        đŸ™‚ Happy New Year, David. We’re getting a lot of quality beers from you guys across the pond. The local beer shop is full of lovely hoppy IPAs. It would seem that real ale/beer brewing is taking off over there, just like it is here đŸ™‚ Long may it continue!

    Radio 4 at the moment has a long, long interview with Joseph Stiglitz (“Nobel prize winner” etc) spouting his small-L liberal views on evil banks and the need for much higher taxes. No challenge, no alternative viewpoints, just softball questions about why he’s so ace.

    INBBC = Al JAZEERA = Muslim Brotherhood.

    INBBC is politically entwined with Al Jazeera, so it’s not surprising to see Beeboids continue to run with campaign for Emirate of Qatar’s global Islamic propagandist.

    In a very misleading sentence, Beeboids’ commissioned Mr MILES conveniently omits INBBC’s ongoing support for Muslim Brotherhood, in English and Arabic:-

    “Only Al-Jazeera has continued to deliver the Muslim Brotherhood point of view in Arabic.”

    One can see where Mr Miles resides politically (see end of his pro-Al Jazeera propaganda piece):-

    The Today programme had a brief and very anodyne chat this morning with one of the BBC people trapped on board the Ship of Fools in the Antarctic. No mention of the fact that the idea of the “expedition” was to check the effects of global warming !!! – and no mention of the real danger they are now in, with bad weather stil preventing helicopter rescue and the clear risk that further compression of the ice could breach the hull of the vessel.

    Meanwhile there has been a new twist to the fiasco. As the three other vessels have failed to break through the ice to the Ship of Fools, the US coastguard heavy-duty icebreaker Polar Star is now on standby – although it is many days sailing away and it already has a commitment to resupply US Antarctic bases. Someone on Polar Star asked a contact at a San Diego TV station for info. on weather forecasting for the area – maybe to pass on to the Russian crew of the Ship of Fools. This San Diego station has given a report on what has been happening – a report that delivers far more facts than anything the BBC has done so far. But the real irony is that two of the people helping out with weather forecasting advice are Joe Bastardi of WeatherBell and Anthony Watts of WattsUpWithThat – who are demonised by the Warmists ! Watts is frequently criticised as a rank amateur – how dare he run the most-viewed website in the world on climate change ?

    BBC News Channel reflects on last night’s New Year celebrations: As the BBC headline I learn that 80,000 celebrated in Edinburgh…. whilst second billing goes to London where a quarter of a million turned out and – as far as I’m aware – London is still capital of the UK…?

    Put at its simplest and least conspiritorial this wee smidgen of bias only goes to highlight how the BBC is packed with left-leaning public school Oxbridge liberal elitists who constantly walk on eggshells and lean over backwards so as not to be seen to offend any minority-based gripe that may reach a thumb to the Twitter machine.

    Stop the BBC – it has reached the point where it not only does no good it begins to do harm.
