I see the bBC has started a “She can only be a victim and think of the children” Article for British drug smuggler Khadija Shah. Drugs smuggler ‘unfairly convicted’ The family of a British woman jailed for smuggling drugs out of Pakistan believe she was unfairly convicted….Her mother, who asked not to be named, thinks Shah was tricked into carrying 63kg (138lb) of heroin by traffickers.
138Ibs of Heroin in suitcases bBC? That’s 2Ib short of 10 stone. How the hell can anybody claim she was tricked into carrying such through an airport?
“”I know my daughter; she is a very innocent girl.”
Women can be extremely naïve and stupid no matter how otherwise worldly they are when ‘romanced’ into action. One can get them to do things they would otherwise never consider or blindly accept obvious (to others) lies.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this one was turned like this.
Additionally, in this case, she was heavily pregnant (who asks a pregnant woman to carry anything – do they have no standards?) so no doubt even more irrational than ever.
My question is, where is the father of her child and what was his role in all this?
Actually that article by itself is fairly uncontentious. It’s the succession of articles (eg the 3 on the sidebar where this article is published) which argues that the BBC editors are attempting to portray Khadija as an innocent victim in all this. The involvement of Orla Guerin and her signature “cry me a river” reportage also points to such a conclusion.
Of course, she might very well be wholly innocent and, by implication, a complete idiot. Also I don’t have much faith in the judicial processes in Pakistan so I wouldn’t dismiss the idea that she is indeed being railroaded here.
However, I suspect that, although she might be the fall-guy in this smuggling attempt, she is not wholly innocent. After all, the size of the consignment (packed in “several suitcases”) would raise some suspicion in the most naive of potential unknowing drug-mules. What I find interesting is that the authorities in Pakistan (and the UK?) didn’t accept that Khadija – even if guilty as charged – was a low-level part of the smuggling ring. Tracking the consignment to see where it ended up and who was involved would be far more fruitful that jailing a mule.
If the Pakistani authorities are serious about drug smuggling then finding the Mr Bigs in Pakistan and the UK should be the priority. But Pakistan – which is mired in corruption from top to bottom – is not interested in getting Mr Big since Mr Big generously pays off the authorities (or, just as probably, is part of the “authorities” himself) . It’s the Khadijas of this world who are caught up in the law enforcement process – not Mr Big.
However, don’t expect Orla or the BBC to tell Khadija’s story other than just another human interest, bleeding sores exposé. The greater story which is avoided here is that Pakistan is a failed and corrupt state whose only successful export (apart from drugs, of course) is the creeping public and private corruption now being visited upon the UK.
They immediately went the same sympathy angle with the Scots and Irish girls who smuggled the drugs in South America and then when found guilty, it was all about them serving their sentence in the UK
Just before 11, and with the terror appeasement still waiting for an airing, VD interviews a rather aggressive sounding “striking teacher”, described as just that in the preamble, going by the name of Bridget Chapman.
Bridget herself however doesn’t describe herself as a teacher online. She calls herself a “feminist, socialist and activist”.
Funny how Five Live fails to give full disclosure on such things.
Oh and how awful it must be to be threatened with performance related reviews. Like everyone in the private sector have always had. Produce value or your company loses revenue – it’s called the real world, you NUM Marxist agitators.
Showed my, then, 14yr old niece, how to do long division, [ 14!!!!!! i learnt this at 7 or 8!!!! ] using the old method, carrying under, you know you lot over 50! The teacher could not fathom the method! There is no hope.
Actually, ponder this wise BBCBIASED fellows, not you Bill, i’ve often thought why not have a GCSE in arithmetic, studied right through until the exams, with mathematics as an option from 13-14 on? Most people just use arithmetic all their working lives, include in the curriculum how to calculate area, volume, ratios, basic algebra, commercial arithmetic and so on……surely most kids would leave with some competence then? Maths can be taken by those that want to take engineering, medicine, science etc…..discuss….
Well Robert Brown, the qualifications you suggest are exactly the ones that I have!
I gained my GCE O level in special arithmetic in 1964, and the full mathematics paper in 1965.
The examinations board was the Welsh Joint Education Committee.
Therefore it appears that someone thought of it before you sir.
There ought to be a GCSE in Law (and possibly even a GCSE in Finance). Teaching Law in schools as a proper subject would be very useful for the real world.
A little bit of googling reveals that Bridget Chapman, a teacher from Lambeth, is the militant chair of the anti-Academies Alliance and a Green Party member.
Five Live, in the misshape of ummmm… errrr… [odd… uncomfortable… pause] Victoria Derbyshire interviews the brother of Islamic terrorist Mujahid Abu Hamza.
Well, what a lovely chat. Terrorist as victim. British justice as evil. Beheading someone in the street as political statement. Lee Rigby killing a justified necessity.
A fucking disgrace. Sorry. No other phrase covers it as concisely. Questions he did not wish to answers were ignored with dead air, then the ones he did not ignore were discussed eloquently and at length.
Five Live covered the trial minimally, and the day after the sentencing Breakfast didn’t mention it at all. Not a single word. Now, a few short weeks later, we see Five Live’s true colours once more.
I, and a few others, have pointed out Five Live’s ongoing war on British culture. It needs an urgent parliamentary review and root and branch change, starting with the controller.
INBBC will get even more Islamic in its broadcastging output.
V.Derbyshire’s sick-making apologetics today for the Islamic jihad murderers of Lee Rigby will appear as but a landmark in INBBC’s deepening political commitment to all things Islamic.
V.Derbyshire’s devious and disingenuous reaction to criticism from listeners on this disgusting item was to censor it, and change the subject.
Her job done for the INBBC political left- Islam alliance, at British people’s cost.
“Outrage as brother of one of Lee Rigby’s killers condemns judge for handing down full-life sentence after ‘trial by public.’
“Jeremiah Adebolajo says his sibling Michael was victim of Islamophobia.
“Brother could be rehabilitated and judge gave public ‘what they wanted.’
“Adebolajo was given a ‘whole life’ term – Michael Adebowale given 45 years.
“Public angry that BBC allowed man ‘platform’ to defend his family member.”
By MARTIN ROBINSON.
It is because the BBC is funded by tax extortion that it can behave like this. It does not have to answer to anybody who holds the money tree.
Break it’s link with the taxpayer now and we will see just how genuinely popular it is. I would be surprised if 10% of licence payers subscribe.
These liberal left intellectuals have no conception of how offensive this interview is.
My oldest son works for the Army and meets many ordinary soldiers on a day to day basis. He says the Lee Rigby killing really really upset them and has ramifications we are yet to see. The killing has fundamentally changed attitiudes and minds. For VD to conduct this interview is beyond comprehension. She should be dismissed .
Have INBBC’s Islamic-advocate chums of AL JAZEERA (which include many ex-Beeboids, to be esconced in Emirate of Qatar-owned, the Shard), gone as far as V. Derbyshire and INBBC yet in propagandising sympathy for Lee Rigby’s Islamic jihad gruesome murderers?
The Beeboid decision to air sympathy for the murderers of Lee Rigby must have got political approval from the very top, from Labour Party promoter, director general, Tony HALL.
The whole Corporation is riddled with political left, Islamic propagandisers.
Mmmmm….these muslims are quick to riot and take offence….witness the baiting and sexual harassment of a young woman walking through a Cairo campus, hordes of slavering males following her…….tourists are molested frequently. These cretins are sexually suppressed by their wretched religion, they should not be allowed into this country, full stop. How many women have had their lives turned upside down by these foul creatures? Thousands i’ll say, the guilty politicians just keep their feet on the lid…..
When you listen to the BBC on this subject you can hear that they know what your son has told you is true and not just in the Army. They are scared witless, apparently, of being the ones who create the spark that lights the conflagration. So they play down Lee Rigby’s murder and the influence of a growing militant Islamism in the UK to keep the peace. Or so they say.
But at the same time they need to appease Labour and keep those BEM votes coming in. So they do what they normally do and play the offended BEM card. It’s all those nasty Tory’s fault you see.
They think they are doing the right thing and because they don’t believe in Hell they don’t give a shit about good intentions and what they pave.
I think it was rather a good thing and the brother was hoist by his own pettard.
Anyone who may have thought he had a point prior to the VickyD interview certainly wouldnt have after listening to his lies and silences.
The BBC’s darling Lucy Winkett rector of St James, Piccadilly gave a typical hypocritical thought for the day. She went on about having sympathy for the various victims of different tragedies. Her actions in supporting the £30 thousand replica of the Israeli security fence outside her church clearly meant that what was missing was any sympathy for Israeli victims of Palestinian Arab terrorist attacks.
This campaign is gaining momentum and its a pity that decriminalisation has been delayed until the charter negotiations. But at least there are positive signs that the BBC is not going to have it all its own way , unless of course Labour win the GE and they will want to keep the corporation going for the votes it secures for them.
But if the Tories do win the next GE then they must not flinch from driving a stake through the heart of the BBC. They may not get another chance to end the flow of leftist propaganda that the BBC churns out. So they must make sure they get rid of it in such a way that a future Labour government could not resurrect it.
“…Mr Bridgen asked MPs to imagine a ‘banana republic introducing a poll tax on citizens to allow them access to state television’ and forcing ‘women with children to be detained by the state’ if they declined to pay that tax. Yet it was already happening – here.”
Amazing how obviously outrageous the BBC license fee is when you actually think about it in those terms. Fantastic article, btw.
Labour’s Chi Onwura (no Cicero, she) grumpily accepted that a review of criminalisation was overdue. She insisted that the BBC was ‘respected’ and ‘unbiased’.
I actually enjoyed this associated story regarding members of the public removing the implied assent of access to the enforcement officers and subsequently threatening to sue for trespassing. Happy days.
More so called ethnic discrimination crap on the Jeremy Whine show.
Apparently if ‘applying for a job with an African name you don’t get an interview, with an English name you do’
Utter tripe and I know from experience from that the reverse is true, you have to have a bloody good reason to not interview an immigrant, questions may be asked, yet ‘whitey’s’ application form can be shredded without question. Employers are very guarded in this respect, I’ve even known immigrants to be employed for no other reason than tokenism to appease ‘head office’ HR stats, reverse discrimination is probably as prevalent as institutional racism here.
