BBC ANY QUESTIONS

I had the UTTER MISFORTUNE to listen to BBC Any Questions today. It was from the Bath Literature Festival with Justice Minister Simon Hughes MP, Shadow Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs Maria Eagle MP, Yale Law professor and author Amy Chua, and writer and broadcaster Germaine Greer. So, all to the left as usual. What stunned me was the question on whether Harriet Harman should apologise. The panel were unanimous – she should not. It was put to the audience, 99% of whom agree she had NOTHING to say sorry for. I was stunned. The bias is UNBELIEVABLE.

If it reinforces Harlot Harridan in her determination to admit no wrong, ie papal infallibility, let her do so as her fall will be even greater. The mail seems to come up with ever more info/links to the vile, seething, fellow-travelling, proselytising mess that was Labour in the 70s. Protest at the drop of a hat on whatever flimsy pretext and you can con half the electorate. That’s the price we pay now..

Thank god you got here with this update. I woke up to this awful program, I couldn’t believe it, not only was everyone a marxist, two different foreigners had the nerve to lecture me on the benefits of immigration to my country! The BBC is beyond a joke and needs to be scrapped.

Well, Greer’s an Australian, but I still take your point. One foreigner doing it is bad enough, But then the Beeb often put somebody on with a foreign accent to tell me what a great favour they have done me by coming here. Marvellous, isn’t it. There isn’t room to swing a cat in the South East of England, ag land going under concrete faster than you can say ‘green belt’ and two and a half million unemployed. So let’s let a few Bulgarians and Romanians in – that’ll rub the right’s nose in diversity.

      Best wishes.

It was a particularly odd edition this week.

Any Questions is rarely as biased as its TV big brother – in more than one meaning – Question Time. This perhaps because you apply for tickets and the audience is not handpicked by the BBC.

Last night, however the audience were firmly Labour. Eagle’s comment about winning the next election was rapturously applauded to such a degree it sound unanimous.

Maybe it is something as simple as a literary festival being a bastion of luvvidom.

Just got in having listened to todays shockingly biased Any Questions, even by the BBCs low standards this was disgraceful propaganda. Even the audience joined in the united “bien pensant” front. A new level BBC- Goebbels would be proud of you.

Did anyone else hear Germaine Greer mocking the flood victims in this edition?

That is, indeed, an appalling panel list. As soon as I see or hear that blubbering, gibbering buffoon Simon Hughes, I get an overpowering urge to give the TV set the Keith Moon treatment!

Isn`t there an all expenses MP trip to look at Ugandan Pink Oboe Orchestra funding that we could send Hughes, Laws and Oaten on…it IS free after all!
The Eagle “girls” could join them in the “It ain`t arf hot mum” tribute tour…wax moustaches and briar pipes as needed.

Good points above from both Mr V and JR.
    1. That “survey” that Dimbleby said was 99% in favour of Harman sticking to her PIEdophilia guns?…I`d like proof of that-even a bunch of well-heeled literary drones in Bath are surely not that stupid and amoral..especially when they`d say sorry to Abu Hamza not getting a lifetimes supply of Brasso from Lambeth Social Services or such.
Dimbos maths and eyesight will not be what they were-let`s have a recount, or a picture eh?
    2. I too was shocked at Greers scorn for the Somerset flood victims, especially when Bath is near enough to have personal experience of what is STILL a crisis, albeit one that the BBC have floated free from.
How dare this shagbag who was taken captive by a smitten lesbian or two on her “grievance and muckraking symposium sciences module”-a sperm dump for any passing Peel or Aitken at the time…how DARE she mock those who suffer still(apart from Harmans victims, who she covers in oil or bile).
Only a quisling BBC would give Greer her vile platforms to play the bitter sister of the Outback…old trout has never left Rushcutters Bays bistros so won`t know much about floods out there, I`d guess.
The BBC are really stirring up trouble for themselves…thankfully the Any Answers that followed seemed better balanced with some good comments.
But no Harman again…nor on the “topical News Quiz” either?
Still-Bulingdon and posh boys eh?…funny as Bill Hicks obituary notice…no, the latter is still a source of a a just God!

