More inclusiveness on the Steve Wright show, not for the first time in recent weeks the ‘Non Stop Oldies’ are chosen by a gay chap, happy to announce he’s in a civil partnership (arghhhh). Do such application letters suddenly jump to the top of the producers pile?

Add in an appearance of Sir Lefty himself Tony bloody Robinson (a knighthood? how the #u%k ?) the show turned into Steve Left In In The Afternoon …

So I turn on the 18:00. Much ado about the minimum wage, I thought they’d set the new level. No it’s Osbourne is recommending an ‘inflation busting’ increase. Hold on if minimum wage goes up won’t it impact on tax credits and housing benefits. My understanding is wages go up benefit goes down. Interview with minimum worker, were they ethnic English? Interview with their boss, no surprise he thinks it shouldn’t increase. Still never mind as we now know all the bosses need to do is get some agency workers in and as we now know pay them less than minimum wage.

I think inflation of basic stuff is much higher,.If the minimum wage was not increased many people would be in real trouble.
But what the hell- just bring in more immigrants and pay them sweet FA.
The not the Conservative party will only be following in New Labour’s footsteps.
It has always puzzled me why people still believe that New labour and Cameron’s lot care one jot for the mass of the British people.
They care for loud shouting minorities but for us, particularly the ethnic English they care just enough that we vote for them
It is essential to give UKIP a massive vote. It will really upset the complacent politicians wrecking this land. .

Not plugging 12 years a slave on the one show now. I think they might not have plugged it on the news at 18:00 as well.

Loads of lovely multicultural mischief but don’t say anything about it or you’ll be a ‘waycist’ unless the lefties decide its OK first!

It seems an old Muslim Shariah ‘honour’ system has been used to launder million of pounds worth of drug money. No wonder the Muslim community always appears awash with cash!

Something called the ‘Hawala’ system, which appears wide open to corruption and unfit to prevent modern crime. But it’s all very vibrant !

There’s a story today in the Commentator
Terror of Christian Coptic kids abducted in Egypt
Latest kidnapping of Christian Coptic child in Egypt raises fears as pattern emerges of young children being abducted and sometimes tortured and killed whether the ransom is paid or not

    Raymond Ibrahim

Another Coptic Christian child was recently kidnapped in Egypt, raising fears about his safety after the torture and murder of other kidnapped children whether the ransom is ultimately paid or not, according to reports from rights groups.

Of course there’s no mention of it on the BBC website since it falls outside their concern or agenda.
Injured Palestinians however gets immediate response from the BBC with this story ‘Five hurt’ in Israel Gaza air raids
You will notice as always for the BBC, the Palestinians have victim status despite launching several rocket attacks at a major Israeli city which prompted the air strike. The story also allows unverified the claim by Palestinian medics that 4 out of the 5 that were injured are children. So the BBC in this case put themselves forward as concerned for the welfare of children – but not Coptic Christian children.

They also consider another update to the story of the arrested 3 Al-Jazeera journalists high up their rank of importance for MidEast news. Interesting that when the female reporters were sexually assaulted by Morsi supporters the BBC all but avoided it. But 3 journalists legally charged is BIG NEWS for the BBC.

Egypt ‘charges’ three al-Jazeera English journalists
In the penultimate paragraph of the article they write: The Egyptian authorities have long accused al-Jazeera of bias in favour of the Muslim Brotherhood since the army ousted President Mohammed Morsi in July.

It must have slipped their mind about the 22 Al-Jazeera journalists who resigned last July because of the pro-Muslim Brotherhood bias shown by their company.

But then, the BBC never reported that either.

Islam Not BBC (INBBC) censors on arrested Muslim women:-

Given that the BBC didn’t mention the alleged female terrorists’ religion, I think it is safe to assume that they are adherents of the religion of peace.

Also noticed on R5L this morning a report about the persecution of gays in Nigeria by Christians. Apparently, they can face up to 15 years in jail. The Stonewall spokesman added that under Sharia, it was even worse, since the death penalty applied. But that was a mere afterthought after the word “Christian” had been used at least 4-5 times (in my guess). The “M-” word and the “I-” word did not appear at all. Almost beyond belief.

What’s so great about this Paul Goggins fella anyway? Never heard of him before he died and I’m from Manchester.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-25755400
Oh, I see, ‘he trained as a social worker before running a children’s home’, was a councillor from 1990-1998 and was elected for New Labour in 1997 (the Beeb’s favourite year). Did he do any actual work, you know, like making anything? Seems to me that he’s been sucking on the public teat for yonks.
‘Andy Burnham, Labour MP for Leigh and shadow Health Secretary, said Mr Goggins had been a mentor.’ lol, did he murder thousands of people too? ‘Everytime I had a problem … I would call Paul Goggins’ – he must have been sick of your fucking voice then, maybe he died to get away from you. Anyway, there they all were: Belsen Burnham, Ed ‘250,000, er, quarter of a million’ Milliband, Ed ‘Twelvty’ Gonads, the Squeaker, Caroline ‘arab lover’ Flint, Harriet ‘PIE’ Harman, Ming Campbell. Burnham seemed quite upset, a tear in his eye; if one death could do that imagine what thousands could do?
The only tragedy that I can see is that no-one blew up Salford Cathedral with all those twats inside. Maybe God thought he’d save the lightning bolts and give them all cancer. Here’s hoping.

The BBC’s left-media-educational complex were up in arms when Michael Gove had the temerity to criticise their preparations for attacking Britain via the upcoming World War One salient.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25612369

‘A row has erupted between Sir Tony Robinson and Michael Gove after the education secretary claimed “left-wing academics” were using Blackadder “to feed myths” about World War One.’

Amusingly acedemic Sir Richard Evans turned up on Newsnight to insist his views were ‘not particularly Left-wing’ and then in the same breath went on to praise the (Labour-led) ‘Welsh Government’ for their planned 1914 commemoration of conscienscious objectors, womens role in the war and anglo-german collaboration.

Of course it is never difficult to fathom which side of the debate the BBC will come down on.

Nick Higham hosts Meet The Author for the BBC. The subject is 1914-18 and three guesses what books the BBC man selects?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-25770865

    Fiction – tick
    Female authors – tick
Concentration on death and injury – tick
No mention of German agression – tick
Attack on British Empire – tick
    Womens suffrage – tick
    Leftist politics – tick

    How depressing.

And how very predictable, my dear Slerlock.

Lets cheer ourselves up with a joke….

One book Nick Higham has recently shuffled to the very bottom of his BBC reading list :

    The French Left-winger’s Woman

Just as parts of the political ‘left’ (inc many Beeboids) seem to take ‘Blackadder’ as their history on WWI in Europe, so too they are likely to take Robert Bolt’s CND, and historically fallacious screenplay for ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ as their marker for WWI in the Middle East.

Politically, of course, INBBC is anti-Assad, and pro-Sunni Muslims (reflecting Islamic opinion among Beeboid staff)?