Regardless all application forms these days want to know the everything form your religion to sexual orientation to ethnicity, a complete non story. I do wonder what happens if the employer is non indigenous I bet he favours those of his ‘own kind’ but of course that’s OK – see takeaways and ethnic restaurants….
Quite why Whine feels the need to resurrect a 2009 Guardian story, I’m not sure, but one thing is that the bBC does not have the best interests of the indigenous at heart ….
West Indians have mostly English surnames, so maybe you are right, the Asians get the jobs because West Indians are mistaken for being English, so their application form goes into the bin, but the Asians would beet the Africans on merit.
I was surprised at how civilised the audience was, but then all it proves is that there were only UKIP and Liberals in the audience, and no violent middle-class Labour head bangers in the audience, heckling away, demanding the censorship of free speech.
It proves that the program producer didn’t spend the preceding 48 hours phoning around his mates in the SWP and WRP to round an audience of hard left activists .
The vast majority of the media commentators immediately called the debate for Clegg, both in style and substance, then the polls came out showing the public felt the opposite and Farage won by a mile.
The BBC news following this had a very telling line, when the newsreader said “We could talk about who win, BUT…”
The same talking head commentators all the next day were staill claiming that Clegg won and that the polls were wrong
Well isn’t that typical of how the EU and it’s followers think? The EU has refused to recognise 3 popular referendums in the last 3 weeks, Polls be damned. We don’t care what the little people think, we know best, arrogance, condesensiona and patronising authoritarianism. All personified by the BBC in their coverage.
I missed the debate and heard about how it went from BBC Radio news. The announcer said what Clegg had said and what Farage had said, but no word on who won. I immediately realised Farage had won. If it had been Clegg, the BBC would have crowed about it.
“A BBC spokesbot says that all BBC picture editors leave their politics in their colouring books, and if you want to prove different, even with an FoI, as Nelson says… ‘Har-har'”.
An actual human was unwilling to comment as there was no time, or room, or desire to, or need really.
But Tony, Chris, Alan & Danny say hi from wherever they are sunning currently, and keep sending the Max Byalistockian chekkie.
‘Questions from the audience, which has been selected to reflect the UK population as well as a range of views on the EU, will be screened by an editorial panel but the parties will not see them in advance.’
They would say that wouldn’t they.
But in the Labour says tradition, the last sentence of the article goes to Labour:
‘ Labour’s Shadow Cabinet Office minister Jon Ashworth said Wednesday’s encounter was “a lightweight battle between two men who will never be prime minister”.
The BBC’s debate will be fair, they say.
A bit like their reporters trip to a bar in/near to Dover where they spoke with an Englishman (pro-Farage), another Englishman (of Italian origin), a Pole and, if memory serves, a Dutch woman – all pro Clegg.
That little quote about the argument between “two men who will never be Prime Minister” is obviously the Labour talking point to the MSM. I’ve lost count of the number of Labour politicos and apparatchicks who’ve dropped out that sentence in interviews since the debate made news. It surely shows that Labour drones have nothing to say unless it’s scripted for them.
I have avoided TV news for the past few years and filtered the radio news (as if there is any difference on the bBC) as best I can.
This site, and the likes of Guido/EUReferendum, provided some form of background, but it is the mere 515 (currently) people I follow on Twitter who provide me with a comprehensive coverage on current affairs.
I do not agree with all of the views given, as I’m sure not all those who follow me agree with all I forward/comment on. The major differences to the bBC is that I do not have to pay for the pointers and I can read and agree/disagree as I see fit.
Unfortunately, this ‘choice’ is not one provided by our compulsory taxpayer-sponsored state broadcaster.
I turned on the TV earlier this morning hoping that Film 4 might be showing a worthwhile film.
It started tuned to BBc 1 where I had the pleasure of the job creation scheme known as rip off Britain. Try investigating the BBc licence if you wan’t real rip off love. No it was SUGAR, the new evil of evil. More evil than fat apparently it may even kill your kitten (although I might of made that last bit up). Yes smoothies are FULL OF Sugar it may be fruit SUGAR but Sugar non the less. I hit the off, as it was I think the film on Film 4 was on the other day, the one with Buster Crabbe in it.
Did you hear Evan “the whiner” Davis say loudly “So frustrating!!!!” this morning in the interview with Ian Duncan Smith.
His prep classes of crap attack journalism from the Nu Labour BBC school of Journalism clearly weren’t assisting in his attack on IDS – regardless of what one thinks of IDS and the polices he presents. BBC impartiality shining thru. it will be good when we are rid of this organisation that likes to interfere and abuse the democratic process in favour of anything peddled by Nu Liebour.
I did.
Funnily enough though, I could hardly hear a word that IDS actually said, since Davis was trying to hump his own leg and behaving like a brain-damaged shitzu as he ceaselessly banged his own piercings against a glass partition…and seemingly unable to ask a question without incontinent interruptions and emissions.
Remind me again-what training has this bloke got to interview anybody…I`d have thought after his “Lord Young” fiasco a few years back, they would stop him getting wired up on nights before he has to ask things.
Absolute disgrace-haven`t we thousands of Somalis or Eritreans who actually COULD do interviews…Hospital radio experience would be all that was needed.
Davis is a waste of gayspace.
Didn’t hear the IDS interview but I did hear Davis’s earlier one with Rachel Reeves. As is his form with Labour politicians he couldn’t get excited in the pant-wetting way he does with Tories. He asked a few pertinent questions but it was obvious he wasn’t comfortable doing so – his animated shrieks/giggles and loud interruptions were noticeably absent. Hell, he didn’t even make the point that if Labour hadn’t put a Saturn 5 under welfare spending there as likely wouldn’t be the need for the interview.
Davis is the most openly biased of the Today interviewers. He should be removed from all news/current affairs programming.
I did hear it and it enraged me – I couldn’t actually hear IDSs point of view as Davis talked over him constantly. Compare and contrast with Davis interviewing Christine Blower during the same programme. She was allowed to sitter on endlessly about her union’s strike action. A total disgrace.
“Still the BBC’s black hole of Salford swallows your cash: £15,000 on Gary Lineker’s taxis. Star presenters commuting by jet. And now even the boss behind that £1bn move north won’t leave London.
“The wastefulness at the Beeb’s shiny new headquarters is mind-blowing.
“Many high-profile staff still will not move more than a year after it opened.
“Among them is the 42-year-old BBC Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid.
“Victoria Derbyshire presented her show from Salford twice in two weeks.
“BBC North supremo Peter Salmon received a £28,500 relocation package.
“National Audit Office slams BBC for its £24m ‘over-generous’ allowances.”
Funny, you’d think the socialist beeboids would give heir eye teeth to live and work close to the ‘working class communities’ they are always so keen to champion.
INBBC censor reporting of Islamic jihad in Switzerland.
‘Jihadwatch’:-
“Ç.R. murdered three people and injured five. He is a Swiss national, thereby demonstrating the glorious fruits of multiculturalism for Switzerland. Like all Islamic jihadists, he does not accept the authority of the Infidel polity, and so refuses to testify even in his own defense, because the trial is not being held in accord with the law of Allah. If it were, he probably believes that he would be acquitted, as his killings were in the cause of Islam. “‘I did a good deed by killing a Turkish gendarme,’ Niğde assailant says,” from the Hürriyet Daily News, March 25 (thanks to Pamela Geller)”
-from:-
“I don’t render an account to anyone but Allah. I will not give any testimony. You are all pagans.”
Do Beeboids think that people might see similarities between the Islamic jihad killing of Lee Rigby in England, and the killing of officials in Switzerland?
Womens hour phone in on ‘Sexism in Islam’ was a joke with the presenter Jane Garvey blatantly admitting bias, in saying that she wasn’t going to allow the program to stray into the negative.
A self selecting phone in of emancipated Muslim women, with all those who are forced to stay home and not allowed out excluded by definition (how many oppressed Muslim women listen to Radio at all let alone Radio 4?)
Lots of isms and phobias with the entire mess degenerating in the usual aggressive fascist bullying in fighting and attempts to silence other peoples opinions by name calling and simply talking louder!
There was no examination of the offending verses in the Qur’an or any other Muslim texts, because of course that would reveal the truth!
Muslim (4:1039) – “A’isha said [to Muhammad]: ‘You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses’” These are the words of Muhammad’s favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam.
Some Muslim phoned in claiming Islamophobia but was quickly reassured that she wouldn’t allow it to stray into the negative. I’m sure the program is available on iPlayer.
Censorship? Listen, any organisation that can make a programme about free speech, and allow it to be censored by a mosque, has no clue what the word means.
Of course, the BBC’s employees often seem restricted on their source press for what prompts them to ask anything… http://notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/guardian-think-1929-was-more-than-250-years-ago/ ‘Apparently 1929 was more than 250 years ago! I expect that’s close enough for the average Guardian reader!’
And who knows who such readers may be?
But then, I guess it was also a different time.
Lucky the BBC has settled on the science they like from only the highest calibre sources, like blokes called Bob. http://www.bishop-hill.net/blog/2014/3/26/climate-scientists.html “they have broken their own guidelines about describing interviewees correctly’
There’s a lot of it about. Doesn’t seem to matter much.
Actually Bob seems an ideal, if unintentional, one-person foot-in-mouth outbreak, so bring him on more. But it would be helpful if the BBC could at least stake out who is under what flags correctly.
Some great comments to that piece, including this URL: https://ipccreport.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/professor-sir-bob-ward-wins-nobel-prize/
An explanation for the BBC’s Orwellian statement “Scientists versus Sceptics”
The BBC’s best scientific experts turn out to be non-scientifically qualified Environmental activists.
While Peter Lilly is told that he and other sceptical scientists are censored by the BBC editorial policy, so only none scientists such as Lord Lawson are allowed on the BBC, and now Lord Lawson is to be censored because his opinion is not the opinion of a scientist.
For all the reasons to criticise, it is easy to forget that when the BBC gets back to the basics of news reportage, and handles the key issues professionally, they are worth every bit of that £143.50pa.

