views. Its not homophobic to consider buggery disgusting
It is the fact that BBC takes every opportunity to PROMOTE homosexuality and it is this that is disgusting and is unacceptable in a publically funded organisation.
“In Croatia, the Twitter profile is clearly more liberal, at least on same-sex marriage, than the real-life picture. Twitter users in Croatia tend to be more educated and live in cities and towns, according to analysts.”
The usual liberal garbage. Only the uneducated, the mad and the very bad have conservative views.
Twitter of course gets it right. Not the nasty voters.
The liberal has become unable to understand the concept of real argument and the right to hold differing views.
In that liberalism has much in common with a cult.
Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has rejected protesters’ demands that she step down, amid fresh clashes in Bangkok….
Yup, first leading question most other country’s national broadcasters would come out with too on the basis of the demands of a bit of kicking off Anger & Protests (down Mason), I don’t doubt.
‘The BBC’s Jonah Fisher: “There’s a nastier feel to things today…we’ve seen some pretty horrible things”
[Vid content not working]
Is the BBC actively promoting regime change via propaganda for some protestors?… now who would have thought they’d try such a thing in their ‘reporting’? ‘The protesters want to replace the government with an unelected “People’s Council”‘
No analysis necessary to posit this may be less than democratic in nature? Are you in Thailand? Have you been protesting in Bangkok? Please tell us your experiences using the form below.
Meanwhile the BBC punts out a ‘question’ that the PM handling a riot should step down. Nicely balanced there, guys.
“Her government, which has broad support outside the capital, took office after winning elections in 2011. But the protesters…. accuse the current administration of using populist policies that are hurting Thailand’s economy”
So it’s all the bloody Tories’ fault. Still, at least the Thai government has taken a break from persecution moslem terrorists 😉
The bBBC ‘news’ has – just temporarily, I’m sure – dragged itself away from obsessing about the sexual choices of ‘celebrities’ to give maximum publicity to Labour’s call for us to give even more money to Scotland ‘to support the victims of the Glasgow helicopter/ pub crash’. £145.50 per person would be a good start.
They spent the whole fucking weekend “Live” from outside some Pub in Glasgow , wheeling on every now & some SNP or Labourite nounce ! Oh by the way once they (hopefully) get independence , they only collect enough LF, to fund an economy lite version of BBC 1 . Radio Scotland & any Gaelic stuff is funded by , you guessed it ,The English !
The trial of the ‘alleged’ killers of Lee Rigby is being covered but not, so it seems, by the state owned BBC.
So one of them had a Koran in his pocket whilst disembowelling and attempting to behead a British soldier on the streets of London. Hey Dave – it was to do with Islam.
if you look at the bbc news front page now, the main headline is “No mayday call from crash helicopter”, lots of videos and links to the same story
Below that is “other top stories” which are full of pics and links, and you can even comment on them “Fuel bill cuts to follow new policy” , “UN implicates Assad in war crimes”, “Man admits murdering teenage girl”, “Cameron urges China ‘breakthroughs'”, and then with the rest of the news, 6 words “Man pleaded ‘do not kill’ Rigby”
absolutely disgusting coverage of the this murder trial by the BBC. They’re appear to be more interested in limiting the damage to muslims than reporting the facts.
In fact, beeboids apear to be more interested in ‘a niqab-wearing mutant who [can] transform herself into a cloud of dust’
The Queen should declare the BBC a traitorous organisation in her Christmas speech, label beeboids outlaws, then wish us all good hunting
The albeeba managed to make it their lead item on the 6 pm news on Friday, which did surprise me somewhat, and pushed me to recant some comments I had made on facebook about a lack of coverage.
However your premise is correct, they will attempt to do all in their power to sanitise the gory details and totally ignore any link to Islam as all lefties are wont to do.
Lying and obfuscation is the trademark of the left. It’s mot that they arein denial, they see what is happening, and recognise it, but just dont want the plebs to know as well.
You know that IRS scandal where they deliberately targeted Tea Party and other Right-of-center organizations in order to keep them from action before the 2012 election? You know, that scandal the BBC claimed was phony until the President admitted there was a problem but, having thus spake, had been instantly solved on His word, and the BBC has since censored all news of it? (Mardell dutifully explained that He didn’t know, and not telling the boss bad things is normal, nothing to see here, move along.)
