A CLERIC THE BBC LIKES!

The BBC has a long record of being hostile to religious spokesmen if they dare to speak up for what we can call “orthodox values” If a Bishop somewhere chirps up expressing disagreement with gay marriage, he can be assured a rough ride (whoops) however if a Cardinal attacks Welfare Reform, he can be certain that the BBC will smile upon him!

if a cardinal attacks welfare reforms, particularly the ones that are foisted on the most vulnerable, the weakest in our society by this bunch of patronising, arrogant, grasping “toryboy ideologue” simpletons … he is doing a bloody good job, if he wants to speak harshly back against
the overbearing gay “rights” industry good job too.
… its not too hard to deal with the usual standard of BBC interviewer.

The Catholic Church and the Church of England are just as enthusiastic as the BBC are, about giving other people’s money away. Funny how they sit on enormous reserves of land and property century after century when there is so much misery in the world. Surely they should be in sack cloth and ashes and being fed from food banks when not collecting for the poor on street corners, rather then sitting in their palaces and urging the rest of us to give up ever more of our hard earned cash. The BBC of course just take money with menaces from folks who don’t even want their ever more biased liberal left output so they can pay themselves fat salaries and live comfortably in Hampstead at our expense.

There is something quite surreal about representatives from two organisations who allowed the systematic abuse of children discussing morality.

And on Thought for the Day this morning we had the BBC’s own tame leftist vic the Rev Roy Jenkins rolled out to further their BBC’s ‘religion of peace’ agenda by telling us how all his Muslim friends were ‘distressed’ that the 9/11 atrocity could be committed in the name of their religion, what jolly nice people they all are apart from a tiny minority etc.

Which is why opinion polls like these never see the light of day on the BBC:

    http://my.telegraph.co.uk/danielpycock/danpycock/956/what-do-british-muslims-think-of-the-uk/

    – ‘0% of British Muslims found homosexuality acceptable.

-According to Channel 4 Polls in August 2006, reported in both the Scotsman and the Financial Times:
-24 per cent agreed or tended to agree that the 7/7 bombings were justified.
-45 per cent think 9/11 was carried out by the US or Israel.

‘These results are from Muslims polled (16 – 24) for Policy Exchange:
-37 percent of young British Muslims want Sharia law in Britain.
-36 percent of young British Muslims think apostates should be killed.
-13 percent of young British Muslims said they “admired” Al Qaeda’.

    And more.

You begin to wonder whether the BBC is so detached from reality it actually believes its own spin.

Forgive me for this one, but I have to tell it:

    The BBC praising a clergyman?
“What’s come over you?”– said the bishop to the actress…

I don’t care who you are, that one’s funny right there…because ordinarily, as you say, their inclination is to bash a bishop…

Interesting – when was the last time you heard a bishop and actress joke on the BBC?

Presumably too stereotypical for these PC times.

A tad too direct to give us our dose of Marxism from the Labour Party all the time, so we also hear regularly from Marxist/statists dressed up as environmentalists or as god botherers. Funny how the overwhelming majority of Christian opinions foisted upon us during the Today prog’s ‘Thought for the Day’ are right-on lefties like Giles Fraser, Brian Draper, Jim Jones etc. etc. Oh and that Gay vicar who was in the Communards who is always on and has ruined the old John Peel slot on Saturday mornings. Richard Coles.

All of the above, plus Coles and Draper and several others. The great ‘Platitude of the Day’ website takes a daily potshot at their vacuous and sanctimonious contributions to the Today programme.

All statutes point to Rome! The commercing of criminality, or what fiction gets directed as criminalization. The fiction accuses all to be guilty, and only a ordinary, can benefit all, with a sacrament of penance.

Just being sarcastic about the hypocrisy of canon/maritime law. With the trading liberties of the “person”.
While the magna carta based on the principles of common law offers more of god’s given unalienable rights as a human.
Does Rome or England histories offer the world, the right to be free of communism?