BBC World News
Men: Would you get your hair cut like Kim Jong-un?
Reports say #Pyongyang is requiring all men to get the same haircut as the North Korean leader – although some people have reservations about getting the look.
Does your hair cut look like Kim Jong-un’s? Send us a pic http://bbc.in/1jtZTsU
I wonder if Evan, Jezza, Jon, etc are all posing for selfies to send in of them joshing about with their fave megalomaniac dictator barnet as we speak?
Richard Bacon promoting under age sex rudely arguing with a guest from the pro life organisation who is against morning after pills being given to under age school girls in schools without parental consent.
I am not ‘pro life’ but this woman was absolutely right on this point, it WILL increase risky sexual behaviour among children, but also creates a greater peer pressure in schools to be engaging in sex under age.
Why is the BBC News Web site wasting my tax on a publicity drive for lazy NUT members who want another day off, by having a sycophantic live stream about how tough their job is and that they should get more money. Get back to work, and fire anyone involved in reporting this drivel.
There are 438,000 teachers in England, 24878 in Wales and 48,620 in Scotland. That’s 511498 in the UK (NI excluded).
There are supposedly 187,537 Labour party members.
187,537/2 is roughly 18% of all Teachers. Lower than the vote Labour got at the last election (29%). And that’s full-time teachers not including teaching assistants and part-time teachers.
So, thankfully few teachers are as stupid as may be thought. Conversely far too many are.
BBC News Channel this morning and Labour shadow work and pensions secretary, Rachel Reeves, is interviewed concerning Labour’s policy to “take tough decisions on welfare”
And so naturally the BBC tackle her with questions from the Left-hand side of the debate. Gosh, it was as if we were back in the pre-2010 world of Labour Government where the BBC kept asking why-oh-why can’t they be a little more Left?
And here is the BBC on-line report – Labour leftist rebels to the fore
‘Labour leader Ed Miliband has backed a welfare cap but some party backbenchers are expected to vote against the plan.’
Have to admire the BBC’s priorities as judged by their choice of picture – a terraced street, a modest sized George Osborne and then a whacking great big photo of Diane Abbot
If only there were some on the BBC who were enlightened to the dangers to society of promiscuous behaviour rather than encouraging it . It could make such a difference to the stability and happiness of many lives.
This is the end of my poem which is relevant.
.
Such short time blissful pleasure
Was never meant for merely leisure
It’s part of a far greater thing
That’s precious and lost on a passing fling.
It’s hard to explain
But it’s true just the same
When you share your body
It’s not just the physicality that’s there
If you care, you’ll comprehend the fact
Sex is more complex than a simple act
Sex is part of loyalty, love and worth
The greatest gift on earth
If we keep this in sight
Health and contentment will flow
As day follows night.
Would it not be best all round to make the BBC Welsh service subscription-funded so that Welsh speakers can happily talk to themselves without fear of offence?
It’s not wrong, but uses grammar that is so ultra-formal pah.
It’s quite subtle in your example, in having the ‘a’ precede the question.
In modern welsh, generally, it has disappeared, but its effects of mutating the following word remain.
Here’s an example, first a statement, then turn it around to ask a question:
You had a good time.
Cest ti amser da
Did you have a good time?
Gest ti amser da?
In the question there was originally an ‘a’, which caused the c to change to a g by mutation.
So it ought to say
A gest ti amser da?
But these days language like thats a bit shakespearean, and folk dont use it.
But pah, many many thanks for helping me feel at home, it’s much appreciated.
I’m always pleased to help out with Welsh, just ask Mo.
Can you imagine if Nicki Campbell had a phone in debate asking ” Do blacks and muslims irritate you ? ” The BBC can get away with slagging off the Welsh language because only white people speak it.
Oh dearie me, there’s not nice, isn’t it?
The BBC doesn’t seem to have much luck reporting or even commenting upon on matters Welsh. Especially when hitting twitter.
Just to rekindle the ire of the CECUTT duty officer who really doesn’t seem to like this one, by way of a reminder, an oldie but goldie.. http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/trust-upholds-complaint-against-bbc-news-over-inaccurate-tweet
Seems they’ve added offence to inaccuracy, so maybe they’re gunning for a full set of possible box ticks from the complaints menu?
If you get all of them, like in Black Maria (or ‘Hunt the NaughtieMarr’) apparently it wipes the slate clean.
talking about bbc bias, did you watch the newsnight debate last night betreen the moderate muslim democrat maajid nawas from the anti extremist quilliam foundation and the rancid odious in my view islamic supremacists medhi hassan and mo ansar,it was not a debate,it was just bullying and constant shouting down maajid nawas everytime he tried to make a sensible point, why did newsnight pick these 2 radical muslim extremists to attack maajid nawas knowing full well he would get a word in edgeways, there was no balance at all on newsnight last night and it proved just one thing that you cant reason or have a debate with the likes of medhi hassan or mo ansar because they will just use the same old tactic of shouting you down to try and silence you, shame on you newsnight for this farce last night.
I mentioned this one the other day.
Paxman sets Nawaz up like a piece of condemned veal.
Hasan and Ansar take tag turns to shout over Nawaz, to abuse and insult continually as Paxo sits by.
Nawaz DID mention that Ansar was used to replace a female Muslim who had been already booked to appear-but , again this was shoted over as Paxman looked a bit pained and winded.
This was as obvious a stitch up and wanton suck up to Taqqiya and jihadi double-mouthed foaming phonies of Islam as I have seen for quite a while.
And the BBC have given us plenty of similar-so this one on Mondays nights Newsnight was a new low.
It`ll get a lot worse though yet….
Not surprised as Poxman has found his inner Liberace after his soft soapy reach around to the right Revved up Mr ketamine 1997 -20?? Flowers! funny but I always took poxo as a taker not a giver in the who’s on top stakes !!
At PMQs today I thought Cameron kicked Miliband all over the park. In fact DC was in excellent form throughout. Perhaps confidence is high after the positive response to the Budget.
Back at the Daily Politics studio Jo Coburn read out three emails from viewers in the usual ‘what did YOU think’ piece. I was astonished that two of the three were pro-Miliband and the third slightly anti-Miliband (rather than pro-Cameron). The two tweets quoted were evenly split but the anti-Cameron one made the point that ‘Cameron continues to be economical, shall we say, with the truth’
I’m not used to this degree of bias on the Daily Politics. It was a blatant misrepresentation of what had happened, IMHO.
I doubt there is anybody is the Country except a few Labour Party spinners who want to hear what a BBC journalist has picked out from e-mails in order to spin the interpretation of PMQ’s.
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/timstanley/100265085/my-car-crash-tv-experience-trust-me-its-no-fun-when-youre-in-the-driving-seat/ ‘I was not the victim of so-called BBC bias. Free Speech is run by intelligent, charming people who do their best to achieve balance. As with Question Time, every single member of the audience was telephoned and interrogated about their political views before places were handed out evenly to sensible conservatives and whackadoodle Left-wingers.’
I am running that through my head for added tonality.
I saw Tim Stanley on the programme for much of it.
Tim-nice but-dim has got some fair points here, but he was obviously unaware of
1. The fact that he was incidental-basically, the simps in the audience worried about Christians giving gays a hard time, and felt it “sad” that Islam alone got the brickbats…it`s all religions fault innit.
2. The format that insulted everybody-instant twitter selected to back up the Religion of Love and Peace-and how dare anybody question gay love…the young Muslim woman and black catholic were quite correct to point out that you don`t actually have to join a religion that would question your unfettered right to proclaim sexual proclivities over the o;d books and dogmas…but the wannbe victims didn`t like that one bit.
Especially the blonde bimbo who reminded me of Chantelle from Big Brother-but not as smart, only twice as loud.
Behold your future carers!…thick, amoral and stuffed full of liberal cliches that need spelling out for them-thick!
“The BBC has the most extraordinary sense of self-regard, with changes in personnel within the corporation reported though they were stories of national significance. Yet strangely the Beeb never seems to find the time to ask why its top management trousers over a quarter of a million pounds a year each. Or why the same clique of opinion-formers seem to be commissioned to tell the rest of us what to think.
“The digital revolution is making the world better in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways. As well as dooming the licence fee, it is democratising the process of opinion forming. The priesthood of liberal-leftie pundits and commentators, so long used to telling the rest of us what to think, are being displaced.”
I have just listened to the bBC giving the Islamic brother of one of the men who tried to behead a man in broad daylight the right to play the…….Vicvtimcard. Disgusted is not the word. I have complained at this website http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/
I have written to my MP
The more people who complain and we the none Islamic population of the UK can send the message that enough is enough.
BBC? … lots of airtime, and the most appalling pneumatic advertising of this scumbags interview.
from the end of last OT – BBC report 5Live News …
that after V Derbyshire shilling for those trumpeting the sharia and UK law earlier this week, shamelessly triple teaming, with two advocates of sharia law, against a member of the secular law society … can be heard here
(This does have a secular society rep, but sadly VD Derbyshire, and two Islamic law reps, working in unison)
– 1hr 9 mins http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03ymmsz
Now she carries her Sharia favour on and has an “exclusive” (cosy) chat with islamist fanatic brother of Fusl. Lee Rigby s killer…
and that HE … cites “islamofauxbia” for his brother being locked up for the rest of his life? … and blames the judge … oh and the Brit Legal System.