Well, even though the IRS has done a BBC (shifted a couple of the guilty mandarins sideways or have them retire on full pension, but changing nothing fundamentally), the problem is still going strong. The BBC will not tell you about this:
One of the ObamaCare critics getting audited is a cancer patient who lost his coverage thanks to ObamaCare rules messing up his insurance company’s procedures.
Yeah, it’s Breitbart, but defenders of the indefensible will need to put aside the reflexive Alinsky tactic and address the facts presented this time. Either these letters as fake as those Bush National Guard memos the executive producer of BBC World News America felt were solid story material, or they’re real, and it’s still a very real scandal which the BBC is refusing to acknowledge. The BBC journalists and editors who know about this probably think it’s a fake story ginned up by racists who want Him to fail, but that’s their own blindness again, as it was with Benghazi, the IRS scandal, and the problems with ObamaCare.
Today programme this morning (8.35 a.m.) had a ‘news’ item about the UK trade delegation to China. Sarah Montague’s first question was ‘what about human rights?’. As was her second question. And her third. … Click.
But isn’t that the same China which according to the bBC is a champion for green energy. I take it their human rights record doesn’t count then, Just as it doesn’t when it bullies the neighbours, sends a rocket to the Moon or even builds a car factory in the UK.
Ok help me me here regards is this News worthy of the State Broadcaster: Tom Daley in relationship with man Olympic diver Tom Daley has revealed he is in a relationship with a man.
I am sorry but does the above warrent as News? And is anybodies sex life any of my business. If he’s gay, he’s gay. I mean does the bBC publish the fact when Joe Bloggs starts dating a girl? But apparently when its a bloke, well , knock me down with a feather and bugger me sideways, its Christmas. The irony here, is the wankers at the bBC who just love to tell you about their latest gay dick throb are always the ones who berate the Sun and DM for their sex stories.
Could be worse: look at the ‘news’ websites of the Guardian and the Independent, where it is the top ‘story’. All the lefties are obsessed with homosexuality.
The Telegraph (which is rapidly morphing into the Guardian) has a great quote from British Swimming’s chief exec David Sparkes – after declaring their wholehearted support of Tom, natch.
“It’s a very private matter………”
Well not anymore it’s fucking not Davey Boy!!!!!
Have seen Daley’s act described as “brave” in many quarters.
Wonder how the lads in Helmand feel about the use of that adjective?
im quite sure the lads in Helmand consider Tom Daley very brave and would rather charge at a Taliban machine gun nest with bayonets fixed than take it up the arse
I have no interest in sport, the Olympics past me by. I have no interest in celebrity. I’m vaguely aware that there is a programme called X-Factor, or something like that, but have never watched it. I don’t read Hello! magazine, (is it still published?), the Daily Mail or Mirror. I don’t know ‘who’ is doing ‘what’ to ‘whom’ and don’t really care, not least because I don’t even know ‘who’ is ‘whom’.
However despite that I do seem to know more about the sexual preferences of our Olympic Diver that our MSM and the BBC, who seem to think that this is ‘News’.
Even the boy himself is given a major part of PM (aprox 50mins. in) to tell us ‘it is no big deal’.
Agenda, what agenda?
Does seem odd to have garnered quite such interest from our national broadcaster and a few fellow travellers, who can be quite eye-rollingly sniffy when the tabs go ballistic about a sports icon stepping out with a new beau; which seems about all this is.
Must be another one of those animalfarmian equality things on what ‘makes’ a story, that only certain newsrooms can rationalise.
Still, good luck to the lad. He will go far, one is sure, Maybe even with that diving thing.
It’s a non-story. If we were still living in a country where homosexuality was illegal then perhaps such a story could be a “wake-up” call. However, it is now normal. It has been normalised for years and recently gay marriages were normalised.
The only reason I’m quoting the Mail here and not some other source is because of this bit:
Only six years ago, the BBC reported that the Arctic would be ice-free in summer by 2013, citing a scientist in the US who claimed this was a ‘conservative’ forecast. Perhaps it was their confidence that led more than 20 yachts to try to sail the Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific this summer. As of last week, all these vessels were stuck in the ice, some at the eastern end of the passage in Prince Regent Inlet, others further west at Cape Bathurst.
Shipping experts said the only way these vessels were likely to be freed was by the icebreakers of the Canadian coastguard. According to the official Canadian government website, the Northwest Passage has remained ice-bound and impassable all summer.