  10. London Calling says:

That would be this Germaine Greer?

“Germaine had now decided the only way to overcome male domination in marriage was for a woman to marry beneath her station, and in 1968 … decided to marry her builder. “You don’t know him, no one does,” she wailed. “He’s wild and wonderful, wish me luck.”
The marriage lasted no more than three weeks, during which Germaine has claimed she was unfaithful several times”

And we pay to listen to dopey old cow?

So Harman supported a paedophile agenda and 99% of the Any Questions audience believe she has nothing to apologise for?

This country is either a paedophile’s paradise or the make-up of that audience was skewed beyond belief (along with the BBC).

” I think the only consolation is that no one with any serious interest in politics would listen to this show ”

That’s what worries me. The average punter is likely to believe this bollox, even if only by osmosis.

i listened to any questons for 19 minutes last night.that was enough sick inducing punishment for me,dont these labour party supporters on the panel and all these other sychophants in the socalist workers party dominated audience sicken you to the teeth,of course they will defend harriet harman and her links to the paedophile information exchange,of course they will because they all share the same politcal sick idealogy, see here is the thing, when these lefties get in a spot of trouble, all the others lefties close ranks with them, they always do,here is another thing, dont you get sick and tired of mr dimbleby when discussing a topic and asks for hands to be raised to vote on a topic knowing full well it is left wing biased audience and then says when the leftists win the vote says this is not a scientific survey knowing full well any leftie cause will win the votes with howls and screams from the any questions leftie audience, dont that make you sick.

Worth looking at just how Harman, Hewitt and Dromey got involved with this crusade by PIE.
I think this shows the psychological make-up of what we call left-wingers.
They truly lack the vision to think things through and see what impact their policies will have on our society. Subconsciously aware of their limited thinking process, their inferiority complex drives them to prove themselves as visionaries. So they will support anybody who presents their case as ‘progressive’, regardless of genuine merit. If a group of burglars came to them and said that they were in fact ‘wealth re-distributors’, the left-wingers would campaign to make them legitimate.

The first thing that should be done to get these type of minds out of power is to privatise their propaganda brainwashing machine – the BBC. Once free thought and debate is encouraged again the hitherto sleepwalking public might wake up.

    What’s happened to Harriet Harman?

In today’s ‘Any Questions’, the poser selected for the Harriet Harman discussion was not an open query about whether she should apologise. It asked the panelists if they thought Ms Harman should be FORCED to apologise when she believes she has done nothing wrong. How many responses could there be to that?

Yes…I have a question! Here on the left by the SWP greaseball!
Just heard Archive Hour-all about the BBCs programming for youth (Generation X as they called it)…Sat 1/3/14 8p.m R4.
How come all BBC researchers since the 40s are lesbian nebby trouts with double-barrelled names?
How come they get the right to script what Youth says…and get them to act it later on?
How come the BBC miss out on the stable years of people doing well and miss out on Whitehouse or PIE?
How come they`re sex/drugs obsessed, and forever sucking the nub of youth for rebellions…but safe ones as their chroniclers go to Oxbridge-and hence to commission and narrate such patronising working-class pastiches like these?
So many questions-but only ones that Orwell would have had need to ask…and after Mark Duggan, STILL unanswered!
The Song remains the Same…reassuringly expensive, consistently condescending chils actors and prepsters…our Godwaful scumlined BBC!
Say goodbye to the License Fee Gracie!

Having listened to any questions, and having been in the real world.i think that I have a good insight in to what people think about the whole affair . As I work for a charity and speaking to all my colleges and customers the overwhelming feeling was that Harmen et al was wrong and just an admission would have been ok. There is something wrong with BBC when I heared the support for Harmen from the audience and my own experience of the people who I have met and their point of view