Well … here is the first issue, the report of this upcoming interview … had the mention of this “islamofauxbia” about four times, BY THE News BEEBOTS themselves? … which sounded somewhat amiss.
Cue the advertisement snippet which had V Derbyshire herself asking … “do you blame islamofauxbia”? …
yep! she is spoon feeding a fanatic … who is no stranger to the usual Islamic excuse book? (more of the BBCs obsession with equating justified critique of a dangerous ideology with … ahem … “waycism”).
This interview is wrong on so many levels its hard to know where to start …. Lee s killers were “butchers”, driven by mandated Islamic Jihad fanaticism … that dangerous ideology.
Who cares if his killers have one life tariff, or ten? …
they have “got off light” … who wants to hear lipid excuses
by another islamic jihad fanatic about it? …
Sounds like this is yet another islamic nutjob, showing how brainwashed he is?, and thus surely a cause for concern?.
BBC … protecting Islam, shilling for Islam, shamefully … even
over the tragic murder of one of our own brave soldiers.
And here is his Twitter site, it appears that the brother is just as fucking warped as his murderous brother. You’d think any reputable news org would have done a little research before inviting him to vent his spleen at…..Islamophobia. Tweets by J_Adebolajo
Your lucky if your MP is like that, when I contacted my MP about the BBc their anti English stance and the fact their complaints system is a f***ing joke. He replied to the effect that he was just an MP and didn’t want to get involved., well worth a stamp not.
“W1A’s latest episode highlights the BBC’s train of thought”
[Opening excerpt]:-
“BBC2 satire W1A* may operate in a ‘parallel universe’ to the actual BBC, but that hasn’t stopped the Beeb being nervous about how the corporation might be perceived. Episode two, which airs on Wednesday night, features head of values Ian Fletcher travelling to the BBC’s headquarters in Salford to appear on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. However, the carriage given to the W1A production crew by Virgin to film Ian preparing for his grilling by Jenni Murray was (horrors!) in first class. Keen to reassure licence fee payers that BBC staff do not routinely travel to Salford first class, the crew removed all the luxury trappings such as curtains, free newspapers, cutlery and plates and head protectors to make it look like a standard class carriage.”
These people are now just pathetic. Nonenties in the making and it would be a kindness to sell the BBC off.
The whole thing is getting to be a joke. The British Leyland of the airwaves.
How long before he’s on INBBC ‘Newsnight,’ or before V. Derbyshire’s giving him the soft voice propaganda treatment on Radio 5?
“He’s the only hate preacher in the village: Firebrand Muslim cleric buys church hall in heart of Midsomer Murder country to broadcast vile rants to Middle East.
“Sheikh Yasser al-Habib bought £2million base in Fulmer last year.
“Ofcom has now confirmed he is allowed to broadcast hate-filled sermons stirring up enmity between Sunnis and Shias.
“Now residents of the Midsomer-style village are worried about the community’s reputation.
“‘We don’t want to be the source of vitriolic and poisonous output.’ ”
By HUGO GYE.
I wish people would refrain from the use of the words ‘hate preacher’. This is a construct of the left to make the men who preach Islam in its true form somehow remote from those they wish to describe as ‘moderate Muslims’
The truth is of course that there Muslims and non Muslims, and nothing in between.
I have been telling people for years, that there is no ‘moderate islam’.
There is only islam, period.
Take it as a package or not at all. But beware, once taken, can never ever be renounced.
There you have it, pure and simple.
What you show with your comment is the same kind of racism that you would accuse Muslims of having. It might be easier to want things as clear as black and white, but life is more complex than that. Fortunately human beings have been given a mind that’s capable of seeing colour, but only if you apply it.
I’m disappointed in you guys as usually you post many intelligent views and provide important feedback about the BBC.
Rather than continue the ridiculous statements written, perhaps you should first read some of Raheem Kassam at Breitbart London, or listen to the Imam of the Oxford Mosque, Dr. Taj Hargay, on the Jeremy Vine show following the sentencing of the Oxford paedophile gangs, explaining that the reason these gangs have done so much damage is because the NSPCC and authorities’ wouldn’t call a spade a spade’, and ‘pussyfooted around’. I would consider both VERY GOOD FRIENDS, as I believe if you knew them better – so would you.
Not to mention the many Arabs who support Israel.
But if Muslims believe that there are many British who see them all the same they are less likely to speak out about things they hate about Islamists.
Please think more carefully about what you say here.
In fact by coincidence Raheem’s latest article deals with 3 Muslims on Newsnight debating the Jesus and Mo’ cartoons. See if you can watch it and still think all Muslims are the same.
Interesting, very moderate blokes for a change on the Beeb. But loads of bias exposed on Paxman’s part, taking the part of the ‘offended Muslims’ – even when no-one in the panel was offended.
Of course, the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation, representing global interests of Islamic nations, wants a global ban on criticism of Islam.
INBBC is ahead of the political game on this one: it already appears to have enforced such a ban.
Teddybear,
This post of yours falls into the kind that says:
Some of my best friends are muslims, and they are all really nice people. And dont you know that some are doctors and surgeons and well, you know such professional educated nice people.
Yes, of course that can be true. I have not tarred all of those people with the same brush.
My comments referred to islam itself, as an ideology. You cant even call it a religion.
There will always have been moderate thinking people amongst muslims in the past, but they follow an ideology that forces, yes forces them to follow in the teachings of some savage from the 7th century. The sword or ak47 tends to apply judicial pressure, and policies of homophobia, mysogeny, antisemitism, racism, intolerance, are inbuilt in their teachings. Couple that with the punishment for blasphemy or apostacy being a nasty death, and you end up with the position that I stated: once taken, not able to change course or give it up.
Islam enables the lunatics to run the asylum.
Now I dont care if some of your best pals are muslim, or that you ‘know’ those muslims of whom you speak to have wonderful natures.
That will never change the nature of islam itself, which originated with savages of the 7th century, is barbaric, crude and disgusting to any right thinking human, and today remains exactly the same as it always was.
Just to recap: islam is, as I said before, the real problem.
Similarly, some members of the police force service are not corrupt, some bankers are not greedy, some doctors don’t kill people and I’m sure a few members of the SS were decent folk with bad judgement (not many, mind).
Everyone generalises, but it’s only other people’s generalisations that are wrong.
Thanks for clarifying your view Dysgwr.
You restore my faith 😉
Regarding the teachings of the religion, I would agree with you 100%. I have yet to find ONE thing about it that contributes more to mankind than was in existence already – quite the contrary, it goes backward.
My point was that I felt some were lumping all Muslims together, and that I feel is very wrong. The examples I gave were to show that there are Muslims who share the same values as us and are fighting to combat the lower minded radicals. We must support them.
I can imagine there are many Muslims in this country who similarly detest the hardline mob, and were hoping to escape them when they came here. It must be tough for them knowing if they do speak out they will be targeted for ‘helping the infidels’.
In much the same way that we see those Palestinians accused of being Israeli collaborators if they speak out against the vile regimes controlling there now.
It’s our own stupid government, seemingly led by the BBC in this case, that makes any critic of Islam an Islamophobe. How can we expect Muslims who dislike what’s going on to speak out. Now only will they be reviled by their ‘own’, but seemingly by us too.
I think definitely Islam has much to be criticised for, as too for many of its adherents. But we must be careful not to tar all with the same brush or else we are being unfair and unthinking.
Western Christianity has gone through a number of reforms in the past five hundred years. Only the most fundamentalist of modern Christians accept the writings of the Bible as the whole truth. Islam, unfortunately, has never been reformed and the message of the Koran has NEVER been revised. What chances of the safety of an enlightened (are there any?) Imam in Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Iran questioning or revising what Mohammed is supposed to have written?
Modern science and thinking has questioned many passages of the Bible e.g. ” And the Lord said ‘ Let there be light, and there was light.” Obviously written before science proved the earth orbited the sun as there is always darkness somewhere on the planet. Or the passage in Genesis where Cain, expelled from Eden for killing his brother, travelled to the land of Nod where he took himself a wife. If Adam and Eve were Cain’s parents, that should have left three people populating the Earth after Abel’s murder, so where did Cain’s wife come from?
The Bible was written in an age of superstition and scientific ignorance, as was the Koran. It’s apparent that the Islamic orthodoxy won’t entertain a re-appraisal of the supposed teachings of the Koran. Whilever the Mohammed’s writings ( or attributed to him) are considered to be the literal truth, then violence and killing will always be a part of that religion.
I think it’s fair to say as human beings the New Testament was an enlightenment in what was being imparted from that which existed before. But that doesn’t mean anybody reading and getting something from it has to buy into everything it says.
Every truly intelligent being will see the context and possible purpose of what is related, be enriched by whatever they can be, and discard the rest.
Presumably many Muslims have done the same otherwise we wouldn’t have those like I referred to above.
But for sure there are the brainwashed, be it by the Bible, the Koran, or the BBC.
I don’t think you know very much about Islam !
Many people especially those on the left view it as something similar to Christianity where people don’t have to accept all of it, and it has the ability to allow people to conduct their worship in what ever way they wish.