The BBC’s 2007 report quoted scientist Professor Wieslaw Maslowski, who based his views on super-computer models and the fact that ‘we use a high-resolution regional model for the Arctic Ocean and sea ice’.
He was confident his results were ‘much more realistic’ than other projections, which ‘underestimate the amount of heat delivered to the sea ice’. Also quoted was Cambridge University expert
Professor Peter Wadhams. He backed Professor Maslowski, saying his model was ‘more efficient’ than others because it ‘takes account of processes that happen internally in the ice’.
He added: ‘This is not a cycle; not just a fluctuation. In the end, it will all just melt away quite suddenly.’
I’m sure that as soon as Roger Harrabin consults with his thought leaders (i.e. the same climate science experts whose failed and fraudulent models predicted this ice-free Arctic), the BBC will be all over the story.
He’ll keep modifying that and his followers will describe the previous claims as being just one iteration towards the truth (because their critics will always remind them of the mistake).
Anybody else get the feeling that the bBC is on a mission to make everybody feel guilty at complaining about how all these people who are going to come to the country are actually going to benefit us all? According to the bBC only the (White) British can be racist.
Mark Eastons recently at it too. Must have been a memo sent round. Blatant political campaigning by the BBC.
Small comfort from the comments – all anti, and increasingly anti BBC.
It’s the police’s fault for not handling the “tensions” properly? No blame on the government who created the situation? Is Easton serious? And Boston is an “exceptional” case, is it? John Cleese must be a swivel-eyed racist for saying what he said about London, then. And I’m sure people here can think of other examples disproving Easton’s claim.
Nevertheless, the message from the town is that people must prepare for new arrivals, monitor their impact if they do come, and look for ways to deal with the unease that goes with rapid cultural change.
Yes, that’s right, the onus is on local taxpayers to fund preparations, cultural cohesion monitoring and ways to cope with rapid cultural change.
ember: Indeed. We Brits are expected to pay more tax to repair the damage/ keep the lid on tensions caused by mass immigration we never wanted. At the same time we see wages undermined and houses school places in ever shorter supply. And the BBC just tells us to lump it and cough-up.
Sorry bodo – your wrong – the BBC doesn’t tell us to “lump it” – it useses every opportunity to instruct us to actively CELEBRATE the change and recognise how much better off economically, socially and culturally we are with evey wave of mass immigration.
Radio 5 presenters, Victoria Derbyshire, Dominic Laurie, Richard Bacon all said ” Who cares, what does it matter, it’s irrelevant that Tom Daley is gay !! ” and then they proceed to talk about it for the next 6 hours ! They got out of it by saying ” A lot of people are talking about it on Twitter, so we have to cover it !!”
Hmm, strange that, a lot of people talk about mass immigration on the internet too, but the BBC hardly ever covers the subject.
INBBC spreads comic propaganda for the lie that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’.
Two reports on Marvel Comics:-
1.) ‘Jihad Watch’ – of a month ago:-
“Marvel Comics introduces Muslim girl superhero”
[Opening excerpt]:-
“When is Marvel going to introduce their Christian, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist superheroes? They are only introducing this Muslim superhero because of the hugely successful post-9/11 campaign by Islamic supremacists and their Leftist allies to portray Muslims as victims of ‘Islamophobia’ and ‘hatred’ — when actually the incidence of attacks on innocent Muslims is very low (not that a single one is acceptable or justified), and the entire ‘Islamophobia’ campaign is an attempt to intimidate people into thinking that there is something wrong with fighting against jihad terror and Islamic supremacism.
“Will Kamala Khan fight against jihadis? Will Marvel be introducing a counter-jihad superhero? I expect that the answer is no on both counts.”
I’d love to see a Hindu goddess superhero sticking it to the jihadis. She would have the added advantage of a lot more arms and a very fierce countenance!
Regards the over the top promotion of Tom Daley coming out of the swimming pool stalls by the bBC. Could this have something to do with how so many bBC staff have been found guilty of Male rape.
BBC (£145 pa) tells us
Fuel bill cuts to follow new policy
Jo Nova (£00.00) tells us
“UK to buy £50m of UN carbon credits to help poor countries
The British government said it would buy 50 million pounds ($80.7 million) of U.N. carbon credits and cancel them as a way to help fund development and curb greenhouse gas emissions in poor countries.
The government’s Carbon Market Finance initiative will buy and cancel Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), which are issued to projects in emerging markets that generate energy from biogas, solar panels and small hydropower units.
The projects would be registered under the U.N.’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), which has channelled more than $315 billion to carbon-cutting projects in developing countries by allowing investors to earn credits that they can sell for use in helping meet emission targets abroad.
Investment under the scheme has dried up as nations wrangle over setting new emission reduction goals under a global U.N. deal. Prices of the credits have crashed to less than 50 cents from over 20 euros five years ago, making many projects unprofitable.”
Thank you Jo, and screw you BBC. And screw you, Cameron.
If ever I would support a terrorist attack on the country it would be against the idiots on the left who have sold us out. Boy would I utter ‘Allah ackba’ on the news that so many human rights lawyers ,Eco warriors and their ilk suffered a very painful death.
There must be a script writer out there who reads this site that can produce a sketch of the BBC. In the same style of The Day Today and Drop The Dead Donkey it must be time to hand Sky TV with a pilot of a fictional state broadcaster. All the material is here on these threads and the comedy will be the lampooning of the BBC .
I see the bBC is in half a story mode over the Islamic terrorist attack in Nigeria. Now here is what the bBCs reporter in the region has to say: Will Ross BBC News, Lagos
Once again there is a startling discrepancy between the official version and eyewitness accounts of these pre-dawn attacks on Maiduguri….How is it that significant numbers of well-armed Boko Haram militants are still driving around Borno State causing havoc?
Fair enough question? Here is how AP report the very same thing: It was unclear how such a large convoy could move undetected at night in an area under curfew, though the insurgents have seized many military vehicles and arms at the scenes of other attacks and witnesses have said they sometimes wear the same military fatigues as the Nigerian army.
You’d think the bBC could have reported that salent fact, but oh no, to them there is only one God god and his name is Allah.
Just watched HIGNFY on iPlayer.
It is interesting to speculate what it is that sucks any possibility of genuine humour from the show, but frankly none of them, even Hislop or Merton, was going to save this one. And neither of them even tried.
May have to go back to the old Newsnight slipway for laughs at this rate.
Guest who……….I thought I was alone in my view……….HIGNFY has over the last couple of seasons just become a mouthpiece for left wing propaganda. It used to be a genuinely funny programme (one of the few that I would actually spend half an hour of my life watching) but it is becoming nothing more than an anti anything that is slightly right of the far left……They even use the funny pictures at the beginning and end to make political comment…………….
Kill the bbbc they are corruptive and lacking in any moral standard…..KWark, that awful creature from newsnight. Her recent opening gambit to an interviewee on their ocd commenting about homosexuality ‘ Surely, homosexuality is normal’……
So, am I abnormal?
In the last two or three series the quality of guest on HIGNFY has fallen through the floor. I’m a simple man (patently) so one guest I loathe (Richard Bacon, or that Canadian hobbledehoy “comic” with the beard) and I just turn over. It’s what Billy Connolly memorably referred to as the “Shit. Click.” factor. “Richard Bacon? Shit.”
Similarly, QI decided, and admitted as much, to have far more women on the show. The result was a shocking, immediate, precipitous decrease in quality. The show has yet to recover from that disaterous decision to Toksvigise.
Billy Connolly is a real nasty piece of work, but tries to hide it under a mask of ”likeability.” Celebrities have got the media image that they present to the world and then there’s the reality, like Savile, although Connolly is not a child molester.
The mask slipped when at one of his stage shows he said ” When are they going to hurry up and behead British hostage Ken Bigely, I’m bored with him on the news every night,” the next day the muslim terrorists beheaded him. Connolly fled the country ( ran away like a child ) when confronted by the press at the airport, he said ” F**K off.” That’s the real ”charming” Billy Connolly.
Another week goes by and all to soon it is time for *I’m sorry I haven’t a clue* on Radio 4. The third show in and I’m all ears listening for the political posturing from the BBC. Tonight I had to wait a long time and I was beginning to think I was going to be disappointed, but no, there it was, a one liner. “What would the E.U. be like without France in it?” Answer: “World war Two” Trouble was, it was too subtle, even the audience didn’t know whether to laugh at this one, it was mooted. But, we all know what the BBC thinks of the E.U. now don’t we?