A ‘Muslim’ woman such as the one who phoned in who does not cover their hair and wears a skirt, is in the eyes of the religion an apostate and must therefore be killed.
Let me remind you of the ‘moderate Muslim’ Labour minister who voted in favour of gay marriage, who has now been called an apostate and sentenced to death, although the sentence has not yet been carried out.
You talk about black and white and seeing things in colour – this goes to the heart of your misunderstanding.
The Qur’an is (believed to be) the word of God. As such it is eternal, immutable, perfect and it cannot be challenged. What was true 1500 years ago is true today.
With that in mind we are dealing with an ideology which is extremely black and white. What you are suggesting is watching a black and white TV & criticising the viewer for not seeing colour when it isn’t there!
Thoughtful…
I’ll disregard what you think I know about Islam, as I don’t expect you to know offhand. Let’s just say I’ve been following the goings on in that religion probably far longer than you for my own individual reasons.
It appears to me that you have not really understood my post, I was not talking about Islam – I was talking about Muslims, of which there about 1.7 billion in the world, and for anybody to think that they are all the same, and should be tarred with the same brush, are themselves guilty of the same kind of limited thinking they are accusing Muslims of.
You wrote (and I paraphrase) that all Imams (Muslim preachers) are the same, and it confutes the argument to think that any of them are not hate preachers.
I gave you a link above where you can listen to the Imam of the Oxford Mosque talk about how our own social services and agencies failed those children abused by Muslim paedophile gangs because of their PC issues. If you would have listened to the broadcast you would have also heard John Brown, head of the NSPCC sexual abuse programme, who is a typical left wing moron who will never break out of his mindset to deal with this problem. When you hear the excuses he comes out with, even arguing with the Imam – the EXPERT in front of him, rather than have to acknowledge the particular Muslim mindset that allows this scum to continue their foul deeds for so long.
Again, rather than conjecture how much I know or don’t know about Islam, which is anyway not the issue here, why don’t you listen to the broadcast and see if your generalised statement about Imams, is correct in light of it?
The problem is Teddy Bear, that most Muslims do not learn anything about the Qur’an as they only learn to recite it in classical Arabic which they cannot understand.
They are then taught by Imams what Islam teaches, which opens the religion to any abuse the Imam choses to perpetrate (or not). This used to happen in Christianity until it was made illegal 500 years ago. Of course it is utterly discriminatory to not make Islam only taught in the vernacular, but as Islam is concerned the discrimination is allowed.
Most Imams don’t know what the Qur’an teaches either because they refuse to read the translations as they believe them somehow ‘tainted’.
Hence we have people like Robert Spencer tearing Imams apart on the radio, because they know so little of their religion.
I never wrote that ‘all Imams are the same’ or implied it!
Cartoons and depictions of Mohammed are not specifically forbidden in the Qur’an and it’s something of a moot point so this is a discussion point within the ideology rather than a black and white issue and I’m afraid that your link doesn’t actually indicate the people are ‘moderate’ only that they disagree about a point subject to disagreement !
It could be that I’ve misunderstood your original post, which is among those that I was addressing. Here’s what you wrote: I wish people would refrain from the use of the words ‘hate preacher’. This is a construct of the left to make the men who preach Islam in its true form somehow remote from those they wish to describe as ‘moderate Muslims’
Can you understand why this infers that according to this it’s not necessary to add ‘hate’ to label Imams, as this implies that there can be Imams who preach love. which is a false premise.
That’s why I understood what I did.
Bear in mind also I was not only referring to your post, but others that degenerated and came after which I feel really does this site a disservice.
I would have thought you would be aware of how many posts I have made here about how skewed the BBC is on their reporting of Islam, to know I am well versed on its insidious nature. You can see from my own website that I have been commenting on it for many years, and long before I started my website.
Regarding the Newsnight interview, Ed West at the Spectator has fears that the Lib-Dems might be disassociating themselves from Maajid Nawaz, which would be a great pity as he is precisely the kind of Muslim we should be lauding for his stand.
Fake Documentary Shooting Bigfoot- BBC Breaks it’s code of accuracy rules
BBC lists under factual documentary science, nature and environment a film that contains an accusation by a participant in the film, of a actual fraud committed by the Filmmaker yet allows the airing of the film under the category of the BBC’s factual documentary science nature and environment output.
Defrauding of the licence payer in the process.
Speeding up unlimited mass immigration into U.K; in this case from Syria.
U.K/E.U political class (inc BBC-NUJ) enforces open-ended immigration from SYRIA.
It is not enough to send aid, equipment and funds to Syria, there is now what will turn into an open-ended political commitment for the West to take in unspecified numbers of Syrians who will have the rights to become permanent residents and citizens.
Apparently, a U.N agency which lobbies for Middle East people, is demanding that 130,000 Syrians (and counting?) get refugee status over three years.
Expect the political left-Islamic alliance to campaign for unlimited numbers of Syrians to get access to E.U and therefore to U.K.
Farage vs Clegg on LBC – a great show. And realisation why the BBBC has kept this at bay for so long – a proper kicking for Clegg and the EU. But what about the analysis? Nigel kicked Clegg’s butt, but crucially, the left-wing mainstream media did not see it that way. The first 30 minutes was full of ‘journalists’ saying how it was a really, really close thing, some giving the edge to Clegg, some giving the edge to Farage. Apologetic grimace from one lady saying ‘sorry, I think Nigel just edged it’.
30 minutes later, YouGov, the Labour-startup polling company (literally married to the EU), delivered the verdict of the British public. Thus graphically exposing the massive gap between the Westminster elite / journalists and the people they represent. Says it all, really.
Next week the Biased BBC will be frantic to put a stop to this, so will be tempted to load the dice against Nigel like they always do – audience, compere and questions loaded in Clegg’s favour.
BUT – with the changes the BBC is facing, can they afford to expose themselves like that within a week of the vote in parliament, and all the sudden negative publicity they have been exposed to?
I am feeling like it is a good week – Farage wins, EU criticised on national TV, MSM bias exposed. BBC taking a massive knock – a feeling I haven’t had for 25 years – it is almost like having Maggie in charge again!
No it is not that clear cut. Please dont run away with the idea that UKIP will only take votes from tories. Traditional labour core vote can also suffer, and the possible impact is too complex to know yet. We will get a clearer view after the Euro elections in May.
I feel the shires are with Farage. Minds have been made up long ago and certain recent events have reinforced this.
The major cities? No longer relevant to England and I say that with sadness but it is true.
The liberals probably understand this and will do everything to stop Ukip or rather rubbish the feelings that impel UKIP voters.
UKIP is just part of the way the pendulum swings. Liberalism and the 60s way of living has tipped over into farce and outright decadence that threatens the future of us all. . It had to happen eventually.
It is an assertion of reality over fantasy and that liberal desire to wish a world into being that conflicts with the real one.
We will have to await events. The debate revealed the poverty of liberalism as exemplified by that man Clegg. A bodysnatched man if ever there was one.
Of one thing I am certain this country is going to change.
Farage V Clegg the BBc breakfast report. So what do Breakfast do, they announce a “range” of issues were discussed. Fine ok so far, then they put on some shadow ,Mister, didn’t catch who and I didn’t recognise him. Who stated that his constituents were worried about wages and neither Farage or Clegg had an answer to that one and he didn’t know if the EU was such a big issue with them. WTF? What about all thoses polls that show the issue at or near the top is immigration. What about how Liebour deflated the wages market by flooding the country with immigrant workers? As I only managed to see a couple of minutes of the debate on Sky news last night I was interested what the overall outcome was. Should of known better with the BBc fat chance of actually being given a fair unbiased report. They are now giving more time to a story about kids pocket money. SNAFU. Taken for a ride you have been.
Ok at 08:09 they ran Farage / Clegg again. To be fair it was expanded and to be fair told me virtually nothing in a segment that ran for @ 1 minute. Are you reading this blog BBc? Oh look it’s Caroline Flint, has she had her teeth whitened, is there some kind of sub story to link Liebour with the energy company investigations? Were Liebour that worried about energy prices when their regime was running the show? Certainly were not interested in petrol/ diesel prices remember their fuel escalator anyone?
I have seen two of the reports on breakast albeeba this morning, the second one just allowed Anna Soubrey to rubbish the debate as meaningless, irrelevant, etc.
In neither report is there any reference to a certain Yougov poll, which clearly called Farage as the outright ‘ winner’.
Another case of bias by omission.
I heard the Clegg -Farage debate on LBC and it was a marvelous example of what the BBC could be if it wasn’t biased. Unlike the BBC, the politicians were allowed to state and debate their positions and let the listener decide. The chair was light touch, not hectoring or pompous and not restating questions at endless length. Both politicians came across well. The value of this was shown after the show on LBC where an habitual Labour voting woman, who sounded like a skilled non EU immigrant, was clearly swayed by the revelation that UKIP is not anti-immigration but wants controlled immigration. UKIP policy would increase the prospects for skilled immigrants from the rest of the world, at the expense of unskilled immigrants from the EU. She is an example of why the BBC needs to misdirect people over UKIP. For example on the Radio 4 news headlines Clegg was described as ‘europhile’ while Farage was described as ‘anti-European’ (sic), which must worry the present Mrs Farage! The LBC audience also applauded both politicians at times, showing a balance absent in BBC audiences. You could tell it was London though, as the biggest applause was in support of gay marriage – irrelevant as that seemed.
LBC showed how to do it. Let’s see how the BBC manages the next leg of debate.
Need we ask?
I need only report the little bits of Today between 8 and 9 this morning
1. Humphrys gets something close to the required soundbite for 9am. The Centrica bloke did not in any way threaten that the lights would go off ,if his company(and the other cartel members) were put under yet another enquiry…but-sure enough-at (am that is EXACTLY what the news headline was.
Humphrys put words into his mouth, harassed and inferred until they got an approximation to what the BBC sought-and then it was THAT that made the news.
2. Oh, surprise surprise-here`s Caroline Flint to claim that this was and is Labours victory-Miliband says something, siz months later-SSE do exactly what Labour wanted.
Couldn`t have happened if Labour weren`t being the Consumer Monkey of BBC stitching…they`re all Esther Rantzen and Anne Robinson these days , so they think!
3, Some “business correspondent” harasses some annuity/insurance spokesman-“we`ve not got time”, “you`ve been ripping us all off” etc just after the 8.30 news.
As if our Beeboid knew anything but that capitalism has got to go-do`nt need to understand it in the meantime.
That was extracts of an hour of prime Beeb flagship offering-paid for by us-f***in student radio…yet they think they`ve moulded us for Labours grooming.
FFS-they have got to go!
It just isn’t as simple a result as many seem to think – in fact it’s highly complex with the possibility of both men being winners – or – losers !
In addition very few people appeared to have watched it, and they had to poll 10000 people to get a resultant poll from 1000 people.
In addition Liebours lead has fallen to just 2% as Millipede by dent of his sheer hopelessness and lack of personality is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
If one looks at the polls of its readers, the Telegraph (formerly a conservative organ), has Farage leading with 80+%. If the comments there (and also in the daily Mail) are anything to go by, Nigel continues to win hands down.
Looks like a fair amount of reading across the tribal media estates will be needed to get a view on how it is actually seen by others.
Driving with the boys to school this morning, Classic FM’s ‘news’ (it is dire) managed that Mr. Farage had polled ‘more than 50%’ which, whilst true, seems an odd way to try and describe the actual figures.
I watched the entire debate and noted the longest applause went to Clegg’s emotive support for gay marriage. This will have been earmarked by the BBC who will plant a concerned homosexual in the audience during their debate. Farrage won the argument, and won it on issues which I thought Clegg would have done best – on the numbers, percentages, etc. But as one member of the public in a BBC film from Eastleigh put it, the figures were unconvincing. For the argument on the streets is not restricted to jobs and income, but on the cultural destruction which has accompanied open immigration and the multicultural experiment. Perhaps it is not necessary for Farrage to mention it.
Most of our problems have their root in uncontrolled immigration, its just not obvious. Our whole infrastructure is creaking from the state of our roads to the NHS, not to mention cultural issues.
Personally I rather grow old poorer among my own than ‘enriched’ by those I have absolutely nothing in common with….
Agree. But there are degrees of cultural difference. It is usually much easier to get along with Europeans with whom we have much in common than with immigrants from Asia with whom with have much less in common. Europeans don’t hate us ,don’t want to blow us up,don’t kill our soldiers , don’t want a different law for themselves, don’t subvert our schools etc etc. So why the heel are the Asians here? Because the liberal left invited them to come in their millions.
Agreed, but we have even more in common with New Zealander’s, Australian’s, Canadian’s and Americans, namely culture, heritage and language, yet strangely unlike the 400 odd million Europeans that Farage talks of, they don’t have the right of free movement, no one should.
Of course allowing such would not have allowed the Liberal left to partake in their Marxist subversion to destroy this nation, hence the Asians.
Most of the population of European origin in Canada – namely Italians, Portuguese, Poles, Germans, Dutch, Croats and French – is no longer exclusively of WASP stock.
Amidst the applause for Clegg on gay marriage, possibly by people who assumed Farage would be anti, the gist of Farage’s reply was missed. Farage wasn’t anti-gay marriage but rightly suspects that over-reaching ECHR legislation will force religions in the UK to marry gays equally despite their moral objections. Farage’s reply was sensible. Ditto his provocative reply to the question on Ukraine. The EU does have blood on its hands and its meddling has helped create a crisis out of a demonstration. Who wouldn’t now rather go back to the time when Yanukovych had agreed a deal with Opposition politicians. A deal which was scuppered by a mob incited by snipers who on their first day of operation shot more police and government supporters than anti-government people, and it is the new Ukrainian government which does not want to investigate these shootings.
Yes, they all ignored the consequences of same sex marriage being an EU virtue as imposed on us.
Namely that anybody NOT on message like a vicar, a caterer or a B&B owner(or indeed anybody who resents the deliberate hollowing out of a sacred institution that has been around since pre-Christian times) will find themselves at the mercy of the Pink Police, Stonewall and the usual agitprop liberal lefties that just hate white blokes subverting the Soviet creche system, by getting married and taking care of their own kids.
THat is all this agenda is about-thankfully, Islam will deal with it, whilst what remains of the Church will put out the pink bunting in submission-until the black flags with green swords and Arabic script become available.
Pathetic-and the reflex hee-hawing of the audiences on the BBC(Free Speech the other night)-and as Clegg waved his chihuahau whistles last night on LBC-is deeply troubling.
IKEA flatpack reflex postures…Martha and the Muftis are forming as we speak!
This is the latest in an all-too-occasional-series that praises the BBC when they manage to free themselves – for just a brief moment – from their usual Leftist biases.
BBC2 last night broadcast Thomas Asbridge’s exploration of the life and world of William Marshal ‘The Greatest Night’.
Remarkably, for a BBC employed presenter, he breaks away from the conventional safe Marxist academic tale of greedy robber barons to explain how in the early 13th century a few men like William Marshal curbed the power of the Monarch in England with Magna Carta; thereby ushering in the rule of law, freedom from arbitrary arrest and the sanctity of property – setting an example for the world down the centuries.
There was even an English ‘Braveheart’ moment when, facing a French invasion force that had reached the heart of England, Marshall, the Norman-born nobleman, invoked…. Englishness!
How often do you hear that on the BBC?
Don’t go thinking that this a new dawn. BBC anti-English and Leftist attitudes are always with us – I couldn’t help but notice the BBC’s write-up for this show condescendingly refers to the ‘rip-roaring adventure story’
Only really really approved history – such as that laid down by Prof Mary Beard – is to be taken really really seriously.
The first thing to note concerning the EU debate is that it took a commercial regional radio station to summon the balls necessary to put the thing on air.
Considering we know Cameron and Miliband would each rather not talk about this subject – what price BBC so-called ‘independence’?
Of course Auntie blushes whenever the skirt is lifted by some passing wind and we catch a glimpse of her pink knickers – so the BBC makes sure they get in on the act by hosting EU debate the sequel – BBC house rules will apply.
Clegg presented a pretty desperate message : stay in or you will lose your job; the UK is too weedy to stand alone.
There was a delicious moment when he praised European Arrest Warrants by claiming how wonderful it was that we could recover all our murderers who had fled abroad and drag them back here to face justice. Which begged the question : How about we don’t let them come here in the first place?
Does your street feel safer because of our membership of the EU? Apparently Nick Clegg’s does.
Clegg amounts to little more than what it stamped on his lid – He does not have the UK’s best interests at heart. He gives the EU bureaucrat argument from an EU point of view : Please don’t leave – it won’t be so good for us here in Europe if you go it alone.
Its was laughable, and I’m surprised that Farage didn’t pick up on it that Clegg said we should be thankful that is was because we are in the EU we were able to bring that hardened criminal Jeremy Forrest back to the UK (he who eloped with a very nearly 16 year old to France)
Clegg represents Hallam in Sheffield which is one of the richest wards in the North. It used to be Irwin Patnick’s seat (him of the Hillsborough infamy) and the only Tory seat in the North at one time.
I imagine the streets of Hallam are no different than they were 40 years ago. They certainly won’t have been mended and the only real changes is that many of them are no longer tree lined after the Labour council cut most of the trees down there in revenge for the 1987 defeat. Seriously, they really used the defeat as an excuse for their vandalism – Tory Cuts!
Just read the bBC article on this subject. They have opened it up to the public to comment, yet for some strange reason the editors selection (1 post so far) doesn’t represent the by far vast majority of posts which condemn clegg and defend (And support) Farage.
When was that then? Geoffrey Dickens held Saddleworth & Littleborough for the Tories, and George Osbournes Tatton constituency which is even wealthier than Hallam had the notorious Neil Hamilton as MP. Apart from the blip when it returned an independent it’s always been Tory.
Tatton doesn’t even have a local Labour party branch!
I may been a bit hyperbolic there. The two constituencies you mention were not Tory in 1997 but I think there were a few seats across rural North Yorks and Lancs that survived the putsch.
I love this comment on the HYS about the Clegg/Farage debate