I really like ‘clue’ but being beeb comedy there is insidious leftism within, which is a shame. This week we had a round where one of the teams had to pretend to be daily mail readers, spouting outrageous (to bbc) opinions for everyone to laugh at. Fair enough in isolation but can anybody ever remember any sketch, quiz round or standup joke where the butt of the humour was the Guardian and its readers? Anybody?
Opening this up to the board,, I wonder how this will all turn out: A BBC bureau for Burma This weekend I received news I never thought I’d hear. The Myanmar Ministry of Information announced that the BBC, along with three other international news agencies, had been given official permission to open a news bureau in Burma, also known as Myanmar…..The BBC’s charity Media Action has been working to train the next generation of Burmese journalists, including those at the state-run broadcaster, offering not only technical training, but, crucially, editorial training in the BBC values of independent reporting.
I just wonder what the bBC will impart:
1) Islam good, everybody else bad.
2) Gay sex good, heterosexual bad.
3) Raping little girls good, sex with older woman bad.
4) Civilized society Bad, Anarchy good.
5) British Empire bad, Everybody else good. (Except American)
6) Gay sex with little boys gooooooooood, sex with women bad. (unless you are a women who wears comfortable shoes)
7) Police bad, Terrorists good.
I really wish we made closets with no doors so that gay people didn’t feel the need to swing the doors open and suddenly make a song and dance about their homosexuality (cue bright lights, pink boas and spandex pants).
Still a lot of news about some diver admitting to being someones bitch , but no mention about a young woman being beaten unconscious on the back of a bus by a gang of misguided Afro caribbean ‘yootz ‘
The BBC certainly know how to prioritise the news.
How the bBC reports on the Chinese invasion and subsequent occupation of Tibet over 63 years ago: Tibetan immolations: Desperation as world looks away
So the bBC gets round to how the Tibetans are protesting about the occupation of their country by a foreign country in this case…China. But hang on nowhere in the article does it mention that fact instead we have : Since Chinese troops asserted control over Tibet more than half a century ago, and the Dalai Lama fled into exile, the number of monasteries has fallen precipitously.
And: China has been tightening its hold, not just on the monasteries, but all aspects of Tibetan life and culture.
And: So Tibetans have been resorting to extreme protests, setting themselves on fire. More than 120 are thought to have done so in the past three years in protest at Chinese rule in their homeland.
And: China launched a military assault in 1950
And: Opposition to Chinese rule led to a bloody uprising in 1959
So the bBC which prides itself on its freedom of speech mantra which allows it to ask the most cutting to the bone questions when the target is:America, Britain or Israel. Doesn’t point out that actually Tibet was invaded by China , that to this day it is still occupied and that the bBC is guilty of turning a blind eye, unlike its reporting from:
Israel, Great Britain, America,India where those select few are guilty of crimes against humanity. Yet when the guilty subscribe to the bBC’s ideological bent then they can only be righteous and innocent.
On “news where you are” in London at 10:30 tonight, the BBC kept up the pressure on the coalition in the Labour interest as a (BBC described) “independent” think tank, the Centre for London asserted massive avoidance of minimum wage legislation. Of course, describing Centre for London as “independent” is an out and out lie: it is an offshoot of Demos – a left-wing outfit if ever there was one, as shown here. The BBC then dragged one victim (who, tellingly, could not speak English) in front of the cameras to wave her shroud. This, by the way, followed a previous item where the hideous injuries of a cyclist were, basically, blamed on Boris and his cycling czar Andrew Gilligan. The campaign at the BBC to get rid of Boris (which started on the day he became mayor) never ends.
“hands off our panto dames – cross dressing is subversive and funny”? (“panto” Nikki?)
yep! just ask our “burkha” escapee terrorist?
definitely subversive? I tell ya – laugh! 🙁 …
I thought I d never start.
hmmm interesting cover
“Mary Poppins having a … wait for it … fag!”
and some old dude, wearing a jumper probably last seen on J Saviles, or D.L Travis s, or Stuart Halls Christmas show.
…. Tom Daley? … who gives a sh*t?, maybe if he
protested outside the London mosque, it might raise an eyebrow … otherwise he could swim all the way back to fairyland for me … i.e. not interested.
Are they not putting out a “come on” to the sexually confused in our schools and staffrooms pounce?
After all this Student Rag Yearbook is on the desks of more teachers than any other state surfers who get the day to read this stuff(that`s what the Speshull Needz Departments are still kept for in the Potemkin Piazzas (you poor mugs think they`re schools!…more ful U!).