BBC, are you getting the message here ? The highest rated comments on here are anti-EU/pro-Farage ? And the lowest rated comments are pro-EU/anti-Farage. You are backing the wrong horse. When are you going to wake up to this ? Your lib-lefty, pro-EU views might sit well with the latté-sipping Guardianista set in Muswell Hill, but out here in the real world, they are as relevant as Betamax….
I think you may find that Sheffield Hallam, once considered Sheffield’s stockbroker belt, had a council/social housing estate built within it and is now the location of many student digs. That change in demographics weakened a once solid Conservative voting base and helped Calamity Clegg win his parliamentary seat.
Looks like they added Crookes (students), Totley (biggish council estate), Fulwood (Liberal but wealthy) and Stannington which is Liberal.
They removed Dore (Tory), Broomhill (students) and Nether Edge (Labour)
All no doubt overseen by Mr Jerry Mander and sons, local shysters of ill repute.
Relatives of mine have lived there for years. It used to be a very plush area but now it is looking decidedly uncared for. Even Ecclesall which is/was the richest ward in the city.
They have been messing with the boundaries in Sheffield for donkeys years, mainly so that donkeys could get elected.
Despite being a big industrial city in the ’70’s Sheffield had some very nice parts to it. It was one of the greenest cities with numerous parks and woods within the boundaries.
Now it is a wasteland. Even the nice bits are shabby and the industry has been replaced by shopping malls and stadia.
The city centre has had millions spent on it during the Long Night of Labour’s misrule (97-10). The BBC naturally praised it’s ‘regeneration’, ever happy to play Pravda to the council’s Politburo. Yet the changes are paper thin, the ‘regeneration’ amounts to nice shop fronts with the back and side streets in total decay. Millions squandered for next to nothing. Socialism in practice.
I’m glad I don’t have to spend much time in the socialist republic any more.
You are right about the opening time and to be dubious about when the BBC pulls the plug.
There is also what the Editor has picked vs. what is currently being shared, liked, etc.
I am just a bit unsurprised at the headline chosen: Clegg ‘shocked’ by Farage’s stance on Ukraine
By what measure of impartiality is the quoted view of one debater seen as appropriate, much less in terms such as this?
No wonder they are avoiding the most liked (all pretty much countering their shared ‘shock’ with Nick), and will doubtless feel the urge to pull the plug before the evening news if things go further South of BBC ‘analytical preferences’.
Meanwhile, in case they get creative with the comments and start purging: 15. The Bloke What a coincidence.
The BBC ignores Clegg’s refusal to deal with his lies over student funding, plays down Farage’s apparent polling success, and now sides with Clegg over Ukraine.
How about the BBC dealing with Clegg’s Big Lies – funding, that rubbish about 3 million jobs and so on.
Clegg is beneath contempt. So is the BBC, for siding with him.
“It should be made very clear at the start of the debate what Clegg’s EU pension entitlements are and exactly under what terms that pension is paid. The greasy little tw*t won’t let the public know himself.”
Especially, as I understand it, that the EU pension will only be payable if one always supports the EU.
If the European Arrest Warrants are the only means by which we can import or export criminals (as part of the judicial system as opposed to the immigration system) how come we have such dealings with the rest of the world, including the lop-sided agreement with the US?
BBC R4 programme about polio resurfacing in Syria, but only in rebel held areas as the Syrian government still vaccinates in areas it controls. Apparently the polio has come to Syria from Pakistan via Egypt. That immediately tells me what’s happening but so far doesn’t seem to be mentioned by the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-25823154
“Pakistan polio workers shot dead in Karachi”
If you join the dots, polio is resurgent in Pakistan because Islamists are murdering medical teams. Those same Islamists are literally carrying the polio germ as they go to wage jihad in Syria.
Naturally the BBC will report that.
The stepdad, who has denied sexually assaulting the 4-year-old at their family home in Cambridgeshire, said that being a Muslim meant he could not touch her when she was naked, even while bathing her.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies assaulting a child under 13 by penetration, with the act being sexual, on or before August 5 last year when the child was taken to Addenbrooke’s with internal and external injuries.
In a series of police interview transcripts read to the jury, the court heard how the man’s lodger had heard the girl screaming when being showered by her stepdad…..The child was found to have bite marks on her cheek and her right arm. The defendant claimed in the August interview that the marks were caused by her brother and an allergic reaction to medication respectively.
But, after experts matched the bite on her arm to his teeth, he told police in October that he had given it as a demonstration to the girl.
The Jeremy Vine chooses not to discuss the Clegg v Farage debate, instead deciding to run with the eradication of polio in India.
Coming out of the news with the Tony Benn funeral story Jeremy’s first words are ‘bless Tony Benn, we miss him….’ I don’t recall him saying the same for Mrs T.
I listen to Ken Bruce and Steve Wright, but as soon as Vine comes on I am over to Classic FM. I hate his choice of music and even the topics chosen for debate shows the bias even before we consider who is allowed to speak.
Which brings me onto all phone in programmes. I have often wondered why the first caller rang in. For example this week on You and Yours there was an item about shopping and the traditional supermarkets versus Aldi and Lidl. The first few callers were all men. Were they really sitting at home and hearing the subject of the debate think ‘I will ring Radio 4 and tell the listeners that because of the cost of living crisis I have had to switch from the evil Waitrose to the marvellous shop for the poor, Lidl’ (implied it is all the fault of the evil Torees’. Or does the BBC just ring Labour HQ and ask them to phone in as a listener?
Talking of You and Yours, it was one of their programmes, quite a few years ago, that gave me my Damascene moment about BBC bias. The item was about a Nigerian female immigrant who had complained about not getting selected for an advertised job. The work entailed telephone sales for a small marketing company but this applicant had a very poor grasp of English and even less of the technology of the computerised phone system. The solution mooted by the guest liberal do-gooder was that the owner (a man – boo, hiss) should have employed her AND an agency worker who would have spent six months (!!!) helping her achieve the competence to do the job properly. The (white) temp would then be laid off and the immigrant would take over. The cost of all this (off the owner’s bottom line – i.e. profit, aka his wages) was about £25k – all to assuage the innate colonial guilt of the Primrose Hill Ranger. All this nonsense was accepted without comment by the presenter. Reader, I SHOUTED at the radio
And due to Equality legislation he may have had to employ another person with poor English to teach her English. Then had to keep trying until he got one fit for purpose!
Greater fleas have lesser fleas upon their backs to bite ‘em
And lesser fleas have smaller fleas;
And so ad infinitum
I rarely listen to the JV show, I can’t stand the $*&t either, but have you ever noticed that often its the same texter’s and callers giving their views regardless of subject.
I also only learn’t the other day that Mrs Vine is a news reader on the bBC News channel – cozy eh?
People should bear in mind that Clegg and Farage are not natural opponents. Neither can win from the other as the views are so polarised.
Whereas it might be expected that both parties could take voters from the Tories and Labour, it is highly unlikely that UKIP would take voters from the Fib Dems, and vice versa, because their views on Europe are absolute opposites in a way the other parties are not.
Clegg has little to lose as he knows his party is likely to be annihilated at the local elections, and any publicity / airtime he can get will be a positive for him.
Farage needs any airtime he can get as the bBC does its best to deny UKIP any positive moments in the sun, again for him it can only have a positive outcome.
The few voters who might be affected are those who don’t want to vote either party in, and have the ‘plague on both your houses’ mentality, they are not party political and might just cast their votes for UKIP, but I doubt any kind of debate such as this is going to sway that decision.
I knew I was on the BBC website when I went to the home page and the lead article was about students being forced to have Kim Jong haricuts – no mention of any debates then –
BTW – the YouGov website – makes it clear that their results were 65% Farage to 28% for Clegg. They ‘adjusted’ the figures to come up with the (only very slightly less embarrassing 57%-36%). Bet you won’t find that on the BBC!
The BBC are going hammer and tongs at yet another enquiry into energy provision and competition…monopolies, rip offs etc.
Yet the obvious monopoly that is the BBC never gets a look.
This also applies to their worrying about the lack of staff around in hospitals at weekends( You and Yours today, 27/3/14)….without any history on just WHO caused this with their contracts for doctors in 2006…or the EU Working Time Directives that prevent students getting suitable training.
And another one-yet more criticisms of the police for not doing enough about domestic violence-but not a peep about blokes who don`t get access to their kids, mums losing their children-due to Social Servics and their cartel with the Godawful Family Courts.
As far as I can see, only Christopher Booker in the Telegraph gives a jot…the BBC have yet to do anything to raise THIS scandalous profile…but, hey only white blokes are the victims-and the less of them there are, the happier Harriet and the BBC will be.
F888the BBC!
Energy prices are part of Labours election strategy in more ways than one.
Firstly there is the direct promise of Millipede to freeze energy prices, which he may or may not have abandoned. (See appropriate thread!)
Secondly there’s the false cost of living campaign which includes 30% stealth tax on energy.
The way the bBC report this is to play it from a Labour point of view, that it is Millipedes promise which has forced SSE to freeze their prices, and that now Millipede doesn’t need to keep his promise to freeze energy prices
Question Time tonight from Brighton (a pinky green audience?)
Diane Abbott, Mick Hucknall (WTF?) Justine Greening, Simon Wolfson and UKIP’s Roger Helmer.
On paper it has potential, in reality we all know the audience will be loaded, Abbott and Hucknall will receive rapturous applause if they as much as fart, Helmer will be treated with scorn and derision …..
At least Auntie’s myrmidons won’t have to phone around and make coach bookings to provide this week’s ‘balanced’ QT audience since they’ve instead had the bright idea of bringing the ‘mountain’ to the ‘Mohamed’ that is Loonville on Sea.
Will the delectable Abbot be quizzed about texting/tweeting during Marxy Benn’s funeral today, I wonder? I gather one or two folk were rather upset by her, er, disrespect.
What will be interesting is what questions do come up. http://order-order.com/2014/03/27/diane-abbotts-question-time-prep-leaked-again/
With the cat rather out of the bag on the benefit cap being one I guess a quick revision is in progress, but it would be interesting how panellists come to ‘suspect’ what’s on the menu given all the other oddly coy ‘above board’ activities QT claims.
One of the highlights of the BBC was the series Civilisation, presented by Kenneth Clark and commissioned by David Attenborough when he was controller of BBC2. But this was 1969, before the beeb was taken over by its band of metropolitan lefties, queers and ethnic minorities.
Now, Tony Hall wants to create something similar. What’s the betting that the bBBC wants to re-educate us about civilisation, to include all the bits of ‘history’ that we didn’t know, like black disabled lesbian ‘literature’, Islamic science and African inventions?
I predict it will be called “Savilisation” and will be done over 30 episodes by Stephen Fry-the towering intellect for such hulks(sorry, flagships) as this series.
Why not give all who take part a”Sir James of Pudsey fixed me” badge( in environmentally-sound gold foil) and let them sit on the BBC beanbags and scatter cushions all around the studio…Dianne Abbott, Camilla Batmanghedghli and Jenni Murray ought to do it!
And a free TV License to the first person to “disclose” something about Sky or UKIP…but no PIES please, for that would give Harriet Droney an attack of the vapeurs….
I still think Tony Hall is trying a PR trick to try to erase thoughts of years of the BBC spending billions a year on dumbing down TV. David Attenborough was a great leader for BBC 2, commissioned some of the best stuff the BBC ever produced. Hall is just a lightweight by comparison.
The original Kenneth Clark Civilisation series is still out there on YouTube – no propaganda in it, just dry succinct summaries of the Western heritage.

No – look back at some of the excellent stuff Attenborough commissioned when he was the first Controller of BBC2. We are still talking about some of it.

I see the bBC has started a “She can only be a victim and think of the children” Article for British drug smuggler Khadija Shah.
Drugs smuggler ‘unfairly convicted’
The family of a British woman jailed for smuggling drugs out of Pakistan believe she was unfairly convicted….Her mother, who asked not to be named, thinks Shah was tricked into carrying 63kg (138lb) of heroin by traffickers.
138Ibs of Heroin in suitcases bBC? That’s 2Ib short of 10 stone. How the hell can anybody claim she was tricked into carrying such through an airport?
“”I know my daughter; she is a very innocent girl.”
Always are aren’t they.

Most people just use arithmetic all their working lives, include in the curriculum how to calculate area, volume, ratios, basic algebra, commercial arithmetic and so on……surely most kids would leave with some competence then? Maths can be taken by those that want to take engineering, medicine, science etc…..discuss….

The BBC’s debate will be fair, they say.

Remind me again -what is it the BBC (radio and television) provide that I can’t get else where?

Last on the thread again so reposted:

‘Apparently 1929 was more than 250 years ago! I expect that’s close enough for the average Guardian reader!’
And who knows who such readers may be?
But then, I guess it was also a different time.
Lucky the BBC has settled on the science they like from only the highest calibre sources, like blokes called Bob.

“they have broken their own guidelines about describing interviewees correctly’
There’s a lot of it about. Doesn’t seem to matter much.
Actually Bob seems an ideal, if unintentional, one-person foot-in-mouth outbreak, so bring him on more. But it would be helpful if the BBC could at least stake out who is under what flags correctly.

Estimates suggest that 50% of Labour Party members are teachers.

And so naturally the BBC tackle her with questions from the Left-hand side of the debate. Gosh, it was as if we were back in the pre-2010 world of Labour Government where the BBC kept asking why-oh-why can’t they be a little more Left?

This is the end of my poem which is relevant.

Such short time blissful pleasure
Was never meant for merely leisure
It’s part of a far greater thing
That’s precious and lost on a passing fling.
It’s hard to explain
But it’s true just the same
When you share your body
It’s not just the physicality that’s there
If you care, you’ll comprehend the fact
Sex is more complex than a simple act
Sex is part of loyalty, love and worth
The greatest gift on earth
If we keep this in sight
Health and contentment will flow
As day follows night.

Spoilsport! Where is it wrong then?

Gadzooks the bounder has shot me stag!
So you don’t use an ‘a’ before a non-mutating verb then? Damn. That’s the last time I trust Google Translate. Next time I’ll check it with Bing!

– 1hr 9 mins
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03ymmsz
SHAME on the BBC!

How long before he’s on INBBC ‘Newsnight,’ or before V. Derbyshire’s giving him the soft voice propaganda treatment on Radio 5?

“Sheikh Yasser al-Habib bought £2million base in Fulmer last year.

I wish people would refrain from the use of the words ‘hate preacher’. This is a construct of the left to make the men who preach Islam in its true form somehow remote from those they wish to describe as ‘moderate Muslims’
The truth is of course that there Muslims and non Muslims, and nothing in between.
Don’t fall for the lies of the left!

I have been telling people for years, that there is no ‘moderate islam’.
There is only islam, period.
Take it as a package or not at all. But beware, once taken, can never ever be renounced.
There you have it, pure and simple.
There are no hate preachers.
Only preachers.
No extreme islam, just the ordinary variety.

Dead right Thoughtful. In my book the term “moderate muslim” is an oxymoron comparable to “moderate Nazi”.

Islam is not a race.

Here’s what you wrote:
I wish people would refrain from the use of the words ‘hate preacher’. This is a construct of the left to make the men who preach Islam in its true form somehow remote from those they wish to describe as ‘moderate Muslims’
The link you are referring to is the Newsnight You-tube video I posted above. The one that I wanted you to hear though is this one about the Muslim paedophile gangs.
Regarding the Newsnight interview, Ed West at the Spectator has fears that the Lib-Dems might be disassociating themselves from Maajid Nawaz, which would be a great pity as he is precisely the kind of Muslim we should be lauding for his stand.

Despite how it may look or feel, the BBC would probably like Farage and UKIP to do well as doing so would help Miliband into No. 10.

Credit – where credit’s due
This is the latest in an all-too-occasional-series that praises the BBC when they manage to free themselves – for just a brief moment – from their usual Leftist biases.
BBC2 last night broadcast Thomas Asbridge’s exploration of the life and world of William Marshal ‘The Greatest Night’.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03z2l6l

“the only Tory seat in the North at one time.”

An awful lot of anti-Farage comments getting a thumbs-down on the HYS page….

Comments section only opened up about half an hour ago – how long is that after the debate ended ? I wonder how long it will remain open for….?

You are right about the opening time and to be dubious about when the BBC pulls the plug.
There is also what the Editor has picked vs. what is currently being shared, liked, etc.
I am just a bit unsurprised at the headline chosen:
Clegg ‘shocked’ by Farage’s stance on Ukraine
By what measure of impartiality is the quoted view of one debater seen as appropriate, much less in terms such as this?
No wonder they are avoiding the most liked (all pretty much countering their shared ‘shock’ with Nick), and will doubtless feel the urge to pull the plug before the evening news if things go further South of BBC ‘analytical preferences’.
Meanwhile, in case they get creative with the comments and start purging:
15. The Bloke
What a coincidence.

As someone on Guido’s Blog says:-
“It should be made very clear at the start of the debate what Clegg’s EU pension entitlements are and exactly under what terms that pension is paid. The greasy little tw*t won’t let the public know himself.”
Especially, as I understand it, that the EU pension will only be payable if one always supports the EU.

Well don’t expect that for the next debate. It’s on the BBC and the BBC won’t let the world know the money it receives from the EU.

All the top rated comments are pro Farage. The beeb will soon pull that page.

While the bBC is happy to castigate the CoE for its so called biassed stance against Gays, I wonder when the bBC is going to report this story of Child abuse by somebody who uses his faith as a defence:
Court hears Muslim man accused of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter told police: ‘It may burn your eyes to see or touch a naked woman’
“A Muslim man accused of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter said his religion prevented him from hurting her, a court heard.
Something tells me they won’t.

Bias – what bias?

My wife listens to R2 for the music. Vine is one of the most biased broadcasters at the BBC, and he has stiff competition.

Rather suspect the divine Ms. A would get the rapture treatment even if the reality of this was shared and explained in words of one syllable to the ever-representative QT mob.

Oh cripes ! It WILL be Fry, won’t it ? I’ll have to buy a cheaper tv so as to be able to kick in the screen on a budget.

The original Kenneth Clark Civilisation series is still out there on YouTube – no propaganda in it, just dry succinct summaries of the Western heritage.

before he became an dis info agent for international banks
and their climate change science fraud
David Attenborough should have remained a story teller of
genuine fiction like his Brother, and not a liar telling science fraud fiction for corrupt international banksters coughing up yet more money for the vatican liars.

No – look back at some of the excellent stuff Attenborough commissioned when he was the first Controller of BBC2. We are still talking about some of it.
eg Civilisation
The Money Programme
The Ascent of Man (Bronowski)
Old Grey Whistle Test
Monty Python
rugby league
Alastair Cooke’s America series
Life On Earth
Compare that list to the dross the BBC has been producing in recent years. Much of it laden with leftie propaganda.