And in answer to my own question…yes I would!…but I need to be offered one first.
(Dedicated to the cryptic kickers out there…OldBloke …hello!)
How the left ruin everything they touch: Blood donation vCJD fears prompt inquiry An independent inquiry is being launched to check the safety of donor blood amid fears of infection from the human form of “mad cow disease”.The Commons Science and Technology Committee called for the inquiry after studies revealed one in every 2,000 Britons could be carrying variant CJD.…To limit the transmission risk from blood, organs and tissues, NHS Blood and Transplant excludes donors whom it deems to be at higher risk of infection, such as those who themselves have had a blood transfusion.
Yet and a big yet, gay men (And their fan base) bitched something rotten about not being allowed the right to give blood. Err sorry to point this out, but the homosexual male penchant for anal sex actually leads to an increased risk of HIV. Now why the hell should we allow a very high risk group to give blood, simply becasue they feel discriminated against.
Its all about human rights, I just hope to Allah that a load of people contract HIV from donated blood, wait hang on: Former minister raises fear of HIV blood cover-up New concerns are raised today that government officials attempted to cover up evidence that they could have stopped thousands of people becoming infected with HIV from contaminated blood supplies. Lord Owen, who was a Labour health minister in the 1970s, says he has unearthed the first concrete proof that officials knew more than 30 years ago that there was an increased risk of contracting hepatitis from imported blood products. More than 1,700 people went on to die and many are terminally ill after contracting hepatitis C and then HIV from infected blood during treatment for haemophilia in the 1970s and 80s.
It appears we have been here before. Funny how the Tom Daley obsessed bBC forgets to mention that snippet.
Presumably, when they ran the study of those who had their appendix out, they did an epidemiological study to see if there were any other common factors between the ‘infected’?
1 in 2000 works out as roughly 30,000 people in the UK infected. Considering there were supposed to be millions dead by know from this peculiarly useful disease one has to wonder if the test really works. Also, considering that they had to force feed rats almost pure prion protiens to get cases of NvCJD it also seems unlikely that people can ‘catch’ it from blood infusions – perhaps they already had it before?
The whole thing stinks of bad science and political interference. Just for a change.
And that brings us back to a recent notice by Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer for England September (2013) to the public that any NHS doctors that have become infected will continue to serve in the NHS (avoiding any such discrimination of an HIV infection, as long as they take NHS treatment). The trouble with that statement is that Doctors or patients are unlikely to realise that either is infected, until it is far too late, by then it has spread to another innocent patient. Over 40% of so called ‘lifestyle’ patients are unaware of any infection (and do not care either if to pass it on).
Sally Davies Chief Medical Officer announced (2013), ‘…the public will have more chance of being struck by lightning than being infected with HIV by a health worker. The public will be struck by lightening (whilst undergoing surgical procedures that had previous ‘minimal risk’ before). *Lightening is a global phenomena (where an estimated 10,000 lightening strikes occur every second around the globe). Just because the minister of Health quotes the current UK HIV infection rates (being low) is not reflected in USA (rising) and Africa (Rising) across the Globe even with free medication. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/…/Ban-on-doctors-with-HIV-lifted.html
A good illustration of what could go wrong here is the tragic case of ‘Typhoid Mary’ (of 1900s) that managed to innocently infect those around her for a number of years until identified as the carrier in the USA. (The difference is that she had no knowledge that she was the carrier). http://history1900s.about.com/od/1900s/a/typhoidmary.htm
Now that HIV carriers have both immunity from any prosecution and a secure job in the NHS (confirmed Sally Davis) as well as the BBC, we will have more of the example below which (will (in the UK) never be reported from now on (except through alarming National Office of Statistics).
I have worked in the NHS for the past 10 years. I have been tested for HIV / Hep B / Hep C (sometimes without my consent) on at least a biannual basis. OK I work in a high risk specialty, but ….
did you cop stephen nolans interview on radio 5 live on sunday just gone at 11.30 pm with the former boxer joe bugner, boy that was brutal, funny when stephen nolan lets mohammed shafigue and gerry hayes insult ukip politicians with all kinds of name calling and insults he never intervenes to bring them to book, but stephen nolan was left stunned by joes bugners insults towards himself and fellow bbc presenters.what stephen could not handle is when joe bugner told him you have acheived nothing in your life,go listen on iplayer to nolans responce on that, nolan was brought down to earth by bugner,it was radio gold at its best.
Graham satchell on bbc breakfast, ” here in a Romanian supermarket” in..err…London
Interviews a romanian, a G P
” i am sorry we take the England jobs, but it is good for England and the English economy.”
He even manages to find some to talk against more immigration, all immigrants themselves of course.
Your chosen subject….
Questions about the political leanings of BBC presenters….
…and now your starter for ten – no conferring…. from the following evidence tell me:
a) which region of England is it that the BBC are most desperate not to offend, and
b) which British Prime Minister is it ok to call a liar… here come the clues….
BBC2 8 o’clock last night University Challenge – Jeremy Paxman shows a Cambridge team pictures of four English art galleries which they must identify for the points on offer. The team are confused and refer to one of the photos as being ‘….somewhere up north…’ Paxman – the quizmaster – most anxious to champion everything beyond Watford, leaps in to ridicule their lack of knowledge. But he doesn’t let it rest there – each of the following three times the team try to answer for the other pictures he again lampoons them repeating the phrase ‘somehwere up north’ in a mocking manner.
BBC4 8.30pm last night Only Connect – Victoria Coren Mitchell shows a set of football shirts with the names of recent Prime Ministers. The sequence is Major, Blair, Brown with the coloured shirts of the teams they supported is, of course, completed by Cameron. Only one of the four men is mocked by Coren as obviously faking his supposed allegiance to a football team – and the answer is naturally David Cameron.
Quick hints for easy points in quiz games:
Answer all difficult sounding maths questions with One – you will be correct 50% of the time.
Answer all questions about seventeenth century architecture questions with Christopher Wren – and if he has already been mentioned say Inigo Jones
Assume all BBC presenters support Labour and hate the Tories.
Assume all BBC presenters suffer a bad case of liberal guilt and walk on egg shells whilst bending over backwards so as not to offend all things northern.
I doubt the gun icon used will reproduce here, so fingers crossed on what does appear but here’s a comment from the FaceBook page in complement to the BBC’s ‘Our Man In Bangkok’ latest ‘report’ on a bunch of rioters trying to take down the government, which can always benefit from a bit of a boost from a global media monopoly:

Newsnight is dead. It just hasn’t realised yet.

One of the main news items on her Five Live show today is the apparently stunning revelation that Tony Daley is an homosexual.
How will the nation come to terms with this entirely unforeseen development?
In other news: Sun rises.

What would be amusing if Tom Daley, instead of coming out as gay but came out as a UKIP voter, do you think he would get a fair press ?

It really shouldn’t matter what Tom’s sexual orientation is – but that it makes the 1pm news (WATO) is the problem. The State broadcaster is so obsessed with ensuring equality for gays and women that it cannot properly evaluate the news.

I think the state broadcaster is obsessed with sexual gratification full stop. A recurring theme for the liberal inquisition in general

Haha the odd thing is Ms. Wark has never done anything (or anything memorable AFAIK) for Children in Need so this appearance came as a surprise.
Just thank yourselves that the BBC didn’t waste money creating computer generated effects of Ms. Wark transforming into a werewolf.

‘The tabloids may have led the charge but those from which I would hope for better – ie the Guardian and BBC – did their bit to add to the hype and sensationalism in my opinion, while ostensibly maintaining a somewhat loftier position.’
The Left do love their BBC – however they would like to see it ever more carefully censored.
I was amused by the George Orwell quote which Ciara proudly puts on her blog….
“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations”
Yep, the Left have never done irony.

Item 2:-

I’m sure there’s no agenda, it’s just something everyone’s interested in. At the BBC anyway.
The Croatians ‘ashamed’ of same-sex marriage ban
“In Croatia, the Twitter profile is clearly more liberal, at least on same-sex marriage, than the real-life picture. Twitter users in Croatia tend to be more educated and live in cities and towns, according to analysts.”
No comment is necessary.

‘The protesters want to replace the government with an unelected “People’s Council”‘
No analysis necessary to posit this may be less than democratic in nature?

absolutely disgusting coverage of the this murder trial by the BBC. They’re appear to be more interested in limiting the damage to muslims than reporting the facts.

‘Political Witch Hunt’: ObamaCare Critics Got Their Audit Letters On The Same Day
One of the ObamaCare critics getting audited is a cancer patient who lost his coverage thanks to ObamaCare rules messing up his insurance company’s procedures.

So many Science/Environment stories for the BBC to cover, there’s no room for this:
And now it’s global COOLING! Return of Arctic ice cap as it grows by 29% in a year
The only reason I’m quoting the Mail here and not some other source is because of this bit:
Richard Black, in 2011, reports Professor Maslowski as giving 2016, plus or minus 3 years (i.e. between 2013 and 2019 ) as the new ‘ice-free’ date.

He’ll keep modifying that and his followers will describe the previous claims as being just one iteration towards the truth (because their critics will always remind them of the mistake).

The mindset of living in bBC la la land
The bBC interviews 3 families living in Boston about the influx of immigration as of the 1st Jan 14.
Romanian and Bulgarian immigration: Boston families give their views
Hands up if you already know the outcome?
Anybody else get the feeling that the bBC is on a mission to make everybody feel guilty at complaining about how all these people who are going to come to the country are actually going to benefit us all? According to the bBC only the (White) British can be racist.

So in the 3 articles (from today) which I have found on the bBC about how the Roma are really my friend I spotted this: bBC statement about the law abiding Roma</a
Zaneta (right) believes her children have far greater chances in life in the UK than in the Czech Republic, where they are dogged by anti-Roma prejudice at every step.
Well not if the family don’t start wearing seatbelts, of course when (and if) they are stopped by the Police, they will play the ‘Racist’ Card and be fully supported by people who don’t live anywhere near them.

It’s the police’s fault for not handling the “tensions” properly? No blame on the government who created the situation? Is Easton serious? And Boston is an “exceptional” case, is it?

I see the bBC is in half a story mode over the Islamic terrorist attack in Nigeria. Now here is what the bBCs reporter in the region has to say:
Will Ross BBC News, Lagos
Once again there is a startling discrepancy between the official version and eyewitness accounts of these pre-dawn attacks on Maiduguri….How is it that significant numbers of well-armed Boko Haram militants are still driving around Borno State causing havoc?
Fair enough question? Here is how AP report the very same thing:
It was unclear how such a large convoy could move undetected at night in an area under curfew, though the insurgents have seized many military vehicles and arms at the scenes of other attacks and witnesses have said they sometimes wear the same military fatigues as the Nigerian army.

Opening this up to the board,, I wonder how this will all turn out:
A BBC bureau for Burma
This weekend I received news I never thought I’d hear.
Have I missed anything out?

How the bBC reports on the Chinese invasion and subsequent occupation of Tibet over 63 years ago:
Tibetan immolations: Desperation as world looks away
So the bBC gets round to how the Tibetans are protesting about the occupation of their country by a foreign country in this case…China. But hang on nowhere in the article does it mention that fact instead we have :
Since Chinese troops asserted control over Tibet more than half a century ago, and the Dalai Lama fled into exile, the number of monasteries has fallen precipitously.
And:
China has been tightening its hold, not just on the monasteries, but all aspects of Tibetan life and culture.
And:
So Tibetans have been resorting to extreme protests, setting themselves on fire. More than 120 are thought to have done so in the past three years in protest at Chinese rule in their homeland.
And:
China launched a military assault in 1950
And:
Opposition to Chinese rule led to a bloody uprising in 1959
So the bBC which prides itself on its freedom of speech mantra which allows it to ask the most cutting to the bone questions when the target is:America, Britain or Israel.
The bBC, the traitors within our Midst.

‘Jose Giraldo earns his living on the streets of Medellin selling humorous road signs and stickers with iconic images.
It is an eclectic offering, which includes the likes of Hello Kitty, Jesus Christ and Che Guevara.’

Is it just me, or is it a tad insensitive to trivialize Jesus Christ by likening Him to Hello Kitty and Che Guevara?

protested outside the London mosque, it might raise an eyebrow … otherwise he could swim all the way back to fairyland for me … i.e. not interested.

No-this is the new Gay Times…time to Grindr it out of our schools!
I KNOW it`s more absorbent of hamster piss than the others…but maybe we could get the last scientist to find the Kraftwerk Alliance)…you`d have called it “craft/cooking/CDT maybe?…woodwork… anybody?
And in answer to my own question…yes I would!…but I need to be offered one first.

How the left ruin everything they touch:
Blood donation vCJD fears prompt inquiry
An independent inquiry is being launched to check the safety of donor blood amid fears of infection from the human form of “mad cow disease”.The Commons Science and Technology Committee called for the inquiry after studies revealed one in every 2,000 Britons could be carrying variant CJD.…To limit the transmission risk from blood, organs and tissues, NHS Blood and Transplant excludes donors whom it deems to be at higher risk of infection, such as those who themselves have had a blood transfusion.
Its all about human rights, I just hope to Allah that a load of people contract HIV from donated blood, wait hang on:
Former minister raises fear of HIV blood cover-up
New concerns are raised today that government officials attempted to cover up evidence that they could have stopped thousands of people becoming infected with HIV from contaminated blood supplies.
